The thing is, with a wet sump oil system, I can't take my car to any Joe Shmo oil change place and I've even been advised to avoid dealerships; these guys don't know what they are doing. The car has to be running for so long, the temperature has to be just right, all of these variables have to be met before changing the oil. I decided to take a chance on Mangol's because the reviews were incredible. I was so pleased when I called; Rob was very kind, got me right in, answered all of my questions when I was there in person and the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend!!! I TRUST HIM.

We took our daughter's car in because her air conditioning stopped working. They said it need a new…read morecompressor and it cost $1200 to repair. The car was running fine and no warning lights were on. After they repaired the air conditioner, two miles from the shop, the check engine light started flashing. They said it was safe to drive, and to bring it back in. It isn't ok to drive a car that is misfiring, so I had it towed to the shop. They then said it needed a new knock sensor $90 and replaced that. Then all sorts of warning lights started flashing and they said it needed a new ABS Pump & Module $1289. At this point we were hamstrung and reluctantly agreed. Roughly $3500 later, on the way home again the airbag light went on and the fasten seat belt light started flashing. At this point I wouldn't trust them to open the car door, let alone attempt to fix anything ever again. Lesson learned, don't take your car to Mangols.

Ended up costing over 11k! The installation has not been successful. The new gearbox mounts fitted and designed by them failed in under 300miles. I'm now having to go to court to get them to pay for the repair done by a local garage to save Automotive the cost of transporting the car around 250 miles. Car is based in Burton On Trent. The engine has never run properly and the electricals are a disaster. Their electrical knowledge of ECUs seems to be zero. The car is now having to go to another garage to do the wiring again and get it to run mechanically. This may have to include a new rear differential to match the engine gearbox to the car. When asked about this, Automotive agreed the original diff was probably not suitable! They didn't mention this before the work was completed only when I complained the car wasn't running properly. Automotive Creations take on it has been "We said we would do it but we didn't say it would work!". For over 11k I think they charged enough to ensure it worked properly! So many other errors and complications I can't list them all here. Needless to say I wish I'd gone elsewhere for the work. They have pulled up the drawbridge and are ignoring my emails and blocked my mobile number. I feel overcharged and ripped off! Mark

My issues began when a technician forgot to reinstall the under-car shield after an oil change, forcing me to return and miss an appointment I had right after my oil change. The service manager, Alex, offered a free oil change for the trouble after I asked to speak with him, but when I returned for my next visit, they did not honor it. During that same visit, my car was with them for over 5 hours just for them to tell me a thermostat I needed for a check engine light was backordered for months, which didn't fix the problem and left me wondering what took them 5 hours. To make matters worse, I sat in the waiting area for an hour watching what I thought was my car parked outside before anyone told me it was ready, further adding to my frustration once I realized it was my car. After being told for almost three months the part was still unavailable, I called another local Mazda dealer who had the part in stock and fixed it the next day under warranty. Between the poor communication and the lack of follow-through, I cannot recommend this service department. While my primary issues are with Service, my experience with Sales (specifically Nick) was equally disappointing. After expressing interest in a vehicle, I received no follow-up, further cementing my decision to move on from this location. I do want to highlight that Jaz and Corey have consistently been professional, friendly, and efficient.
