I got a 75 minute hot stone massage. I read in her page how healing her massages were and I suffer from chronic back pain and an arm injury. A massage typically helps greatly. I explained to her about my injury, the pain, etc.. the massage consisted of her running hot stones all over my body, which was lovely and relaxing but it was just soft motions over my skin. There was no actual massage.. no fingers or hand actually rubbing my muscles, no stretching my legs or arms to loosen them up. My back actually hurt being stuck in the same position for the length of time I had laid there. If you are looking to have warm stones swiped across your body in a very relaxing environment.. this is your place! Very relaxing, very zen. If you are looking to have a massage to help with your muscles, etc.. this is not the best.

I have had both from Kim, and the deep tissue uses hands and fingers to really get into my muscle and fascia layers, and the hot stones are used for an overall muscle release.

Moving around the room, he was opening drawers hard and sitting down hard. By the end, I asked if he wouldn't mind slowing down as he was rubbing my next and it was making me anxious he was going so fast! I'm not an anxious person. I thought I could maybe relax the stressful massage off in the steam room, but as I mentioned above, it was off. The real ugly: The final insult to injury - 18% service charge plus gratuity. Total cost - $323 for just barely 80 minutes of a sometimes painful, ultimately stressful massage. The front desk was uninterested in my experience.
