Was looking for a Polynesian Tattoist for my boys to get their first tattoo and came across AJ. We liked his work and decided to go with him. AJ's work is clean and sharp and he does it freehand, no stencils which shows his talent. He knows what he's doing and does it with precision. He was very clean with his instruments while tattooing which is very important. My son loves his tatt and AJ did a good job at explaining how to take care of his skin for healing. The place itself was clean. Its a bit dark but it definitely gives tattoo vibes. I like seeing all the different arts and styles throughout the place. read more

I came here to get a tattoo from a very good artist that I often come here to see, today I brought my boyfriend in with me so he can get some things touched up as well, at around 3pm another artist named Sarah came into the shop (incredible late for work) , gave me the dirtiest look she could give, and walked by. Later I got up to change the song on my artists iPod, (this literally took 2 seconds), and when I got back Sarah had taken my chair RIGHT from out of me, and gave it to HER client. Didn't say a word to me, just walked away leaving me standing for the remainder of the time. (Luckily my amazing artist stopped her session to get me another chair.) Please note there were several other empty chairs open for her to take, but instead she took a paying customers seat, without asking or offering another solution. It was incredibly unprofessional, uncalled for, and immature for an employee that showed up halfway through the day to treat a customer this way. **** 20 minutes later Sarah started verbally attacking me saying that chairs are for artists nobody was sitting there and yelling at me across the store being incredibly aggressive. AT A PAYING CLIENT. I discourage anyone from getting work done by this rude, unprofessional, apprentice. (She herself is not an artist) WORST experience I have ever had at a shop and I'm sad that my artist has to endure working with her. read more

I went in to SST to get some tattoos. The artist (I won't name him) was very nice. The shop, it's dirty and cluttered. I had my first session, and he over worked several parts of the tattoo, had blow outs and fall outs. This should have been a one session tattoo. Went in for a second session, the tattooist (I refuse to call him an artist) was very late. Over worked again and still looked terrible. Went in for a 3rd session... (again, this should have been a single session tattoo) and the artist didn't show, didn't text, didn't call... I heard this is called "Island Time." Well that's a hell of a lousy way to run a business, my time is just as valuable as his. They have lost me as a customer forever. I had to pay a different artist at a different shop $150 to fix the bad tattoo this scratcher put on me. I have seen some of their work and it looked decent, what I got was terrible and like I said, being late and not showing up twice is unacceptable. read more

I was straight up scammed by these guys. I came in to get my first tattoo ever and they assigned me to an artist who I believe was named "Britney" and i continued to converse with her on the phone regarding the tattoo until we eventually scheduled and I sent the deposit. It wasn't until immediately after I sent the deposit that she then decided to mention "oh yeah by the way, I only do stick and poke" which is what they do in literal prison and they're notorious for not being as reliable as a regular tattoo. So I told her politely that I would prefer to have a regular tattoo since this is my first time and she proceeds to tell me she can't do a regular tattoo. so I had to ask for a refund on my deposit, since she neglected to inform me on important information prior to the transaction. She refused to give me a refund saying "it's the rules" even though the money was sent through Zelle with no legal obligation behind it, meaning their was literally no reason for her not to refund it other than she didn't feel like it. I couldn't believe her level of incompetence and i don't know if sinister tattoo is aware of how she conducts business but I hope they do soon because this definitely is not a good look for them. read more

My girlfriend scheduled a small simple tattoo with an artist named rob/rawb two weeks in advanced and had to reschedule due to important things that came up. We had planned to meet on a Saturday at 12pm and Rob didn't show up and didn't reply until 8pm later that evening saying he's dealing with personal things which is understandable. A day later we asked for the $100 deposit refunded and a couple days later he asked us for the venmo, we sent it to him and haven't gotten $100 since. This was all in a span of 2 weeks of messaging. I totally understand rescheduleing or cancelling and refunding your customers that you didn't tattoo but pretending that they will refund you and just go on with their life is really inconsiderate and not cool. read more

Amazing shop, very clean, nicely decorated, and so many talented artists! Everyone who works there is really friendly and welcoming. They make you feel very comfortable, which I appreciated because I was a little nervous. I was tattoo'd by Antonio and he was very precise, drew up what I wanted and made sure I was completely happy with it before getting it done. He took his time and was careful to make sure all the details were done correctly. My tattoo turned out beautiful and I am going back to add on to it in a few weeks. Would give 0 stars if I could. My mom and my aunt went here innocently enough to get shamrock tattoos. Daniel was the one that did theirs and he fucked up miserably. My mom's tattoo is not symmetrical at all and there are a bunch of mistakes where the color went outside the black outline. And after ONE DAY of having the tattoo, my aunt had to go to urgent care because it got infected and was put on antibiotics. She has gotten tattoos before and she knows how to take care of it, so it isn't her fault, the infection is a very large red and black bruise under the skin. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I was supposed to be tattooed by liz, @elizabethg.ink (insta), but instead was cancelled on, told I had an additude problem and made to feel like her inability to properly schedule clients was my fault. She didn't offer a refund. Nor an actual apology until after shitting on me as a client. She told me I didnt understand how tattoos are scheduled or how the law worked around reopening, which admittedly i don't. Thats why i sought a professional to communicate those things to me. Too bad I didn't find one in her. There are too many good artist around here to get a tattoo from such an unprofessional person, hop across the river, or find another shop in vanc to save yourself headache and money. read more

NEVER GO HERE!!! Never in my life have I ever heard of a more deplorable, unprofessional, or disgusting 'tattoo parlor'. My mother went in for a fairly simple, and small tattoo and was assured that it could be done no problem. On the day of the appointment, arriving in a t-shirt and jeans, was told "why aren't you wearing the sexy outfit from your consultation? I don't get to see a sexy outfit while I have to tattoo you?" Obviously she was uncomfortable by this, but shrugged it off, seeing as how she had already placed a $300 deposite. The tattoo took almost five hours, and during this time my mother was not allowed to look at her tattoo, if she turned her head her arm was jerked back, and her shoulder hit being told "don't look, just keep your head forward." Whenever she winced in pain, or commented on the pain, she was told to "stop being such a p***y, and suck it up" by her artist, as well as other artists in the shop. She was only allowed one short break, and while standing outside another customer, and artist were discussing violent, and disgusting sexual acts, and making lude comments towards my mom. Several other artists joked that if she went into the back, and let her artist take naked photos of her, that she would probably get a better price. The entire time the tattoo was happening, her artist was drinking alcohol, and would slip the empty single shot bottles into her purse, stating "don't want the boss to see this." By the time the tattoo was finally over, she was told "this would have been better, if you weren't such a little p***y b***h. Now get out and don't forget to tip." Her tattoo was badly wrapped, and taped in a way that was painful and caused irritation to her skin and fresh tattoo. The tattoo was sloppy, ink and stencil were not cleaned away to the point that we couldn't even see what he had done. All in all I am disgusting, and I will be contacting the Clark County Public Health department about the alcohol consumption, as well as the Better Business Bureau about the horrible missconduct. I will be posting this review on every platform I can, as well as telling everyone in search of a tattoo shop to stay away. read more

He was professional, friendly and was constantly reassuring my guy that his tattoo was looking great since his tattoo was a very important memorial piece.
