How disappointing! We were so excited to try this new restaurant because we love crab. My husband got the fish and chips which was thin and over cooked with a sprinkling of the worst seasonings ever. They even contaminated the fries with it. The crab was served in a bucket. I asked for garlic and butter and got the spiciest crab ever. I tried to be a good sport about it and eat it anyway but half way through the meal I barfed it up in their bathroom. It was way too spicy. I explained what happened and they still made us pay an extortionate amount for their terrible food! They gave us a discount of 30% off and it was still $40!! The prices are unreal! Your drink comes in a styrofoam cup, you're given only a plastic fork and expected to eat off of the table cloth without a plate. For the price you pay, they should at least bring you proper eating utensils and a glass. I will NEVER eat here again. Lesson learned. read more

Really great flavor for their house sauce! I got the headless and skinless shrimp with potatoes, corn, and sausage with rice. Everything came out great and the star of the show was actually the garlic noodles which were awesome. Staff was helpful and very nice. Delicious! Not authentic as the name implies but delicious all the same. It is very clean. I did find a hair in my drink but the waiter replaced the cup immediately. It was a styrofoam cup so I could see the static attracting a hair from anyone walking by. The gumbo was delicious, the fish and chips were BOMB! Soooo good. The service was also excellent. The gentleman that waited on us was very kind and attentive. A quick tip: get the Blazing Shaking sauce and mix it with a little ketchup *chefs kiss*. I really enjoyed it. read more

This place is wide open, and clean, with a plain appearance. Nothing too exciting. The menu did look exciting. So we ordered a few things. They brought out paper plates and plastic forks. Our drinks were served in to go cups. That was a little surprising. I think I would have preferred silverware and regular cups. We ordered garlic noodles, that were good, just a little greasy. The fish platter was really good!, My husband said his shrimp po boy was ok, but would have been better if they put the sauces on the bread, instead of tossing the fried shrimp in it. The shrimp was a little soggy from being tossed in the sauce. It was also hard for him to cut his po boy in half, because they gave us plastic knives. We also got the crawfish fries. I don't remember what they were called, but they were also really good. The portions were bigger than I expected, and the price was reasonable. I don't think they've been in this location for very long, so they're probably still working out the kinks. This might be the reason for the bad reviews, But we might go back and try some of the other items on the menu read more

The menu was a little different than what I was expecting. They offered seafood dishes, fried chicken strips as well as seafood boil. I ordered the 1lb shrimp original style with mild spice. I also added potatoes and sausage. The seasoning sauce was sooo tasty. I throughly enjoyed it. It was enough for two people. My husband ordered the chicken strip meal. The breading was crispy and the chicken was moist. Yea, it's a little pricier but we would absolutely come back. Grabbed dinner to go here the other night because my family and I were in the area, service was great but the food was not the best. We order shrimp that was peeled and headless and they charged me $5 extra per lb, which I understand but $5 is kinda a lot. We usually order just shrimp, but I did get a pound of mussels in there one time, with the house sauce. Ask for some rice, corn and hot links with potatoes in it, you are set to go. I am so disappointed.!!! This establishment should not use the term "etouffee" In their title with Etouffee like this. It is hands down the worst etouffee i have ever had. It tastes like tomato soup with some cornstarch added and a few crawfish and shrimp. It looks nothing like it's online photo and tastes nothing like traditional etouffee. The service was great though and so was the music. I'd go back to try something else, after all, it's seafood. How can you mess that up!
