The bathroom has a little basket with items to refresh yourself. Honestly was the best auto shop lounge area I've ever been in. I appreciate Bryan and Richard for taking care of my vehicle needs. I dropped my vehicle off while I was going out of town. When I returned, the car was not ready yet, as I had hoped to get it straight from the airport. I was thankful that they sent an Uber to take me back to the shop when the car was ready because I do not live close. It was only convenient to drop it there because it's not too far from IAH. One upon a time, out of a place deep deep in the gates of hell and sewers, one of the worst types of human cruelty decided to target my truck and steel my catalytic converter. Leaving me with a truck so loud that when driving home, every other truck was trying to get me to race it. So I ended up at the Toyota dealer who told me that I'm number 127 in line to get it replaced and the wait would only be 1 month. What da!? So I left it there to wait, wanting original parts. I can do this right. Then on a follow up call 2 weeks into the wait they confirmed that the wait will be more like 3 month. Three months?! As in 1,2,3? Also known as one, two, three? Just no. There has got to be a better way. So I call my usual mechanic who referred me to another mechanic who does custom work and they go by the name of Ripley's. I call and I said, "how long?" They said "5 hours". I said "what!" They said "um hmm" I said "go pick it up at Toyota". 1 hour later my truck is at Ripley's. 5 hours after that I get a text saying, "blah, blah, blah, Done! I'm like, " what? " They like "yeah". So in pure disbelief I zoom on over there. And there she is... glistening in the sun, with even a new anti-theft converter cover. My lovely vehicle that identifies as a Truck; was there waiting for me. And Tommy, the owner of Ripley's, was standing there with a red cape with a big "R" on his chest and my set of keys. I paid $700 in total. The mechanic told me the issue would be resolved after replacement. However, within a few days, the same check engine code returned and the issue was not fixed. A second mechanic and 3rd at muffler shop later confirmed the installed converter appears to be a generic unit that may not be sufficient for this vehicle. I had to replace the installed one again with the proper one and pay additional $500, I tried contacting the business for follow-up but did not receive a response. I am sharing my experience so others are aware. I do not recommend using him.
