Oh my gosh this is the most special lunch place on the Earth. I love love their macaroons. Sandwiches are fabulous. I feel almost emotional about this place its so perfect. I have been used to going to the other Euro Pane further out on Colorado. But today my friend suggested that we come here. I liked that because it is an easy walk from my house. It's bigger than the other one, and the interior is nicely done too. Lots more to chose from as well. And I really like the outdoor seating, although the chairs are a little uncomfortable. Nice and sort of off the seat a little. Not like the Starbucks on Los Robles and Colorado which has just a few little tables on the sidewalk. The reason the that it only gets four stars is that we only split a muffin and didn't try much else. I will definitely be back. read more

I have been meaning to write this for a while. I used to go to Sumi's other location farther east on Colorado but now I can go to the bakery closer to my home(across from Paseo). The newer location has exactly the same quality and service as the east Colorado location. Great place, high quality. read more

The macaroon here is so gd and cheap in price! They are bigger then the normal ones that you get in other places. I bought 14 macaroons and the guy there was so nice and gave me one for free! Best place to go for macaroons and other sweets. read more

fantastic food, great AND fast service,very friendly counter help. Plenty of parking off Euclid into the building that says residence only.(it really is EuroPane parking). It's really a happy place to be.Roast beef On multi grain bread and a hazelnut Macaron was the perfect lunch. Don't forget to try the Arnold Palmer made with fresh squeezed lemonade and crimson berry tea.Soooooooo refreshing. If you have to go to Europane, pick this one. Much nicer looking than the original (the central long wooden table is gorgeous) and for some reason the pastries are tastier than at the original. Still pay too much for what you get but that's what happens when you go out for coffee. read more

Breakfast at Europane is the BEST. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich and the fresh orange juice.

Best Egg salad sandwich I ever had. It was open faced and the flavors were unbelievable, My husband had a prosciuto and arugula flatbread with figs and goat cheese. My mouth waters just typing out the review. Very cute atmosphere and their pastries are amazing. I wish they were closer. read more

5/28/2011 we once again went back for breakfast and really really HATE the service. this is EURO "PAIN". Worse customer service There's a girl that works there that is the worse customer service person. Don't know her name but she has the most grumpy look constantly. Rarely smiles and looks very unhappy with working there. She's short with shoulder length black hair, perhaps hispanic, slightly overweight. I wish I knew her name so if the owner of the place ever read this she can figure out who to fire. There also several guys that's just plain lazy. all have shaved heads. If the owner ever reads this I hope you take a real good look at your staffing. i will likely still come here for breakfast because there's no other place with decent coffee and pastries but if i ever do find one, i am so out of here. read more

TERRIBLE!!! The waitress was all in a hurry and rushing and when she brought our food she forcefully slammed it on the table and hit the coffee and spilled all over my wife's dress. She then cowardly ran away, without saying one word. She didn't even apologize. We then left immediately, but not before asking for a refund. The owner didn't even offer us a refund. We had to ask for a refund then they replied " on what plate". The workers acted like nothing happened. Nobody even apologize. The nicest people where the other customers sitting around us that offered to help. The manager in charge acted like nothing happened and didn't apologize. WE WHERE TREATED WITHOUT ANY RESPECT. The tables where falling apart and weren't stabilized. My phone, cloths, and glasses where all soaked in coffee. The food itself was sitting out on the shelf for hours. One of the workers took peoples orders, while talking and breathing over all the pastries, which was disgusting. And all the utensils where all dirty in a plastic cup. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! read more

Love, love, love this place!! Great coffee, decadent pastries, and really good salads and sandwiches. It's a little on the pricey side, but well worth the occasional treat. Only drawbacks are lack of parking and seating space. It's always crowded when we go and we usually have to wait a few minutes to get a seat. I have been a customer of this "use to be cool place" until this morning when I witnessed the girl behind the counter be SOOO rude to a man who was apparently visiting for the first time. You know they keep a food selection on the counter and this man reached and grab a breakfast burrito and asked to purchase it with his coffee. The woman behind the counter screamed at him "DON'T TOUCH THE FOOD. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING? ASK AND I WILL GET IT!!" The man was SO embarrassed!! I felt SO bad for him that I DID NOT order and walked out! just a few weeks ago, my girlfriend said she was in line there and picked up a "blank" gift card, just to look at, because it's a NEW thing there, then she put it back, well, the blonde woman behind the counter asked her "Did you just put that in your purse????" in front of EVERYBODY in line... She was Mortified.... When she said "I beg your pardon?" the woman working there, repeated the same question, as if my friend was a thief. The customer service has gone WAYYYY Down from when the former "OWNER" ran the place!!! I don't know If I will be going back or sharing anything good about Europane, Bakery + Cafe!! read more

Another favorite Brunch Place! I love their BLT sandwich and their famous Egg Salad Sandwich. Love their rich chocolate tart dessert. They offer a wide selections of great macarons as well for its decent price and size. Will definitely keep returning, how can you not? We love this place, always pleased with the food, and very pleasant atmosphere. I just need to vent a little about a couple of things that make the experience a little less enjoyable in the hopes that the owners may actually read their reviews...This is the kind of order at the counter and then wait for your food to be brought to you place. That works fine but you also have to self serve your water and silverware. Again, not a problem, except that most of the time when we go, there are no clean water glasses, only dinky little plastic cups that are not very well suited to the atmosphere or quality of food. I also find the silverware to be an issue. It is not very sturdy silverware and I often find when trying to cut my food that the knives and forks just bend and have to get up and search through the containers for a better pair. Lastly, the salt and pepper are in Trader Joes grinding containers. I don't know if these are bought new regularly or re-filled but either way it just seems a bit tacky. I know these seem like pretty trivial things, but they are the kind of things that can turn a great dining experience into a mediocre dining experience. I also think that it makes the establishment seem cheap (not in price but in attitude). Euro Pane is always busy and I have a hard time believing that they can't afford to invest in some nicer silverware, more water glasses (or someone to wash the glasses often) and some proper salt and pepper shakers, perhaps ones that match the personality/decor of the place. In fact, if they are purchasing the TJ's S&P new all the time, they'll probably find that over time, using refillable shakers and buying the S&P in bulk will be much cheaper. Anyway, other than those gripes, I say go check this place out, the egg sandwich is delish and so is the breakfast bun! read more

This location (across from the Paseo) is much better than the original. It is modern and clean. I ordered the egg sandwich on the rosemary current bread. It was pretty good but not as fabulous as people make it out to be. The tomato spread that they put on the bread really makes it. If that wasn't there, the sandwich would be bland. I would't get it again. My husband got the roast beef sandwich on multigrain bread. It was REALLY good...and big! If I were to order it, I would get it with no mayo and horseradish on the side. Both sandwiches were about $8. Looks like you can get a half sandwich for $5, which is good. We also had the espresso macaroon $1.65...YUMMY....and the mocha cookie $2...pretty good! I almost forgot to mention the lemonade...wonderful...nice and tart, just the way I like it! We parked at the Paseo and validated our parking at one of the stores at the Paseo.
