I use to go Pinky's years ago but then a salon opened close to my house so I switched, loved it and the price was great. However after years there they went out of business. So I decided to go back to Pinky. First visit went great, got my usual new set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. Second visit not so good. Just wanted a new set of nails only. I wanted pink and white, her nails were like that too only less white. told her I liked that, could she do mine like that said it 4 time only she just did them the way they were when I came it. I was in that chair for one hour and 35 minutes. I have never had my nail take more then 45 to 60 minutes from start to finish. On top of that a man came in and she yelled I will take him and at that point started rushing my nails, to late someone else took him. But the real topper was when she checked me out, she kept telling me to type my name in I was looking at the screen and my name and phone number was staring back at me. So I told her it is already in there, she got a little huffy came around the counter said type it in and deleted what was already in there so I had to redo it. The total on the screen was showing $65.00 due, when I finished retyping in my info she added on another $10.00 I said what is that for I left you a $10.00 tip at your table she said it was because she had to remove my old set. which was 8 nails not all 10. I have been having my nails done for over 30 years and NEVER EVER PAID EXTAR to remove the old set, it is always part of the price. I said I would be back in a week for a pedicure but trust me I will NEVER go back there again. They are a rip off. Plenty of other salons in town. read more

I love coming here for my pedicures. Jinnie does an amazing job every time and never disappoints. I always get the lavender pedicure which is my favorite but they have other choices to choose from if lavender is not your thing. Jinnie takes her time and does such a great job, shews sweet, professional and highly recommend you request her when visiting here. I do also get my nails and eyebrow waxing here with Kelly. Overall the staff is super nice and welcoming, I like that they go out of your way to talk with you and actually remember you when you come back. The service does not disappoint and the prices are affordable. I recommend you stop here and check it out. Terrible I had an appointment and once I was in I got seated with an older lady I asked for a simple design and Kelly said they could go it said 1 hour and 30 minutes so I sent my ride away it took and hour for acrylics and she was very short with me . She go my design backwards and was terrible I mean a 3 year old could do it better . The lady next to me had a mani and pedi and was already out . My nails looked terrible and so I spoke up she filled all of it off and started doing it right well I was there like 3 hours at that point and so Kelly started working on me as I was getting a little frustrated she finished and I still paid full price . Not to mention after I asked for it to be done again they were talking a lot . Now it's been 4 days they look like press on's and the paint is chipping and not cured underneath there is dust from the filing under cured topcoat they have peeled the paint and I am not happy .i came in out of town for vacation and left unhappy .Kelly is okay but the salon is terrible . No one should ever go here if they want good results . The vibe was awkward they don't have good English and when they talk to each other they are very loud and obnoxious!!! I am deeply saddened by the experience I had with Kelly Nguyen, the owner and "esthetician" of this business. I've struggled with acne and acne scars my whole life, and she made me feel like she could help. At first, I was happy with her services. My first chemical peel was $95--she took her time, prepped me well, and I left with only slight redness that faded into a nice glow. This gave me the trust to return for microneedling, which also went well. She charged $125, and I felt content with the results. Almost 4 weeks ago, I returned for another chemical peel, expecting the same as before. Instead, she told me she would use a salicylic acid peel "for acne," calling it a more mild version of my first peel. She didn't explain further, show me the product, or prep me properly. She rushed, quickly rubbed some cream on my face, and then applied the solution only on random areas--my chin, most of my right cheek, and dots on my left. None were the areas I had expressed concern about. Within seconds, my face was burning in excruciating pain. When I looked in the mirror, the treated spots had turned white and looked severely burned. She wiped it off after only 2 minutes, but the white patches stayed. Instead of taking responsibility, she told me not to worry, insisted it was normal, and spent 10 minutes rummaging through her messy, unorganized room looking for an antibacterial spray--then admitted she couldn't find it. She only applied sunscreen and sent me on my way. The whole process was rushed and took about 20 minutes. Despite only spot-treating me and failing to finish the service, she charged me $110. I paid, hoping it was normal, but as soon as I got home my skin turned patchy, flaky, and reddish-brown. Over the next two days, I researched obsessively, terrified I had a chemical burn. Another licensed esthetician confirmed my fear just from photos and told me to see a doctor. At urgent care, I was officially diagnosed and treated for a chemical burn and prescribed a cream. I was furious and went back to confront Kelly, showing her the paperwork. I asked her to show me the product she used--she refused, saying, "I can't show you that for my own protection." What about my protection? My face? She even tried blaming me, saying it was because I didn't buy her $60 sunscreen (though she originally told me I could use any). She said, "I don't know what you did to your skin," even though I followed her only instructions--to wash with water and wear sunscreen. She eventually refunded me, but not without sending multiple texts insisting my skin would be back to normal in 7 days--it wasn't. Almost a month later, I still have noticeable hyperpigmentation, especially on my chin, and have to wear even more makeup to cover it. I feel traumatized and more insecure about my skin than before. To make things worse, even before this happened, my mother had a terrible pedicure at her salon--her toes looked awful, and she warned me not to go back. I defended Kelly anyway because I trusted her, and now I deeply regret it. Please do not go to Kelly Nguyen for esthetician services. She is uneducated, careless, and unsafe. She traumatized me and damaged my skin, and I wouldn't wish this on anyone else. read more

This was my first time at Pinky's Nail & Spa and they did not disappoint! The ambiance and relaxing music was wonderful and my friend and I had the most amazing pedicures. I decided to get my nails done as well and they took their time, but they turned out beautifully! I went with a shellac pedicure because they last longer and did a dip powder for my nails so they can be stronger. It was out of the way as far as my location but we were in the area and gave it a try, and I'm so glad we did! The owner was so sweet and complimented my nails and our matching shoes. Called in at 9:15 this morning to make an appointment for my daughter and I shellac ManI/pedi We arrive at 4 o'clock and we are approached by Kelly. She takes my daughter and sits her down and puts foil on her fingers and leaves her for 45 minutes while she rushes through my manicure and going back-and-forth into a back room with another client who did not have an appointment . They take three more people after my daughter and I leaving one technician to go in between the two of us.
