I got my windows tinted the first part of march first of all it took them 3 hours. i took it back a month later because every window except the rear window had a air bubbles and tint not sticking to edge of windows in a few spots. Very poor job from the beginning. I had an appointment for 11am and 2 and 1/2 hours later i went to the counter to check and my car has not moved why make an appointment and 2 and 1/2 hours later still nothing done. They told me to call when i was ready i said I DOUBT IT. i will NEVER go back to this place or refer anybody . TAKE MY ADVICE GO ELSEWHERE !!! They will NEVER get my business ever again. I special-ordered 4 Continental tires for my 2018 Lexus LC 500 from External Trendz on June 21 and 25. The receipt clearly states: Front tires: 245/40/21 Rear tires: 275/35/21 Instead, the owner, Will, installed the wrong front tires (245/35/21). This was not what I ordered, yet I was charged $2,976 with no tire hazard warranty--while Sam's Club, Tire Choice, and NTB estimated the service should be closer to $1,700 with warranty. After installation on June 28, I drove to Cleveland. Within 3 days, my passenger tire was dangerously low. Sam's Club confirmed the wrong size was installed and couldn't replace it due to special order delays. I was forced to buy another wrong-sized tire just to drive back home safely. I'm not a petty person, but I want to put this spot on blast after an experience I had with them last week. I took my car there to get my windows tinted, so I had to give them my car key , which was on a Washington Commanders key ring. It was the only key on the key ring, so there was no need to remove the car key from the key ring. When they finished with the car, they gave me the car key without the Commanders key ring. I was in a hurry, so I didn't discover the key ring was missing until I got home. I called them the next day to explain what happened and the guy who answered the call, said he looked around the shop and couldn't find it. So I told him there was no reason to separate the car key from the key ring because it was the only key on the key ring. Then he proceeds to tell me that no one there would have stolen the key ring because none f the guys there watch football. Wow, that's some real B.S.!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT ETERNAL TRENDZ IN WALDORF, Maryland (11760 Holly Auto Center LN, Waldorf Maryland)! The owner of Eternal Trendz agreed to perform the service of pairing tires and sensors on rims from an older vehicle to a new vehicle. When he said that he had completed the job, I was charged $200 and told to drive around for a day or two for the service indicator light to go out and for the sensors to pair. The service indicator light was saying that there was an issue with the pairing. Ultimately, the light never went out after driving around for 2 days! Went to the dealership where I purchased the new vehicle and explained the situation to the technician and was told that the valve sensors were not compatible with the new vehicle and that the owner/workers of Eternal Trendz should have known that before attempting to pair the sensors. The technician at the dealership also had a tool to show that they NEVER could have paired up (have a picture of the tool with the message)! When I told the owner of Eternal Trenz, he refused to refund the $200 and would only fix the issue if I paid an additional $400 and his reasoning was that he would have to do additional work by installing new sensors. Bottom line: I paid $200 to someone in my community who I thought was a professional and to someone who I thought I could trust to complete a service. Had I been told from the beginning that the sensors were not compatible, instead of "driving around for a couple of days" for the service light to go out, I would never have paid for what I now know could not have been done! Horrible business practice and customer service. There is a sign behind the counter that states "NO REFUNDS" and of course the owner enforces his sign, so I have now been robbed of $200! This review is for the Nevada location but everyone should know their tactics. Where do I begin. In June of 2021 I dropped of my VW Bus to have some fab work done and a paint job. I gave them 4500 at the time to begin my project. They gave me a quote of 9k. I left my bus with the understanding that the fab work included a 21 window conversion from a 11 window also included some rust repair to the body and paint. During that time they changed locations and the manager took my bus to his house. 1 year later they had barely touched it. In December of 2022 I drove to see my bus and found they had only worked on the quarter panel and tapping 1 rear window in, nothing else (I had to pull my bus and take it to Grumpys Metal in Huntington Beach CA paid them 6k to do the job Eternal Trendz was supposed to do the roof conversion) that's also when the manager asked for an additional $1500 to finish my fab work so I gave it to him under the assumption that the work would be done within months. It's now January 2024. And my bus is no where near done. I requested a partial refund but William the owner is dodging my calls. I am ok with them keeping partial payment but I deserve my money back. I realize in today's world customers can be demanding, and sometimes hard to please. I also know that some businesses are shotty, lack customer service, and knowledge of what they proclaim to be professionals at, and honestly shouldn't be in business! If I could give this business a hard (0) I would! They initially installed a stereo system (4) speakers, a radio, and a powered subwoofer. This was installed in 2022 and even then it wasn't right. The Bluetooth connectivity to the phone didn't work for calls, which was odd. The sound was lack lustered, and very low quality also, however after being there all day for a scheduled appointment I left unsatisfied. My fault totally! Moving forward, the car is stored during the winter and the system has maybe seen (10) hours of playtime. I wanted the system to be checked because I noticed the 2 rear speakers were not working! I went back today and what a mess! I had to wait an hour for them to come, stating they had forgotten about the appointment. They had me there all day while wondering around taking phone calls, and helping other customers while my car sat for hours on in! They stated the amp(woofer) did not work and it has a one year warranty. They didn't even have the decency to put everything back together like it was when I came!! PLEASE STAY AWAY! Their ratings are low which should have been my warning initially. Dont be me, do your research rather than giving a business the benefit of doubt . They are nice people, however no knowledge of stereo installations!!! if anyone knows of a highly rated, and proven audio shop in southern Maryland please let me know!! If I could give zero or negative stars for this company, I would. DO NOT use them to put tint on your car. I had my car taken there to have a tint put on the window. They were specifically told to keep the tint to be within the legal limit for MD (35% light coming through). I took my car to be inspected by Maryland Inspections, and was told the tint put on the car windows was ILLEGAL, allowing only 31% of light to come in. Eternal Trendz REFUSED to make this right. The wanted to charge me $200 to remove the tint they put on, and also charge me again to put the tint at the correct percentage on. They lied. Told me all cars are different, it depends on the thickness of the car window. So, make the tint fit the window of the car you are working on, if that is the case!!! You are the professional. As the customer, at the time of purchase and payment, the request was made that the tint must be of legal MD limit. They said the tint is at 35% light coming in, the paperwork also states it is at 35%. The inspector SHOWED me the tint test. It measures at 31%. I was not trying to get my money back. I just wanted them to take the illegal tint off and put the correct tint on. Horrible customer service! Again, find another place, do not go here. read more

If i could give this place negative stars i would. I went there to get my tint done. 1st thing 1st is they overcharge a lot for everything. They say they use a machine to cut the tint to fit towards the vehicle but after i noticed the problem i went to another tint shop and they told me that the tint was handcut and wasn't by a machine. They did this to all 4 windows including my rear window. I will never use this place for any services again in the future! read more

Eternal Trendz (ET) does an excellent job on window tinting and detailing but my experience with their audio installation was an absolute nightmare. I am a positive, reasonable person but this was the worst customer experience I've ever had--ever and led to several months of frustration working with these guys. In summary, they kept my car overnight at least 4 times and every time I got it back things were continually wrong with it. It's like they had no time at all to a quality assurance check. They had me completely invested in the job, continued to charge me more money for overpriced labor and parts as they added things to the system they should have added from the beginning. They pretended to not understand why things were happening to my car such as headlights dimming while driving, internal/external audio distortion, and total loss of power due to too much pull on the battery. I would avoid this place at all cost for audio work. Here's a breakdown of what I went through: Car 2010 BMW 328i x-drive Day 1 I walked in and was impressed with the overall layout, rims, speakers, demo audio wall, and waiting area. It was obvious to me they were short staffed with so many customers waiting/complaining. But they had an impressive flipbook of audio installs and custom jobs so I stayed. I initially spoke with the owner, Billy. He actually seems like a nice guy. I told him I wanted to upgrade my stock system that I was very disappointed with from BMW with louder speakers, cleaner sound, and a sub. BMW also had factory HU that made sound snap and pop at high volume (STOCK!) So many frustrated owners on the E-90 forums btw. He recommended an Alpine Type-R system with 4 speakers and a 1000 watt Amp pushing two Type-R Subs in the trunk. He asked me how much I wanted to spend and I gave him a ballpark of 1-2k and I went ahead and got the windows tinted also. Day 2 (dropped car off) Day 3 Immediately noticed they threw in car detailing. The ride was the cleanest I had ever seen it and I was really impressed! The tinting job was perfect. I turn on the car audio and volume up a bit with some dub step or whatever at the time. Immediately noticed the snapping and popping was still there and the subs were blowing out so much they were muffling my speakers. They mounted the sub box to the back of the trunk with a little L-bracket and 2 screws (looked sloppy) Went in completely disappointed. They literally dropped a 1k W amp in my trunk and two subs in a box and charged me like $1,800. I was furious. The sub hit so hard I couldn't even hear the music. I told them this is not what I asked for and I wanted them to yank everything out and let me find somewhere else. They refused. I was not ready to get a lawyer over the situation and they wanted me to stay with them so they could make it right. Drove the car out. It's kind of silly but I had full tank and noticed they left me with only 8 miles before I ran out of gas. I wasn't sure what to say about that. I did some EQ settings in the car because I felt they didn't dial it in and then I noticed my headlights were dimming on/off. Day 4 I spoke with Mike on his cell quite often. He was very responsive and had a noticeable higher standard for customer service than the Owner (he doesn't work there anymore). Mike recommended adding a 4-channel amp for the speakers so I went with that. Day 5 Picked up car. They waived labor cost so no invoice. None of the guys were even around and the sound wasn't even dialed in. I was frustrated again. Sound distortion while driving was still there. Headlight dimming went away. Music didn't sound as loud or nearly as good. Day 6 He Troubleshooted this install with me over the span of several days. He found the source of the distortion was the BMW stock HU. They replaced it w/ an Alpine and it sounded great! During the install they broke my hood-release and cigarette lighter. They fixed. Weeks Later Driving the car to ski-trip with friends. Audio EQ settings were the same for weeks. Suddenly audio sounds like it's underwater. Sound is terrible. Distant friend that does audio work says it needs capacitor. Day 7 Mike put in a capacitor. Overcharged me for it according to Amazon and charged me for labor. I also had the HU upgraded to a Pioneer w/ Bluetooth and DVD. Weeks Later Music sounds great but not as good as it did w/ the Alpine HU. Oh well I just played with EQ settings. Car died completely on 495-N on exit ramp (thank God). I swear it was a T.I. song with way too much bass. Started right back up on side and took me forever to jump back into traffic. Audio dies again just like on ski trip. Sounds horrible. Final Day @ ET Found out Mike no longer worked there so the owner, Billy came out to look at the car. Speakers were blown from tipping. He said "it was the subs fault." Mike didn't mount last time. I brought my car to have tinting replaced. Originally the tinting was placed years ago under the old management. I waited 5hrs while they worked on my window. I was informed that they were having difficulty applying the tint. I was instructed to bring my car back in in 2 days for a check. The pillars in my car were saturated with water leaving water marks, sticky spots on my drivers window, and ther was a ripple in the tint (not present when I dropped it off), and I can't clean the streak mark off my windows. When I showed up as instructed they seemed less than helpful. I was told they cleaned the pillars (water marks returned before I made it home), streaks still present & the sticky spots must have happened when I rolled my window down. Really. I've had this car for a long time and never had sticky spots from rolling the window down. The original managment was awesome, I will not go back to this store under the current management!! read more

I went to "Eternal Trendz" to have the windows tinted on my Ford F-150. I decided to wait instead of come back for it. The waiting room was comfortable and restroom facilities were available and top notch. I received my vehicle with the tinting I asked for in what I felt was a very reasonable amount of time although I can't remember precisely how long it took. The application was perfect. The explanation of the dos and don'ts was outstanding and the even put a sticky tab over my power window controls to remind me to not roll down the windows during the curing time. I took my truck back two days later for inspection and the nice young lady went over the windows meticulously working out imperfections that I couldn't even see. What ever you do, please do not go to this place. I had them do work on my brand new car and everything turned out horrible. The audio installation guy had his son playing and crawling around in my car while he installed my speakers. He jacked up my navigation screen and acted like he didn't do it. I had to look up how to get it fixed on You tube and come back to walk him through it. The owner sold me some rims that were way over priced. Now when i say way over priced i seriously mean it. ($1,000 per rim) I let them know that i was military and maybe he could work with me on the price. He refused told me that he was giving me a good deal already. He kept my vehicle for 2 to 3 days while installing everything, and i had to make multiple trips cause he didn't order the right parts for my car. I found out that my rims were really only $500 each from my claims adjuster today. (Hit a pot hole) I showed him my receipt and he laughed and said don't go there anymore. He pulled up his laptop and showed me the going price for the rims that i have plus free shipping. Eternal Trendz may have alot of trophies in there waiting room and can detail the hell out of a car, but i assure you none of those trophies is for installing equipment or customer service. Of coarse its my fault i got taken advantage of, but i feel if i can help by warning someone (ESPECIALLY MILITARY) and not have the same experience i did, it might make Eternal Trendz do business the right way and hire more professional people instead of friends from high school. read more

Dropped car off at 2:30, with other cars in front of me (car wash), and got a call a hour later saying that my car was ready for pick up. The best service that I have experienced. Went to ET to have light work done to the car. I had specific instructions on where I wanted to put the lights in my car(led's and puddle lights) and not only did they make me wait 5 hours to put in lights but they configured them wrong. They did install front LED's with no glitches. The manager, Mike, kept telling me it'd be another minute- thank god the lobby had some good marvel movies coming on to help kill the time. anyway, disappointed because the lights were not put in the way i asked them to and i pad a grip, I left store since i was the last one there with a very sour taste in my mouth but did not say anyhting b/c my dad always told me - if you want things done right, write a letter! a week and half later, the lights they installed started to fuse and were dragging on the ground as he had secured them with tape. They attempted to fix the lights but the job was sub par and the service got worse. I guess thats what I get for trying to force the issue of putting non factory lights on my car and not doing my research. read more

Where to begin... We came here last year to order some custom rims for our truck. Gave a 50% deposit and we were told order should arrive in about 5 business days. Three weeks passed and no communication from the shop! My husband went back in to check the status, oh there was a delay but they should be in a few days... Translation they were never ordered. About two weeks later after much calling etc they were in. Now for the really fun part.... Installation should be a breeze right? Think again! Drop off for install after about 6 weeks just trying to get a product we spent almost 2k for. Pick up we are told from shop manager "Oh well we can't set your sensors because our machine is out for repair" It should be back next week so just come in then." We come in the following week, no machine. We call for the next 3 months, it's still not in. Translation they were never going to reset the sensors on the new wheels. We finally decide to go somewhere else to have sensors reset & the dealer nor other tire shop can find them. Translation they were never placed on the tires. Moral of the story never go to a shop that has old dusty inventory and a cash flow problem!! This place is awful and they honestly don't even care. read more

This company is dishonest and does not care about decent customer service. As of the date of this review I have been waiting 7 weeks for a damaged rim replacement that was promised to be delivered within two weeks. Meaning, my truck has been on a donut for 7 weeks because I cannot install a tire without a rim. They do not call with updates, EVER. When asked to speak with the owner about canceling the order and recouping my money for their failure to deliver, the excuse is that the owner is working from Las Vegas and due to the time differences between Maryland and Vegas he cannot be contacted. I also needed one tire but fast talking Jay (general manager) convinced me I needed 4. Other reputable tire shops told me the existing 3 cheap tires that Eternal Trendz Customs installEd were still in good shape and only the damaged tire needed to be replaced. In light of the rim saga and my education about the cheap tires I paid a handsome price for purchased from and installed by Eternal Trendz, I told them I do not want the 4 tires and I only want the one rim to match the 3 I have and that I would purchase the tire elsewhere. Jay indicated I need to pay a restocking fee for the tires that I do not yet have. Oh and still no rim. I asked for the entire order to include the rim to be canceled, my money returned so I can seek service elsewhere. In addition to not delivering, not calling with updates, they are not even interested in returning my hard earned money. I am not interested in store credit. The lounge is relaxing while you wait, doesn't have that bad auto shop smell like many other places you will go. It's clean, neat and odor free with super comfortable chairs to relax in while you wait. I went to Eternal Trendz to get my windows tinted. The reviews on their tinting were good, their website and store looked professional, and the lady at the front desk was really nice and helpful. I was totally fooled. I have never written an on-line review but I felt compelled to write a review to educate people before they have the same experience I did. Their website estimates $150-$200 for a full tint job of all windows except for the front windshield. When I arrived they said it would be $250. I agreed to the higher price under the assumption and confidence I would receiving a professional and guaranteed tint job. I did not want to rush them and left my car there for the day for them to tint. When I arrived that afternoon, my car looked great on the outside. When I took a closer look at the inside, I saw at least 15-20 fine but long scratches throughout my tint job. I brought this to their attention and they said the scratches were preexisting. I find that interesting since the car was 18 days old and had 120 miles on it. They refused to replace the tint and would do so only if I paid for them to remove the tint and apply new tint. I wanted to see what would happen so I asked them to replace the tint on a small rear window. Magically the scratches were not there when he replaced the tint and he replaced both sides at no cost. I asked them to repair the 10 other scratches on my four main windows and provide me the adequate tint job I paid for and they refused. To add to their "professional" services, my rear headrests were laying on my seat and not reinstalled (I looked past that), there was a huge dirty foot print in the back of my brand new car (I scrubbed the upholstery and looked past that), but the tint job, rudeness, and total disregard for any customer service was inexcusable. Beside the website advertising a lower price, they also advertise a free external car wash with a full window tint job. When I asked where my car wash was, they replied that they did not own the website and had no control over its content, therefore they do not honor anything on the website that has their address and phone number on it. Please think twice before using them because I am reminded of their great service every time I look out my car windows. read more

Stay away from this business I got my windows done and it was horrible. They stated they would redo them which they did and it was worst then the first time. Jay the office manager ensured me that they would do them a third time and now he keeps telling me that the owner is opening a new store in Tyson and he will do.... I call everyday waiting for this nightmare to end and they just keep me on hold for 10 minutes or more. Customer service is poor I guess this is a case for the courts to resolve. I was recommended by my sister who had two of her cars done and was pretty pleased with the out come of the tint. I thought I'd give it a shot and and unfortunately I did not have the same experience. I'm not sure if they were low on staff the day I went, but I bought my car in a little after 9 am on a Saturday and my car wasn't ready until 10:47 pm. They made every type of excuse and the only thing I got before I left was sorry it took so long. I will not be using their services again. read more
