Went to The Boulevard Bar & Grill for a casual dinner after work and ordered the mahi tacos while my friend got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich. The restaurant had a relaxed crowd and didn't feel overly loud even once more people started coming in. The fish in both dishes tasted fresh and the seasoning on the sandwich had a good kick without being overwhelming. Our server was attentive from the start and kept checking on drink refills without hovering around the table too much. Food timing was reasonable and everything arrived hot. Our friends invited us here on a Friday night to meet up with another friend. Found parking spot right in front. Walked in and joined our party already seated at a high top. Waiter came over to take our drink orders. I opted for the VG lemon drop cocktail on the table ad. Waiter poured it table side and it was the clearest lemon drop I'd ever seen. There was live music to sing along to until he left then we DJ'd our own music on the TouchTunes via the app. It was a nice vibe. Waitress came over and remade my drink to a proper lemon drop. Shared delicious pretzel bites with friends and also ordered the soup or the day, chicken poblano which was creamy and tasty. This has slowly become my favorite place in town. The staff is amazing, very attentive and friendly. The food specials are great for live events. I've included the football specials. Overall it's a great place to meet the locals and have a great night out. There is always some live music and the happy hour is wonderful and definitely helps the pockets. This is a nicenplace with a open front and a huge bar and plenty of seating all around, mainly high top tables. Lots of tvs all around the place and a comfortable environment. I came on a Tuesday night and they had live music. The volume was a little low so you could not really hear him but it was great to know they had live music I ordered potato skins, buffalo wings and loaded fries and honestly could not complain. The sauce is frankly red hot on the wings but they had a variety of sauces. The service i had was great she was very attentive on top of my needs and checking in with me but not overwhelming. I live very close to this place, so it's convenient, but my experience today wasn't very good. Took my wife there for lunch bunch of old hags at the bar, screaming at the top of their lungs made it difficult to enjoy our food, and speaking of food this place is really hit or miss with food. I couldn't get a few things because they were doing maintenance in the kitchen or something that the waitress explained ,the pretzel bites were hard as rocks terrible, another time I was there. They were soft and delicious. Not a very good experience today, lots of other places to choose from so place like this has to be on top of their game every day. read more

Pleasantly surprised by the community vibe at The Boulevard! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The drinks were extremely good--thoughtfully made and well-balanced--and the appetizers blew us away. We ordered the wings and honestly, they might be some of the best we've had. The whole place was packed because of the panther's game and even so, she accommodated and tended to each and every customer to make sure we all had a drink in hand. The interior is nicely decorated and very well maintained. There are plenty of tv's so that you can catch the game no matter where you are inside the bar. We had an event which ended late in the evening, and some of us wanted to get a bite before heading to the hotel. Some of my colleagues had been here the evening before, and had enjoyed the food. Boulevard is your typical bar & grill, lots of screens, dim lights, a crowed at the bar, and music. We took our seats in the booths, and were served by Lexie, who did an outstanding job. Great service! I was contemplating for a bit, but went for the bang-bang shrimp, so we go could share, and the Mahi-Mahi tacos. Personally I didn't really fancy the shrimps, they had a good taste, but were too greasy in my opinion. The Mahi-Mahi tacos were alright, but like the fries a little bland. My colleague had also the tacos and he seems to like them. Another colleague asked me if I wanted to try his lemon pepper wings, he loved them, too much season for me. Maybe it wasn't my day, or my taste buds are just used to different. Anyway, a good spot to eat when you look for something late, but the service is great! read more

Just moved to Boynton and only a mile from The Boulevard. After passing it everyday I decided to check it out and read several good reviews. I can only assume the folks posting these reviews had a lot more to drink than I did. Waitress, Lexie was really nice and did a good job. Beer was cold, drink (bourbon and coke) was strong and that's where the good ends. Lexie said beers on tap and well drinks were 1/2 price. 2 Dos Equis $9.00 or $4.50 each which would make them $9.00 each at regular price. The bourbon and Diet Coke $8.00. Seems like regular prices to me. Ordered Angus sliders and chicken nachos off the Happy Hour Menu at $8.00 a piece. A reasonable price if either were any good. Burgers were plain, very dry on a stale toasted bun. Nachos were pretty much missing the chicken (four very small chunks). They seem to have a cadre of old regulars that show up, swap stories and drink. Definitely not there for the food. They won't miss my business or that of the few that look to me for recommendations. read more

I like dive bars as they have personality and character. Characters, too. This bar is more of a sports bar. There are a ton of TVs for all the games/teams you'd want to watch. And a lot of high-top seats and bar seats to satisfy. But they also have a good food menu. In fact, we liked this place so much that we plan to make it one of our regular stops -- and neither of us are into sports. It's easy to access right off Boynton Beach Boulevard. Although parking spaces are hard to come by when it's a busy game day. We had to park a bit down the strip and walk over. The bar is open sided at one point, and though smoking isn't allowed inside the bar, you might find a smoker outside the entrance at one of the tables with ashtrays there. When we stopped by, they were packed. Every seat was taken, and we had to wait for one to open up. However, once seated we were immediately greeted by Mike and waited upon. Looking over the menu, it was hard to decide what to order, but I'd read online that their burgers and wings were good, so we decided to order these. My husband got their buffalo blue burger. He said it was one of the best he's had in some time. The angus beef had cheese crumbles, caramelized onions and buffalo sauce. Even though the bun was large, the burger was larger than the bun! Burgers come with waffle fries, and they were nice and crispy. I got to "steal" some. I got a small order of their chicken wings and requested mainly flats -- which they don't normally do. However, I did get mostly flats and with my requested lemon pepper flavor. They were lightly seasoned. And enough of an order to take a few home for later. Can't wait to come back. The boulevard is my home away from home. The best happy hr Monday thru Friday 3-7pm. Taco Tuesdays, 2 tacos for $5 and $4 dollar giant margs! Sundays during football season they have a Dj (the best DJ) from 4 to 8 that plays the best music on commercial breaks during the games. My only complaint is that during football season forget It, can't move or get a table which I get it's a sports bar. Had a great experience there tonight. The acoustic guitar/singer played nearly the entire 5 pm until 8 pm. Perfect selection and sound for hanging out. Ok - so I knew going in that this was a very local, hole in the wall dive bar. Lots of tvs playing sports plus a guitarist playing live (and loud) music. Most of the tables are high tops.. plus a few booths. Server was prompt and attentive. Food was really good - better than expected. And, the bill was less than expected. I recently read a positive article about the Boulevard in the newspaper and was excited to try it as I was hoping to find a new local hang-out for lunch or a drink. Sadly, this place isn't going to be it. The food was terrible. The hamburger seemed to be pre-packaged and not fresh or hand-made. It was very messy and not at all appetizing. I asked for it to be cooked to medium temperature. Instead, I got an over-done hockey puck. The side of onion rings also looked like they came right out of a package and were not particularly flavorful. While I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal, I was hoping for something more than just frozen food stuck in a fryer or on a grill. The price was also higher than expected. The burger cost $12.95 even though the sign in the window advertised it at $9.95. A friend had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich and tater tots. He was not impressed either, although the fish sandwich was better than the burger. At least the beer was good. It was the right temperature and reasonably priced. The Boulevard was not very busy at lunch. That should have been a clue about the quality of the food. I'm not rushing back any time soon. read more

Such a cute place to come for drinks and stay a while. The decor really sets the vibe and draws you in. There's lots of table seats and bar seats. We opted for the bar and were greeted right away. Our glass of wine and beer arrived quickly and tasted delicious. The bartender chatted for a minute and went on her way. She came back and checked on us regularly. Perfect service!
