Ok, I was working on my car today and I discovered another crappy workmanship by Devon... My glove box hasn't been closing properly. So way back when I was in still in PA I asked Devon to check it out. well, they did but the fix was temporary and after a few weeks, my glove box wasn't closing well again. So I bought this WIS net (MB service/repair manual) CD off ebay.uk and started looking for remedy. It turns out that there was ONE screw, covered by the 6 disc CD player, that was LOOSE. Watch out I dropped off my S500 over the Labor Day weekend for diagnostics related to suspension problem that I purchased from an out of state dealer 10 days prior. A few days later got a phone call with the estimated cost and the person was very courteous and professional. After understanding the problem, I wanted to explore other options including sending the car back to the dealer I bought the car from 10 days prior to this. I called to pick-up the car and when I got home, I noticed the car was hit (minor bent) near the front wheel. I called the dealer and they start denying and asking me to prove that the car was damaged while at Mercedes lot. I sent them pictures and very important: The car has grease fingerprints right above the damaged area. Euro Motorcars Devon continues to deny and take any responsibility. I asked the person (nameless at this point) to check again with technicians and review the cameras. He promised to check again and will let me know. I hope they will do good and take the responsibility. If they do will change the rating proving it is worth sending our expensive cars to be serviced by them. Let's see what happens. I remain optimistic. BTW... they did not charge me for the diagnostic service. read more

I purchased a vehicle from Euro Motorcars on Wednesday, January 31. After a dissapointing series of exchanges in negotiations I decided on a vehicle that I loved and couldn't find anywhere else so I settledI made an appointment with the Associate I had been speaking with and came in that evening at our scheduled time and he was working with other potential clients. I was asked to wait, which I did but after about a half an hour my father was getting impatient. I had to interrupt another associate to see if someone else could assist me. After another half an hour of filling out paperwork the associate I was working with was still not available to assist in the process. I was not treated with respect, I was not treated like a valued client, I was treated like a sale. Following the purchase of my vehicle I cut my finger on the cup holder of my car and saw two jagged edges. When I brought it up to my associate via email he stated he believed it was something that could be fixed. Later he said after consulting with his associate who does repairs he suggested he'd have to order a part. Finally the associate told me that this part (the center console) wasn't included in the cpo program and that they couldn't replace it but that they may be able to fix it. Please note that I've done my own research and I've found that with in purchasing a CPO you have a 500 miles or 7 days which ever comes first to exchange your vehicle if for some reason you're not satisfied, this is called Exchange Privilege. At no point was this ever told to me, but I found this out on my own. When I was told they would attempt to fix it, it fall outside of the timeline for the exchange Privilege, that seems quite convenient for them. I asked to speak to the manager because I wasn't comfortable with the finagling of a repair on my car. After calling one another twice today, the final call I asked to speak to Joe Serrano and the front desk associate Coltra told me he was in his office, he just wasn't taking calls as he was leaving for the evening. She then proceeds to tell me that he left for the evening. The lack of service, the dismissive treatment and empathy is so lacking here it's enthralling. I should have listened to the reviews of associates as well as reviews I've seen on public forums because I am clearly not valued and you won't be either if you choose to do business here. read more

Easter morning car would not start, dead battery. Took advantage of M-B Roadside Assistance and the technician confirmed battery was bad. Would not charge even after running for more than 20 minutes. Took car to mechanic here in San Diego and he said the replacement battery done by Euro Motorcars back in 2012 was not the correct battery, that it was too small. Essentially the battery's short life was due to the fact it had to work harder. read more

They were terrible on my first visit for service. But everyone can have a bad day. So I gave them a second chance. That was a mistake. The service department is atrocious. I bought my car from them. It was under warranty. I kept getting a warning signal that part of the anti-collision system was not working. I took the car in two or three times and they finally told me it could not be fixed as "radio signals in Philadephia were confusing it." Really? Bruce is probably the worse service representative of all time. He's not courteous and kept me waiting for hours. I understand it's an emergency walk in with no appointment. I have to go ask him what's going on with my vehicle. He asked to wait 5 minutes and half an hour later he still haven't come and tell me anything about my vehicle. Finally he told me the problem but he said it's not covered under my extended warranty because of wear and tear. He said it was leaking thru the rear light and it caused water to go in to the SAM. When I came home and checked. I don't see any leakage through the light. They lied to me so it would not cover under my warranty. I would never visit or buy anything from here anymore. I originally gave Euro Motors in Devon a 5 star rating when we bought a certified pre-owned Mercedes from them a few years ago. Today, however, I have no choice but to revise my rating to a one star due to the unprofessional manner in which I was treated today by the service department. They originally sent us an invitation to some event they were holding. When I arrived, no one greeted me, and when I asked the new girl at the service counter a question, she looked at me as if I were dirt! She very reluctantly answered my question, then when I walked away from the service counter, I heard her and another girl laughing at me! I don't recall saying anything amusing, so one can only ascertain that she made some gesture about me behind my back. Real nice! I cannot believe that Euro Motorcars would ever hire someone like this! If this is how Euro Motorcars Mercedes-Benz of Devon treats its paying customers, and if this is what we can expect moving forward, we'll go somewhere else. From the first communications until the completion of my car the "C" in customer care was more than obvious. I am very slow to put a bad evaluation out but also slow to give a positive one. The Service Associate Denise was careful to listen and ensure she understood my concerns. I won't chronicle the issues I had with MB of FW but the the experience at Devon was flawless and personal and in a word "perfect." I don't expect that everything goes my way but I do expect to be treated with empathy and respect and to be listened to. I found Denise to be a model. Just spent 6 hours of a beautiful Saturday waiting on my tire to get changed. I called the day before to make sure my tire was in stock, and the representative confirmed that it was before I made my appointment. My appointment was at 9 am, and I figured that I would be there for one hour max. I mean how long does it take to change a flat tire? Three hours later, my rep tells me that my tire is not in stock and that they are trying to locate another dealership with the tire. Why are you telling me this after I've been waiting for three hours? Then, he tells me that he is going to give me a loaner car. He disappears for another hour, only to return and tell me that he found a tire. After this 6 hour debacle, my tire was finally put on. What a waste of my time! I will not be back. read more

I remember when I was growing up in Devon, on Sunday afternoons my father used to take me and my brother to go check out some cars- usually we ended up here, at Devon Mercedes. As a child I was always obsessed with them, I tried to picture myself riding in the back of a big convertible out in the snow covered country, top down, flags affixed on either side of the hood flapping violently in the wind, the droning sound of the 2 motorcycles 40 yards or so ahead of me. I'd adjust my black leather trenchcoat slightly and sturdy my peaked black cap on my head... But then- the C class came out. Oh I haaaaate the C class. When that car came out it completely muddied the waters for me. My father used to tell me something along the lines of it was designed for people from Downingtown or Malvern that couldn't afford to live here. But then this dealer started stocking them! Tons of them!! Now the lots at this dealership are covered in C-class models and the buyers in the showroom consist of mouth breathers and booger pickers from beyond frontier towns like Paoli. The ownership at this dealership is all about bulk, bring em in, stack em high, sell em cheap. Looking for an S-Class? Good luck. Looking for a G63 ///AMG? HA! Try ebay. This place is a joke now. Here let me correct, they also carry E350s. So if you want a gray E class or a white C class with halogen headlights. Definitely stop by here. And of course they accept credit cards. I bought a "Certified pre owned" E350 Convertible in April of 16. The paint on the back bumper started peeling off during the winter of that year so the repainted the bumper for me. Come summer of the following year The paint on the front bumper started peeling off and they told me to basically go and pound sand. This dealership is flat out horrible how they sell you a "Certified Pre Owned" car and it had obviously been re painted or in an accident. The salesperson didn't have many choices but told me that we just missed the Memorial Day sale and he would call us in a few days when he saw something for us... my parents had a feeling that he was rushing us out of the dealership after he looked us up in the computer. (apparently, the salepeople write notes about you after your visit and last visit put up a red flag... maybe it was because my mom made a fuss over a car she almost bought that was almost perfect except it had race stripes on it.). I have had an unresolved issue for over three months and the dealership has screwed up at every turn - now they do it with a high level of fake (we have been trained to excel at customer service) type of way. I think Euro Motorcars Devon is the best MB dealer and best luxury car dealer in the area, mainly because of Mike Vaccaro. You should definitely ask for him when you visit. I visited many dealerships, including Audi, BMW, Porsche, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Subaru. I also went to 5 different Mercedes-Benz dealers. Mike Vaccaro was the best person to work with. He was extremely patient, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. He replies to emails very quickly. He is diligent. He is the consummate professional. He also is very honest and transparent which is important to me and you just don't get many car sales people who are so honest and transparent. He has almost a decade of experience and he is a true believer in the brand. It is always bizarre when your sales rep tells you he doesn't actually drive the car he's trying to sell you. It was nice that Mike actually drives the exact car I purchased. Mike was not just the most professional and courteous sales rep in my car shopping journey but certainly ranked among the most patient, polite, honest and transparent people I have dealt with ever. You can throw a dozen different things at him, and he'll figure out a way to deliver. You can push his buttons, and he will not lose his cool. Very cool, fun guy to work with. Overall decent service, but generally double to triple the cost to have your Mercedes serviced here than a reputable independent Mercedes mechanic and that includes using OEM parts. Don't assume that they will be any better at diagnostics than an indpendent, but sometimes you need to use them. Use them, but sparingly. Also, if you want parts, they typically charge MORE than Mercedes suggested retail pricing, so use caution. Then again, they are building a monstrous new facility and that doesn't pay for itself! read more

Do not take your car here for service if your cars warranty is done. Went there for 4 years under warranty and absolutely no problems with car. First visit for an oil change 4 months after end of warranty, car wouldn't start 2 days after service. Got it towed to euromotorcars. They said $1500 worth of repairs. I knew it was a scam. Said I would take it elsewhere, then they said they'll give me parts free of charge. I was stuck, cause if I took it elsewhere, and the repairs were real, then I'd be out of a lot of cash so I had the dealer "fix" for $700. Never again will I take it there or any dealer after warranty is done. read more

Very incompetent business. I didn't purchase a car from them, instead a part for my car--a windshield wiper. What a miserable experience. I ordered it online on a Thursday and 5 days later, the order showed 'processing' even though it stated online that it was in stock. When I called their parts department, I was told the person who handles online orders, was on vacation and no one at the business could access his computer. What a stupid and ignorant statement. I called a day later and got the same response. I emailed their general manager, who didn't respond (I guess he's too important) but forwarded my email to the parts manager. The parts manager told me the order was being shipped that day, UPS Next Day delivery, since I paid extra shipping for that service. A day went by, I received notification from UPS that a label was issued, however, the item was never shipped. Out of disgust, I contacted the parts manager to cancel my order. He acknowledged that the order was canceled. However, the next day, I saw where my credit card was charged, even though the order was canceled. By the way, I went to another Mercedes dealership and purchased a pair of genuine Mercedes wipers for half the price ($53). The Devon dealership charged $100 for the same item. This dealership can't even sell a pair of wiper blades without cheating and stealing, so why would anyone want to buy a car from them? I suggest that they knock off those fake accents and take a look at all those 1-star reviews. Warning! Stay away from Euro Motorcars - Devon. Their customer service stinks, they're snarky, and they are a perfect example why car salesmen have a bad reputation. read more

Wanting to have a place to take my Mercedes, I've given this place a 2nd shot. My 1st experience was your typical stereotypical experience of this stealership misdiagnosing and recommending the most expensive part. After being 'a pain' I got the computer diagnostic, which they don't willingly share, and discovered my vehicle needed the cheapest (most obvious) part.. Much later I go back for a purely service issue. Untrusting and knowing this to be a bad idea, I was hoping they wouldn't let me down. The work requested was a very easy 15 min job that I could do myself (planning to double check their work now - I was just being lazy and wanted to have an alternate to the dozen other repair places that will do the same work at 25% of the cost AND do the work in front of you instead of driving off with your car and coming back 30 min later). My problem with a very easy solution is exactly the same as it was before I visited. I did end up with a $70 car wash though. I called to speak with the service rep who I was told was on the phone AND had 2 people waiting for him (suspect but I suppose possible at 7:45am). No call back. Then got an email asking about their service, where I vented and no response their either. Unlike a Range Rover which I also own and IS more of a pain to work on, these cars are not that complicated and most repair shops can do the work. I feel that Euro Devon will prey on those that need the feel good feeling of sitting in a luxury waiting area (it is nice). I'd rather go back to my local repair people and use the savings for a hotel stay somewhere over a weekend. The vehicles are nice - no need to get your service done here.. read more

I have purchased 3 different Mercedes from Dennis in the past 4 years, I have also sent them other customers that purchased as well. I couldn't be happier with Dennis and the entire dealership. Whenever I am in for service, Dave and the entire staff are great. Either way, I may never buy another car anywhere else. Dennis, Charles and the entire dealership are the best team I have ever seen. Terrible experience here traveled to this dealer twice from 2 hours way to get a car. Extremely bad service and miscommunication within their own departments. First, sales man told me to get a co signer and I double checked with him that if co signer must have to be there which my co-signer can't be there and he said no my co-signer doesn't have to be there to sign it. So I got my sister to be my co-signer but then the finance manager told me my co-signer had to be there and there is no way to sign it online. Even with my sister as co-signer we got a shitty rate with 6.8 sth btw both of us got perfect credit score. And then I offered more down payment and got approved by myself with even less interest rate. They could have asked me if I could put down more at first place instead of asking another co-signer. This is the worst experience I have ever had that I got my sister credit checked for nth. The finance manager had extremely bad attitude the way he talked was like I owed him millions of dollars. read more

I have to say that the service department at Euro Motorcars could use some improvement. They are rude, unhelpful and dishonest. As a woman, I expect some sexist behavior from car dealerships, but this place takes the cake. You could tell by the way the service department spoke to me from the moment I walked in, that as a "little lady" I was an idiot. I brought my car in for a weird broken part that NEVER should have broken. After telling me it wasn't covered by the warranty (even though there is NO way that I could have broken it- this is clearly a manufacturing defect if ever there was one - if not then Mercedes makes piece of crap cars), they charged me a shall fortune to fix it. At no point in time did anyone explain it would be a temporary fix. When I was called to retrieve my car I was told the work was all done. I was never offered to have the entire part replaced and since I was told it was completely done I signed the paperwork. When I later noticed the shoddy work I decided to review the paperwork. Well, there it was, "WAS ABLE TO TEMPORARILY REPAIR." The jerk who was my "service manager" never explained that this would be a temporary fix (he called me on the phone to get my authorization - he could have mentioned that there would be additional work requiring me to return to the dealer) and when I called to express my displeasure with them he told me that HE WOULD HAVE READ THE FORM... Thanks jerk... maybe next time hand it to me and say, "why don't you take a minute to look this over" and give me a minute instead of saying, "pay me now and sign this." Which is all he ever said! I will not buy a third car from this dealership (that's right, I'm that stupid that I bought two cars from them). After giving them THOUSANDS of dollars, I'm done... Very disappointed. After test driving a car and starting to negotiate a price I left to return to work. Salesman contacted me the following day changing his original offer of $1500 off the asking price and saying he could only come down $900. However, he was willing to certify the car. (2015 c300, 6,900 miles). When I told him it was already advertised as a CPO he did not no what to say. He then said he would try to talk to his manager and come down $1800 from the asking price. After that all communication stopped. If they did not want to come down in price I could accept that. I can't accept not having the professionalism to simply call and tell a customer. After all I wanted to buy a car and they are trying to sell a car. In the end I bought the same model, year and similar mileage car two weeks later at another location. read more

I purchased my 2017 GLE 350 from Euro Motorcars of Devon in September 2016. My first two experiences (2016 & 2017) were excellent. Last week, my service experience was dismal. I made an inspection appointment. To my surprise I was informed that my vehicle did not pass due to a nail in the tire. The Service Technician did not offer recommendations to rectify the situation until I questioned my options. While there, I mentioned that I needed to purchase a new battery for the keyless remote. Prior to leaving, I reminded the Technician about changing the battery. Today, my car wouldn't start because the battery to the remote was completely dead; as a result, my car read "key no detected". I telephoned Euro Motorcars to see what my options were, I voiced my frustration and was informed that the Service Manager would call me. I'm still waiting... read more
