We take pride in keeping a clean house, but Martin from Euro Eco House Cleaning took it to another level! I was stunned to see how sparkly our house could be. No one likes shopping for cleaners - there's so many companies out there and they all have all sorts of policies and guidelines. My roommate and I were getting ready to move out and we needed the place clean. Two guys in one apartment, in a space where we practically did very little cleaning. Believe me, it was a mess. We all know how strict apartment communities are when it comes to moving out - so we combed through countless companies and read all the reviews before coming down to Euro Eco Cleaning. I sent out a few quote requests and they were among the first companies to respond promptly - on a Saturday, no less. Lenka was very prompt in all her exchanges with me through texting, and was able to confirm an appointment for us the following Tuesday (today) at 12pm. They did change the appt time to 1230pm - but it wasn't that big of a deal since I had the afternoon blocked out for the cleaners anyway - and they notified us well in advance. There is a minimum charge of $105 - but they were very understanding with working within our student budget (we basically wanted to cap it at 2 hours tops). The crew arrived promptly at 12:30pm. Like most apartment communities, guest parking is a nightmare, so they had to unload their supplies and then move their car to the guest parking lot. The crew were very understanding. They went to work right away after I pointed out the areas that needed priority - mainly, the kitchen and the bathroom. The 2-person crew worked diligently and efficiently. I only checked up on them once and both were busy scrubbing away. They finished well below the estimated time and managed to complete the areas I designated as "less-priority". I did a complete walk-through and not only does the apartment smell much nicer and pleasant, but the stains I thought were impossible to remove in the kitchen were all gone. The stovetop is cleaned. The floors are clean. The bathroom that used to be so scary we had to walk with slippers when using it - spotlessly clean. I walked into it barefoot and nothing sticky or gross on my feet!! Very impressed with the service, the ease of making an appointment, and the level of interaction between myself and the manager, Lenka. It was very easy to text her asking questions or concerns. The crew were friendly and professional throughout. They definitely deserve the high marks/rating that their cleaning business has at the moment. I admit, I'm always a bit wary when it comes to businesses that have five-star reviews from brand new Yelp accounts - but the service and job completed today definitely makes me feel that Euro Eco Cleaning does indeed deserve every bit of the five-stars. I have been with Euro Eco House Cleaning for almost three years with Petra and Anita coming twice a month. I've recommended them to others because they are SO good! During covid they have been safe and respectful. My husband is now working from home most of the time so they have to work around him and his schedule. They do this easily and get the job done without disturbing him. They are also so sweet to my cats and new puppy! If anything gets missed in your cleaning and you bring it up with them, you will be blamed for it, and treated atrociously. The evidence is below. Keep in mind--if you don't get a full clean like you paid for, and you ask them about it, would you want to be treated the way I have been? That's the chance you are taking by using this company. Original review: Didn't mop any of my floors, and I asked about whether it was included and they told me it was, so I let them know that my floors were not mopped, and they came back saying yes they were (even though I was there the whole time and no floors were wet and there was still gunk on the floor in the kitchen etc), which I told them, and they said "he has no reason to lie, they were 100% mopped", as if I was accusing the maid of lying or making this all up...ummm, actually I give people the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he just forgot is all, but after such rude customer service, who knows. Absolutely excellent customer service and cleaning crew! I recently moved into a new home and needed help cleaning the place. I'm a very particular person who insists on a clean and tidy home, and therefore stressed out over trying to find the right home cleaning service that'd get the job done to my standards. With the many other cleaning services out there with very good to excellent reviews, I bit the bullet and went with my gut feeling in contacting Euro Eco; and I'm glad I did. Petra replied my e-mail requesting further information about their services and their rates. She was totally friendly, helpful, and professional in answering my questions....so I went ahead and arranged a date for an initial cleaning. Bookings needed to be made well in advance (up to a week) or you'll either have to take whatever time slots are still available, or hope hope becomes available. From the sounds of it, they're filled with appointments up to a week in advance; most of whom are regulars (I'm told). Petra sent over Gabriella and Martin and they were on time (within the 8-8.15am) window given to me. I was home working at the time and because of the open layout of my home, I could watch over their work. They were very efficient and thorough in getting into spaces I didn't even expect them to get to.....just the way I like it! :) Martin was in his own world carrying out his share of the cleaning while plugged in to his iPod....the concentration on his work was obvious 100% total dedication. Gabriella was also very efficient in dusting the counter and furniture, wiping cabinet doors, sweeping mopping the floors. Gabriella was very friendly and we actually chatted quite a bit while she did her cleaning, which I found a pleasure. Ok, technically she should have been concentrating on her work, but I guess she's good at multi-tasking :) They were done in 2 hours and I ended up paying them $30 each per hour. I liked that I had a choice to pay either by check, credit card, or cash. I paid by check. Once they left I went around to inspect the work they'd done. All I can say is that the place smelled clean, fresh, and absolutely spotless. I couldn't have done a better job myself. My friends decided to buy me a 3-hour deep cleaning for my house before our second baby was born, and I was very happy with Euro Eco Cleaning! The owner got back to me quickly to secure a time/date, and was very patient with me when I had to change the date on her a couple times. On the day of the cleaning, two people showed up on my doorstep right on time. I asked them to focus mostly on the bathrooms, but they did a pretty thorough job everywhere else too. November 2018 We had an amazing lady come out to clean our house a couple of days before Thanksgiving. She did a fantastic job!! Our house was spotless. She worked quickly, efficiently, and I didn't have to check up on her. I let her know what I needed and she went to work. Our stove, that I had cleaned the day before, was SPOTLESS. Some worked out great, and some others did not. The cleaner showed up on time, which is great. Communication via message on Yelp was good, and cleaner was super nice. She did a 1 bedroom+2 bathrooms in 3 hours. They are just a bit expensive and when they state in their profile that they don't clean upholstery they really mean it! I thought they would at least vacuum it (literally, a 30 second job), but I was left with a sofa full of fur. That was a bit disappointing, hence the 4 stars. But the rest was very good! read more

I'm on vacation and staying at my mom's house for the month. Her house cleaners came yesterday and when I got home it looked like they barely cleaned. They are charging her $90 every two weeks and doing a very minimal cleaning. There were still sticky spills on the hard floors, the kitchen appliances weren't wiped down, and the carpets did not appear to be vacuumed. I was not impressed. I'm now looking for a new house keeper for my mom. 2-23-14 Update The owner of the company saw this review and took immediate action. She sent somebody back out to my mom's house to clean and had them clean the oven as well as an apology for the previous cleaning. The lady that came out to fix the mistakes was amazing and did a fantastic job. I really appreciate any company that is willing to fix their mistakes and not blame the customer. Really the worst cleaning service experience ever! Petra sent a nice Eastern European lady who spoke NO English and was a very low energy person. Since she charges by the hour, you do the math, it ended up costing me a lot, and she didn't even really ever finish. Overall really bad experience. At least she didn't break anything, so I'll count myself lucky and keep looking for someone good! Since I posted this review the owner, Petra, contacted me and refunded my cleaning fee. She was very nice and told me the unfortunate lady she sent out is being retrained and working on better language skills. So great, very satisfied with the way Petra handled this mess up. read more

i really appreciate businesses that take customer service very seriously and Petra at Euro Eco House Cleaning is proof of that! I received a very nice message from Petra apologizing for the cleaning misunderstanding and that she wanted to right the wrong. She graciously offered to send someone out to finish the job. Gabriela showed up on my doorstep to clean my kitchen and the last remaining bathroom that was missed on the previous appointment. I told Gabriela that the stove was the main focal point of what i needed cleaned in my kitchen and she did warn me that she might not be able to get it at 100%. i appreciated her honesty and her straightforwardness before she started the job though. no she didnt get it at 100% but it was definitely much much better than it was before and she did mention that if she got another cleaning opportunity next time that it would be perfect so thats something i need to consider haha so now i have a completely cleaned house and i really do have to thank Petra for taking the time and consideration to read my review and to rectify the situation. both the cleaning crew and the customer service at Euro Eco House Cleaning is top notch and i can definitely recommend to others! read more

Petra contacted me within an hour of my initial review below apologizing and scheduling an additional cleaning for me. Her customer service skills are amazing and I'm looking forward to giving them another try as I can tell they are a well run company and that my experience was extremely rare and not an indication of how they run their business. Team was very nice and on time, however I paid for a deep clean and expected that meant everything would be "touched" , but upon inspection when I got home several spots were still incredibly dusty, the baseboards hardly looked cleaned, and places like under the bed, behind the couch, and behind the toilet weren't even cleaned at all. I have hired cleaning companies in the past and everything was indeed moved and cleaned during a deep clean so that I couldn't find one speck of dust anywhere. I am disappointed as I still spent another hour cleaning after they had left. Simple things like the window sills and blinds were still very dusty so I'm not even sure they were cleaned at all. But again the cleaner was very nice and on time, but I don't feel like I got my money's worth or anything close to a "deep clean". Bummed because it is really important to me that the cleaning products are natural as I have two young kids, so I was going to set up some sort of recurring service with them but now not going to as I didn't receive the level of cleaning I expected. read more

I really wish I could leave my 5-star rating as it is but after a few recent cleanings, I have to revise. Petra (the owner) is still very nice and a great person. However it's not always Petra that comes to clean but others that she sent. The ladies she sent are also very nice and polite people but I can't overlook the lack of attention to details anymore. Either way the following things happened that has caused me to deduct a couple stars. * They were late 3 times. 2 out of 3 times they were 30 minutes late. This becomes a problem as I pay on a hourly basis of $25/hour/person. * Each time the ceiling fan was not dusted. One time I reminded her to dust the ceiling fan at the end. She left and I thought all was well. Later in the day, I went to the dining room to get ready to eat and I found dust all over my dining room table, chairs, and floors. I realized this was from her dusting the ceiling fan. The dust fell everywhere and I had to end up cleaning the dining room again. * Not moving the items back in place. It doesn't take much effort to move items that were dusted back into place. However I always end up trailing her to move items back. This is very irritating because I have to clean up all the items that got moved because they are all over the table. * My cell phone was dropped on the ground when she picked it up to dust the counter. * I had a couple candles in the room during the cleaning. One of the candles was moved and left under my houseplant. My poor plant almost bursted into flames. It was a good thing I live in a small place and I walked by the plant and saw it was turning black. My poor plant now has a charred leaf. Hence I have to deduct a couple stars. ===== Updated 7/8/2013 - Petra contacted me and have taken note of my concerns. I have increased a star because she does try very hard to make things work out for her customer.
