After posting a one star review last week, the owner Fari Moritz from Eurokitchen has contacted me and is attempting to rectify the issue. I'll be sure to update you on the progress.....she was sincere and was determined to find out where the communication issue occurred....definitely an A+ for effort for Fari! I will add, that this review was not meant to demean or hurt Eurokitchen but to give my fellow Yelpers an accurate account of what happened to me. Although the parts have been ordered by Siematic Pirch Glendale, Fari of EuroKitchen has agreed to install the parts to rectify the problem. I do strongly feel that this will have a happy ending. For the sake of transparency, here is my original one star review: The Siematic brand makes great cabinets and will make your kitchen or office space look amazing! Sadly this particular establishment Eurokitchen has very poor service practices so be warned that after your beautiful kitchen starts aging, they won't return your calls for repairs. I called about 4 times over a course of a year to have some of my "self closing" drawers and air pump overhead bar doors repaired. The receptionist answers in a very apathetic tone and just takes a message. Sadly, no one ever calls back! He's the only one that seems to pick up so be warned when you have a gorgeous SieMatic kitchen put in and need service repairs from Euro Kitchen. I would suggest contacting the SieMatic retailer in Glendale. You are in good hands with Fari and Claude Moritz. The logistics of completing any kind of remodeling or construction project on Catalina Island is daunting. They have the experience and professionalism to get it done, but also the patience and graciousness. Communication is the best, and they insisted on getting the best results out of our contractor for the project. The installers, Clark and Mesha, are dedicated craftsmen who represent the company well. I LOVE my Siematic kitchen. The pieces were delivered well-wrapped for the voyage by barge to the island. Every small detail was considered and if anything was missing, the solution was quick. My sister-in-law used Euro Kitchen over 20 years ago and her installation is still as relevant and fresh and functional as it was when it was installed. I cannot gush enough about this company!!! My husband and I started interviewing kitchen designers in 2006. We spent 1 1/2 years bouncing from designer to designer with no luck. The designs were depressing and remedial, to say the least. The products were pricey beyond anything we were prepared to pay for. One Orange County cabinet company told us if we wanted soft close drawers, it would be an additional $150 a drawer on top of the 120k quote they had already given us! By the way...Euro kitchens offers soft close drawers as a standard option. :-) I had been visiting the Euro Kitchen showroom off and on for about 10 years...they had my dream kitchen on display. I phoned my husband at work one day and told him I was going in to talk to the designers @ Euro Kitchens. His response was, "If these other remedial cabinet companies are quoting us such exorbitant prices, there's NO WAY we're going to be able to afford Siematic cabinets." As I'm typing this I have a huge grin on my face because Fari and Claude @ Euro Kitchens proved that theory wrong! I called on EVERY reference they gave me...everyone gushed, not only about the cabinets, but about how incredibly wonderful Fari and Claude are as people. My husband and I toured kitchens that they had designed...they were breathtaking! We held our breath for the dreaded quote, and were shocked when we were presented a kitchen layout that was twice the size of the previous designers' we had spoken to, and at 1/4 the cost...and a TON more bells and whistles! I am typing this review from a pullout desk that sits hidden behind two gorgeous floor-to-ceiling frosted glass doors with floor-to-ceiling ladder back stainless steel handles. I am typing this from my DREAM kitchen. Fari and Claude presented us with a design that literally took my breath away for the first time in out extensive search! Do not waste your time spinning wheels with other companies. Fari and Claude are truly artists. The Siematic line of cabinetry offers endless options. Fari and Claude offer endless options of artistry! Our Architectural plans and permits for an entire home remodel dragged on for 1 1/2 years after we signed the contract with Fari and Claude. Their prices went up in that time period...but they did NOT pass on the price hike to us...that's just who they are. When their installers came, they presented us with extras I did not order. As a kitchen warming gift, Fari and Claude ordered a beautiful, custom wood insert for a three foot utensil drawer, complete with knife inserts, saran & foil inserts/cutters...the works. Euro Kitchen's installers said that's just what they do...their philosophy is to give the customer more than they expected. In addition, Fari & Claude came by for a visit & brought a beautiful Allesi tea pot for our new kitchen. They are incredibly generous and thoughtful people. In addition, they made sure every drawer and cabinet door was fitted with soft-close hinges. They also threw in a hidden kick drawer, and a hidden stool drawer. They installed inserts in every drawer we wanted them in...a nice addition I did not expect hen I ordered the cabinets! Their installers are amazing guys, and I would actually go so far as to say they have become friends of the family! They have come to my home countless times to help me customize features in my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. They built a custom shelf in my desk area for cookbooks...just because...free of charge. They are all just genuinely good people! Claude recommended a counter top fabrication company to us by the name of R.K.Morris from San Juan Capo. They have such an over-the-top attention to detail that you cannot even see the seams in our counters! Their lines and cuts are immaculate. They fabricated the beautiful waterfall table and counter tops that Claude designed...again, their workmanship took my breath away! You cannot go wrong with this company. I live in a little tract home in Laguna Niguel...yet they made me feel like I as their most important priority throughout this whole process. They do custom kitchens for multimillion dollar estates in Newport Coast, CA...Europe, Hawaii...all over the world. Clients actually fly Euro-Kitchens' installers out to their "additional homes" because they are so good at what they do...there is no need to bother with any other kitchen company! read more

Claude and Fari are the maestros of clean-line, under-stated elegance!!! Take it from a very satisfied cleint, NEVER second-guess their design aesthetic. They are always open to suggestions, however, remember why you hired award-winning designers. You'll be most pleased if you let them do what they do better than anyone else on the planet. We bulit a custom home in Corona del Mar a few years ago. Euro Kitchens was referred to us by a friend. At the time of our introduction, we had already engaged another firm to design our kitchen and baths. (That was in additon to a team of architects/designers that handled everything else). The kitchen and baths were fully designed and cabinets had been ordered...but something just didn't feel right. We knew our kitchen would be a very prominent component of our home and one of the first things you would see when you walked in. When we met for the first time, we gave Claude and Fari "very simple" boundaries, "We envisioned that the kitchen would become the heart and soul of our home, but we don't want it to look, or operate, like a conventional kitchen. And please, DO NOT design it look like a model home kitchen." We did have a budget, but requested that they design like we did not. We figured that we could always scale back certain items post-design - if we had to (we didn't). Claude/Fari always arrived on time and always dressed like they had just flown in from Paris, or Fifth Ave. Again, simple elegance is their aesthetic. Two days following our first on-site meeting, a free-hand elevation was e-mailed. The aesthetics and functionality (we actually planned on using our kitchen) were simply brilliant . The design was clean, soft-modern and artful. Just what we had imagined in our mind's eye. We agreed to the sketch-phase with no changes. Claude and Fari next presented a scaled, full-color CADD poster and pricing. The pricing/production scheduling were extremely fair. After a few minor tweaks, we signed up and were "off to the races". BTW, if you hold the original CADD drawing up to our completed kitchen, it looks like they shot an advance photogragh. When you review the CADD, that's exactly what your finished product will look like - down to the faucets. It's uncanny. Euro Kitchens and Baths also utilizes an amazing group of venders (stainless steel fabrication, counter tops, installers, etc.) that produce equally perfect work. Now that the kitchen has been in everyday use for three years, it still looks as brilliant as it did the day it was installed. All of our friends/family love spending time in it. We have had 20+ friends in the kitchen all at the same time and it flows like a stream. If designed correctly, the modern-day kitchen is the place in the home that you tend to spend the most time in (excluding sleeping,etc.). We also recently completed the additon of a wet bar and 8' x 2' fireplace by Claude and Fari. Again, we could not be happier with their magnificient work! They treat every job like its their legacy. I have 12-year-old Siematic hydraulic cabinets that would not stay open. I had not purchased these cabinets from Euro Kitchen & Bath and was having trouble getting repair help from the kitchen designer who did sell them to me. While visiting Laguna Beach I went into Euro Kitchen to ask for advice. Within a week Fari ordered the needed parts (from photos and measurements I emailed her) and had them shipped to my house (I live 60 miles from Laguna). She put me in contact with Nelson, a great installer she knew in my area. My cabinets now work perfectly again, thanks to Fari and Nelson. It was a pleasure to work with such knowledgable, efficient, professionals. I very much appreciated their willingness to help with a repair, on a project that was not theirs originally. If you are considering a kitchen remodel, the team at Euro Kitchen and Bath in Laguna Beach is simply the best. They may cost slightly more than competing bids but know that they will hold your hand through the entire complicated process with incredible results. In our case, given that everything was completed perfectly the first time, I believe we ultimately came out well ahead economically. We absolutely love our kitchen and it's the envy of all of our friends and family. Everything was delivered and installed on time and under budget. Most importantly, Claude and Fari Moritz (owners) are just wonderful people who time and again have demonstrated their high integrity and a commitment to perfection. read more
