I've been to Brazilian statehouses before but the meat here was packed with flavor! I especially love the Flank Steak! Staff was friendly and quick once the card was flipped to green. Just Wow! First time trying medium on most of the meats and it was absolutely gorgeous, the staff were friendly and dont get me started on the Fried Pineapple it was Elite! The atmosphere was nice and professional. The only downside was the pork and chicken which was just Okay but its a steakhouse so dont judge too harshly. Great experience and even better food and service! Came during Queen's Feast with my family (2 teenager boys and the hubby). They are all big steak eaters so what a better time than any to take advantage of the now offered, lunch reservations for selected restaurants during the event. We were offered so many different selections of perfectly grilled meats and my fav, the brown sugar and cinnamon roasted pineapples. The boys loved the filet and bacon wrapped chicken. The salad bar was my fav and the black beans and rice. The meal included strawberry cheesecake at the end which was perfectly chilled. Restaurant Week was a great opportunity to enjoy a Brazilian steakhouse for a "parade of meat." The meal starts with popovers and their cold item bar with salad, meats, and cheeses, plus soup. But the star of the dinner is the gauchas bringing different cuts of meats - ribeye, picanha, lamb, pork, sausage, chicken and more. Meat tended to come out in batches so it was wise to say yes, try everything and focus on what you like. The gauchas, servers, and staff were attentive but there were a few periods where I was waiting for the next round of food. As much as I enjoyed the meat the roasted pineapple was a treat towards the end of the meal - save room for that! The Restaurant Week offer included cheesecake. I went for my birthday and was excited as I never had a Brazilian steakhouse experience. The atmosphere was clean, and we were greeted upon entering. The greeter/server was very attentive and we couldn't wait to start eating. Unfortunately the food was below average. The meat had no flavor whatsoever, and the meat was completely well done. I never had meat so dry in my life. They bought out the steak, lamb, and something else and it was probably the worse cuts of meat I'd ever had. Absolutely no flavor and it was so dry I couldn't even chew it. I was so disappointed and sad because I wanted to enjoy it. We let the manager know and he still wanted to charge us $75. I kindly let him know the food was not up to par and he charged us for one salad bar and our drinks ($45) so we could leave. I felt robbed on my birthday. Still had to pay $45 to still go somewhere else to eat up the street to get good food for my birthday. I don't believe the quality is worth the price. I went up the street to fin and fino and paid the same price and the quality was a lot better. The manager also had issues removing the price from the bill after everything we said. On top of the the place was absolutely empty which should've been a red flag for me. I visited on a Thursday at 7pm. I stayed for about 30 mins or so before leaving for a new restaurant. read more

¡Delicioso! The meal was incredible and the service was UNSTOPPABLE! As the servers made their rounds with their meat swords, our plates kept piling up higher and higher. The salad bar was delightful and the chimichurri was the perfect complement to the garlic steak! The environment was bright and cozy as we went right after opening - our server pulled the shade right before we were seated. Well this is a first for me as far as rating of a Brazilian steakhouse. Sadly it was simply just 3 stars. Service was good. Staff was friendly and attentive. But the meat was just ok. Lots of the cuts were over cooked and lack of seasoning. The saving grace was the lamb chops. They were delicious and perfectly cooked. This place is smaller than a Fogo or Texas de Brazil. Booked a reservation through opentable for my anniversary after consulting with a sibling about how good it was 1-2 years ago ish. Before walking in to the restaurant, I received a text that our table was ready for our reservation. We walked in and told the front of the reservation and was immediately seated in a corner table for two against two walls, which as a result did not make use feel special at all. A young female waiter approached us and barely explained the instructions for the cold bar and seemed like she wanted to go home (which was confirmed when we heard hear complaining to her manager about how she wanted to go home since the floor was empty and not busy; we never saw her again after the initial intro etc). Quickly, the Cold bar with the cheeses and etc was fine, nothing special or noteworthy. The sides seemed lackluster. Nothing great about the cheese bread, mash potato, caramelized bananas, etc. The meats were generally okay. very salty and seemed like they would only serve the chicken or more unwanted meats first before serving the ribeye or any of the other more interesting meats. The bad. My partner and I asked for the ribeye, Beef Ribs, Grilled pineapple, and filet mignon. We were never served the filet mignon. The Beef ribs was the most fattiest/juiciest thing but in a really bad way. The worst of all was the medium Ribeye. My partner and I watched the waiter PRY and STRUGGLE to serve the Medium cooked ribeye to her. It tasted and looked like 2 day old reverse seared Ribeye. It was disgusting, i almost threw up for once when eating beef. The only decent highlight of the night was the grilled pineapple and the House Special Meat (this round meat with fat, but still super salty). First time in a Brazilian steak house so my idiot self didn't really know that it's a buffet styled bar with salad and rice and stuff and then meat that's brought out. Wasn't super hungry but the salad bar looked good so I opted for just taking the $28.75 salad bar instead of the $58.75 salad plus steak combo. I've wanted to try a Brazilian steakhouse while I've lived in Charlotte and I finally got the opportunity for restaurant week. The deal was 45.00 per person for 3 courses. The restaurant is pretty big but the cluster everyone in the same area of the restaurant. I'm not a huge fan of this but I'm sure they do it in order to serve the meat easier. The first course was a self serving salad bar. It reminded me of a Ryan's back in the day. I'm not a huge fan of self serving salad bars. The salad bar had lots of options including deli meat, fruit, pasta salad, and great dressings. Although I don't like a self serve salad bar concept, the Caesar salad was very good. Almost immediately, servers start coming around with meat on skewers. At times it was hard to understand what the meat was. There were also some meats like chicken wings that never came to our table. We tried most of the meats which were good. My favorite, even though I typically don't prefer red meat, was the bacon wrapped steak and their signature Pinchana. I highly recommend these meats. They also gave us grilled bananas, crispy polenta, and mashed potatoes. I really liked the crispy polenta! For dessert I got a plain cheesecake which was good as well. Overall this is a good restaurant for meat lovers and I highly recommend the bacon wrapped steak and pinchana if you go to this restaurant. Really wanted to love this place given the glowing reviews since it's been open. Service - amazing. Everyone was incredibly nice, attentive and courteous. At one point, I saw a server help a lady with taking her jacket off and placed it nicely on a chair for her. Very nice. We were frequently checked on and they made sure we had everything we needed and clean plates. Food - The food came out hot and the server asked us if we had special requests and happily obliged. Again, the staff was incredible. The food though, disappointing. Between all the red meats, they all tasted the same and overcooked. The lamb was unflavored and the chicken was undercooked. Best meat was the house special. The buffet was nice; some things were not labeled so we didn't know what some stuff was. Located in Uptown so parking can be difficult. I am not sure if the adjacent Embassy Suites validates parking. This is an upscale Brazilian Rodizio Steak House with a salad bar. There are plenty of meat options that are available and served by the staff. Simply just flip your card to green and let the fun begin. This is one of my favorite steak houses in Charlotte, the food is good, it is all you can eat, alcohol is not included but the drinks are amazing. I highly recommend their house infused pineapple rum shots which they do have bottles to purchase as well. The restaurant itself is a nice size, smaller than usual steak house but more intimate and the ambiance is similar to other steak houses with the classical music and dimmed lighting. The desserts are not included in the all you can eat price and frankly there isn't any room for dessert but I'm greedy. Their NY cheesecake is one of the best cheesecakes here in Charlotte. The pricing for this steak house is also the cheapest option in the Uptown area. read more

This is my first time dining out since COVID-19 and I must say that I really enjoyed myself. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive and kind. Not to mention they were social distanicing and ensuring the safety of both the staff and the patrons. Now let's get into the food. I walk to the salad bar and I was given a glove to get my salad which was so great. And all the ingredients were fresh ans delicious. Then the meats began to come to the table..all sorts of delicious meats of lamb, bacon wrapped steak ans chicken and sirloin and they kept coming and coming. And finished with a lovely dessert. Also I found out that if you park at Embassy Suites they valet your parking ticket. So my review is a little skewed because it was restaurant week, but in all fairness I will definitely be going back to try the full menu when I recover from the meat sweats! Had a guys night so a couple friends and I decided we needed "ALL OF THE MEATS" and we found the right place! Went in for late reservations on a Saturday and was actually sat about 20 minutes early, which was great. As with any traditional Brazilian steakhouses, the "Gauchos" (waiters) walk around with skewers of freshly grilled/roasted meats in huge varieties, and come right up to your table and slice it on your plate. The picanha and the garlic beef were amazing, along with the bacon wrapped chicken. There is also a salad bar, but we figured our meats had eaten enough veggies for the both of us! They also have table side Caipirinha service which is the Brazilian version of a mojito, and very tasty! read more

We used to frequent the other Brazilian Steak House a few streets over. This one hands down is so much better. The staff is phenomenal, always on point exactly when you need them. While still being Extremely friendly and kind. Food was outstanding and consistent each time it came around to our table and the drink selections fabulous ! A must try is their in house made pineapple infused rum ( cachaca). It is so good and worth the trip for. Would highly recommend this place for a nice night out. Ezekiel the GM is FABULOUS!! (More attentive than other staff at other Brazilian steakhouses I've been to) The meats were all very good and tasty. They offer such a good variety. The pineapple is a must and they do it so well! Let me start with noting that I grew up in Brazil and upon moving to the US, I lived near Newark, NJ where there is a huge Brazilian community and a lot of Brazilian restaurants. So I'm pretty picky about my Brazilian barbecue! Chima and Fogo de Chao are fine but definitely not authentic and do not satisfy my cravings. I was really missing Brazilian food and wanted to introduce a bunch of friends to authentic rodizio style barbecue; this did not disappoint. This is definitely the most authentic restaurant of its kind in Charlotte. I had a table of 8 and they set us up in a cozy corner that almost gave us our own room. COVID precautions were great - plenty of separation between tables, masks required while walking around, masks and gloves required to approach the salad bar. Starter - they bring a basket of cheese breads. Yum! The caipirinhas were outstanding - fresh and sweet and come in a variety of flavors. The original, passion fruit, and pineapple were great (didn't try any others). The meat was delicious - all of the cuts you'd expect. The sausage was amazing, picanha is always great, my friends loved the filet. Note - they do not bring out chicken hearts to the general public since I imagine most folks would turn it down. To my Brazilian folks and lovers of Brazilian food: just ask for it. They have it and will make it fresh for you. Salad bar / sides - fully stocked with everything you'd expect. The staff was extremely friendly though and I didn't even have to get up to go to the salad bar. They noticed I was getting some farofa, rice, and beans for the table and told me they'd make me fresh ones to bring over especially for us. It was awesome. They made me fresh farofa with eggs and bacon, rice, beans, fried polenta with cheese, fried yuca, mashed potatoes, and fried bananas. After dinner, as customary, they offered coffee or espresso then brought out a tray with the available desserts (remember you eat with your eyes here! It's an experience). We had the chocolate lava cake which was great. Finally, we were offered a Spanish digestive liquor, which they mixed with a delicious passion fruit pulp. Pretty awesome. My party loved the experience, we will definitely be coming back! Great spot for a special occasion. Tried this Brazilian steakhouse as something different to Chima. Decent ambiance and service. Salad bar plentiful, fresh with lots of choices. As for the meat, overall a disappointment. The garlic sirloin, pork sausage and flank steak were all very good, but everything else was terribly overcooked. I typically like all beef to be medium rare but just about everything was either medium or on the well side. Filet was even medium well which is criminal and the lamb was gamey and tasteless. On a more positive Note the table all seemed to rave about the grilled pineapple, and My teenage daughter liked the huge desserts. I will go back to Chima and pay the extra $5 pp for better meat. read more

I am originally from the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, where the Brazilian BBQ is the main dish and we eat beef for breakfast, lunch, dinner. I am reviewing this based on my childhood experience and as a Brazilian BBQ "home chef" myself. This place is the ONLY, again, ONLY, FULL AUTHENTIC BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE in the Charlotte area. Forget about the fake ones (that I will not mention here but y'all know who they are in the uptown area). If you are looking for a real, authentic experience, this is the place to go for a real churrasco. The owner is from the same town I am from and they have managed the Fogo de Chao churrascaria before it was sold to an American company that completely destroyed it. The meats are sourced from HIGH quality farms in the US and they are cooked and carved the PROPER way a gaucho will do. The sides and the salad bar I don't care much about, because as a true gaucho, I am here for the meats. However, they are both great. The wine selection is outstanding and they have a great house wine that is REALLY good (I am picky about my wine). They have private rooms and I have hosted two events here. They did a phenomenal job making sure everyone was treated beyond well. They brought way more food that we could consume! And save room for desert. The flan is phenomenal! read more
