My favorite thing about this store is the variety and quality of most things. I love vintage jewelry so I was excited to see so so so much behind the counter but that's where it stays. Stacks and stacks of trays piled on top of each other behind a glass case so not only can you NOT see what they have on the trays but the people working are so rude and dismissive and the prices on the jewelry OMGGGG there's zero way to resell because they're like "eBay prices" and they will only pull one or two items NOT TRAYS out at a time and they're staring at you while you look. It's just so uncomfortable. Literally all of their cool glassware and antique trinkets are behind locked glass so you can't pick things up and look at them, feel them all the things you want to do when treasure hunting. It's just a very uncomfortable vibe in there and everyone is grumpy and rude. I like to buy large quantities of jewelry when I can and there's just no way to do that here. Prices are outrageous. There's one nice guy he's super young and nice I think it said the shop belongs to his grandparents or something but he was pleasant on my one interaction with him. Sad because like if that was my jewelry I was consigning I would be pissed that 90% you can't see and is burried underneath tons of packed trays of jewelry so no one will ever see what they have. read more

Plan to spend some time looking up, down and all around. Items range from traditional furniture to Disney collectibles to random, unique unexpected items. The longer an item is in the store, the lower the price goes. We stop in periodically since inventory changes regularly. If they are busy, service will be minimal but at a slower time, grab someone to dig into the jewelry cases or collection of bags. There's definitely hidden treasures in here. read more

Love the store but the owner is extremely rude. If you try to ask questions she is dismissive and abrupt. If you ask to look at something in one of the cases she acts like it is an inconvenience. I don't know why I'd never been in here before. I love antique shopping and I'm always down to look for gently used furniture. This place has some of both. I went in to look for a dining room table and maybe some new decor. Unfortunately though I did find a few things I kind of liked they weren't being enough for the space I'm looking to fill. The great thing is that the items inside are constantly changing so you never know what you'll find. China, glassware, figurines etc along with couches, chairs, tables and more. Horrible customer service if you're looking to consign with them. The woman Owner will NOT return messages left specifically for her. We'll be checking out the shop again soon--I wouldn't be surprised to find that they're closed, or going out of business very soon. The website email is no longer valid, and when you call the phone number...it either rings and rings, or you get a screeching electronic sound and then a disconnect. If you don't give up and keep calling, you may get thru to some poor soul who's trying her best to cover her boss's patootie and will take a message (name/phone#/regarding what). And you'll never get that RETURN CALL. What you're told is that the owner is busy working with the movers (Tues/Wed), and she's done scheduling any further pickups for the week. Can you say, "FIRE SALE"..if you're looking to shop, now may very well be the time. But I owe it to myself to revisit this establishment and see just what the heck is going on. read more

This business requires an in person meeting with photos of the furniture you are consigning. I made the long trip to their store and the store clerk didn't even bother to look at the photos. The store offered a pick up service and said they would call with the schedule for the truck. Not only did I not hear from them for weeks but they also put me off every time I tried to follow up to see what the pick up schedule was. LOUSY customer service. Down right rude. If they didn't want my business they could have at least had the balls to say so. Don't bother with these losers. Their store is so packed with junk it's a wonder they are still in business. Looks more like a storeroom than a store. Wouldn't be surprised if they were out of business already. They should be! read more

The owner of the store is beyond the rudest person I have ever met. Her name is JoAnn. I have never given a bad review to any one but this woman deserves one. The store appears night and Tori is very professional. I signed a contract in June and stopped in to see what the status is. I was greeted by a crazy woman screaming at me saying "You signed a year contract" you can't get your items. I asked if she could as least speak with me since I happen to be on that side of out with my mother. I wanted to take a expensive picture out of there as she had marked it down to where it was almost a give away. I reside in Scottsdale and thought it would do better in a different environment. She called me a F***'in C***t ! She obviously has mental problems so I took it out as she was screaming at me awful things. I ended up donating to Animal Shelter to receive proceeds instead of this insane crazy woman. Please be careful when doing business with JoAnn. read more

Great people and great items. Consigning here they are picky which keeps them from having any junk. They know what a fair price is for the items. Why buy junk from China that will fall apart in a few years? Here you can get a gently used quality piece of furniture that may have a patina from being well loved. The stuff flies in and out of here so i checked back every week when furnishing my home. read more

I took some of my items to Estate Resale in Surprise to be sold. After several months I picked up my unsold items, closed my account and asked that they send me a check for the sold items. I had to call four times to ask for my money, and the fourth time I was told "to stop whining". Really? The ladies who work there are very nice but the bookkeeping department needs to be changed. read more

Very bad and unbelievable experience with Joanne, the Manager/Bookkeeper! After a visit with photos and several follow-up calls from me regarding a pickup that we discussed for my couch, I was finally given a date. Since I never received confirmation of delivery, I called to confirm and ask the approximate time of pickup. I at last reached Joanne and was told it would not happen that day and was given a subsequent Tuesday pickup date. On that next date (the actual day of the date since I had not heard a word), I once again called Joanne and "politely" asked for a time of the truck arrival. I had rearranged my calendar again and had moved the couch out to the garage for ease of pickup. Instead of explaining why she could not send a truck AGAIN, she proceeded to yell at me and said, "Where am I suppose to put your couch?" and then said she could not deal with me and hung up the phone! I was dumbfounded and am still scratching my head??? I'm confused ... aren't I the customer? She made me feel as though her poor management skills were my fault! So rude and unprofessional!!! She apparently was very stressed out but not an excuse to take it out on me! These are tough times for all of us but this is not customer appropriate behavior. Seller beware! read more

This store was glad to take our items numerous different times, but they make it very difficult to get your money after they sell. Often had to try several times before they finally paid. The last set of items we never did get our money. The "person who does that" was conveniently out..... at least four separate occasions when we showed up at the store. Leaving requests for that person to call us proved worthless as they never called. I've never been so frustrated with a business. I feel they are purposely trying to scam people. I've always been satisfied with this place. The place is well lit and doesn't have the musty smell of some consignment stores. The ladies that work there are welcoming, helpful and friendly. They would even give you the next price when the date is close to the asking price. I always find what I'm looking for at a great price. I would recommend to check out this place. Hit or miss. The things move out fast so you have to go in frequently to stay on top of what they have. Great prices and very clean. A wide range of furniture in many price ranges. From what i saw all was gently used from older style to modern. I have learned not to wait on anything or it will be gone. Service was excellent! Have bought a leather sofa and two recliners which were Lazy Boy no more than a few years old, Stifle lamps, coffee and end tables. Love there decorative items as well. My furniture was picked for sale in January. I was told a contract would be mailed to me by Sarah, the manager. It was not. I heard nothing so drove to the store and was told items sold & a check would be mailed to me on 2-20-18, I was unable to pick it up. I confirmed my address with Gary on 2-14-18, and went home to wait. It is now 3-5-18 & the check has not arrived. I called the business a couple of times, the last on 3-1-18, when Sarah told they did not include my apartment number on the address. They obviously addressed it incorrectly. Sarah told me at that time she could not stop payment on the check. I would rather have given the items to a charity than go thru a consignment store and receive nothing. read more

I've been buying from this company's original 99th & Bell location since 2003 when I was beginning to furnish a winter rental house in the Sun Cities area. For a very moderate cost, I found: sofa, arm chairs, dining set, lamps, prints, accessories, and dish/glassware. The quality was excellent and the staff was very nice. Delivery on the large items was reasonable, and occurred right on time, as promised. Now that I live in AZ full-time, I've consigned some things that were extra around the house after my move from CA and purchased some additional items. I've been very satisfied as both a buyer and a seller. Everything featured here is clean and fresh and looks great. It's the best resale store in the West Valley--and I've been to several. read more

I love consignment stores, estate sales and auctions for one reason....DEALS! If I wanted to pay retail prices, I would go to a retail store or shop online and purchase brand new with the bigger price tags. Don't get me wrong, I do like to shop for quality items and sometimes I will purchase brand new and pay that brand new price. However, when I walk into a store such as Estate Resale, and see their prices I'm thinking maybe I'm in the wrong business. For example, there was a wood end table, nothing fancy, but it was damaged and scratched up pretty well. They actually had the confidence to put a price sticker on it of $96, and that was a CLEARANCE sticker since the item had been at their place for too long. I've been to this particular location and their counterpart many times looking for items that I 'must-have', but their prices just make me shake my head and walk out empty-handed. I do understand the cost of running a business and overhead and such, but if you want to move product, make it so that average people are able and willing to pay the asking price. If you want to have the type of shop that sells high-end items for high-end prices, then specialize in just that. Do not be the wolf in sheep's clothing of used furnishings. read more
