My brother, along with his girlfriend and I decided to take her for a spontaneous nostril piercing. He claimed that she jolted, while he had not told her that he was going to put the jewelry in, and her face started pouring with blood. There was an amount of blood I had never seen before. I'm not sure what happened, but I've never seen a piercing bleed so much. I would not recommend. A traumatic experience for my brother. read more

The tattoo artist that did my boyfriend and i's tattoos overworked the black in the flower I got tattooed from their flash. He had a very heavy hand. Although on my arm, may have been one of my most uncomfortable tattoos. I am practically tattooed from head to toe. I did really like the design and how it looks, but it is very irritated. I literally got a tattoo at another shop a day before, right next to the flash I got here, and the healing is completely different. My boyfriend used a reference photo from the internet. The artist did a great job drawing and making the stencil. However the resulting tattoo had some inconsistencies in shading and a derpy face :-( he's very upset and will be covering it up. read more

Girlfriend really wanted a septum for her birthday, thought it'd be good to do it at the mall while we were there. Walk in was quick, didn't wait long. But the actual piercing was botched terribly. The guy litterally failed pushing through and had to push a second time where then he proceeded to hit her nostril on the other side causing her to start bleeding a lot. Finally got it cleaned up, seemed alright until looking in the mirror to see that it's completely crooked, like not even close. if i could give 0 stars, i would. i came in for a downsizing on an eyebrow piercing i got somewhere else. I paid $16 for jewelry, that was externally threaded. I can get internally threaded jewelry from better shops for $10. when she removed the original bar, she struggled for about three minutes, and finally tore it loose. my eyebrow began bleeding, and she inserted the new bar. a week later, my eyebrow started showing signs of rejection. i went to a better piercer, they helped me remove the jewelry, and explained that she permanently damaged a part of my left eyebrow. for additional context, i am 15, and they proceeded without asking for parent consent. the lady at the front desk was impatient, rude, and the piercer was harsh and did not seem to care about my comfortability or experience in the slightest. please do not get any work done here, you can get it done better for cheaper at places such as Poppy's Parlour. read more

This is my favorite shop. They have done 10 out of 13 of my piercings. Jeff has done most of them, and is the reason why I continue to give Euphoria my business. I got a flat piercing done by Kristy (I think is her name), and am unhappy with my experience. After pushing the needle through, she dropped the jewelry on the floor and picked it up. She asked another piercer to bring new jewelry, who brought it in a cup. Kristy did not replace her gloves after picking the original jewelry off of the ground, and put the new jewelry in. Over the next four days, my piercing swelled up to cover the entire bar (which was quite big). The pain from the constant throbbing was so bad I went to go take it out. I only kept it in after draining the puss from my ear, and the swelling went down. This was done a month ago, and it is still struggling to heal (I'm aware these piercings take a long time to heal, but it is still bruised and feels like it was recently pierced). I am not an expert, but my other 12 piercings healed amazingly after being done professionally with sterile instruments. This is also the only piercing I have ever gotten that became immediately infected. I will now ONLY be returning for Jeff, as he is professional and always takes extra care when doing my piercings. read more

I enjoyed my experience here- I just had a tough time finding the place but that's obviously on me. I have a few piercings and I feel like you kind of know what to expect after a while. This isn't a glamorous boutique style piercing/tattoo shop. It's very simple and fills the need there are no frills and crazy prices either which is just what I was looking for. I impulsively wanted to get some piercings and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. That may not be what you want which is fine - there's many different types of piercing shops in the area and luckily you have free will. They only take walk ins and that can work in your favor or not- I went on Saturday and as expected so did a ton of people. I had to wait an hour they told me that up front there were quite a few friends getting piercings together and people waiting outside too. I went in knowing that I wanted two helix piercings on my left ear - I wasn't sure of the jewelry selection as I have mainly gold in my ears and wanted to continue that if I could - but I've been in a few shops that only carry titanium so I new what to expect. Again this is a simple very basic shop- no frills and I enjoyed it- I know I want to buy new jewelry in like 6 months after my piercings heal (hopefully) . There aren't a lot of options but they're all titanium. I got to choose between a hoop or a stud and I chose studs. I was given the option of picking a ball that had a colored stone and there were a ton of cute colors but I stuck with a plain ball stud for both piercings. Everything was straight forward and the same as any other place in regards to the poking of the ear holes. Bring your ID. Sign your forms. Wait till they call you up. Go into the room. Sit down. Confirm the placement. Deep breath. Stab stab. I thought it was clean well maintained the gentleman who pierced me was very professional and nice he was calm confident. I changed his initial placement and he was chill and marked my ear again and we went from there. He knew what he was doing in my not so humble opinion and I felt perfectly fine and taken care of. He talked me through everything and all the aftercare. I bough their cleaning solution and I payed for everything tipped him and left. I believe each piercing was 15 and the jewelry was 25 -something like that either reversed or in the ballpark I don't recall exactly I'm sorry man. I got two helix piercings with basic studs and the cleaning solution and the tip. In total like $110. Yea it's not the cheapest but honestly I've payed that for a single piercing at certain places in PDX and that's not what I wanted this time I figure I'll buy the cute gold jewelry later when I want to be broke. I think there is a lot to be said for the responsibility you carry now that you leave the shop and have to stay on top of cleaning and not touching your piercing. I am no crazy ear piercing expert but please don't touch your fricken ear. Just forget about it. Any piercing that I've had that I touched or fiddled with excessively always got irritated and took longer to heal. Just clean it morning and night and leave it alone. Try not to sleep on it and you'll be good. read more

DO NOT GO HERE if you truly care about how your piercings look. The prices are tempting but please, just go to an actual professional piercing parlor. They dont even have piercing portfolios on their site(for the vancouver location at least) and it had been a whole year since I'd checked it :/ I went in for two high nostril piercings and a tongue piercing in November of 2021 and wad not satisfied with it. I ended up with what me and my good piercer called a medium nostril and had to get my tongue repierced. The lady who worked there repierced my tongue did a good job and I got a refund on one of my nostrils. The additide of the guy who pierced me wasnt great. I felt stressed out and felt like i had to say i liked it just so i wouldnt be inconveniencing him. Not a great feeling when you are supposed to tell them if you honestly didnt like the placement. read more

I have been meaning to get a tattoo for the longest time and I've been looking around LA and OC but probably due to my wimpiness and it not being very cheap, I've frittered away from it. UNTIL a few weeks ago when I visited my cousin in Portland and this topic was re-opened. She recommended I go to Euphoria and how there are multiple locations in Vancouver yada yada. So we went here on my first day of visit. We came in to the store and I asked about the pricing then I got nervous again so we went out and bought boba. I came back a few minutes later after I decided that it was time -- I'm getting my first permanent scar. I'm a big Potterhead so I showed them this small tat I found on the internet, nothing crazy. I really just wanted a small tat that represents me or at least a part of me. It's just his glasses and a scar and that's just exactly how I wanted it. So the artist looked it up on the internet, printed it, and wet it and put it on my wrist where I wanted it. After removing the paper some part of it was not good so he was like, NOPE, and removed the trace with alcohol. I thought he was gonna print another one but he just tried the wet paper back again and it left almost the same trace as the first but he was like oh okay that's better. It's probably because of this that trace became a little messed up. It's not bad but since it's permanent I'm a little bit disappointed. The circles aren't perfect but what got me was the unnecessary shading inside the glasses. I was thinking it was the artist's input or twist on it but i would've preferred without it. They have been nice to me the whole time I was there though. read more

My push pin nose ring got caught on gloves and came out. Lady on phone was helpful. Staff were Friendly, fast, and amenable to wearing a mask when I requested. I was in rush to get to daughters recital and hole was closing. No one verified nose ring style. I assumed push pin, they didn't present whole item or clarifying before placing it in. It was corkscrew style, which left half the corkscrew hanging out of my nostril. Piercer adjusted it but still hanging out. Tole me it was bc my piercing was "so low." It looks pretty tacky, my nose is clearly not a good fit for this corkscrew style. Took the corkscrew piercing I just paid for out in the parking lot and threw it away. read more

I worked for and managed a tattoo - piercing & smoke shop for over 2 years before getting into the dental field & full well know the etiquette needed for this industry. Both times I've been here, the staff has been quite pompous. I came here a few months ago for a thin gauged nose piece to shove in my almost closed hole, which I've done before, and was told a different gauge then what I received. Didn't notice until I got home & know you can't return jewelry. Then I decided to get it re pierced and told the staff the situation when I went in, they were very rude about not bent able to use my jewelry that was the wrong size; which I already knew because it has to be sterilized. I asked if they cold give me any sort of discount on jewelry since I have this piece I wasn't able to use that was the wrong size for me. They told me no, and proceeded to say I had to pay a $5 upgrade charge for a diamond or id get an ugly stainless steel ball. Couldn't even waive the $5... There was also one HUGE HUGE red flag for me, that I don't want to say publicly, but the owner can feel free to message me about. I got the piercing done since there isn't another shop around, but NOT happy at ALL with the service & will NOT ever be coming back here read more

Went here to get a new piercing. They suggested I get my helix pierced with a hoop(bad idea). It got super irritated and caught on everything. Jewelry quality was pretty rough, not the best. The service was good, piercer was nice. I would recommend going somewhere else of better quality to get a piercing done. read more

January 30th I went into the Vancouver Mall Euphoria to be a body for a piercer - for a chest dermal. I know the piercer personally and, fully knowing the situation, would not have been upset if he messed it up at all, however personally wouldn't go to Euphoria under normal circumstances. He was being watched by his boss, Steven, who I'd like to mention has pierced myself and my sister about 8 years before. Anyway, after some coaching from his boss, he completed the dermal. I looked down at my chest and saw that it looked to be sitting pretty flushed and comfortably (but what do I know?). Boss man disagreed, though, and insisted on taking it out and re-positioning the jewelry so that it would appear more flushed. Now I'm not sure what happened here, but his hand or the clamp slipped upward and made a small but hardly noticeable tear in my skin and he lost the jewelry. He did grab a new piece of jewelry saying he would need a new sanitized piece anyway, tried again, and once again he slipped out of place and tore my skin apart even more. He dropped the jewelry again, but picked that same one back up and proceeded to try a third time. It immediately looked like it was protruding, but he said it looked fine to him, and it was covered in blood so I assumed I was just not seeing it right. Although he did mention they only had one size post, and it could be too long for some spots. He passed off that my skin was torn and that it could be the wrong size, placed a bandaid over it and sent me on my way. They told me I needed to wear bandaids for two weeks in order for it to settle and it will rest into the skin overtime. When I got back home, I took off the bandaid to clean it up and saw it looked like it was protruding even more so and facing downward, I assume because of the tear on top it didn't have enough leverage to hold the jewelry upright, and I wasn't confident it would stay in place for very long. You could even see the base of the jewelry through my torn skin. I messaged the original piercer asking if he could take it out, and when I came in he told me it definitely wasn't right and it slipped out with ease, as if it wasn't being supported by anything at all (because it really wasn't). I'm bummed and it was an unfortunate situation, but I do feel bad that this may reflect on my friend, who I believe did just fine. I wish I had insisted on taking a better look at it when it was first done. My chest is now healing and looks pretty gnarly, it pretty tender and I'm basically going through the whole healing process of an actual piercing, but it looks like it should heal pretty normally with a little vitamin e oil. read more

Went here to get my forward helix jewelery changed out after healing for 5 months. Asked the piercer if my piercing was healed enough to change it out and he said it was ready and it would only take a few minutes. Seemed like they only had one option for labret jewelery and I didn't ask what gauge it was...that's my fault I admit. Changing it out was quite difficult for the piercer and quite painful for me. I expressed my pain and he didn't respond. Once he changed it out, I noticed the damage. It was bleeding, red, and swollen. Days later, I could tell it was more irritated than when I first pierced it. Decided to visit another piercer in town for a consult and found out this guy put a 16 G labret in when the original was 18 G. And since he upset the ear so much, the new shorter post was not allowing for the swelling. Now I have an 18 G in with a slightly longer post and I finally feel relief. I just wish this piercer at Euphoria would have stopped trying to switch the jewelery when he encountered issues. I'm bummed that the healing process has been set back by multiple months and that I needed to go somewhere else to get more information. I had very good experiences with Euphoria in the past (gotten tragus and nose pierced) but this experience was enough for me to not want to go back. read more

so im gonna start off by saying, this has nothing to do with the quality of the work as the tattoo portion of the tattoo that was completed came out exactly as i expected and hoped however it is vastly incomplete I booked a blocked schedule of 5hrs at a rate of $100 an hour total with a now former artist there named 'candice' she was nice, clean and sterile environment, conversation was engaging. well being that she was pressed for time my session got cut short and i only got the line work done. we discussed my return a week later to get my shading done and other characters that werent added the 1st session. well i came in for my session, might i add i only used 1hr of my 5hr PAID FOR TIME ONLY FOR THEM TO INFORM ME THAT SHE NO LONGER WORKS THERE. FLAT OUT QUIT. after a brief talk with the person at the front desk trying to see if i could get a refund for the unused time or another artist to complete what she hadnt. they tell me neither will happen, whomever the owners is, those were their words. so in short i basically paid $500 for a 3x5 worth of ink that was supposed to start a half sleeve tattoo line work only. they didnt even try to help me out just pretty much said f**k you, your lost. never again. read more

I tried to go get my septum, and they told me it was an hour wait. And hour and a half later still no call. I go in to check out why it's taking so long. Told me another hour and one person in front of me. Another almost 2 hours go by I go back in to check and they tell me 2 more people are in front of me and another "20 min wait" so I said F-it and left. Waiting almost 3 hours for no piercing and a 40 min drive for nothing. Would not recommend this place extremely unorganized and not on top of thing 0/10 read more

One of my daughters and I have gotten many piercings here. I forget his name, but he was a cute little asian guy. Super clean, and friendly... and all piercings healed nicely. I have 4 cartilage piercings, my daughter has 3 cartilage, her lobes, and her belly. No complaints, at all. Don't even waste your time. The employees are rude and not inviting and the place doesn't even look sterile. I went there to get my rook pierced and couldn't believe how I was talked down to. Fist off I was by my self and told him I was already nervous because this was my fiat time out of my 9 piercing that I was by myself. He then had me pay before I was even pierced, unlike any place I've been before. He then went on for 8 minutes about how I can get bumps on my ears and how I should be concerned. Then I was told my ears were odd and rather than making myself feel like getting it done would look good, he was apprehensive and rude. After saying I then wasnt sure if I wanted it, he told me I would be charged 10$ still because of "all the work" it took to get everything out. THEN he continues to harass me asking why I didn't want to go. This place has no good vibes and I wouldn't bother wasting your time on a mall tattoo/piercing parlor. Worst. Experience. I don't reccomend this place. I got a tattoo from a woman (I won't use her name in case it's not allowed). She made fun of what I wanted but did it anyway. She tattooed tiny dots and then connected them for her line work. It looked okay right after she finished but as it healed, I saw that the lines are really bad. She must have inserted the needle at different angles so under the skin it is crooked but as she was doing it, the ink on the surface seemed okay. And I can totally see her "connect-the-dots" because the dots are bigger than the width of her lines. I paid extra so I could go back for touch ups and I figured if she made the lines thicker, it would cover the little dots. When I asked for a touch up though, she said I would have to pay the full price again and didn't honor the fact that I paid extra because I got the tattoo in a spot that "fades easily". Just because they can draw, doesn't mean they can tattoo!! read more

Didn't really like my experience here. Got my tragus re stretched and put in Some new jewelry. I feel like the guy doing it, was very fast and rushed through it all. Made it more painful then when i originally had it pierced. Didn't give me any cleaning instructions (even though I already knew) and just walked out and left me In The room when done. Just seemed very un professional. Can't remember his name, but he had gauges and a hoop nose ring. Also when I was waiting In the waiting room, I thought his customer service was very bad. Came here for my first Tattoo. Had been searching for the perfect script to have it in and was so excited. I told the tattoo artist what I wanted and showed the picture of the exact tattoo I wanted. She didn't care, printed out the first Google images of the symbol (not the style I wanted whatsoever) and decided that's what I was getting. I am super shy and introverted, and this woman was rude and made me feel like an idiot for even wanting this tattoo, so I was scared to speak up (my problem I know!!). Then, the tattoos lined weren't filled in completely, she said I could come back in a week to have it fixed if anything was wrong but I was so horrified by the experience I never went back. Angela is AWESOME!!! On a whim I got my nose pierced...Angela was kind, funny, professional, and answered all of my questions. She was very thorough in explaining the process and after care and made sure I felt comfortable. The process was fast, mostly painless, and my piercing looks great!
