The staff is friendly and there's usually only two baristas, so when it's busy expect to wait a bit. I really wanted some coffee after getting done shopping at JCPENNEY. It's really convenient, with it being centered in the mall. The area surrounding it is your typical atmosphere you would expect at the mall: busy. I took a look at the menu I and decided to get the churro latte drink, which is one of their signature drinks. The barista was very customer service oriented, asking me what size and what milk. I went with oat. She let me know that the cold foam added to the churro latte drink had diary in it. I was okay with that. My drink did not take long, waited less than 5 minutes. I took a sip. The coffee is definitely pretty strong. More to my liking. I also didn't taste the churro flavor, it tasted more like cinnamon. It also left me jittery for a few hours after, which I didn't like. I still would definitely come back and try their other drinks, like their matcha! read more

aurrr em gee! I came for the first time completely clueless about what drinks they had and let me tell you that i am amazed with the drinks and service we had received. I ordered a hazelnut ganache latte with vanilla foam which had the perfect level of sweetness where as my sister got a hojichan (?) latte with brown sugar and cinnamon. Although it it's a bit crowded on the outside, you can still hear the baristas explaining the menu and calling out the drinks. It was my first time getting a matcha from this place. I can actually taste the strawberry which is not common in other cafes. The baristas made the drink so quick for how good it tasted. OVERALL : Reborn Coffee has a couple of different locations, but I figured I'd try this mall location since I stumbled upon it while shopping at the mall! This location is a smaller shop, with a small, focused menu of the basics + a few specials / seasonal options. There were also a some pastries in the display case. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked about drinks on their menu, and the drinks came out fast. It was pretty peaceful and not hectic compared to Starbucks. I tried a drink that wasn't on their core menu and it was great for a little pick me up at the time, but I do wish the flavor was a bit stronger. I think I would want to try out a different drink next time that is on their core menu instead, and/or perhaps a matcha. PARKING : Located in the mall (kiosk-type shop) so you'd just park in the big mall parking lots outside and go into the mall! FOOD/DRINKS : I got one of their "Midnight" lattes that were on the board separate from the core coffee / matcha menu. The cashier explained it to me as a Lavender Latte with a Vanilla Foam on top. Drinks are made to order. This particular drink was light but I'm glad that the coffee still shone through and wasn't too watered down. I just wish the lavender / vanilla flavors were stronger! I remember trying and liking the chaga matcha at Reborn pre-covid so I got it again this time, but I think I've had so many matchas now that this one just doesn't hit the same. Granted, it has chaga so the infusion of that as well as cacao, cinnamon, vanilla, and monk fruit sweetener creates a discoloration and a peculiar flavor. Matcha is definitely the main one but the other ingredients detract from it. I prefer pure matcha but if you're looking for an even healthier and nutritional alternative, then this is worth a try. What I did end up loving, although it wasn't my drink, was the Churro Madness. The cinnamon flavor was addictingly good and I think it even had a cream top. What was odd though was that it was a summer signature drink but we were able to order it... in mid-winter. I think that this a sign to make it a permanent item on the menu. read more

I decided to try this coffee stall in the Tyler Mall since I've never had it before and it had good reviews. The menu is pretty expansive, but I always like trying a special or seasonal drink. I opted for the Rose Pistachio Latte, which is a latte with rose syrup and pistachio milk! I've never had pistachio milk before but it was not as full bodied as say oat milk or whole milk is, therefore the latte was not as creamy as I expected. The drink was not super sweet and very floral! I liked that, especially the rose petals which the barista asked me if I wanted them and I said of course. The espresso itself was bitter, in a good way. Apparently, the machines are from South Korea. The service was friendly and fast. I did ask for light ice and still received a large amount of ice. I asked for this not to try to get more drink, but because I was going to have the drink in a couple hours and didn't want it to be watered down (which it eventually was). The drink was $7.50 and for the price, I would not get this again, however I'd love to try one of their non-seasonal lattes or matcha. read more

I'm offering my perspective on this place for those who enjoy drinking craft coffee. I've heard of Reborn coffee and have wanted to visit the Brea location. To find out Reborn Coffee operates a number of locations, mainly in the LA & OC area. As far as the Tyler mall location it is in the center of the mall outside of the JC Penny. The location takes over what use to be Coffee Bean's location. As far as coffee goes in Tyler mall there haven't been any alternatives to Starbucks until now. For my first visit the staff still looks like they are still setting up operations. The barista who made my drink was very nice and the drink came out quickly. For drinks I just went for a simple vanilla latte. As far as taste it was really good. Exactly what a vanilla latte should be. Not too sweet the perfect balance in taste between vanilla and coffee flavor. I would say the vanilla latte itself was 5 stars. For those familiar with the coffee landscape in IE it was as good as your Arcades, Condoron, Augie's ect. For me I would like to come back and try some more flavors of coffee before making my final verdict, but so far so good. read more

I love this little coffee joint in the center of Tyler Mall. They've been here for quite some time and have a discount program tied to the cash app. They have hand made matcha, unique coffee ideas, mushroom coffee, plant based alternatives and of course the standard cup of coffee. Staff are usually friendly and go out of their way to make your drink amazing. Personally, between this place and any Starbucks, this place is the place to go hands down.
