I know several people that swear by this establishment. I have seen the incredible cuts and colors they do! The only reason I am giving a 3 star review is, please don't see Joan. She annihilated my color and did a ridiculous "dusting" of my split ends. I now have short hair all the way to my crown because she cut my "bangs" incorrectly. I have been babying and growing out my hair for 6 months and she ruined it in 2 hours. Please visit this salon, you will be pleased. Just don't let Joan touch your hair! I have brassy, orange and yellow in what was supposed to be a highlight. I have a freakin polka dot of blonde at my forehead. Heng is a color virtuoso. But the owner of the salon is extremely RUDE!!!! So Heng gets 10 stars but she ruins the salon review! She makes you feel extremely unwelcome, while has 0 respect for social distancing when she comes to yell at you to wear your mask properly!!! This Covid situation has unleashed some awful people and makes them feel like they are the boss of you! Meanwhile I'm still a paying customer!!! But her customer service is abysmal!!!! Located near Publix, you can easily miss this. Just pull into the plaza where the super market is located. Its on the same side. Refer to Annie #1. Heng is really AMAZING. My hair had been bleached, colored, tinted, toned, you name it. He still managed to remove the previous coloring even though my hair is as long as rapunzels. Thats like dedication. Afterwards, he flat ironed it and cut it (more like trimmed, but I wanted to keep the length). Its wonderful to find someone who knows how to highlight my asian hair without the coppery blonde effect. The entire process took 3.15 hours. In addition, I didn't have to wait. When the appointment is at 4pm, he means 4pm. I should also mention this place does nails as well. First and foremost, it was very hard to get an appointment. I made an appointment with Heng via text. He's never done my hair before and when I got there he couldn't do my hair, because I needed color correction and he didn't have the time. (I take fault in this, because we never talked in depth about my hair.) Luckily, Vivian was available. Unfortunately, it wasn't for another 2-3 hrs. I'm glad Vivian ended up doing my hair. She's extremely sweet and knows exactly what she's doing. I absolutely love the way my hair turned out. She was looking out for my best interest and did what she could to give me what I want without damaging my hair. I highly recommend Vivian! The location isn't the best and people driving in and out the parking lot were inconsiderate, so be careful. Overall, Vivian provided great service and price is very reasonable. I had two very nice haircuts at Euro Salon and I was happy with finding an inexpensive salon in the neighborhood, until I had my last haircut. The lady who gave me my last haircut was not a usual and she absolutely ruined my hair all over. I will just share part of what happened: As the lady who cut my hair didn't speak English very well, I showed her a picture on my phone and another on the salon's wall (that was hanging there forever!) to show her that I want full bangs covering my eyebrows...and she said okay and with her first cut of scissors I had bangs shorter than half an inch in length and there was nothing left that I could do about it. So I sat through the haircut and asked her not to touch my back and left with an unfinished, ugly haircut. I did not even confront her as I felt bad for her (not that she hadn't earned it though). I believe that she was completely unprofessional and unskilled and not a regular worker of the salon, and for that I am disappointed in the salon letting someone like her handling a customer. And needless to say, I never set foot in that salon again. The 2nd star is only for the good work I received those other times (I had nice-looking short haircuts by two other ladies) but my last haircut doesn't really deserve even one star. read more

I've been in Roswell for 3 years and have gotten two very very bad haircuts! One from Acaro on canton st and the other I can't even remember the salon name (lucky!). Euro Salon, while not fancy or anything has an amazing incredibly experienced stylist I had the pleasure of meeting today while desperately looking for an immediate appointment for cut and color. I have wavy/curly, very thick and A LOT of hair and most people just have no idea how to handle thick wavy/curly hair. Joanne was a champ! She gave me the advice I needed for the health of my hair, gave me a wonderful haircut, was polite about the fact that I was working most of the time so didn't engage in a ton of conversation unless my laptop was closed, and even then, she was just letting me relax. The price.... my jaw dropped after her amazing work and incredibly reasonable pricing. I tipped her exceptionally well. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I'm über picky about my hair... this lady knows her stuff! I found my hairstylist!!!!! I love my hair cut love my color. Ok so I'm writing this and I'm torn. I don't want the secret out. BUT the praise is more than warranted! So this place is a hole in the wall, and as someone used to paying $250 plus for haircuts and color, I was VERY nervous to try this place out, its a very ho hum kind of place in terms of decoration... Enter Hang, the man is a genius with hair. He is meticulous and wonderful. I've had my hair done at some amazing places. This is right up there, he used to work at Key Lime pie in midtown, where you would have paid 200 plus to have him do your hair. Now,at his current location a hair cut/color-full highlights etc 75 flat. I'm not kidding. The price is unreal and he is amazing. Based on reviews, I was looking forward to trying out Euro Salon. I was close to giving this place just 1 star, but friendly people work here. So here are the reasons I'm giving this salon just 2 stars. The cuts are cheap and well, it's just not skilled quality. I had my hair done by Vivian. I showed her a picture of the look I wanted: medium-long hair with lots of layers in the front. I also mentioned I wanted a 2-inch trim. I was really disappointed with the results. My hair looks nothing like the picture I wanted. With layering, it requires more time and detailed trimming. Vivian essentially hacked off my hair. Granted, I didn't get my hair washed because I had just washed it the night before but she didn't even spray my hair to get it wet so she could be consistent. Lastly, when I left the salon, I realized there was trimmed hair EVERYWHERE. Why would a stylist let someone walk out with trimmed hair all over their face? I had to do my best to brush everything off. My hair is way too short and I'm just so disappointed. I'm seriously considering getting extensions because this hair cut is terrible. True, this was only $18 so maybe this was poor judgment on my part. Sigh... Euro Salon is a definite no for me. If you're looking for a simple trim or a bobbed hairstyle, then this might be the place for you. However, I highly doubt Vivian's skills on layering. read more

This place is a gem, not too visually appealing which may turn off people, but let them go, I don't want the price to increase or have to wait for appointments. I've gotten my hair dyed here once and liked the results. I've also done two updo's, SO CHEAP and they came out great. I got compliments all night and it stayed put until the next morning both times....which is a feat as I was dancing the night away. I'm sure they would do great cheap blow outs and not charge you 40+ tip (cough blowbar which is ridiculous) Really cool and laid back staff. Will definitely come back when I need another up-do...although if I cheat on my hairdresser again she may murder me so I'm not sure I can do that...yet! read more

I have never had an issue with this hair salon the people here are usually nice. But today I went in and I asked the lady if I could get a haircut she says "yes we are busy right now do you know if you can come back later" I said "yes of course" and I asked her "do you know how long it will be" and she yelled "I said come back later" with the rudest attitude ever! After reading such rave reviews, I had to give Euro a shot. I walked in about 20 minutes early and Vivian was highlighting a woman's hair. She immediately acknowledged me and told me she'd be with me shortly. No problem. Sure enough, right about at my appointment time, she was ready for me. I sat in her chair, showed her my usual hair inspiration pic and asked for lots of volume (like my pic showed) and layers at my crown. She immediately informed me that the volume was achieved by LOTS of teasing, not necessarily the layers, though they help. After she made sure I was understanding her, she set to work. I asked for a couple inches off, for my hair to come to a point in the back and I mentioned I was growing out my bangs. She nodded and said she'd feather them just a bit so I could style them more easily. And you know what? Vivian delivered on all three counts. Believe it or not, it's near impossible for me to find someone that actually does what I ask for. Many times I come out with too short bangs, or choppy, rough, uneven layers. Fiance was watching during most of the cut and remarked that Vivian was a huge perfectionist and clearly knew what she was doing. He also complimented my hair a few times, which has never happened before! (lol.) They prefer tips in cash. When I checked out, I was expecting to pay about $25, like most of the reviews have mentioned. Their starting price for a woman's cut is actually $18, and that's what I was charged! I have NEVER paid that little for a cut in my life. I think I was charged less because I have thinner hair (don't let the profile pic fool you, that's extensions for ya). So, I've found my new hair place. Eighteen bucks and it's just a few miles up the street? Can't be beat. They are not open Sundays. I believe they are open the rest of the days of the week, til 7pm. Still somewhat new, and on a tight budget, I have only been to one salon since being here, and that 4 1/2 hour adventure was not one I was wanting to repeat. SOO, i turn to trusty YELP and find that right around the corner, next to my dry cleaners, is Euro Salon, which was highly recommended on here. I have to admit, I was surprised. The place does look like a bad excuse for a salon, but I did a walkin with JOAN anyways, trusting on YELP reviews. THANK YOU! I must say I have pretty simple long straight hair, and just needed my hair shaped up, but Joan was so pleasant and did such a fantastic job at what I perceived to be a simple task. Salon Euro is fantastic for good haircuts and reasonable prices. You will not be offered sodas and it is not a fancy salon experience, but you will pay a very reasonable rate for a good haircut. We've been going there for years. I never write reviews, but some of the reviews posted are so negative that I was motivated to share my experience. I'm not sure where there is an advertisement for $15 cut, shampoo and dry because I've never seen it and it sounds ridiculously low (people need to earn a living and eat), but the police? Really? Love this place. Heng has been doing my hair for about 2 years. I'm not usually a loyal customer when it comes to stylists. Because I'm so picky, I tend to bounce from stylist to stylist... I've been coming to see Heng for about 4 years. I actually learned of this place through a bunch of Buckhead Betty moms and I babysat for through college and I must say this is the best! I used to go to Van Michael's and pay around $130 for highlights and now I pay almost half of that and it includes a cut and style! You can tell shes a professional with how fast she does my mani and pedi without pain at all. Their price is also not excruciating. I just had to write a second review about how much I love Euro Salon. Linda has been doing my hair for the past year. I was previously going to Angie but she doesn't work weekends so I needed a weekend stylist. Linda does an AMAZING job on my thick/curly/highly colored hair. She is the sweetest and makes sure to run the game plan by you before she starts doing anything. My hair has been highlighted and colored so much but it looks so incredible healthy that there is zero damage. She cares about me maintaining super healthy hair and does every thing to walk me off of a high processed mess of an idea. I love how she cuts my hair too. She straightens it out and then dry cuts it to a meticulous perfection. She knows my hair and pays attention to what I'm looking for. She sets a realistic expectation and gives me alternative ideas when I don't know what I want. She just really has a talent for color and cuts! I can't go to anyone but her! read more

I went for an appointment with Heng at 5:30, per the text he had sent me a month ago, and he comes out and tells me I had an appointment at 3:00, which is impossible because I cant get off work that early and Ive had this on my schedule for over a month. I was really excited because I had read reviews on yelp about the talent and I was looking forward to having a great experience because my bridal shower is 2 days away and I'm getting married in 2 weeks. Not only was i told i was wrong about the time, i was asked why i needed semi- permanent hair color in the first place (because I'd like to cover my gray hair I replied), and then I am told he doesn't have black hair color anyway. (My hair isn't black, but he would have known this if he had a conversation with me instead of from across the salon). He wouldn't have had the product at this supposed 3pm appointment either I assume? I left without an apology or any attempt for rescheduling. My advice: confirm with your clients about their appointments, as a courtesy. Even by your text messaging communication methods. Perhaps call new clients as a preliminary consultation to find out their needs, and maybe their hair color so you can be prepared to service a variety of hair types. And work long and hard on your customer service and professionalism. You had me close to tears when I left because I was counting on your service for my upcoming events...when i could've easily taken my needs to a stylist who wanted a loyal customer who is more than willing to pay accordingly for customer service excellence. read more

I originally found out about this salon via reviews on Yelp, so I feel like I should give back and write a review myself. After weeks of searching for an affordable, but nice salon- I finally found Euro Salon! It only costs $35 for a shampoo, cut and style. Where else in Atlanta can you find that type of deal?! Not only it is affordable, but the stylists do a GREAT job. I have been seeing Luba for several years now and have never been disappointed. I usually let her make the call in terms of how to cut my hair if I plan on growing it out or keeping it short. She is very professional and knows exactly how to cut my hair to get the effects that I want. I also love the relaxing, low-key atmosphere here. The stylists will never force you to buy any of the products that they sell or pay for additional services. I never have a hard time getting an appointment either. I am usually able to get an appointment the same week that I call. With that being said, I would definitely recommend making an appointment. They do accept walk-ins but they also tend to get busy on the weekends. read more

So, I decided to trust a salon today because I just didn't feel like dealing with my hair by myself anymore, going to Sally's beauty supply and trying to figure out what to get and what is enough to get my hair highlighted. I'm just not going through that anymore, it's tiring! So, I searched for a salon close to me and good ratings, being that I am skeptical to these ratings because I've had bad experiences before with food and much more. I just decided to go with my instinct plus I was desperate on finding someone to do my hair! Anyway, I called Euro Salon and I asked about prices and how soon can I come in. They said anytime as long as it's open hours. I went in an hour after I called and Vivian helped me immediately and I was already seated and she checked my hair to see if it's safe to lift to a platinum blonde that I wanted. (Im asian so it's hard to get "platinum blonde") she got everything ready and started working on my hair. She and Linda made sure I was comfortable under the dryer and made sure my scalp wasn't burning too much from the bleach. So an hour passed and after the process, they were done after their closing time. (I feel bad) But me oh my, my hair is still healthy, shiny and strong! Even after being over processed and they helped me achieve my platinum blonde I wanted! I'm officially Khaleesi now. I really recommend this salon! read more

I first came here a few years ago on the advice of a friend. My friend Bill suggested I go see Heng, who was at that time the owner of Euro Salon. (Since then Heng sold the place and now works there as a stylist....less hassle). The salon itself is not much to look at but it is always busy, and they take walk-ins. Heng is a really sweet guy who can do wonders with hair. I have very fine, limp hair, and he always makes me look like I have a head full. Heng's prices are very fair (under $20 for a trim and a blowout) and he pays attention to what looks good on you. I was so impressed the first time I went there, and asked him what the charge would be. Without hesitation, he said "18.00". I said "so cheap". He said "Not much hair, not much price". I was hooked. That was so cool. You won't be disappointed either. Drive up Roswell Road in Sandy Springs; this place is in a busy shopping center with Publix, Starbucks, and Shampooch. read more

It usually takes about 25-30 minutes to get my hair washed, blow dried, and straightened (something I find impressive because my hair is so thick!) I am like a few of the other patron's, it is not a very appealing esthetically which can be scary on your first visit, but I have always gotten a good haircut there. I am VERY picky since I have naturally curly hair and have had some HORRIBLE haircuts in my day.
