Service was great. Very friendly. However, the poke was just ok. Portion size was very good. Parking semi sucks and is a bit awkward.

Best poke in the South Bay hand down! Ponzu and spicy mayo are elite! Fresh, dense poke! Great portion for the price!

Picked up lunch at around 11:45am on a Monday. Called in my order, so it would be quick. Double bowl. Cali roll. Sweet chili. Crab and seaweed salad for the the toppings. $14.51 total. What a steal! It obviously isn't Hawaiian poke, but it was good and was great for the price. I ended up going again on a Tuesday. They gave me a free drink. Would recommend this place!

good poke spot in carson!! the spot is might be easy to miss as you drive by but there is enough parking spaces. the establishment is pretty small so i'd recommend take-out orders. the poke was fresh and it's pretty good considering the price point and the portions that you are getting.

A newly opened Hawaiian-style poke with a Filipino influence. A small establishment, with a couple tables set up inside. I can imagine most of their business is take out. Food : They specialize in Hawaiian-style poke. I ordered the two flavors poke bowl with regular spicy tuna and with the ginger flavor over two scoops rice with furukaki. This is a big and heavy plate. The two flavors is big enough to share. The poke could use some work unfortunately. The spicy poke was too salty and too much sauce and not allowing the freshness of the tuna come through. Same with the ginger flavor except it was too sweet. They need to let the natural flavor of the tuna be the center and not be heavy of the sauce/flavors. Bonus points for free toppings: I had seaweed salad and ginger. Breakfast : Portuguese Sausage Breakfast with two eggs and rice. The Portuguese sausage was just too salty for my taste. Next time, I'll order longanisa instead. Three STARS for the service. The auntie that was at the counter was friendly, and warm. Also the portion size was very generous and the price is affordable. You get your money's worth. I will come and order something else next time. Let's continue to patronize small business in the area.

Delicious poke that reminded me of Hawaii! Great portions and really nice owners. Will be returning for sure.

Super fresh poke and really friendly staff. Everything tasted clean and high quality, and the fish was on point. The vibe honestly made me feel like I was back in Hawaii--simple, fresh, and welcoming. Definitely coming back.

This new poke and Hawaiian food spot just opened, and I'm so happy I went to check it out because it might be my new go-to poke spot!! I used to go to another one nearby but they stopped selling ginger flavor, but this new spot has it, and it's delicious! I love their spicy mayo and ginger ahi! They marinate the poke so well and the flavors are amazing. Their food is reasonably priced, and it was $13.95 for their double flavor bowl and it comes with two toppings (choice of imitation crab, seaweed, or ginger). Most places don't offer additional toppings, so it was nice that it was included in the bowl. There's a couple tables inside if you want to sit and eat, but it's more of a grab and go place. The service was quick, and the owner was friendly when we spoke with her! Will definitely be back for my authentic Hawaiian poke cravings!

Solid Hawaiian style poke spot. Good portion for $15 on the double tuna plate. Better than average texture on the fish but the ginger & spicy crunchy garlic flavors were a tad strong/salty. Masked the freshness of the fish to me. I'm a salmon poke kinda guy but they only had spicy mayo flavor when I went. Not a big spicy mayo guy but this was actually pretty good with the fish standing out. Great texture on the salmon. Soft, buttery melt in your mouth pieces. Hopefully they have other flavors next time I stop by. Great new addition to the South Bay!

Restaurant is easy to miss. Small business in a shared small single building, not much space for dinning in. Parking lot is also small. Really just ideal for to go orders. Food is good. Fresh. Flavorful. Musubi is made in limited quantities, so call ahead and ask for availability if you plan on getting some. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for some good poke.

Came at 6:30 to find restaurant closed

Second time trying to come rushing after work before closing, and it's closed. Granted, came around 6:50pm the first time and understand it's close to closing. Came again the next day at 6:30pm--closed. If your store hours are marked as open until 7pm, BE OPEN UNTIL 7PM. If not, change your store hours to closing at 6pm or whatever time staff closes up. Extremely unhappy to find out it's closed early second time in a row. Super unfortunate, was really looking forward to getting dinner here.

I had the Veggie Omelette, and it was absolutely loaded with fresh vegetables. Every bite tasted fresh, clean, and delicious. I also ordered a latte with the banana foam, and wow... that foam was nice! It was thick, creamy, and flavorful with banana flavor. I could have eaten the foam all by itself, but I mixed it into the latte with my straw. It added just the right touch of sweetness, although the banana flavor became a little more subtle once it was mixed in. My mom ordered the Veggie Omelette as well, along with the Banana Pancake as her specialty pancake. It was delicious! It was topped with fresh banana slices, walnuts, and a light dusting of powdered sugar. Such a great combination without being overly sweet. The real surprise of the visit was the fresh-made lemonade. I ordered the Paradise Lemonade with guava and passion fruit, and it was incredibly refreshing and full of flavor. It's the perfect summer drink, and I can honestly see myself stopping by just to grab one to go on a hot day. My mom tried the Havana Lemonade with strawberries. While she isn't usually a fan of tart drinks, she still enjoyed it. If you love strawberry lemonade, you'll definitely appreciate this one. It's such a fun and creative concept. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Great food, refreshing drinks, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I love the concept, and I'll definitely be back again soon!

My wife and I had an enjoyable breakfast experience, tasting some unique dishes that are worth coming in for. We had a real early errand in the Lomita area, so wanted to take advantage by trying a different breakfast place. They have a really informative website, explaining the owning family's participation and how some of their food is sourced. It's a brunch place (open from 8 am to 2/3 pm, Tu-Su), so needed to wait a bit outside (street parking only, found one hour free parking right in front since coming so early). Menus are available at the front counter, and you place and pay (clover) for your order first. The food came out soon after, delivered to your table. There is a self-serve water jug in the same area as take-as-you-need take-out containers (also saw a self-serve costco-size plastic wrap box for wrapping...such a Korean thing to do). Utensils and napkins are available at the table to take for need. I really like places like this that have optimized the service experience, getting what you need without having to track someone down. Forking Around's Filipino Burrito ($18.95) - a collab with the food influencer 'Forking Around' to put into a breakfast burrito, many common ingredients from a Filipino breakfast. This includes egg, garlic fried rice as base and a vegetable lumpia with longanisa pieces, wrapped in a good flour tortilla. Sides were both a cilantro lime crema and a well made sawsawan. The sausage was not too sweet nor too red (though perhaps a bit too meatloaf-like), and the lumpia in the burrito worked for me. Korean Breakfast with bulgogi and steamed rice ($19.95) - it was served in a cast-iron skillet and the pan had been heated up greatly...super hot when served and still warm by the time we left. The flavor of the bulgogi was solid, and I loved the presentation. Taco Truck Burrito ($17.95) - korean-style al pastor pork, with pineapple and kimchi fried rice and egg. It was good....forgot to ask if the meat was really cooked on a vertical rotisserie. Came with a good chipotle salsa and lime crema. We were done in 30 minutes, from entry to exit. It wasn't too busy, so asked the front-of-house lead where the longanisa sausage and lumpia were made...she stated that it was all in-house. That's really impressive, making an ingredient from scratch that is only used in one dish. This and the elegant presentation and longevity really shows that the entire team behind bites & bashes cafe (catering) knows what they are doing.

Ie. banana turon or ube pancakes, Filipino inspired burrito with longanisa. I chose the bulgogi plate and asked for no white rice and was offered fruit or salad in lieu of. Tasty bulgogi w/a small egg on top yet the portions are very modest. In the middle of my meal, I ordered one more item- the krak fries which were very garlicky. They go for the presentation with the floral and greens to jazz up the look. Hubby's dish was straight ahead- Bulgogi cheesesteak and fries. Also modest in portions. Iced decaf Americano in a plastic cup and OJ in a plastic cup. Kinda odd considering their price points. Some beverages are in mugs. This was more like a 2.75 stars rounded up to 3.
