She took the time to really listen to what I wanted and any concerns I had, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy with everything. She is so skilled, knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely kind. I've never really minded getting my brows waxed, but I usually feel at least a little sting. With Carly, I literally felt nothing! She was so gentle and made the entire experience so comfortable. And most importantly, my brows came out PERFECT and exactly how I wanted them! I haaaaate that I'm going to name drop because now she's gonna get all booked up and I'm not going to be able to schedule an appt for me when it's convenient for me. Lol. But people need to know about her. She deserves to be recognized and known. I'll start with when my friend and I walked in, greeted and felt welcomed. We arrived early, expected to wait we were about maybe 20 mins early. No big deal if we did have to wait. Both the ladies that were at the front were nice and knowledgeable. Definitely tried to talk to us and calm our nerves as it's our firs time doing anything like this. Received a brochure in regards to other add-on services and a list of do's and don'ts. Didn't get to sit down and wait very long before Samantha called me in. She and I hit it right off the bat. Conversation was smooth. We were vibing. The room was clean and well kept. My only thing was it could've been swept up a little bit more as I did see some hair and stuff on the floor near the chair when we walked in. Told her it was my first time and that I was really nervous. But she made the whole process smooth. No pun intended. LOL! I got my first Brazillian, it was definitely nerve racking but she talked with me the whole way through and tried to keep my mind off of it. Worked for some parts and didn't work for others. Not her fault or anything, my pain tolerance is low. LOL! Before I knew it, we were done. Thank the lord! Overall, it wasn't bad. She was great. I MAY do it again. Not sure yet, but I'm definitely open to the idea, for sure. When we were done, she walked me out. Went over a list of do's and don'ts. It was nice. I was a client of European wax company for many years in miami so I decided to schedule an appt two weeks ago for my dtrs first wax session. I get a text the morning of the appt stating that my appt has been canceled and I cannot be rescheduled for the same day. I called to clarify and I was told to come in at 1:15 even though I had specified that I couldn't originally go at that time. I came in for a full Brazilian and unfortunately left disappointed. The table was covered with a layer of protective paper, but the vinyl edges were cracked--there's no way to properly sanitize that. Honestly, I'm surprised this meets health standards. I decided to continue with the service because I had an event coming up. I asked the waxer to leave a small bit at the top of the hood since that area can be especially sensitive--but what was left was way more than I expected. It looked incomplete. Even more frustrating, I noticed leftover wax still on my thighs after I had left and was walking through the grocery store. I had to go straight to work and didn't get a chance to shower until the next morning--only to find wax still between my cheeks and visible patches of hair still on the front where I had been waxed. Was this a new technician? The 50% off first-time rate was appealing, but if this is the level of service, I won't be returning. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback: invest in training, support your staff, and uphold hygiene standards. Today was my 1st visit to the Center and I am less than impressed. Had my 1st ever leg wax and full face wax. It was extremely painful- which may just be me but I am not certain that is could not have been performed in a less painful manner. I left with wax all over me and and when I asked she said oh it will wash off? I also still have hair on my chin and cheek areas, which I could not see till I got home. I came here today 8/27/25 my first time getting a Brazilian wax by someone. I was supposed to be scheduled with Samantha and they had told me she called out then another customer had came in and told me that Samantha was her regular wax specialist and she calls out a lot. I just read alot of good reviews but then I got a specialist named Kayla. She was sweet she calmed me down from being so nervous which was nice. But she didn't leave the room so I can get comfortable at first no towels no nothing she stayed in the room as a got undressed for the wax which in my opinion I just thought was unprofessional. And anyway the wax came out great but then I walked out and my butt etc was sticky from the wax. She didn't clean afterwards or anything. I thought she was just tryna to get rid of me and start on the next client. So that was also pretty upsetting if this ur first time getting a wax I recommend not coming here !! This was my first time at this location being that I was on vacation. I live in California and our wax centers we're still closed so I figured I would take advantage while I was in Florida. I've gotten multiple Brazilian waxes but have never experienced what I did this time. I don't remember the waxers name but if I'm remembering correctly she had short black hair maybe with color I'm not sure this was a couple weeks back. She was not rude or unprofessional in any ways however I was not satisfied with the wax. Usually when I get waxed and their little hairs left over they pluck them and she did not and did not clean off all of the wax. I had never gotten any ingrown hairs before or had any scars and after this wax i got them. Every time I wax the hair grows back thinner but this time it grew thicker and quicker than usual. When I heard that they were finally opened on Friday 2 weeks ago I was excited I went there and received 3 free waxing. Eyebrows, lip and neck. I got tech named Jennifer, she was struggling with all of them. Manager came in and tried to teach her what to do. They abused my face and when I got home and looked in the mirror my face looked like someone repeatedly smacked me all over my face. Oh BTW, I had 2 huge interviews later that day. End result is she missed a lot on those 3 areas. The receptionist was awesome and welcoming. The tech Lorrie was horrible and somewhat rude. I'm new to the area and was looking for a wax tech to get my face and Brazilian done and picked this place since it's professional. However, I felt as if the tech was unfamiliar with African American skin and hair removal bc she removed nothing. Ran the wax twice and barely removed anything. When I inquired about wax, she was short and opted to pluck. If I wanted my lip and chin plucking I would have gone to a threader or did it myself. Once it was over she didn't even bother to wipe my face or remove the residue. She told me "you can go to bathroom to clean yourself". This is the 1st time I have ever been treated like that as I'm familiar with waxing, threading, etc. I'm glad I know they can't wax before I got my Brazilian and had to deal with ingrown. I'm hoping my face doesn't get worse since the tech didn't give a damn about treating it. I even tipped her thanks to the receptionist being so pleasant.
