I had a really weird special request for a shut-in family member (I live in Seattle) and he went absolutely above and beyond (he went to FOUR different stores to try to find one of the specific asks) to make that weird order possible. I'm housebound because of the coronavirus. Friends pick up things for me but I struggle with how to make reimbursement. I tried Eureka Grocery Delivery today and was delighted. The did a Costco delivery. I sent them an email with the items I wanted the night before. I made sure to indicate when substitutions could be made and when they couldn't. Christo called while in Costco because one item was no longer carried and another was out of stock and I had made no indication regarding substitutions. I appreciated his call. I had sent him a picture of where to come into the property to avoid a long walk to the house and he followed instructions completely. The change over was quick. I had ordered two containers of cat litter weighing a total of 72# and several other items that were relatively heavy. It was worth having that stuff inside the house. Note: the prices on his website aren't accurate. The price is $25 for deliveries valued at $125 or less. If your purchase is over $125, the delivery fee is a straight 20%. There may be a small additional fee for a stop at a second store. Not bad. Costco prices for home delivery are about 33% over store prices. Not a service that I need a lot but it would be worth it when I'm buying my usual monthly purchase of pet supplies. Easier on my back. read more

Christo is very nice and usually on time with your food and supplies. He charges 20% of whatever your bill at the store is. He occasionally forgets certain items or can't find them in the store. The only way to improve his service, in my humble opinion would be for him to give you a note of what he can't find. Also, if he were to check off what he bought (from your list) then he might avoid missing some things. Specificity is important when ordering...for instance, if you order ground coffee, you may get canned coffee. I want freshly ground coffee (organic + free trade) so I try to make that plain. For those who are tremendously busy; the infirm elderly; and the disabled this is all there is around here. And Christo packs everything into his refrigerated van, with 'Eureka Grocery Delivery' on the sides and it is truly a luxury and a necessity in one. Thank you Christo. (:-D) read more

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 my wife & I have been using Eureka Grocery Delivery, Christo is great. Just make your list of the brands and items you want, email to him, and most times the next day your groceries are delivered to your home. It's a fantastic service especially in these uncertain times. If your disabled, senior or just need a hand with the shopping Christo is there. He also takes credit cards. He charges $25.00 minimum delivery. We are truly happy with his service & highly recommend him to anyone. read more

I have been using EGD for several weeks. LOVE! Hannah helps me so much! I give her my list, fresh groceries arrive at a convenient time for me. I am saving money and time, eating healthier proportions and fresher food as well as eating out less often. I no longer worry about making time for the store. I don't make unnecessary impulse purchases. Generally, Hannah shops for me twice a week. I don't see a reason to ever stop this. I understand that in the near future she will be delivering freshly made healthy meals from a local caterer. I am looking forward to sampling those. read more

I am skeptical about writing this review because I have been a loyal customer for almost a year and at first things were great. Very helpful when I lost my car last year and got stuck out in King Salmon. BUT the last 3 deliveries have been very disappointing and this time literally half of my shopping list was changed without my consent and he just blames it on Winco not having what is on my shopping list. I think that's absurd and that he is either lazy and not looking or he is purposely not getting things that I might have a coupon for so that I don't get to benefit from my coupons. I'm not sure what I am going to do but I don't think I trust him enough to continue business with him. read more
