So quickly after I posted the last review, the owner reached out to me and apologized for what happened. It was a really nice gesture and he did assure me that they have higher standards of service and that they will be working to make things right. He adjusted the cost of the move, which my boyfriend was happy about. I also used the $6 walnut stain pen from amazon and was able to fix (hide) most of the marks on edges of the bed, and make the scuff on the nightstand less noticeable. Moved to Tacoma and boyfriend booked this company. Only needed to move a bedroom set but needed disassembled and reassembled (to fit thru doors). Condo is a bit of an inconvenience in this regard. Company was prompt and courteous, and I was ready to be super happy with them but I was disappointed that out of two night stands and a bed with storage (Queen, 6 drawers) and mattress: mattress cover was stained with grease in one spot (the mattress was wrapped?!), large scuff on one nightstand, smaller scuff on the other. Several marks on the drawers. I booked to avoid the hassle of doing this myself. When I initially bought the furniture a lot of it came from the store unwrapped so I thought movers would have a similar level of care (what's the diff? In particular the nightstands came originally without any covering so I expected them to travel without incidence). It was mostly a waste of $600. I was quoting for 3men and truck at 228$ per hour + 1 hours (228$) of travel fee. I call them three times prior to make sure there is no other fee that will surprise me at the end. I spoke to Jason and Steve who is the owner of the company. They ensure me that the quote is accurate and no other tax or fee will be added. They told me not to worry and everything will be straight forward and smooth transaction. Obviously not happening after the crew finish the work. The crew start working at 9am and finish at 12:10am and then call the office for the final charge. The move is from Storage to unload at residential home. I thought it would be easy and smooth transaction. Just labors and truck. Nothing complicate. The branch manager call for the total of 1235$ which combine all fee that is not even in the quote. I believe this is a Shady and scandalous way of doing business. I should believed some other bad review on yelps and Google. At the end they lower the price to 1081$. The calculation that I got from my calculation is 3hours and 10 Mins + 1 hour of travel fee = $950. I didn't use any of packing material. I only use the labors+truck. This actuall pisses me off. I just paid them 1081$ just to get it over with. The only good thing about this transaction is Erick and his crews are very curtious and polite. They work fast. I have another loading coming in from out of state. I think I better use any other company. They promised me of 10% discount. You have to be crazy to use them again. I am quite generous w/ ratings and it takes a lot for me to not give someone 5 stars. I thought to give them a 3 star as they can do a lot better (I will come to that later) but as per Yelp rating guidelines, 2-star means "Could've been better", so 2-star it is. The move was scheduled for 2PM and original estimate was 3 hours, so I had elevators and loading docks reserved for both my apartments from 2PM to 5PM. I waited till 2:30PM and when no one showed up, I felt someone could at least reach out to me with an update. I texted my point of contact after waiting for 40 minutes stating that the elevators could only be blocked for a certain period of time and post 5PM, the move will become slower due to loading dock not being available (see screenshot) I was informed that movers still hadn't finished the previous job - which was understandable if they could reach out to me and tell me that, so I could re-book the loading dock. I requested an estimate arrival time so I could plan my things around it - no answer. Movers showed up at 3:45PM! Yes, almost 2 hours late! When we arrived at the new apartment (which is less than a mile away from my old apartment), exact same situation happened as I expected! The loading dock was occupied by someone else and we had to wait. After talking to lots of management people over the phone and making multiple requests, I was able to reserve the elevator just for us. Moving stuff from the truck to the apartment (with a reserved elevator) took 3 hours!! I was quoted for 4.5 hours when original estimate was 2-3 hours! I paid the entire amount but when I was on phone with the owner, I mentioned if I could provide a feedback and said that I am getting charged for 2 additional hours because movers did not arrive on time and moreover, I had been mentioning this already. I want to emphasize that I paid the amount first after the complain because I want to clarify that my complaint is genuine - not only I had to pay more than $300 extra, I was drained out of energy, ended up leaving some stuff due to hurrying and the whole idea of not doing any work myself did not fall in place. In return, forget an apology, the response was a long pause and "I see. Thank you for business with us." I did tip the movers well because they did their best. I'm requesting reimbursement because the move took longer than expected and damaged my house. First, Established Moving gave me an estimate that misrepresented the actual cost of the move. After I described a list of specific items over the phone, I was told that a 2-man crew could complete the job in ~2 hours. When the movers arrived, I did a walk-through, and they confirmed the 2-hour estimate. In reality, the job took most of the day, costing $900, because the movers had to search for tools and bring another worker. Second, the movers left serious dents in the walls surrounding my stairs as they transported heavy items. I've been waiting to write a review for Established Moving & Storage to make sure I wasn't as upset as I was when they moved us. We scheduled our move for 12/30 (showing up between 8 - 9 am) two weeks ahead of time on 12/17. Unfortunately, the forecast called for unusual weather conditions the days before, during, and after our move. I called Monday, 12/27, to confirm that the move was still on and was told it should be, and if things changed, I would be notified 24-48 hrs ahead of time. I was asked to have the driveway and walkways cleared of all snow and ice, to which I bought a small surplus of ice melt to ensure everyone would be safe. Tuesday, 12/28, I got a call from Established trying to see if I was still moving, which highly confused me as I called the day before, on my own, confirming. The guy who called threw me off, so I asked him, are you making this call to cancel because we are still moving if Established was still moving us, and I explained if you are canceling, I need to know now because I will need to follow up with my agent. We had sold our house and bought another and would need to work out a rent back on our previous residence we were still living in. Low and behold, Thursday, 12/30, comes along, and 9:15 am, I am calling Established to see where they are, and I was told they weren't putting any trucks on the road. This really upset me as I had not received a cancellation call 24-48 hrs ahead of time. Again, I was the one to call the morning of the move, not them. I was told they would probably be out tomorrow to move me. I, as politely as possible, through tears, explained I would be moved the next day because they didn't even have the decency to call me that day. Not to include, I was now in a terrible position, and I was supposed to be out of the house I had sold by 9 pm 12/30; this had us scrambling to get out the agent on the line. Friday, 12/31, they showed up with two guys as they quoted us and a truck that didn't fit all of our stuff, forcing us to move the rest in an SUV on our own. When the movers showed up at our new house, they didn't seem to care for the essentials. We ended up having mud tracked through the house, more specifically all over our new carpets, in our brand new, never been lived in, home. While the guys that moved our stuff were very polite, we ended up having boxes of broken glass and broken Christmas ornaments. To top it all off, the two movers moving our stuff chatted amongst themselves about a move the day they did the day before, not once, but twice. When I settled up with Established, I brought it to their attention - they asked me if there wasn't a way for the guys to make sure they didn't track mud in... like that was my job! When I asked about the job the guys did the day before, I was told it must not have been a job they did with Established. (I have to call BS on that one since one thing these guys said was they didn't even finish the move the day before until 9 pm.) So no, I did not submit a claim with Established for my carpets or broken items, because quite frankly, if they handle that anywhere close to the way they handled our appointment time and date, our household goods, or our home, I don't trust we'll get money back, or our carpets cleaned for quite some time. read more

I wish we had read all these poor reviews before we booked these people. We have moved many times over the years for various opportunities both with moving companies and by ourselves. This is the first time ever that we scheduled with a moving company and they DID NOT SHOW UP. As I write this, we are sitting stunned among our boxes scambling to find a mover as they indicated they would not be able to reschedule our move for two more days. Husband, George is the one who contacted them and these are his words: They didn't show up. Surprise! Read their reviews. Don't do business with these people. Last Sunday I went to some internet site and requested a mover - filling out the addresses, volume of stuff, desired moving date, etc. I got text replies from 5 or 6 movers, one was Jason from Established Moving. On Monday I asked him more questions and on Thursday I asked what time the crew would arrive on Saturday. Jason said "between 8am and 9am." Today, Saturday, I texted Jason at 9 am asking if the crew was on the way. No response. At 9:30 I called their office, they did not have us a booked move. They said they had tried to call me on Friday for information, however they did not leave a voice mail, or text me. Very disappointed . $2,000 later and my sons tv was broken in the move. Even though the amount doubled from the quote they gave me, that wasn't the main disappointment. Steve was in touch with me until I messaged day of move and after. I had a few questions. For instance , the movers didn't want to move empty fish aquarium. Things were thrown in boxes with no padding. Lamps upside down. My sons tv was broken from the move. I messaged Steve and I have yet to receive a message or reply from anyone. Hard to find good movers and this is a shame because I won't use their services ever again. And I wouldn't recommend them. I will also add that the movers took no covid precautions. Only 1 out of the 3 wore mask. They also used my children's restroom at our new house without asking. There was no soap or anything in that bathroom. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! The owner was very nice when my wife scheduled with them, and they even called to confirm the night before. But after a week full of anxiety (closing on our first house and having a deadline to move out of our condo) I was nervous they had forgotten us after 2 hours into the 3 hour window. We waited an hour and a half past the 3 hour window they provided for them to show up. There were no phone numbers that actually reached a live person to try to get an ETA. When we scheduled this, we were told there would be 3 guys and they would disassemble and reassemble everything we needed. They sent two guys, both had disabilities - which we don't discriminate - but being charged by the hour cost us more in the end. They worked from 4:30pm until about 1am. They put things in the truck in such disarray, there was not room for all of the stuff at the second stop. Once we got to our place, everyone was exhausted so my wife and I helped unload. Because of the exhaustion, they asked at the end if we could assemble our bed frame! We had no tools because they were packed up and didn't get picked up at the second stop because they ran out of room. I hired Established Moving & Storage and the customer service was great right up to when I paid them. Within 5 minutes of them leaving my new house after the move I noticed my headboard for my bed was damaged and I immediately called to notify them. I was told they would take care of the issue immediately and to email relax@establishedmoving.com. I did this and included photos. That same day I turned on my TV for the first time and also notice that was damaged on the screen. I sent another email notifying them of the broken TV. A few days went by and I didn't hear anything so I contacted them and was told Mitchell (General Manager) is in charge of claims and would call me tomorrow. Mitchell never called so I reached out again and Steve told me he would call me tomorrow. Steve never called so I reached out again. This time I spoke with a very rude gentleman who was extremely defensive when I explained I felt like I was getting the runaround. He told me he would email the claims form tomorrow or by Monday at the very latest. Monday arrived and still had not seen the email with claims form. I called again and a woman told me Steve was busy and that she promises the claims form would be sent that day. I did not receive it as promised. This company will purposely dodge you in hopes that you will let it go. I filed a complaint with the BBB and that actually prompted an apologetic email from Mitchell (General Manager). He formally sent be a legal document saying they'd pay $375 and this would paid within 30 days. I accepted the offer even though that doesn't even cover an 1/8th of what they damaged, but to this day I have not received compensation or communication from Mitchell. He's ghosted. I paid a $1,508 total for the move. I also tipped the movers $120, which I now feel like was not deserved at all. This company was very responsive and friendly when they wanted my business. Now they have horrible customer service and act nothing like the company I originally hired in the beginning. BEWARE and look elsewhere. The movers were fantastic, professional, quick and efficient. Thank you Kelly and the two guys! BUT the firm and bosses were awful. They overcharge me with more than $100. I was offered $387 for 2 hours and $129 for additional hour charged by quarters. The whole job took 2.5 hour from 2.15 pm till 4.40 pm. I was charged $558.75. The office called me at 4.15 and said seems they will finish at 5.15 so if they finish early you will see refund in your card. Not only there is no refund but they don't answer my e-mails. I called the office and Mitchell hung up on me after I explained once again that I lived in a building with elevators and I had to schedule the elevators for BOTH buildings. I called back and was transferred to someone in the dispatch. Dispatch said movers will arrive between 1-3. I texted Jason.... no response to this day. At 11:15 the movers arrived-AFTER I rescheduled the elevator in the first building.. So annoying. * When the move was complete, the office accountant gave me a total of $833... Absolute not, I asked her to explain the calculation and she flipped a switch and became Rude and Condescending. She was calculating the total by the 9 am arrival time. I told her that they arrived at 11:15... she said "well its 4:15 now so I'm charging you"... $654 for a 1 bedroom with no extras.... I hired this company. I was told the "team" would sow up in uniforms and that they would be experienced. They showed up looking like temp employees off the street. The truck was beat to hell. I live in an apt in Renton. They loaded my belongings and then took them to the elevators and LEFT ALL MY THINGS IN THE HALLWAY and did not take it to the truck. Meaning many of my family heirlooms and 2 boxes of family photos of my great grandparents and all the photos of my children's lives. My 2 double sheep skins were stolen. An irreplaceable Autographed photo of my grand father with JFK!!!! Then we went to leave to my new place and their beat up truck, with no name or phone number on it, broke down. I had people ready to hang things on walls. Set up electronics etc at my new home. For 6 hours we waited for them to deliver. It was 9pm when they showed up. I had no help with anything as all the people I HIRED NEEDED TO LEAVE!! This was a disaster! The worst move ever. The fact that they left my belongings in stacks in a hallway was unacceptable and wrong. I was not given any discount for the problems. Hired these people for a move, they were not professional. They missed the move data on multiple occasions. They would call to cancel at 5:00 PM, I ended up waiting 3 days for them to show up. They movers are not professional and managed to dent, ding and scratch every surface on all my furniture. Furniture corners were banged and dented. These guys agreed to move us during a snowy week, and despite having seen the snow and evaluated our home a day prior to the move, they showed up two hours late and without any chains on their tires. Because of that, they got stuck at the bottom of a hill leaving our neighborhood after loading the truck, and had to call for help. eventually someone showed up to salt the street and got us all on the road again, but once we made it to our new home, it took another two hours for them to show up with our stuff. It turned out they'd stopped to get tire chains and got stuck in the snow a couple of times after not putting them on properly. This all would have been understandable, but they charged us their regular hourly rate for all that extra time they spent not being prepared for winter weather they knew was happening a week ahead of time. We got charged a full grand more than we should have been. Further, none of them bothered to wear masks and I have no idea if they were vaccinated. Just an awful experience and felt like a scam. Leaving this review on behalf of my mother. She requested a 2 man crew and truck for her move from her storage unit to her new house. She drove to her storage unit (1 hour) to meet them at the scheduled time of 8am. She waited for about half an hour, and no one showed up, so she called them. They claim they tried to confirm with her by phone 15 times, but she didn't pick up, so they didn't send anyone. She had her phone with her the entire time, and had no missed calls. They also confirmed they had the correct number. The moving company said they can reschedule for 11:30, but she had a bed being delivered during that time. Once the bed had been delivered, she called them and let them know she was free. They said they had a crew in the area, but it was a 3 man crew instead of a 2 man, so the hourly cost would be more. My mom was frustrated at this point, and agreed, just so she could get out of her storage unit in time. Moving is stressful enough when the movers show up on time. It's very unprofessional to make an appointment, and not keep it. I also feel like she got tricked into getting the more expensive 3 man crew, and ended up spending more money than she wanted to. read more

They were very professional. I got a quote quickly. I had to even push back the date as we were still closing on our house. They didn't get upset or bother me about it. They just told us when you ready we will be there. When we called back to reschedule they got us in on the day we needed! They even worked with us on the deposit. The 3 gentlemen who came to move my items were very efficient and polite. They didn't break anything. It felt almost like they were friends that came over to help us move. I was planning a move 50 miles away and got a quote for just the few large pieces I couldn't load in my truck, and required two movers. I was moving from a 930 sq ft apartment, so I just had a few basics (no boxes). I was quoted an est of $500 by Michael. I called again the day before they were to be there just to confirm arrival time and estimate. The guy I spoke with confirmed again. The movers showed up in an Enterprise rental truck that was HUGE. I asked if they rented a truck. The mover said they did. He said the company doesn't really have enough of its own trucks so it rents them sometimes. Now, the couch alone took them 40 mins to get out of the apartment and into the truck ( I'm being charged for labor by the hour). All of my furniture total was loaded in about an hour and 40 mins. We drive the 50 miles to the new place, they ask to come in and see it before moving things in. They said before they can unload the truck they need me to sign my credit card info out. They stood there like my stuff was hostage until they received payment. One of the guys gets a guy named Jaime on the phone and hands me his phone after speaking in Spanish to the guy. Jaime told me he'd need payment over the phone or I could give the guys cash. I was like no problem. He said my total is 936.00. I was like whoa, that's almost double the estimate. We needed movers last minute because I broke my foot. I recieved a phone call from Established Moving & Storage because they had a last minute cancellation. We had a team of two movers. The movers worked their tails off to help us get our stuff out. They arrived on time and were nice people. The complaints that I have are that they did not seem to care very much about how they treated our stuff. They also went to park their box truck in front of my neighbors house and totally took out a pick-up truck load worth of branches off my neighbors tree. I know it was this much because they left it there for us to deal with and did not even acknowledge that it happened. Before the crew left, I had a conf call with the crew and the "Manager" and they admitted liability for damages with agreement to pay via their "Reimbursement policy" which does not exist. their policy ti to get your payment in full so you have no leverage then ask that you send an email to a random email address. We hired this company within a month of our move and everything went so smoothly! From reaching out to them about pricing to the very end of the move, we were so happy. The guys who came to load/unload our apartment were amazing and so nice and VERY FAST (I forgot their names, unfortunately) We hired a different company for long distance moving & it was horrible, so the fact that this move went amazing with this company was a huge relief. I do not recommend Established Moving (this "Carrier") because they have not acted in a trustworthy manner after being notified by email, text, and telephone about the physical loss of my personal property, which this Carrier is directly liable for. Therefore, I do not recommend doing business with this Carrier. In February, hours after my move with this Carrier (with the agreed-upon services comprising of packing and moving services), I discovered that an expensive office chair was missing. Some of my personal property had also been poorly packed and damaged, but the most valuable item that had been converted was this office chair. I timely notified the Carrier of this fact within 24 hours by phone. A remedy was promised orally by an agent of the Carrier, however, after the conversation, the Carrier chose to willfully ignore my good faith efforts to obtain to a remedy. The Carrier was unresponsive to my reasonable efforts to notify them and to follow up with them about the personal loss. My attempts spanned over one week, including texts, phone calls, and emails. The Carrier still remains unresponsive. As stated on their website, the Carrier is "liable for physical loss of . . . any article from external cause while being packed, unpacked, loaded, unloaded, [or] carried." §1. At a minimum, the Carrier is legally liable for "$0.60 times the net weight of the lost or damaged goods." §9(a). As an Article under their responsibility while they packed, unpacked, loaded, unloaded, and carried, the Carrier is liable for the physical loss of my personal property. At minimum, the remedy is $0.60 per pound for the lost property. I am legally entitled to at least this remedy. However, this Carrier has not treated this case in a trustworthy manner. As stated above, the Carrier has been completely unresponsive to my reasonable efforts to notify them about the legal duty that a good faith, reasonable, and well, uh "established," Carrier would be fully aware of. A good faith company would remedy this situation and be responsive to communications about converted property. A bad faith company likely would ignore efforts to obtain a remedy, seeing as it's unlikely that an ex-customer, especially one who is now primarily based in a different city, would invest time and money to bring this in small claims court. I'll leave it up to readers to decide whether this Carrier is acting in bad faith, and whether this Carrier is trustworthy. read more

This company only cares about the dollar and how much they can get from you. The price they tell is significantly different than what you end up paying. And forget about communicating with your movers. one of mine got cranky with me when I asked him to be careful with something.. as if I were asking too much. I have not heard from anyone.. The damage to this table has left me so heartbroken because it was a twin piece to another table to which was given to me by a person in my life who is no longer here. This company is insensitive, unresponsive and without a doubt the most insincere people I've dealt with. It's really hard to imagine why I've not been compensated but clearly they don't give a damn. I was very displeased from start to finish with this company. I was told on 6/28 I put a $100 deposit down to reserve the move by Michael. I received an email confirming the move was scheduled for 7/27. 15 days from the moving day they tried to back-out. We were nervous by the short timeline and finding another mover. We expressed how disappointing this was. The owner said they would fulfill their contract to us. The day of the move they were scheduled to arrive 8:30-9:30am. After many excuses and more attempts to cancel our move they also tried to tell us despite having made a deposit, they never charged the card and would not guarantee the move. On 7/27 they told me they keep NO card information on file as I expressed concern for having all my information and not using it properly. They arrived at 5:30PM after us begging to do what they said. They loaded the truck and agreed to move the following day. Once moved, I was told the card "on-file" would be charged. The one they don't keep record of! Consider yourself warned. I was lied to at least 5 times by the 3 people I spoke with throughout the process. read more

I hired them to move a small 1BR apartment's worth of furniture plus 6 moving boxes. I was quoted 2 hours @$159/hour plus $159 flat by the owner over the phone after telling him I was in a 1BR on the second floor. He also personally assured me that his movers take extensive COVID precautions and would be wearing masks for the duration of the move. The movers took 5.5 hours, charged $1100, and had masks off about 90% of the time despite three verbal requests from me to put them back on. My property manager reached out to me to ask what was going on with them, as they were moving one piece of furniture at a time from my apartment to the truck, rather than staging all furniture by the elevator to reduce the amount of transit time as all other professional movers coming into the building have done. They also completely disassembled my bed, which has never had to be disassembled in any of the 3 prior moves for which I've had professional movers transport it, including into the same unit that I moved out of. WA state law (WAC 480-15-630) requires movers to provide a written estimate to *all customers* prior to a move based on on-site/video call inspection of the items to be moved, that then caps the cost of the move at 125% of the estimate except when supplemental charges are agreed to. I was not offered a written estimate at any point. I was told by their staff that they don't do pre-move on-site inspections to put bids in writing because of COVID, but WA Utilities and Transportation Commission Tariff No. 15-C (effective 11-1-20) clearly accounts for this by allowing video call inspection. The Bill of Lading that they asked me to sign at the start of the move was blank, which I later learned is listed as an indicator of a fraudulent moving company by the US Department of Transportation. As I unfortunately learned the hard way, this means that customers of this company will need to pay for however long the move ultimately takes with no upper limit. I had to be out of my apartment by the next day so I could not realistically stop the move once I realized that they were taking far longer than projected. After multiple calls to their office, they reduced my cost to ~$950. But after learning that their practices are illegal, I will be initiating a credit card chargeback and reporting them to the state. This company is taking advantage of its customers' lack of knowledge about the regulations around moving practices. read more

The movers came for Established Mocing and Storage, and ended up breaking the control panel on our new eliptical. clearly they tried to lift it up by holding on to it. When we got to the storage unit to let them on, i noticed it was broken and when i asked the mover about it, he said something must have fell on it.? really? They are movers, stuff should not be falling around in the truck. We took photos of it, in front of the movers, sent pictures via email to established moving . Never got a response from the owner or manger, John I believe it was. I called to confirm they got the photos and he offered to send claim form. Never got that. called again, they just did not care he didn't even apologize. Still have not been reimbursed for it, I still do not know if it even works, as our stuff is still in storage and we have no way of checking. Poor customer service. I read previous reviews and hired them because of them. Sorry I did so, and I still ended up paying the balance as they were leaving the storage. Juan and Andrew were phenomenal! I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with their care for my things. These fellas communicated clearly and worked seamlessly during the whole process which turned out to be a much bigger job than I anticipated. They had wonderful attitudes and stayed jovial and patient with the neighboring kids constantly looking at the truck and watching them work. I had challenging precious items to wrap and move carefully. A grandfather clock, large glass table, and many large framed pieces of artwork. These guys wrapped each one with such care, everything made it safely and was placed exactly where I wanted it. I honestly wish I could have tipped them more! My experience with Established Moving and Storage as a whole started off wonderfully. Customer service was lovely, scheduling was easy and the pricing was upfront. My one caveat was that they estimated it would take 2 laborers about 4 hours to complete and it really took much longer. This is based on the information I gave about apartment size etc. Evidently the folks who schedule do not actually do the moving so their ability to anticipate accurately is understandably not experienced based. I gave the owner this feedback and he really heard me. Bummer #2: the truck did not show up in the morning. I do not know why but somehow even though it was confirmed several days prior via phone and email, the truck and people were not there. I spoke with Mitchell, an owner and also John and they did a wonderful job of apologizing and making it right. Although later than expected, they sent some of their best movers and all was well in the end (although I wish I could've cooked them a steak dinner because they were on their 2nd job of the day and ours was bigger than anticipated but they did not stop or complain once!) I give them the highest ratings because #1 Juan & Andrew were wonderful!!! #2 I would hire them again, no question. #3 even though there were hiccups and they were kinda big, they were all dealt with in a professional and responsible way that left us happy in the end. The good - Easy to schedule - Called when on the way - I called and spoke with Edwin about the situation (below) and he offered to send another crew from 12 to 3 pm - Edwin called back to check on the second crew and we spoke again after the job was finished, I appreciated the communication and follow up - Mitchell and Fausto were fantastic and met the expectations set by my friend who had a great experience last year during his move. They were professional, handled my belongings with care, and worked diligently - If you decide to call these guys, ask for Mitchell and Fausto, they are awesome! The bad - No confirmation of move until I called to confirm the week of my move - The first set of movers were rude, disrespectful, and had a very bad attitude. (Details: All I had was a dining and living room furniture plus 15 boxes. I moved everything else myself. Jose asked how are you paying and once I told him it was cash, he made it clear he really wanted a nice gratuity. I was shocked because that has never happened in my experience but I let it go. When I asked him to tape up a couple of boxes that had been forgotten, he told me they would be secure and not to tell him how to do his job. BULLIES AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PEOPLE Unfortunately, the unprofessional and unethical manner in which the owners (Chris, Mitchell and Jojo) behaved attributes to the majority of the score for this company. The actual movers were fairly quick but it was a mixed bag relating to professionalism and good customer service. Long story short, I was given a quote prior to the move but Chris called me shortly before the move was almost completed and demanded an extra $250 more than what was quoted stating that it was based on a 'projected' amount of time that they thought it would take to finish. Chris went on to say that if they overcharged me they could reimburse me later (this would be a ridiculous way of handling business and I read another review elsewhere that said they did this to another customer who never got his refund). I declined to pay the extra amount and Chris told the movers to lock their truck and not give me my belongings until I paid what they were demanding. These men were threatening, demeaning and used bullying tactics to get their way. Chris was emphatic that I had paid a similar amount on a previous move but I have the receipt showing he was wrong (and I had forgotten that they tried to tag on an additional travel fee of about $125 that I had refuted and proved wrong for a previous move). For this last move I had to call the police and they finally came down about $150 but I think I was still overcharged. I can't stress enough how unethical and unprofessional I felt the people in the office were. Take note of all the other unhappy customers here on Yelp and the ones on FB. We scheduled out move weeks in advance and the morning of we're first bumped from morning to night and then at 3:30pm on the day of our move they called and told us they weren't coming at all. We paid exactly what we expected to pay and the team did a great job. We received text message alerts for arrival times and updates. The driver was great.
