But was available on hotels.com for a good rate. So called the hotel very late at night to confirm. And they did indeed get the reservation! The lady I spoke with on the phone was the front deck staff at the hotel the next evening also-in person! it's cool that this is a small operation and there is continuity and the folks are super nice! (You're not talking to someone in another country booking your reservation who doesn't know what's going on.) Large room w lots of space-- including a sofa and sitting room area. There was carpet in this room. Small fridge w a small freezer compartment that actually works Microwave Lots of hot water. Great water pressure in the shower Very Nice little breakfast w waffles, eggs, bacon, huge muffins, etc. 0600-1000 Plenty of parking in the back of the hotel this visit. Dated Carpet which smells like carpet shampoo in the halls. Cigarette butts by the little smoking area up front. 4.5/5 for what it is. This is not a high end luxury hotel. But If they got rid of the cigarette butts and smoking area ---maybe move it to the back. and got rid of the elderly carpeting in the halls or replaced, it would be super nice. it's still amazing value for the money. And both the staff and other patrons are very nice. read more

This hotel is amazing! For the space they're providing and the amenities, these spacious rooms would go for nearly $1000 a night almost anywhere else. What a shock that our room was $99!! As I said, the rooms are spacious! A front sitting room with TV, and what I suppose is a pull out bed, with the door in between the front room and the bedroom. The king size bed was so comfortable and the air temperature, which we easily adjusted to be slightly cooler in the room, was perfect, and quiet! This is a recently renovated hotel (as of November 2024), and everything is just so clean and sparkling. No problem with the water pressure or water temperature, even a little bit, so be careful, and a nice tub for a soak if you're into that. Just to top everything else off, the front desk crew was so friendly, and the check-in quick and efficient. If we ever come up this way again, this is definitely our spot! read more

Upon arrival and entry, this place looks very nice and well kept. For us, that's where it ended. We were here for a five day visit and it was 5 days too long for me in the Euro-Suites Hotel. Our bathroom smelled like urine. I looked for something that was stained or a leftover puddle, anything that would explain the smell. Nothing. I told the housekeeping staff and was told it would be taken care of and it was not. We also spent a day without hot water. It was not acknowledged nor accounted for on our bill. I feel it should have been since that is a basic amenity. There were other issues but I won't go into detail since many of you have probably stopped reading. Just know there were blood spots on our bed spread, pot smokers in the room next door, and the breakfast bar was a joke. I guess since this our first non-chain hotel experience, the lesson here is buyer beware. read more

What a great spot! I rolled in around 10pm, got a great room close to the entrance. Check-in was quick and painless. My room was clean and cool. the bed was super comfy as were the pillows. The amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner) were all above average and smelled really great. My evening was quiet and I slept pretty well. Really good experience at Euro Suites. Although under construction the location was perfect for a tour of WVU. We arrived late with and easy check in and requested a late check out with no problem. Breakfast was all you needed to start the day - waffle maker, fruit, bagels, egg sandwiches. We stayed in the one bedroom suite and it was perfect for 5. Easy parking and safe area. read more

Overall the hotel suited us just fine. I love the fact that every room is a 2 room with couch, table and another TV in a separate room with a door to close off the bedroom. Our room was clean, the hotel has a small bar with free snacks, daily breakfast, 24 hr coffee. Bartender Adam was awesome! Every staff member that we came across was very polite. Sure the hotel could use some updating but i would totally stay here again. Now for my dislikes - our room was missed one day so we had to ask for clean towels and trash bag, they gave us fresh with no problem, the AC unit didn't work as well as it could have and they really need to change the black marble/tile floors in the public restrooms near the lobby...I'm sure you get what I mean, it was weird! read more

Spacious comfortable living is EuroSuites. It consists of a living room with sofa and TV and a bedroom with workspace. Mostly clean but I did spot some clipped nails near the bathroom missed by the vacuum. Staff was welcoming and happily accommodated my late 2pm checkout. Shuttle service was helpful. Awful experience. No hot water, front desk thought it was funny that all guests used up the hot water at the same time. Filthy bathroom tiles and grout, tiles falling off wall, room needs paint and repairs. Do not bother to call General Manager Karla Culp. She is non responsive and will not return calls. Amazing hotel. Very clean and only making improvements every time we stay there. Great breakfast, comfortable beds, friendly staff and nice rooms. There was an issue with another guest smoking and making our room smell like cigarettes and the staff didn't hesitate to come up to try and correct the issue before preparing us another room for the night. Dirty, filthy, hazardous. My stepdaughter has been here for a couple weeks for cancer treatment at the hospital. Wife and went up this weekend to be with her a bit. My wife was head housekeeper at another hotel years ago so she's quite aware of things, but even I noticed the terrible smell as soon as we got off the elevator. First thing we did when we got there was - of necessity - ask for clean sheets, clean bathroom items, and I borrowed the vacuum. Wife spent 2+ hours later on cleaning the tiny kitchen - grease was just packed on everywhere. Clearly, no real cleaning taking place. There's more, but let's skip to the end: got ready to change the bedsheets and discovered the mattress pad has been soaked with blood. Housecleaning had just thrown a sheet over it and made the bed. They're not even apologetic. Yes, I'm calling the Health Department and more about this. read more

This was a very nice hotel with a convenient location. The room was very clean and quiet. There is a Dunkin Donuts right next door and a sports bar that has good food called Keglers. Also a bowling alley, Suburban Lanes. The 12pm check out time was nice too! read more

Not sure if these 3 or 4 rooms should even be rented but they are no where near the quality of the other rooms in the building which are 2X as big and have sofas and microwaves in them. This hotel is right across from the health sciences campus of West Virginia University. You basically get two rooms for the price of one, a bedroom area with its own tv, and a living room with fold out sofabed and tv. It was tough pretending to be two people and trying to occupy both spaces simultaneously. The place was pretty clean even though the room design looked out of ye olde colonial era. They served a complimentary hot breakfast which was pretty good and the juice machine had all the standard breakfast juices. The shuttle was always on schedule and the drivers were really cool. The only negative was that the wireless didn't work, but they gave me an ethernet cable to work with. read more

Quick and easy check in, large parking lot thought it was almost filled (but we got in after midnight).The room was large and seemingly recently renovated. It had a living room area, a kitchenette, a nice bathroom and a king sized bed and 2 LCD HDTVs. Pretty impressed by the size and quality of the amenities. The free breakfast had a good amount of selections. A waffle maker, multiple cereal, several kinds of fruit and fruit cups, muffins, bagels, eggs and coffee. We were very surprised by the size of the rooms. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast in the morning was also impressive compared to most hotels that offer a complimentary breakfast. I was very surprised by the jimmy Dean sausage muffins. The coffee and the orange juice that came out of the machine were a bit watered down but we were able to deal with it. The only real reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because we couldn't really make the room warm in the summer. We were having a cold spell in august where it was 50 degrees outside. In the room it was probably in the low to mid 60 ' s and it was still blowing cold air in the room regardless of what we did. We talked to the front desk and they told us that the hotel couldn't put warm air out during the summer time. I bet this is probably an issue for many hotels, but at $150 a night you would hope they would have a better solution. read more

This hotel was a stop through back home. We stopped here because of the reviews on yulp. We stayed 1 night in the king suite. Which had a king bed in one room and in the living room a pull out couch. This was a perfect choice for a family of 4. The bath towels were nice and large. The water pressure was perfect (I hate when the water pressure is a thin stream) they have a later check out time. You also get a complementary breakfast in the morning. Bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit, muffins. It's just the right amount to grab and go. Front desk was very welcoming. read more

I am once again in town for a conference, and although it is held at the Ramada Conference Center (see my review from a year ago) I was not about to subject myself to that level of abject nastiness again. Booking with the Euro Suites was seamless and easy, and check in was friendly, quick and effortless. The room is a nice sized, with a sitting room, a small kitchenette, a nice size bathroom with wonderful water pressure, and a large sleeping room with a king sized bed and a lovely closet. Amenities are wonderful. 2 LCD TVs, a small dinette table, two desks (one in each room). Ironing board and iron, hairdryer, coffee maker, anything you can want. The climate control is nice as well. The lot is somewhat small, and getting left is nigh impossible. Other than that, (which is a MINOR complaint) I enjoyed my experience and will stay here again. Clean room, nice bedding... I used Orbitz and got a great deal. I am not sure what this room goes for normally, but I paid far less than I would with the conference discount at the Ramada. Oh- and happy hour and free continental breakfast were adequate as well. Definitely a pleasant surprise all the way around. read more

The hotel from the outside is average. Inside is beautiful! We booked 2 double bed suite. I was pleasantly surprised at how large it was. The housekeepers forgot to restock necessities so I had to make a run to lobby for toilet paper but other than that everything was there that I expected. The cleanliness was overall great, a few sketchy spots of possible mold in the bathroom. We would definitely stay there again for the price we got more than we expected. read more

My problem happened when i rolled into town for a appt the next morning at wvu childrens hospital for my son who was having brain surgery , i arrived at the euro suites at like midnight, from a 4 hour drive to the rudest front desk guy ever..my credit card had a problem swiping and wouldn't run through the scanner properly..well i had the cash in hand to pay for the room but the guy was sooo rude to me about my card and talking to me like i was a nobody that i left and went to the best western down the road..which is half as nice but the way that dude talked to me i will never go back..and when i went to the car to tell my wife he came outside smoking and spitting on the ground.. totally professional! read more

What ever you do do NOT go here. This place is a filthy, semen dripping dripping down the sheets, pubic hair filled, plastic sheeted nightmare!! Of course the owner completely refuses to return requests for a phone call or recompense, I was refunded the stay as the desk worker mortifyingly witnessed the conditions; however they refuse to refund the added expense of having to get a far more expensive place on short notice in the middle of the night. I didn't ask for them to pay for the other hotel, just the difference since I now had no time to search for a good deal, but rather hurry up and get some sleep before an interview for a job I ended up losing, possibly after being sleep deprived. This is a job I had to fly across the country for. So I suggest Euro suites starts taking this a little more seriously, as the cost of my other hotel, rental car, flights and the the salary to my lost job, are what we be being discussed next. I'm considering calling a lawyer or going to small claims court at this point. Seriously, please do not stay here, and for God's sake do NOT bring children here!! You may not notice at first glance just how egregious the health safety issues are, but trust me, they are not cleaning this place well, and anywhere that has to have plastic sheeting on the beds to attempt sanitation has very serious issues, and you should question staying there. Think to yourself, have I ever seen heavy duty plastic sheets on the beds at any other hotel I've ever stayed at? No, of course not. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, in a room with a king bed and loved it. The room had 2 TVs, the first in the bedroom and the other in the "study" which was located right as you enter the room. The two sections had a door that locks from the inside to separate them. It has free parking, wifi and breakfast as well. For the cost of the room, it was definitely a good choice. read more

This is a pretty decent value hotel, you get a lot for only a little more than you'd pay for a room at a "discount" hotel. All rooms are suites, so there's a living room and bedroom area. For us we didn't need all of the space, but it was nice! What made this hotel a real superstar for us was the breakfast. Their hot breakfast was one of the best complimentary hotel breakfasts I've had with the sheer number of items available. P.S. If you're getting a jacuzzi suite here, just know that the tubs won't comfortably fit more than one average sized person. read more

We chose to stay here because my oldest has a college tour at WVU. I did a lot of looking at reviews before I settled on Euro Suites. Previous great reviews did not disappoint! There are three in our party so we opted for the 2 queen suite. Plenty of room. The living area is very comfortable and a very welcome addition as I always wake up earlier then they do. As they slumber I can watch tv, read the paper, or grab some breakfast. The only negative thing (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) I can say about this hotel is that there is no fan in the bathroom. This is our second stay at Euro-suites Hotel. This trip we were attending WVU graduation and needed two rooms. We rented through hotels.com and received a good rate compared to surrounding hotels. We were not disappointed with the rooms. You have a sitting room with TV, sleeper sofa, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot. It was nicely decorated and quite comfortable. This room opened up to separate sleeping area. This room included a comfortable king size bed, TV, roomy dresser and all your necessary furnishings and decorations. Also the bathroom was roomy, well furnished and a tub/shower with a fantastic shower head. Staff was friendly and common areas clean. I spent three nights here and it was great. Room was nicely appointed and comfortable. Had everything I needed: iron, board, dryer and plenty of towels and extra pillows. Breakfast was in a room off the lobby, nice selection of items along with various beverages. Free newspapers every morning, also in the lobby. Reception staff was very cordial and helpful, checking in and out was a breeze. Housekeeper (Amber?) was very helpful in keeping my room tidied and helped answer a few questions about the area. i would stay here again. Rates are reasonable, rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed one night in a queen suite. We had a 9 year old boy in our party, and he loved having the separate room with a fold out couch and tv to himself. Check in was easy, and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with large, fluffy towels. We will be back! read more
