Drink: I ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte with Marshmallow Foam, and it was around $8.50-$9. It was definitely on the sweeter side, and the matcha flavor was pretty weak. To me, it mostly tasted like watered-down strawberry syrup and milk. Wait Time: The drink took about 15 minutes to come out, which felt a little long since there was only one customer ahead of us. Staff: That being said, the staff was super nice and friendly. Ambiance: The shop itself is very spacious with plenty of seating, and there are lots of cute decorations.

Espumita has been on my coffee tour list for a bit and I finally tried it out. First and foremost, service is very helpful and friendly. The owners are very kind and took their time explaining the drinks to me. I started out ordering for me and my mom and ended up taking something to the whole family. I ordered two of the Cafecitos, a Turtle Latte, a few teas to go, the last Raspberry cookie and a danish. The Cafecito was really good and loved the frothy, sweet, top. If you choose to enjoy a Cafecito there, they will also pour it at your table, which is special. The Turtle Latte was also good but very sweet. Both pastry items were very good and so were the teas. The atmosphere is clean, open, and inviting. I don't usually stay too long at coffee shops, but I did stay a good amount of time here to enjoy two Cafecitos. Overall, this is a great place to visit!

Im so glad this place exists . I had been wanting to try this coffee shop out and being that it was Cuban coffee even better . The decor inside was super cute and it gave off Cuban vibes . There was a ton of seating inside as well . The service was really friendly and the girl working was super sweet . She answered any questions I had and explained the menu throughly . I got the iced Cuban with oat milk and sugar free vanilla with cinnamon powder on top . The coffee was super delicious and it almost had sweet floral and vanilla notes to it . I also got the guava pastry as well which was a customer favorite and it was super flaky and yummy and had the perfect amount of sweetness from the guava and the pastry had the perfect texture . I can't wait to come back to try something else soon.

Espumita translates to "little foam" or "little froth". It is a term Cubans use to describe the sweet, foamy topping on their espresso drinks. Honestly, I could describe my experience here similarly. As I might say, "frothing at the mouth". Meet the owners, Alfred and Yvette. A sweet couple who took a bold step to bring us earnest coffee-drinkers the authentic, Cuban versions. They deserve to be recognized for their efforts. Starbucks, you don't stand a chance. The floor to ceiling, smokey-colored outside windows give the appearance of not being open. Don't be deceived. Push the door open and be pleasantly surprised. Bright, spacious, clean, and cozy, the interior is decorated with colorful, Cuban-themed memorabilia and murals. There is lively Cuban music in the background. The friendly faces give off vibes that are joyful, and uplifting. And then, there is the wonderful smell of freshly ground beans and strong espresso. Take a slow, deep breath. But even before you remember to take a second breath to blurt out your drink order, there are the plump, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies that you can't help but admire, strategically placed in a small pastry display. Fye! Next to the cookies, if you are lucky, lie the guava-filled pastries with a buttery, light flakey dough. Very Cuban and oh, so delicious. Allow your inner temptress to take control of your usually sensible brain. Seeing these guava pastries, caused my knees to go weak. I grabbed the four still remaining to share with family. Consider yourself unlucky if you are behind me in line. These were amazing! Cordito: This hot drink starts with 3.5 oz cup of espresso traditionally brewed in a Moka pot, with sugar already added. To that they whip in 3.5 oz of your choice of milk. For me, who tries to avoid sugar (unless, unfortunately, it come in the form of a guava pastry), they brewed some espresso without the sugar. It took maybe 5 minutes longer, but that's ok. My choice was whole milk, but they have low-fat alternatives as well as non-dairy options. On a nearby side table, they offered a stevia-monkfruit blend in packets that I could add myself. I was thrilled to make it exactly to suit my taste, and was it ever delicious! The Cafe con Leches contains sugar also, but more milk than the Cordito. Mr. B is not Cuban (but does pride himself on his cha-cha moves from time to time). This is what he ordered. Unlike a "real" Cuban, he declared that he will request less sugar the next time around. And yes, there definitely will be a next time. Please add this to your bookmarks or make a quick U-turn and indulge right now. You are welcome.

First time trying coffee here and was EXTREMELY PLEASED! I tried the Cafecito con Leche. I was going to add sugar but the young man behind the counter suggested I try it first. Wow, the coffee flavor really comes through, and yes, it was a naturally sweet delight. Service was excellent, friendly and professional. Digging the Cuban salsa music filling the sound waves too. I also purchased a client favorite Oatmeal chocolate chip cookie; Delicious. Saving my guava cheese pastry for tonight. Dig the Silver "Thank you for supporting my small business sticker" * small things like the Pink Pastry take out bag and hand-written thank note on the bag, are extra small touches that go a long way. I'll be coming back soon, thank you Espumita

Was in town and wanted to find a nice coffee shop, and Espimita stood out to me being a Cuban Coffee spot. So my girlfriend and I figured we'd give it a try. We stopped in behind 8 am, parked in the back, and then headed on in. Immediately I saw and felt the Cuban vibes, as if I'djust stepped.pit onto the streets of Havana. With the street mural of Cuba on the left side of the shop, the neon lights, steets signs and palm plants throughout. And or the photo area on the right, where the couch looks like the front of a car straight out of the 50's or 60's. Iced Vanilla Latte w/Cinnamon Iced Vanilla Latte Staff was really helpful and were able to answer all of the questions we had. The coffee was also really good and the decor makes it so, this is a place I can see people wanting to kick back and just hang out for a bit.

Great place for authentic Cuban coffee, as well as other great coffees, and pastries. The owners as well as their staff are so friendly and welcoming. Great place.

One million stars of if I could. This place is amazing, the owner is so friendly, the location is clean and smells so yummy. Located on the corner of magnolia and Van Buren, it has open glass storefront that allows so much light into the business. Inside the smell of yummy coffee and the baked goods. The owner is so nice, he is patient, always up for conversation and gives good recommendations - he does not make you feel rushed and is such a decent human being. This is actually our third time going and I figured I needed to do a review!!! Okay cookie - amazing. People please don't hate on oatmeal - especially chocolate chip oatmeal. To die for. Seriously don't sleep on it, has right amount of gooey but also right amount of crisp, and chocolate throughout. Cubans Pumpkin Latte - I've had iced and hot at this point. Very good both ways. Could not drink it at normal hot level due to a recent surgery so he had the barista Jesus turn down brewing temp so it was warm but not super hot. Very nice and considerate. My friend made her own drink which I am going to post on here, soooo good. Regular latte, had hazelnut syurp and chocolate sauce (they have the good gharadeli) - her drink was served hot and was very very good!!! So my fellow Yelpers consider this place - let's keep businesses like this alive. They have good drinks, good food, and the employees are good people! Also shout out to Jesus the barista for allowing my friend to pester him and watch his coffee making skills! Very sweet man.

Cute, friendly, spacious, comfortable, welcoming spot. Love both the Cuban and the Christian vibe. I loved my Cafe Con Leche, and there are many other coffees and lattes I want to try. Will be back!

My daughter and I really enjoyed this new coffee cafe. Customer service was wonderful, very helpful. Pastries and many coffee options, who doesn't love a good, strong cafecito to start their weekend morning off? We both ordered a 16 Oz latte, strong, slightly sweetened (perfectly) with oat milk and regular milk; fabulous!! Wish we ordered a pastry, maybe next time. Beautifully decorated with Cuban decor. We will be back!

This place is very darling and the ambiance is welcoming and warm. The car seating area is so cute and a great photo op spot. The service was great and you can tell they take immense pride in their work. I got a cortadito over ice but I do think it would have tasted much better hot. The ice melted quickly making it very watery. The coffee is as many stated STRONG and bold. It's personally not my favorite as I prefer a more smooth cup with a little less kick but that's just personal preference. Overall a great local spot to get a taste of something different.

Two cafes con leche. One with regular milk and one with oat milk

I've been wanting to stop by Espumita for a while now so I could get a cafe con leche for my boss. I was able to go today and the staff greeted me right away. They heard it was my first time and one of the baristas gave me a sample of their Cuban espresso with whipped sugar. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but I really loved the flavor of this espresso! So I decided to not only get my boss a cafe con leche, but get one for myself as well. They have different pastries and cookies from local vendors and saw a gingerbread cookie I had to try out. It was chewy and delicious. They have some holiday drinks right now in addition to their regular menu. So happy I stopped by and will be coming back!

It's like they say... you won't always be everyone's cup of coffee. And this definitely ain't ours. $18 for 2 coffees, mind you one was 8oz and the other was 12oz. Coffee tasted like water and sugar with a hint of caffeine. The 12oz had an extra shot of espresso.. couldn't taste it, but paid for it. Service was quick and friendly and the shop was cute and clean. But definitely won't be back, Starbucks is cheaper( which really shocked me).

Their coffee, tea, and baked goods are fantastic, but the main reason I love this place is because it's very cozy and the perfect place to read, study, catch up with a friend, or go on a date. They have a special, themed menu that changes every month. There is almost always seating available. They have a small book exchange, often sell local art, have cute merch, and just opened up a bakery right next door with extra seating. I'm kind of a snobbish third-wave coffee person and although this place isn't trying to be that way, it still is my favorite spot because of the overall vibe, how genuinely kind and down to earth the baristas are, and how comfortable it is. A lot of coffee shops are so brightly lit and trying to be hipster still in 2026, but this place is just kind of homey and the classic cozy coffee shop we all want to go to. So if you're a hardcore coffee connoisseur and are looking for the highest quality coffee, this might not be your spot. If you're looking for something with yummy drinks and baked goods with a chill environment you'll be very comfortable in, this is 100% your spot.
