I happened to be in this neighborhood that I generally avoid, waiting for my laptop to be fixed. So I swung by and got in to the warm welcome from the owner(?). They had five barbers working. Granted I was a walk-in but after seeing several people come in and get seated with "I just called" or "hello there" (a regular?), etc. I got tired of waiting and got up and left. A poor customer experience. They should let walk-ins know how long they might have to wait or at least have the common courtesy to accommodate walk-ins after they have waited long enough. That is how every business I know with walk-ins works -- doctors, barbers, etc. Smiles are great. But there's no substitute for a quick "in and out" experience at a barbershop. This is a girlfriend review. Came with bf and waited while he got called for his appointment. Very friendly and attentive staff and great air conditioning to combat the summer heat. I don't know much about men's hair n beard stuff but all I can say is that the result looked great and felt nice too. Girlfriend approved! I just went here for the first time today. I recently moved and needed a new barber. I asked the OG there, Pops, if he could give me a skin fade, and showed a picture of one on my phone. He told me, "That's not a skin fade, but if you want I'll do a skin fade." He was right, I didn't know what a skin fade was. But he did, as he proceeded to finesse one of the best skin fades I have ever witnessed. He really did an amazing job that I had to write a review. Such a nice environment too. Review that has been needed for a while now. Better late than never I guess! First off I have no reason not to give them 5 stars. I've gone 3 times so far and have had a great experience each time! Especially such a great price, I hope they never have to raise them lol Inflation not looking hot though. Moreover, I really like them because they don't give "cookie cutter" haircuts. Every other barbershop I go to essentially just gives the same cut and style over and over again. If I ever need to update this review in the future I will, but I highly recommend just giving it a try and experiencing the cut for yourself. So he picked the Euro barber (proximity to our apartment, reviews, and cost ($25 including tips) and had his hair cut at the Euro Barber Shop. Went to get a regular men's haircut today. The barber did a great job. At the end of the haircut, I asked how much I owed him. "$24", he said. I paid him accordingly, and as I walked out of the barber shop, I called and asked how much a regular men's haircut costs. The man on phone replied "A regular men's haircut is $22." I moved to NYC August 5th, a new city requires a new clean cut. I immediately looked on Yelp for a nearby but top rated barber shop and found Euro Barber. The other reviews were right, these guys enjoy what they do and love to have a chat. My barber was Gary, you can tell he's big into working out and looks up to the Schwarzenegger by pasting his headshot over Schwarzenegger's body in Predator haha. You know these guys are good cause all seats are full and you have to wait. At $12, I gave Gary a $3 tip because he gave me a good cut though it was a bit short. Not his fault cause I wasn't specific in the exact type of hairstyle I wanted.
