a close up of a piece of bread in a plastic container

I've always been curious about Nazook, a "mildly sweet Armenian pastry" made by a Portland, Oregon business called Eurobake. They sell them at Fred Meyer's and WinCo. WinCo also carries some Eurobake breads. I recently bought a package and brought them to work. Nobody seemed interested in them. After a few days, I ended up bringing pretty much the whole package back home. Truth be told, it was probably over a week before I tried them myself. They just didn't look that exciting to me. Boy, was I wrong! Nazook are the perfect thing to go with a great cup of coffee. I recommend putting them in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds and putting a little butter on them. The dough is indeed mildly sweet. The center is a buttery crumble with a slightly vanilla, almost almond like flavor. Highly Recomended!!!

Rizhik Used to be very nice, soft and creamy. Dry and no cream now

My rating is for cake Rizhik only. I used to but it all the time. Was soft, creamy and affordable price. Now with higher price cream disappeared:(

This is a wholesale bakery. Unless you are a business with a large order, they can't help you.

Crispy, airy, buttery and oh, so delicate, my raspberry cruffin was the dessert dreams are made of! If you've never had a cruffin... what are you waiting for?! It's croissant dough baked into a muffin shape. And the particular version I ordered today was filled with sweet and creamy vanilla custard and raspberry jelly. My mouth is watering describing this now, a true sign I'll be returning to experience this delicacy time and time again. There are three locations of Twisted Croissant in Portland, and this is the only one I've visited. The interior has a classic Parisian bakery vibe, clad in white subway tile from floor to ceiling. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Given the location, I assume there is outdoor seating in the summer months, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, run here if you haven't been. These baked goods are worth the visit!

The quiche was rich, flaky, and packed with flavor, while the chocolate croissant had beautifully laminated layers with just the right balance of buttery pastry and chocolate. You can taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. Service was swift and easy, making the experience seamless from start to finish. The drip coffee was great, and the latte was creamy while still having a strong coffee flavor. The downside was the cleanliness of the seating area. It made me wonder how a place with such a big reputation allows the establishment to get to this point. Please clean the establishment more thoroughly. Dust and spider webs should not be falling near the food your customers eat.

It's clearly a popular spot, and from what I hear, getting there early is key if you want their famous croissants. Everything we ordered was amazing a rocky road cookie, a chocolate croissant, and the ham and cheese croissant. Even two days later, everything was still tasty. The flaky layers were especially impressive. I'm a big rocky road fan and had never tried it as a cookie before this one was a winner and tasted fresh, not processed at all. Definitely looking forward to visiting in person next time.
