I called around to see about dermal piercings and Ended up booking an appointment, prior to the day before coming in, was looking to get a new eye dermal put into place. Jerry, did a completely awesome job on my new eye dermal and made sure that it was perfectly flat!! He took the time to make sure my piercing would be positioned correctly, lined up in the spot .. to where I wanted it, under my eye and along my cheek bone. Everything was sanitized and in packages prior to my pricing being done. My wife found this place for our daughters 18th birthday tattoo on Yelp. It's easy to find on fourth plain, there is enough parking and the shop itself fine inside. The front door needs to be adjusted but I can forgive that. Our daughter had her choice of tattoo picked out for several months, a simple line drawing of four elephants, they charged $80. Very fair price, it took them both (my wife got the same tattoo at the same time) about 45 mins. my daughters work was done by someone who's name escapes me, sorry. My wife's work by Kevin. They both did a great job, my wife said today how little scabbing she is having and how smooth the tattoo is after just a few days. Our 18yo is thrilled with hers. She got hers on her ribs and her artist was very respectful that it was her first tattoo, making sure she was ok several times. This was a simple tattoo so I can't really speak to the artistic capabilities of the artists (the book up front showed fine artwork) but the place was clean and the people were very nice, professional and respectful to my young daughter. read more

Not only is he a super cool dude who makes you feel really comfortable and calm as he shoves needles in your face, but he knows what he's doing and gives a shit. I went in yesterday to have a tattoo done that I had scheduled in advance lol, Shellisa did a free hand drawing on my right shoulder when it was all drawn out both of us took pictures of it, the free hand looked amazing I couldn't wait for the tattoo. I got there at 12:30 we started the tattooing at 1:30 and from start to finish with about a half our break it last until 11 pm so it was about 9 1/2 hours long the longest tattoo for Shellisa and the longest I have ever sat in one place lol, I got a peacock on my right shoulder that goes down to the middle of my back Shellisa made it look so real it's like I have a peacock perched on my back it looks amazing!! She is an awesome tattooist and I highly recommend her and Alex they are both AWESOME!!!! This tattoo I got will be entered in the tattoo convention and I hope she wins otherwise the judges are blind lol. read more

This place is amazing.The atmosphere Is great. They went above and beyond for us! We walked in without an appointment we were able to have it done within the hour. Dallas our tattoo artist was wonderful, did amazing work and is exceptionally great with detail. My husband and I lost our last baby during pregnancy and wanted to get her footprints and name on our wrists. Her actual size foot print was a bit bigger than a quarter. We couldn't be happier with the way they turned out. Plus on top of everything the boss offered a 40% discount for what we had to go through. It's so nice to see guinuely good hearted people around. I will not be going there again the worst piercing ever my piercing in my noise came out 3 days later and the young girl that did my piercing charged me 30 bucks to put it back in she also did my lip piercing which got infected due to the jewelry she used was to short I had to go to a different shop to have it removed it's still very sore and their is a big knot in my upper lip due to her poor work so this place I would not recommend for piercing at all I am not happy with their work and poor workmanship read more

This review is for piercings. That being said... the girl who did my nose piercing was awesome. When I got there she was working on a tattoo and had me wait for only 15 minutes before attending me. She was nice, really quick, informative, and the pain was minimal because she knew what she was doing. And you cant beat their prices (piercing was only 25 which included the ring, plus all their stuff is around 5 bucks when you're ready to switch it up). I will def. be coming back to her for any future piercings! If you're not sure about going, go. Shes good. :] read more

I got my belly button pierced a couple years back. The original experience went great and Jerry did a good job. Although i noticed shortly after that it was slightly crooked. I called to ask Jerry if this was due to inflammation and how I can fix it and he proceeded to argue on the phone that it couldn't possibly be crooked because he had me stand to measure. I was young and it freaked me out being told I was lying so I agreed and never got it looked at by him. It is two years later and my piercing is noticeably crooked and I cannot wear standard size jewelry and struggle to find shops who size down because he pierced it wrong. I'm still bummed he didn't just help me before it got worse rather than arguing with a young girl over the phone about his piercing skills. Other shops who saw it told me to take it out before it healed and get it pierced again later on, but that sounded too painful! read more

Can't speak for their piercing or tattoo services, because I could not get it. I called Tuesday prior to Friday the 13th inquiring on piercing sales, which they told me $20 for nostril. I wanted to go here based on the high reviews so I did, confident there would be no issue since I had called. But when I got there on Friday the 13th they told me the piercing artist was not in today "but was scheduling appointments". I'm hoping this was some planning mistake as far as not having piercing artist there on an extremely popular day for piercings, but I wish I could have avoided the trip out there and gone somewhere else straight away. read more

I have all good things to say about this place! My sister and I came to Voodoo today for piercings. It happened to turn out as the piercer Jerry's day off, but when his coworkers called him and told him our situation (we live 45+ mins away from the shop and were unable to come in last Friday the 13th due to ice) he was totally down to come in and help us out. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. i got my right nostril re-pierced/stretched back to standard size, and my left nostril freshly pierced. Very clean sanitary place from the looks of it. We took 10-15 minutes evening up the two piercing dots until they were symmetrical, with no rush. He took his time getting the needle completely on the dot before piercing; (last time i got a nose piercing at a *different* shop, they didn't seem as careful and precise, and i later had so much trouble i had to take the jewelry out completely). He pierced them perfectly and I couldn't be happier. My sisters lip piercing came out amazing as well, and when she got lightheaded from it he made sure she was okay and if she needed to sit, drink water, etc. I was so amazed at how he was able to come in and help us even on his day off, and that he didn't let that bring him down or rush. I will no doubt continue returning for future piercings and tattoos to come. If you want a piercing, Jerry is the guy to see! read more

He has done four of my seven piercings as well as my sister's ears (age 5) and has been amazing every time, very knowledgeable and patient (including talking about the latest kid shows to calm my sister). Very clean!!! I recommend everyone I know to him, it can be a little difficult to schedule but I have always heard from him within a week of my inquiry and he's pretty flexible. I didn't take care of my hands, I even scrubbed them rather roughly to give them an old school faded look but they looked amazing when they were first done. I don't even want to leave one star! I'm relatively new to the area, so I did some research on where to get my nose pierced. I read some reviews about Jerry from Voodoo tattoo and they were all positive so I went there. I told him I have had my nose pierced before, and I'm looking to get a hoop, but that I can't wear a hoop at work just a stud. He told me he could taper my nose ring hole that I had from last time because its in the right spot for a ring. He said that way I can come back in a few days for the ring instead of waiting 6 months for it to heal. After a couple days I tried calling, but he was never there. I went back in person, and he wasn't there. I left my name and number for him to call back and he never did. After 3 weeks I went to hopeless ink to get a ring put in. They tried it, but told be the hole was in the wrong place. They had no idea why the other person would tell me that. Also, the stud Jerry gave me I ended up allergic to, and currently have a scar. Basically I spent $40 for a nose ring I don't have. No wonder Jerry became MIA after giving me the piercing. I'm sure he knew it was wrong!!!!! SO ANGRY! DONT GO TO HIM!!! read more

I called Voodoo to set up my initial appointment. A guy set it up for Splitzo. When I went in there, the Splitzo wasn't even there yet. Then, he and the guy who set up my appointment got in an arguement because he was double booked. Halfway through the tattoo, he admitted he was high. I only set up an appointment to get a touchup because the tattoo was $150.00 and I didn't want to pay that again at another shop. I called Splitzo's PERSONAL number, like he said to, and set up an appointment. After driving almost an hour to Vancouver, he was almost an hour late, completely ignored me, then gave me some BS excuse about something I didn't know about. Then he informed me he didn't have enough supplies to do my touch up, walked to the back and was on the phone, ignoring me for 20 minutes. I left at that point, telling the girl who works there ( Who is very nice), that I would call and reschedule. I called later that day to talk to the other gentleman about having him do my touchup instead. While trying to explain to him what happened and what I needed, he mumbled something. When I asked what he said, he replied with "You need to talk faster, there are people here." I wouldn't go here again or recommend this establishment to friends. read more

When I asked for a refund, I was told that they didn't know how to do that on the machine. They could give me a voucher to come back, but would have to wait again. I do not recommend this shop and am disappointed in the attitude of the girl at the front desk. She said "I didn't tell you 45 minutes. It was the other girl. It's busy on Friday's."
