I normally try to give the benefit of the doubt, but the level to which I got screwed over even days after I visited this place is insane. My check engine light was on and they told me they could look at it. I waited there for at least 2 hours before I left with the promise that they'd call me later to update me on my car. They never did. I ended up calling them hours later to find out they hadn't even looked at my car and that they'd be keeping it overnight. Again they promised to call me the next day to update me on my car, which again, they never did. I had to call them to find out what was going on and was told that one of my tires was messed up too even though I'd just had them checked not that long ago and they were fine. When I got there they showed me my tire which had a good chunk taken of it out. I know for a fact that my tires hadn't been like that when I walked in and none of their explanations seemed to be adding up so I just paid the diagnostic fee and got my car out of there. Yesterday my coworker's dad, who works on cars, looked at the pictures I'd taken of the tire and said that the tears looked too clean and precise to be made by something I hit on the street. Today I remembered I have a spare in my trunk and realized they never asked if I had one or offered to put it on, despite the fact that they said they'd examined every inch of my car, inside and out. This was not worth the stress and money. I'd advise anyone who reads this to stay away from this place. read more

Took my car in and was told I would receive a call back the next day with a plan. No call so I called again and was told the same thing, and this happened for a third time. Never did receive a call back. Kept my car over the weekend and literally had to go by on Monday so see that it had been pulled into a bay and they could still not tell me one darn thing. Asked them to back it out and I would pick it up which I did. After three promised call backs and keeping my car for five days I had enough. Lots of people in the front office so no excuse for not keeping me informed; however, it must be the way they do things around there. I can't really critique their work as they never got around to doing anything. Total waste of my time. read more

I took my Jaguar to this shop to have it looked at because periodically it would smoke. They diagnosed that my car needed a new valve cover and belts because it was leaking oil and dripping on exhaust and that what was causing it to smoke. They quoted me a price of $4500 to fix. I left there and stopped at the car lot where I bought my car. They looked at my car and told my it was my oil filter. Where I had been getting my oil changed had not been changing my filter to it was leaking oil. They changed the filter out, power washed under neath my car washed my car at the cost of $31. God is good. I'm not bashing this company but just be careful. I wonder if they knew it was just my oil filter all along and was just saying it was my valve cover and was just gonna charge me up. The Check Engine Light (CEL) came back again within a month even after Peter replaced the air valve charging me around 400. Called him to schedule as it is still under warranty. He said I had to leave my vehicle for a week or two so he can look at and no loaner car also will be provided. I will have to try calling him to see if he is not that busy and can service it faster. Will call him this week and update the review! THIS IS AN UPDATE TO THE ABOVE REVIEW I have scheduled the service for CEL and this time Peter mentioned that Air Injection Valve needed replaced to fix the CEL. It was done for the cost of parts about $650 and he offered LABOR free of cost as it was 2nd time CEL was being fixed up. The service was completed within 2 days and so far the CEL did not come back (so I assume it has been fixed right this time). read more

Peter and George are great! Have an 06' Audi A4 and the starter died. I'm a big fan of DIY and diagnosed the issue and tried to accomplish this myself and after an hour or so of trying to get the starter out decided to call Euro Automotive on the advice of a family friend. I spoke to both Peter and George and they assured me they would double check to be sure my diagnoses was correct and quoted me a price that was only about $150 more than the starter cost (I sourced for the part online and at Audi Dallas and there was no huge difference). They had the car for a few days and kept me posted on progress. In the end they were able to fix the car and at a rate that made it worth letting someone do it for me. Being mechanically inclined and doing a lot of my own work I feel confident in recommending these guys. They have a great reputation and in my experience were professional which gave me a good feeling doing business with them. I brought my Volvo in on 2 separate occasions for a/c repair (Approx $1000 total). I dropped the car off on a tuesday and picked it up the following tuesday. When I arrived, I noticed damage to the front of the car and notified the clerk. After they put the car on the rack to inspect, I was told the damage was old and they were not responsible. I told them the car is 14 years old (only 70k miles) so there was some wear & tear, but nothing like this, and this was not the condition i dropped the car off in. I was essentially called a liar. On top of that the radio station was changed, and I believe the bass speakers may be blown. The car was obviously taken on some sort of joyride, and the a/c still isn't working properly. All they did was re-attach the rubber piece that was hanging off. Do not bring your car here. If you do, make sure you take a video of the engine running and a 360 degree video of the car so you will have proof of any damage that occurred while in this business's possession. read more

I brought an Audi S5 at Euro Automotive for a pre-purchase inspection (I think it was Peter who received the car). After the inspection, I was told that the vehicle was running good, and the only parts that needed to be replaced were the upper control arm bushings, since they were cracked/torn. I asked whether this would be covered by the vehicles warranty, and they said that it's not, since it's considered wear & tear! The quote they gave me was around $1600!!! 1 week later, the bushings were replaced by Audi Dallas under warranty. Go figure. read more

Leaving a bad review is that last thing I ever want to do but we don't want any one else to have the same experience. We brought in a 2006 Range Rover that needed its BMW engine replaced. They did the $9408.77 job including a $4500(extremely high) engine charge. The PCV valve was not replaced and oil separator hose came off on the highway and blew the motor 2 days after leaving the shop. The engine was replaced under warranty but took from beginning of July to October to replace. The second motor did not even last through the year before it began having problems with the timing chain. We are now rebuilding the top in the garage of my home. For $9400 you would want to drive a vehicle more than 3 months. read more

I am usually skeptical of auto service shops, and especially wary of car dealership shops so the experience with Peter and Euro changed my long held distrust of this process. I brought in my aging Mercedes suffering from rough running and not having any experience with mechanical fuel injection I could only imagine the worst case scenario, multiple components needing replacing or repair, flux capacitors beyond service life, and any other myriad ailments described in vague terms and warnings of impending loss of life if not repaired immediately. So my surprise that Peter calming offered to look into the rough driving issue and call before doing any work and gave a solid time frame to boot. Peter called back in 5 days instead of seven had diagnosed the issue, that was shocked in how reasonable the quote to repair was. Next day i arrived to pick it up, peter tossed me the keys and asked that i drive it around abit and them come back in to see if I was satisfied. The old car was transformed and drove beautifully. I would absolutely recommend this place. I have had lots of car trouble in the past and brought my cars to countless mechanics all over the Dallas area. I kept feeling a little bit out of the loop or a nagging feeling I was being ripped off by mechanics because I don't have the knowledge about cars to ask the right questions or call them out...and sure enough every few months my car would have to go back into the shop...but this is not true of euro automotive at all. The guys there were super helpful and friendly and gave me great expert advice as well as a detailed print out of what was wrong. The service was very fast too and they got back to me right away. An unknown neighbor with a similar car (Cayenne) stopped in my driveway to discuss cars and gave me Peter's card. Turns out a week earlier I'd been to the dealer for a starter and found that I needed motor mounts and a valve cover gasket replaced. When I called EuroAutomotive, I was told they had loaner vehicles, which I've never heard of from an indy. I had the motor mounts and both valve covers replaced for $300 less than estimate from the dealer on the motor mounts alone. Within a few days, I noticed a few drops of fresh oil on the driveway. I called Peter, and he arranged for his mechanic to drive to my office in a loaner, and took the Cayenne back and replaced the leaking new gasket (of course under warranty). I just called to check the status - Ricky is driving the car back to me and picking up the loaner. By the way, the loaner cars aren't new cars; but they are sure better that having to have your wife take you and drop you off, taking a cab, or hoofing it. I've been looking for an indy like this for a long time. Be a nice guy and it will be returned manifold. read more

I own a Porsche Turbo and my wife has a Mercedes-Benz ML350. I service both cars with Euro Automotive. Frankly, we all expect service to be done properly and in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, this never happens. Both cars have been not only taken care of earlier than expected, but only the items needing repair were serviced and at a fair price. We see too often that the "flux capacitor" needs replaced when in fact in it something significantly less or nothing at all. Peter is one of the few who does it right. Took my 745BMW in for a full work up over 5700.00 dollars of work I asked them to fix the leaks and that wasn't done and kept having issues with my check engine light had to take it back 2 to 3 times for them to fix it. when I brought it back for the leaks he said he didn't say he would fix all the leaks.. he tried to charge me another 500.00 plus for doing that... DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP OR PETER LIARS.... I am having to take my car to another shop and they are laughing at me for what I spent on some of this work I clearly didn't need. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP!!! I was refered by an old friend. My Porsche needed an oil change. They told me I had a bad oil leak, and the repair would cost $8,00.00, and take them about 10 days to do the job...I took my car to a Porsche repair shop. It took them 2 hours to find the leak, replace a leaking oil hose, and the charge was $479.00. Super nice techs that explained all that they did and showed me the part that they replaced. read more
