Roman and his team did an excellent job on my Mercedes GL-450: Brakes, Transmission Checks, Oil Change. He makes recommendations with intelligence and mechanical expertise. He also worked on my E-320 suspension system and oil leak. The repairs were done without any issue. He cleaned the engine without even asking and didn't charge me. The engine had not been cleaned in over 10 years. When I opened the hood it looked showroom clean. He and his team take the extra step. I trust Roman and his team 100%. I brought my BMW to my dealership down the street for a diagnosis after my engine light came on for the 2nd time in a week. I've patronized this dealership over the last 10 years with 2 different Beemers. Imagine my shock and HORROR when the total for parts and service quoted was over $6000! The 2nd shock and HORROR was that my extended warranty had run out last month! Agreeing that this $6000 service plan seemed excessive, a friend at the dealership referred me to Roman and his European Motor Service shop for a 2nd opinion. He said that Roman was an expert in diagnosing and servicing European cars and that he was fair and reasonably priced. In fact, this referring party brings his own car to Roman for service and he urged me to go! Imagine my 3rd shock and ensuing GRATITUDE when Roman popped the hood to show me that the wastegate had broken off and that all I likely needed was a small replacement part which was under $500! From the beginning when I spoke to Roman over the phone, until he handed me back my car which runs perfectly smoothly again-Roman was a straight shooter. Roman is "old school." He wants to keep you in your car and to keep your car running. Both he and his assistant Andrea were friendly and helpful throughout these 2 days. Roman is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! He and European Motor Service is the only place I have trusted my car to for the last 4-5 years. I have a Mercedes E350 and my service has been excellent, and if I have any concerns or issues (like tire pressure or if any light comes on my dashboard), he tells me to bring it on in. He'll put it on the computer and fixes the issue ASAP. The last time I brought it in, he didn't even charge me, and he just happened to fix my headrest for free! I didn't even ask him; he noticed they had opened up! As a single woman it is important for me to feel like I can trust a company and not feel like I'm being played or ripped off. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't compliment them enough. From the polite receptionist to the expertise of Roman. I will never take my Mercedes elsewhere. My Car began having issues starting, thinking the dealership would know exactly what is wrong I took my 2014 Mercedes, to the Ray Catena dealership in Edison, NJ and what a TERRIBLE idea. They had no idea what was wrong with my car and had to contact Germany to find out what they should do. They had my vehicle for 2 weeks advising I may need a new valve or transmission in costs of $3,300 to $6,600 but first wanted to try out a new key ($330) to cancel out a possible key issue. $600 and 2 weeks later my vehicle was not fixed at the dealership and they made me pay for the key and "diagnostic". My brother luckily found Roman, when I called Roman and explained my issue he stated the dealership is not making any sense since your vehicle is drivable, it sounds like you just need new batteries. I couldn't believe it!! And when I finally got my vehicle to Roman that's all it was, my 2 batteries in which he was able to diagnose over the phone! His expertise is amazing and he saved me thousands of dollars!!! I will only trust my vehicle with him going forward. The receptionist even helped me bring my vehicle home since I was driving a rental talk about service!!! I Highly recommend and would give 1 million stars if I could!!!!!
