We really enjoyed our midday Saturday brunch at this small cafe today. Service and food were both 5 stars. We had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Amaretto Brioche French Toast and both were great. Great lowkey brunch spot! Came here on a random Sunday and was not expecting such a great atmosphere and good tasting food. There was a DJ playing island music, which brought good vibes but it was slightly too loud. We had to kind of yell across the table to talk. The food had great flavor. We got the chicken sandwich, fries, home fries, and French toast. Everything was fresh and came out so fast! The French fries had a seasoning on them that gave off a slightly sweet taste. The Google Algorithm Gods smiled on me when I searched "brunch nearby." I just finished an incredible meal of lemon ricotta pancakes, pork sausage links, and coffee. Freakin' amazing! The homemade strawberry and blackberry jam that came with the pancakes brought just the right amount of sweetness and pop without overpowering the divine flavors of the pancakes and lemony butter. I ordered the veggies and grits and it was such a beautiful, well thought out dish. The creole sauce was savory with a hint of spice. I got the alfano power omelette and a side of grits with cheese. Let me tell you, everything was schmakin. I really loved the chicken and sausage that come with the omelette. They also have hot sauce upon request, which added a nice kick. Everything was cooked very well. It was very delicious and a very good meal and experience. We left feeling full and satisfied. I had to try the Lemon Ricotta pancakes because I've heard how they great they were from the sweet heart in this picture. Highly recommend, the perfect balance between decadence and delicate. I jelly is such a good pairing with the lemon butter. Im looking forward to trying all the other dishes there, the sandwiches are also really good. Been coming here since 2021 and never a bad experience. From the amazing food and service I am always satisfied. The lemon ricotta pancakes are worth the wait and price in dollars and calories. Very home made style and flavors. The chef and owner always comes out and asks how everything is. That's the definition of service and making sure your guests are priority. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and it was delicious! Juicy chicken, the sauce was great! My sister had the steak sandwich and I had to steal a piece. It was full of flavor and amazing. My nephews had the pancakes with chocolate chips and they were also good. My sisters BF had the open face pastrami...SHEESH....top 2-3 pastrami sandwiches I've EVER HAD. My Lady had the Pastrami Eggs Benedict and I had the Chorizo and eggs tacos . Diner French toast is absolutely better and definitely less expensive. Home fried potatoes are bland and tasteless and the eggs were sloppy.
