I've been hesitant to post a review but for selfish reasons, I don't want anyone to take my waxer lol. But! I know when trying out a new place I'm always researching to find the best people there, so I figured I'd spread the love. The front desk is so professional and courteous, they call if your waxer is out sick with plenty of notice, they're quick to answer and so kind! I've been coming here for three years, Morgan was the absolute best but ended up moving last year so I've been hopping from waxer to waxer and while everyone is great, I'm now sticking with Leticia. Things I get done are Brazilian(monthly), eyebrow(2/3x per year), upper lip(once a year..maybe). I've been doing Brazilians with Leticia and while I was a little scared to do my eyebrows (traumatized from past waxers and threaders), she did amazing and cleaned them up exactly how I wanted and didn't go too thin. Not all EWCs are the same, trust me on that,(9 years going to EWCs in three different states and multiple cities) but this one takes the cake! Front desk, waxers, cleanliness, ease of scheduling (and rescheduling), EWC Allen is all around amazing! (Arelle also comes highly recommended for eyebrow waxing but I personally haven't tried her out yet). read more

Been coming here for a minute. Didn't like my encounter with the front service male tonight, he's usually at the Murphy store (which he said is his store). Cannot wait until I finish up my package I paid for and go back to Depil, I rather give them my money! They care about keeping their customers and the front desk has way better customer service! This review is no reflection on the waxer, Tee, she's amazing, I would go to her over and over and hopefully she leaves this place, but when you pay so much for the service and you tip really well I just expect better customer service! read more

I've been seen my Desiree twice now and both times have been absolutely incredible. Her attention to detail is very much appreciated. She takes time to check in with me even though the service is super sho. Her pulls are very quick leaving hardly any pain. UPDATE: I had a pass. Upon my last visit, the waxer left wax crumbs and in her efforts to remove them, she was forceful and a day or so later I found bruising. I addressed it with the manager and while she refunded the remaining value of the pass, she charged me for the wax that left me bruised. read more

Wish I could give 0 stars for this location. I've tried to call Managment for over a week to discuss my concerns however no one has called me back. For the past 2 months my appointment has been canceled minutes before it was scheduled. One month it was on my birthday which was very stressful. Everyone talks bad about this location and now I see why. I would've felt better if Managment listened to my concerns and at least answered the phone. However, it's clear they do not care! Save your money and time by avoiding this place! Drive 15 minutes further to the McKinney location instead! Trust me! read more

I've been a customer of EWC for years and recently learned there are different franchise owners in DFW. Little did I know all the other locations I'd been going to werent owned by the folks at the one in Allen - no joke, night AND day difference. The team in Allen is INCREDIBLE! Easy to get an appointment, I called a day in advance. Arielle is a fabulous esthetician and obviously very well-educated and pleasantly conversational! I would go back and see her in a minute. The people at the front desk were very polite and helpful. Although the waiting area is welcoming, the individual rooms could use a little more detail and atmosphere. Maybe a lighting change or color on the walls? Followed by a room diffuser and light music? The feeling in the rooms was very much like that of an urgent care facility. Stark and bland and sterile. I have been coming here for over seven years. The receptionist is absolutely phenomenal and does an outstanding job. My waxer is Stacey W and she is absolutely amazing! I have never in over the seven years had one single complaint. She has the most tenure with the company at this location and has the most repeat clients. Stacey greets me with a smile, and I'm always leaving not only with confidence, but with a a huge smile no matter my mood walking in. Her customer service and quality of work is superior. Over the years, I have watched her single-handedly Turn a disgruntled customer into a raving fan. I will follow Stacey wherever she goes! I have watched managers, come and go.... But the current one is by far the worst that EWC could've ever hired/promoted!!! Brooke is a nasty, horrible human being! It really makes me second-guess EWC as a company, having her be one of their representatives, or letting her deal with any of their quality waxers and customers. When a customer is the one that tells their waxer that they no longer have a job then we have a serious management issue here. Worst wax experience in my entire life!!! The wax is awful, sticks to your skin, irritates and clogs your pores. But the worst part was the temperature of the wax was too high and the technician was inexperienced. I told her she was burning my skin and she tells me it's supposed to be that hot. Really?? I don't think burning clients is the best way to get repeat business. Sure this place is cheap but at the cost of your skin. And she didn't even get all of the hair! Won't be back. read more

Jutara is absolutely amazing! I go to her for my Brazilian waxes and I couldn't ask for a more experienced technician. She was the first person I'd ever been to for a Brazilian and she talked me through it and made me laugh. The first time was painful (no surprise there!), but the rest were extremely easy and very fast. Anyone who can make it as pain free as possible, works quickly and doesn't make it awkward gets five stars from me! So far every girl at the front desk has been a doll. Overall I've always had a great experience with EWC and I suggest giving them a shot. They also have a deal for first timers and online booking. read more

I have been a client for 2 years and always content with the service I get from Lauren. Today my experience with management was horrible. The receptionist Cherish was unprofessional and condescending. She charged me for services that were not provided. When I asked to explain the cost she said she could not give me back my money. She said the manager was not in but she would have her call me back. After many hours I called again and she said that the manager would call me tomorrow. I love Lauren! She does an amazing job on my brows every. single. time. Over the course of a couple months she has helped me fill in a little bald spot that I had in one of my brows. I've never been one to prebook appointments, but I do with her to make sure she's always there when my brows need her the most! Super sweet & friendly. I've been waxing with EWC for almost 4 years now. I love how gentle their wax is and their technique to minimize pain. Their products are also noteworthy too. The serum is probably the best thing to invest in... really great for in grown hairs and soothing for the most sensitive skin. I recently moved from Houston and I've wanting to to find an awesome waxer like I had back home. (Shoutout to My from Missouri City!) My appointment was with Dahlia and she was extremely calm and friendly. She was pleasant to talk to but I wished her waxing technique could have been better. I didn't feel like she removed all the hair. I'd give her another chance before requesting someone else. I love the convenience of this location since it's right off 75. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I knew I was going to be late, so I called to inform the front desk. The guy that answered the phone said as long as I arrived within 9 minutes of scheduled appointment I was ok, because Ariel was booked back to back for the rest of the day. When I arrived, at the 9 minute mark, the lady at the front desk said I was too late. I informed her that the guy I spoke to said I had 9 minutes. When he came from the back, he agreed that he told me I had 9 minutes to get there, but he also admitted that he failed to tell me that I really had to arrived with 8 minutes and 59 seconds of my appointment, and because I was 1 second late I was not able to see Ariel. I asked to speak to Ariel because I had a gift for, since I'm leaving for the military. He said he would go to the back to get her. He returned about 10 minutes later, and said she left for the day. Obviously he was lying about something, because when I first arrived and when I called, he said she was booked for the rest of the day. The customer service at this location is horrible. This isn't the first unpleasant instance I've had with the front desk associates. I understand there are policies that are to be followed, but I arrived within the time limit he gave me, and him not allowing me to see the esthetician I've booked with for over year because I was 1 second late, according to the new policy he mentioned when I arrived, is really disappointing. Not to mention, lying to customers, which is the upmost disrespect. My experience today makes me want to discontinue the services I've paid for, and never return to another European Wax Center. read more

I've been going to this EWC ever since they opened the location a few years ago. I typically don't stick with one waxer because of my busy schedule so whenever I have time, I just go to the waxer available at that time. All waxers are not created equal so if you find someone you like, I would stick to them. They have a 9-minute grace period if you are late to your appointment which has come in handy a few times for me when I underestimated traffic or what not. They have some good products too that aren't too overpriced (primarily the in-grown hair serum and the exfoliant). Happy Waxing! read more

Found this salon on Yelp, of course! They only had one opening the first call, so my wife went in. WOW, so amazing, Ann had her in and out in 10 minutes with a perfect wax. AND the first one is FREE! Then you have the option to purchase a year's worth of waxes at the cost of only 9, but you've already received the first one free, so you end up saving about 30% on every wax for a year! I've been to many EWC around the country and this is by the far the most unprofessional. Consistently late about 15 minutes, if the customer needs to be on time or else they block you, shouldn't the estheticians. Estheticians are rude to your face and seem to make a sport out of who can shame their customer the most in front of others. Front staff cares more about eating their lunch, which is all over the counter, than helping customers. I would never recommend this location to anyone. It has turned me off to the entire brand. read more

Was hesitant and nervous at first, but Ariel is amazing! She is a pro, friendly, funny and makes you feel at ease.

My last experience with Stacie has convinced me to find another location or brand. I have three daughters who also frequent this location and have been fairly pleased through the years. However, we have never experienced the unprofessional treatment that I received last week. While I totally respect the fact that I have had to wait at least 10 min in the past for my scheduled appointments, I expected the same respect to be given to me when I arrived 5 minutes late (under their allotted time). Stacie made me so uncomfortable by the tone of her voice, facial expressions, comments about my skin, insensitivity to the way I respond to pain (even though I told her I just needed her to talk me through b/c it was my first time to do my legs.) I almost walked out. I think that is what she was trying to accomplish. My appointment was so rushed, it felt like it was over in roughly 10 minutes. I found it interesting because the front desk scheduled my next one for 30 minutes. So whether my appointment was not scheduled for the time needed to professionally complete a first time lower leg or because I was 5 min late, I do NOT feel like I was treated respectfully nor professionally. After reflecting on my experience, sharing with others and dreading walking into that room again, I have decided to find another place to wax. read more

So I must start with I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Morgan. She is the ONLY reason I have stayed with EWC. Her customer service, customer care & empathy is REMARKABLE. She & Arielle are TRULY the face and the glue to this location since Molly left which was really really really sad. The turnover is really bad. I can't figure out how they've kept the couple they have because the OWNERS & ESPECIALLY the regional manager NICOLE are HORRENDOUS. She schedules herself to be at the store and then isn't EVER there. I've made attempts to contact corporate as well because this location needs to appreciate their employees MORE & respect the customers. I used to refer people all the time at my job and friends but don't anymore. I hope to one day talk to someone that really cares about this location. I love my job but often want to apply to EWC for a management position to just help & show them how to treat BOTH employees & customers!!! After being a loyal customer of the EWC BRAND for 6+ years I'm not sure that I will renew my annual passes next year if some changes aren't made SOON!!! I hope someone really reviews these and will care!!! read more
