I'm writing this shortly after completing my move from Shrewsbury, MA to NYC and honestly can't say enough good things about these guys. I would highly recommend these guys and if I ever needed a move in the area would always call them first. Yury was especially helpful on the phone and made sure to have several follow-ups confirming my dates, answered all my questions, and was generally very professional and responsive. My long distance move was completed over 2 days - one for pickup and store in their warehouse overnight, the next to meet me at my destination in the morning. It was a flat rate at a fantastic price, much lower than I had heard some of the really large moving companies charge so that was a sigh of relief. Pick up - unfortunately some crummy, rainy weather but the crew was fantastic. We had initially discussed a team of 2, but 3 actually came in to speed up the packing. MJ was super nice and great to talk to as we were getting everything moved. I tried to prep everything as best I could for them by taking apart my big pieces and of course there is still a lot of furniture wrapping and protection they do. Even being on the 3rd floor with no elevator, they had everything done in just shy of 2 hours, super fast. Delivery - the delivery team got to the city super early (nearly 3 hours early) and got a great spot ready to go. It was an especially windy day and snowing in parts of MA so I know it wasn't the easiest drive for them. Unfortunately the building was pretty strict about not starting till 9am but the guys stood by till we could start. Again, major props to Alex and Doc who were awesome to work with and really made the day less stressful. Alex was especially fun talking to as we worked through getting stuff off the truck. Once again we were done in under 2 hours, but I will caveat that I asked them not to reassemble the pieces I had taken apart the day before. When all is said and done absolutely nothing was broken, even my leftover glassware that I tossed in never expecting it to make it. The only thing that even had a semblance of damage was minor scratches on top of my dresser, which the top is a cheaper material and honestly I have stuff on top so it won't even be noticable. After having many bad experiences with movers since 2004, I was not looking forward to another move. After reading the great reviews on Yelp, we decided to give Esquire a try. Wow! From the first contact we had with Yury his response was prompt and very detailed. He answered all of our questions before we booked the job. No gimmicks and no surprises. On 1/16/17, Alex, Gabriel and Alex moved us from our two bedroom, 2nd and 3rd floor condo in Dracut to a POD located on the South Shore. First sign this was going to be a better experience than any we've had before was a courtesy call 30 minutes before the job was set to start to let us know they were tied up in traffic. Other movers had just left us wondering when they would arrive, not Esquire these guys are true professionals. Alex, Gabriel and Alex arrived at 8:45 AM and promptly began protecting the main entry way to my building, my doorway and my railings in my unit. Then they started moving like machines getting all boxes out. These guys are fast and efficient! The best part and what sets them apart from any other moving experience that we have had is that they protect all of your furnishings before loading them into the truck. Alex (1) was even kind enough to tell us a delicate candlestand table might be better off in our car if we could take it due to the fragile thin wooden legs. (Any other mover would have taken it not even told you if it did break in transit!) Gabriel was strategizing on how best to protect and transport the items to the truck and even took the back door off the hinges so our ridiculously big couch could be walked out down the deck stairs. Alex (2) was fast and diligent moving everything. He had great strategy getting the mattresses and box springs down and out too. All in all they packed us up and we went down the road to our storage locker on property and loaded that up and then off to the South Shore to the POD! The POD was so efficiently packed if my husband and I were left to our own devices to load it we probably would have needed two PODS. Give this company a chance for your next move! I needed to move on the day of Christmas Eve while my husband was in the hospital recovering from major surgery. I needed to do it alone, so I called Esquire Moving for help. Booking was super simple, seamless and personable. Without much advanced notice, I submitted an online inquiry and was amazed to get a phone call within 30 minutes, along with a clear cost estimate, a commitment to move me on my requested date, and flexibility to take on additional work of packing or extending the time period as needed. My move was not simple. After 10 years of living in a place, one can accumulate a lot of stuff, the magnitude of which cannot be appreciated until moving. I didn't want to take all of it with me to my new place, but I didn't have time to sort it all out neatly before my move date. The Esquire Moving Team took my changing requirements in stride. We actually scheduled my move in phases. The first phase was moving the priority items from my over-stuffed 2-bedroom apartment in Jamaica Plain to my new 4-bedroom condo in Jamaica Plain, and also taking the large pieces of furniture I was giving away to my friend's place in Medford (the drop-off of which they handled without me). The second phase happened a few days later, in which we completely emptied my place and my over-full basement (and filled the large truck a second time) with stuff to take to the condo, stuff to take to another friend's place in Somerville, donations to take to Goodwill, and stuff to put into storage for me to deal with later (which they brought to their storage facility). With the exception of the things that went to my new condo, Esquire Moving team handled the rest of the drop-offs without me. Moving is stressful and I don't want to do it again anytime soon, but Esquire Moving made it relatively pleasant for me. I appreciated their professionalism in setting expectations, scheduling the work, being on time, handling change requests with flexibility and openness, and masterfully packing and transporting my belongings to multiple destinations. In addition to being top-notch movers, they are nice people and I enjoyed working with them. I 100% recommend Esquire for handling your move... I am totally blown away and satisfied by my experience with them. Emailed them for a quote about a week before my move date. Yuri responded to me within 24 hours and was the only one out of 5 movers I sent quote requests to who could handle my move on such a short notice (of course I booked). Received emails confirming my booking during the following week which were nice to get as hoping that your movers are going to show on the day they said is always stressful! Movers were scheduled to arrive at 8:00am. At 7:45 I heard a truck backing up to my door. Alex, Andrey & Lesha were nothing but professional and friendly. Alex asked for a quick tour to see what was moving and communication was excellent. Once the tour was done I got out of the way to let them do what they did best! These guys really hustle..but also took the time to wrap all my furniture with moving blankets and plastic wrap before moving them into the truck. I have to say that I was very impressed that they were able to handle even the heaviest and most awkward of my furniture with ease and zero complaints, especially being brutally hot and humid outside. They packed every inch of the truck like total pro's and I was impressed with how each piece was secured and placed with thought and care. It only took them just over 2 hours to empty my former 2 bed, 2 bath townhouse. The move into my new house was seamless. They placed everything where I asked them to and even offered to move things if I didn't like where they were located. All in all it took them about 5 hours from time of arrival to the time the truck left my driveway for the move to be complete - and I am so grateful for their hard work. They worked fast & effectively as a team, but also took the time and effort to take the utmost care of my belongings all the while being professional and friendly. MONEY WELL SPENT!!!! This company absolutely deserves 5 stars rating. I moved from Boston to Vegas and they made this move smooth and affordable. I had unpleasant experience with other companies in the past so first of all I short listed local companies in Boston and visited them. Yes, I wanted to see how they work before signing up for anything. Esquire Moving was able to show their trucks, their packing and their people. I did not want to deal with someone virtual with nice looking web site and super cheap rates, but in reality just a broker sending my job to a third party loading and unloading my belongings many times on the way of 2700 miles. After seeing their location, after seeing the manager handling my job in person I got more confidence about these people. I still was worried up until the moving day, called them few times to make sure that everything goes as planned and every time received respectful and confident answer. They came on time, loaded my stuff super quick leaving me 2-3 extra hours for other tasks on that crazy moving day. They delivered everything to Vegas on time and unloaded quickly. No hassle, no delays, no trouble! I followed their recommendations in how to prepare for the moving day and that made things much easier. Esquire Moving is super professional, accurate on time and reasonable priced. My advice to everyone considering this company - if you find some virtual company offering you a cheaper rate, try to estimate price breakdown (truck, fuel, labor, etc.) and think if you are ready to deal with virtual people you will never see and have no idea who are you paying to. Esquire Moving is real and open to show you how they work. For me this was a decision making point. Thank you guys! One more thing. I saw few complaints here about boxes and tape left by them - seriously is it a big deal to throw away some trash? Really, they are movers, not cleaners. I have never in all my moves from around the country had a group of movers that literally ran the way that these boys did!!! We were wrapping up our move from Denver to Boston, had just driven for 3 days, and were maxed out on our physical and metal threshold. I thought I was going to be slick and found some dirt cheap movers on craigslist that I had booked for unloading our truck in Boston. When they arrived they appeared to be in NO physical shape to accomplish this task and were drunk as skunks so, although stressed as getting our unload complete, I still had to send them on our way. In my panic I went to yelp to try to find an emergency day of mover. This was a task that I felt would have been next to impossible on any given day and without hope seeing as it was the day before thanksgiving. Esquire Moving was one of 10 I called that actually answered and were quick to get us setup for an appointment that day. My original appointment was for 8pm and they actually called me at 4:30pm saying they called in some guys to get us taken care of in 30 min. WOW, JUST WOW!! They're price ended up being the same as my drunk movers. (shame on me for not just going this route to begin) The guys arrived and from the moment they got out of the truck literally were on a steady sprint!! They quickly covered all areas with pads that they might bump to keep my unit safe and were able to unload my VERY packed 16' truck of chaos into my unit. The unit was up a flight to the entrance of the building and up 3 flights in my unit and 2 guys got it done in ONLY 3 HOURS!! I'm not sure where Esquire finds these super-humans that can keep the pace these guys did but I am forever grateful that they did!!! Not to mention after a long drive like this they were wonderful eye-candy to have lol. I will definitely use them in the future for my upcoming business needs and will suggest them to everyone I know. read more

I can't say enough good things about this company. We were moving in August during covid, from NYC to Boston! I received a quote - which was very reasonable, had regular contact with the moving company's owner Yuri prior to our move, and when we needed Certificates for the move he quickly emailed those to us, and as promised called and emailed us a few days prior to the move. So, far so good I would definitely say. The movers ETA was from 8-9am....they actually called at 7:30am and said they were early and could they begin...I was thrilled that they arrived as early as possible! They were very professional and polite and came in began loading boxes and our belongings into the truck - they were VERY EFFICIENT and VERY CAREFUL with the fragile packed items and other belongings. I was absolutely in awe of how quickly and effectively the crew members were!!! By 11am they were done packing up the truck and in route to Boston! The only issue we had was with their ETA arrival time in Boston which was 4-5pm. It took a bit longer than was estimated and I had to call the owner, because the driver/crew was not answering my calls. The Owner called me back and apologized for their delay, and informed me would be arriving at 7pm, and by then it was getting a dark outside - but the crew members still worked as efficiently as they loaded to unload our belongings. We had them assemble the bed and as one member did the assembly, the other finished bringing in the boxes and etc. we were done by 9:15/9:30ish. Besides the later arrival time, everything with the move went WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!!! I would definitely recommend using Esquire Moving and Storage for your upcoming moves!!! Found esquire on Craigslist and checked reviews on Yelp, so I had high expectations, and they were all met! We were helped out in a local move by Denis and Igor, and cannot recommend them more highly. Booking was easy, using the website. I called the day before the move to confirm the appointment, and the conversation was quick and professional. Denis and Igor met me at the ABF terminal south of Boston. They were stuck in really bad traffic, and called to let me know. I was able to relax a bit getting to the terminal, so I appreciated the heads up. Once they got to the terminal, they took only 30 minutes to move everything out of the ReloCube and into the truck. They moved quickly and efficiently, also making sure everything was secure and safe. I couldn't believe how quickly they worked. I was in for another pleasant shock when we got to the apartment building. They used several tricks to move large amounts of stuff very quickly, which was really helpful since we couldn't get exclusive access to the elevator (construction going on in the building). The move would have taken more time if they hadn't pulled out their bag of tricks, and they could have taken more time if they wanted to. However, they busted their butts moving, and we were done within the estimated amount of time, despite delays from waiting for the elevator. Nothing was damaged at all, either our belongings or the apartment, and these guys were working really fast! I recommend them wholeheartedly, and would not hesitate to use them for our next move in Boston! Tips: Try to get exclusive use of the elevator if you can. Otherwise it may be best if you act as the elevator operator, getting it for the movers when they are ready to move a load up and holding it while they are putting the things in your apartment so they can run back down quickly. read more

I got married to a doctor pursuing his fellowship at Bronx 1.5 years back and moved from India to USA. After the completion of his fellowship, we had to move to Boston. And my husband being extremely busy, all the moving responsibilities fell on my inexperienced shoulders. A lot of people (including my husband) warned me that moving is one of the most stressful experiences of one's life and I was absolutely dreading it. Zeroing in on a mover also turned out to be a very difficult job. However, after getting quotes from all the famous movers, I happened to come across Esquire moving from the internet and wrote to them for a quote. Not only were they quick in getting back to me with a quote, they were also very prompt in replying to all my questions about moving and packing up my stuff (I had zero experience of moving). I was very impressed with their before sale service. On the day of moving, they arrived promptly at 7 am as promised. Unfortunately, our apartment building in Bronx was a big let down for them as we had only one elevator and there was no provision to reserve it for them to move stuff to the truck. They ended up wasting a lot of time waiting for the elevator, but they were extremely professional about the whole thing, no frustration, no rudeness from their end at all. I was told by my husband and other people that I should be mentally prepared for at least 2 - 3 furniture items breaking. With my husband's love for glass study tables, I was mentally prepared for more breakage. However, I was very pleasantly surprised that the move with Esquire resulted in no breakage at all. My experience with Esquire was amazing! Since I inquired about their services they have been nothing but professional and always proactively following up to see if I had any other questions. I worked with a couple of people for the overall process leading up to the move and they were attentive and willing to reach you in my preferred method of communication whether it be call, text or email. Thank you for your help Alina, Valerie, Anna and Lesi. Once the move came along, the movers called me 30 minutes out to confirm their imminent arrival. They parked, came upstairs and assessed the overall items and got ready to work. Brayan B and Bladin were uber attentive and very quick to start with loading boxes and then dismantle, wrap up and load the bigger items. Be aware that deliver could happen the same day; or a day later like in my case as we had a shared load on top of our dedicated load. That was alright as we had a long drive and movers rested and got to work early the next morning. They brought all the big items down, assembled and moved the rest of the things into the house. They will make sure to get all items into the house and they have tools ready to either remove a door or frame to make space for those key larger items that might need some extra room. But after all is done Brayan B and Bladin out everything back to how it was and did an overall walkthrough to make sure everything was where it needed to be. They we were able to fix a couple of items that needed repositioning and overall they had great customer service and charisma. We recently hired Esquire to move us from a 2 bedroom townhome in Salem, MA to a single family home in Carlisle, MA (with a 9 night storage requirement due to the separation of our two closings). I had read many positive reviews on Yelp and gave them a call and, from when I first spoke with Yury, I had a good feeling about the company. Yury was friendly, efficient and also offered pricing that seemed very reasonable both for the move and the storage. When we went to confirm Esquire as our choice, we filled out the official booking form on their web site. This was the only snag. Even though I had correctly inputted our delivery date on the form, the confirmatory email from Esquire had the incorrect delivery date and I missed catching the mistake when I reviewed it. In any case, the pick-up day went incredibly smoothly with their crew of 3 men and they handled our home (corners, banisters, etc) and our moving items with extreme care and with lots of padding and shrink wrap. I had zero concern that anything would be broken or dinged-up. It was within this 9 day window that we discovered the mistake on the delivery date. Despite clearly being double booked for that "correct" delivery date, Yury ended up working his magic and was able to personally be there along with two other men in the crew to make sure we we're moved in as expected. As expected, everything was delivered in perfect condition and they worked efficiently to reassemble the larger items that they had disassembled back in Salem. I cannot begin to say how phenomenal the Esquire team was from start to finish. On the first call, Dasha walked me through the entire process, including having me go room by room to give a complete inventory so that they could generate an accurate quote. The day before, Juliette called me to re-confirm all of my equipment and items, which helped as I found I had packed more boxes than I had initially thought I would and worked with me to get an updated quote so there were no surprises the day of the move. I received multiple calls the morning of the move from the actual moving crew, first to tell me when they were leaving their office and their estimated ETA, and then once again when they were a few minutes out. Upon the walkthrough of all my belongings, the moving lead recommended to me that they send a fourth person to the location I was moving into, as it was a third story walkup. He thoroughly explained that it would be an additional hourly cost, but would likely save time and therefore probably end up being a wash costwise. The move itself was seamless. Amilcar, Diego, Jorge V., and Petr transported our belongs quickly, efficiently, and carefully - and as they said, in less time than originally quoted. The suggestion to add a fourth person made the move-in process go even more smoothly than I expected. In the end, the cost came in right within the estimate. The entire team was friendly and professional from start to finish. Having done many past moves on my own, hiring Esquire to handle the move for me was money well-spent, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to hire a moving company. read more

Awesome awesome awesome!! 2 guys showed up right on time, and wasted no time in getting to work. They were fast, kind, professional, efficient, well-prepared, and REALLY went the extra mile for me by helping me put my boxes in the correct rooms and closets. (A different moving company I used in the past just dumped all my boxes and furniture in the closest room to the door, because that's what was convenient for them. When I asked them to get it done right, they begrudgingly agreed but complained the whole time. But not Esquire! They really live up to that name of royalty!) I was most worried about a few select pieces of antique furniture, but everything was wrapped THOROUGHLY, and I felt like my stuff was being well taken care of. I had put plastic wrap around an antique cabinet that has glass doors, and without missing a beat, they made sure it was up to standard! They opened it, taped up some shelf hooks on the inside that I'd forgotten about, rewrapped it, AND wrapped it in blankets. I was VERY impressed with how thorough they were. Also, my two window AC units were well taken care of - they put them in thick contractor trash bags and taped around them to seal them up, so I didn't have to worry about the water leaking on the rest of my stuff. And lastly - the price is REALLY great for the value and work they put in. They offer a discount if you pay in cash, and they also offer a discount if you're a returning customer. My two guys even offered to cover the cost of a few rolls of tape they used! I was very very happy with how well they treated me! Will definitely be using this company again!!! read more

I want to give a shout out to the Esquire Moving team. From when I requested a quote, I want to say the guys name was Yury (apologies if his name is misspelled). I was moving from my studio apartment on North Street in the North End, to down the road to Causeway St 1 bedroom apartment. The quote was reasonable and I my apartment required movers insurance and I emailed Yury and right away he responded with the proper documents I needed to submit to my new apartment. I decided to go with Esquire not only because of the price, but also for the customer service. I told Yury my date of May 31st and that I preferred the earliest time and 8am was available. The week before I received a reminder email of my move and what is expected of the process. The week of my move, I received a call to confirm everything. The day of my move, I received a call from the drivers to let me know they are 20 mins out, they arrived 7:50 which was perfect. Two guys (MJ & Yerzhan) were very nice and polite. They went over the process with me, signed a few papers and away they went to move my stuff in the truck. They wrapped my bed and other things as well. They were fast and efficient with my belongings. We headed over to my new apartment and they unloaded my stuff, assembled my bed and everything was great. Moving can be such a headache but, I will go with this company the next time I move. The total at the end was very reasonable and within the quote that Yury gave me. I have to start by saying I LOVED this moving company!!! Their service were on point. From the start of me calling to request their services to the moving part, everything was smooth! What I also liked is that they were clear about the fact that they have no fees or extra charges. It's just the rate per the hour unlike other companies! I knew exactly how much it would cost and it was accurate! They were super flexible despite their busy schedule. I had an issue with the moving in time to my building, I called to ask them if we can move the moving time from the morning to the afternoon. I called one day before the move! And even though it was the first of July when things are crazy busy, they still were able to accommodate me! I was so appreciative of that! The crew I got were Ryan and david! Ryan called me couple of hours to let me know when they were coming. I asked him if he can let me know 15 mins so I get things ready before their arrival and he was very responsive! When they arrived, we had a situation with the street parking. These two didn't let that get in the way, they were super flexible and got to work right away! They were super pleasant, efficient and great! I'm addition, I had couple of big items I wanted to throw away, they helped me with them. They also helped me fix my bed frame! They went above and beyond to make this move smooth and easy for me! I've moved a lot, but by far this move was the smoothest and it's all thanks to them!
