We walked in here after getting turned away from Posh, and now I won't go anywhere else! The entire staff was amazing and kind, and were super accommodating to us being indecisive. Andy did my nails and they look great! The whole salon was super clean, quiet, and relaxing. They definitely gained a repeat customer today!

Writing this on behalf of my wife, she said this place did the most amazing job on her nails. If fact it's been over a month and her nails are still intact.They looked amazing from the start,they way they took their time and the service and quality they provided made them look so amazing. Definitely will go back anytime in the area, so to all the ladies looking for a great nail salon. so I work out of town and I was needing getting my nails done so I called and checked to see if they took walk-ins and they said yes so I get there. They were not friendly at all very very rude. Didn't know how to do anything when it come to nails, the guy that did my nails was rude rough and he cut me with the nail fall. It cost $82 to get my nails done. Are you serious with just gel color over priced don't recommend them at all. read more

I love it here. Amanda gives great advice (she got me to do dip with tips instead of acrylics and it's sooo much better) and does great work. The salon itself is gorgeous and relaxing. They always have HGTV on (the way to my heart). Prices are fair and location is convenient. I will keep coming back! read more

i went and got my nails done and he yanked my hands and used the grinder on my nails until i wanted to scream. he was so beyond rude to me and did nothing that i asked. not even the bare minimum like putting the right color on my nails that i had picked out!!! both of the guys in the building where yelling at me when i said i did not want to pay full price for the crappy job that they had done. they proceeded to strip my nails of the wet gel polish and threw me my hands back and said he never wanted me to come back! thankfully he does not have to worry because that was the worst experience of my life do not recommend. read more

Horrible customer service: while they do nails fairly well- their customer service is VERY poor. I purchased a $50 gift card for a friends birthday so we could go get our nails together. The owner/manager personally loaded my card a few days prior but when we went to use it- it did not work. She refused to honor it even though she remembers me purchasing saying that there is no way she could have made a mistake in putting money on the card. I even showed her the -$50 on my bank statement. She kept stating I used it. Which I didn't. She was just down right rude. At the very least treat your customers kindly and don't accuse them of trying to lie and cheat. I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend you do either. read more

I have been going to Andy for quite some time now and he is the best nail tech I've had thus far ! I always leave so happy with My nails ! Everyone in the shop is super friendly , talk to you like they've known you for forever , joke with you , laugh ! It's such a nice experience! I started going to Essence Nail & Spa when they first opened. The spa is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. This is the only nail place I've gone to where my nails don't break or chip between visits. The quality is superior. I will no longer go anywhere else. read more

went to this place for the first time and had the best experience i've ever had getting my nails done. the people were nice. the lady who did my nails was phenomenal. i had a messed up nail and instead of covering it up and letting it get infected like most places would've done she told me i needed to let it grow out to let it heal. if she didn't say anything i would've gotten an infection. this place is amazing and my new nail place for sure !! read more

It was obviously really easy for us to agree on heading to Pure Luxe, there was a check next to all the boxes required for a good mani. We arrived at around 1PM on a Sunday afternoon and the receptionist greeted us right away. We put our names down and explained what service we were looking for. I got a gel manicure and my sis got a gel pedicure and her acrylic nails filled. We were handed a box and colors and told to have a seat until our name was called. The place was very girlie, there were chandeliers, pink and grey walls (love!), and feminine art up on the walls. They also had a great playlist on. It was really cute and inviting. My sister was up first and I was welcomed to sit next to her in the pedicure area while I waited for my name to be called. We chit chatted and laughed with her nail tech and until my turn was up. The experience was great from start to finish. My tech was a sweetheart, very gentle but got the job done. If I'm being honest, my nails were a wreck. She made them all very even and my cuticles look fabulous. I choose a bright, berry-ish red and it's perfect. She was really quick too. My sister and I were both very impressed with our visit to Pure Luxe. I'll definitely be back next time I need some girl time or me time. Everyone was really friendly, the final product was wonderful, and the place was clean and fun. Pro tip - check in on Yelp for 10% off your service!

But WHILE I'm getting my pedicure, the nail tech started doing the manicure. no hand washing or exfoliating scrub or cuticle care AT ALL. dude is coughing and coughing, he's wearing a mask at least. but it was SO AWKWARD. I'd ask questions, he wouldn't answer. just intermittent coughs. dude should have stayed home with that nasty cough. so my no frills pedicure is over, I make it to the table to get paint on my nails but now I can actually see them and they look like crap. A lady whom I assume is the manager comes over and asks if all is ok. I show her my nails. she says something to tech and he starts aggressively removing the paint. the paint wasn't the problem-- my cuticles looked lIke crap and should have been pushed back and trimmed so that my manicure could look right. basic manicure 101, right? that's step one. The person who did my pedicure comes over and goes "oh that's normal, cuticle push back would have been $10 extra". I'm like ok so $10- no one told me that. Captain coughs a lot apparently was so ill he couldn't tell me that. The guy at the main counter is right next to us. he's so busy scrolling his phone he never says a word. I assume he's the owner...he was useless. the fact that they charge extra for the basics is wild, but they never bothered to tell me that for $10 more I could have had a normal, nice looking manicure. The brand new nails already looked like they'd been outgrown by weeks and already needed a fill in BEFORE I EVEN WALKED OUT. I was super upset to hand over almost $200 for the 2 of us and my nails looked like garbage from the start. I have never in my life had such a busted ass set of nails. here's what they look like less than a week later. DONT GO HERE. If I lived anywhere near there I'd have pitched a fit until they were fixed but lucky for them I'm 500 miles away. This place obviously doesn't give 2 sh1ts abouts their customers. the ONE star is for my no frills pedicure just because I liked the person. if I could give my manicure person and management -100 stars, I would. on future trips, we won't be coming back to UNhappy Nails. zero stars. do not recommend. Update: this place actually lashed out at me on social media and tried to blame me for this, saying we came at closing time and they told me up front it would be rushed. A- I called ahead. First pic was day 3- which is exactly how they looked as soon as they were done. Which I expressed before I left and it was never fixed. Now at day 11, these nails are almost off, my hair keeps getting under them.... They should have looked awesome when first done and lasted at least 3 weeks before having any kind of worn out look. So not only did they fail my nails, they failed at customer service- TWICE. Oh-- and did I mention they referred to my wife and my sister, for no apparent reason? Homophobic maybe. Idk. But I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. What could they improve? Everything. Vibe? Haphazard.

I had never had my hair colored and usually got it cut at Great Clips. I trusted Claudette completely and asked her to do whatever she thought would look good. BOY did she do an amazing job! The result was my profile pic. After that, I tried to save a few $$ by going to a Groupon place. It was OK - but once the highlighting was repeatedly done, I was essentially a blond. NOT COOL. So I returned to Claudette and have never stopped going. Every session with her is perfect. Always something a little different and she always takes her time and does things right. NO SHORT CUTS.
