Very honest, professional and quick car mechanic. 10/10 would come back here for any car issues I have going forward. Called them due to a check engine light on a VW Jetta and they were very helpful with getting me setup with an appointment. Front desk staff was very kind when I dropped off and picked up the car. They were very up front with all the pricing and were vey communicative during the whole repair process (very quick to update me about ordering parts, shipping times, ext). Completely misled and taken advantage of. They claim to be Porsche experts but what they don't tell you is they are NOT an authorized Porsche service provider -- and only an authorized Porsche service center can fully service and clear Porsche inspection requirements. I found this out AFTER they finished my 2024 Cayenne and sent me the bill. Now I have to redo the entire service at an authorized Porsche service center and pay double because of their dishonesty. I went to Eurozone Motors to get my brake pads replaced, and it quickly turned into a red flag experience. They told me I had to replace my rotors too -- without even doing a proper inspection. It felt more like a sales tactic than real advice. They even tried to guilt-trip me by bringing up my kids, which I found really manipulative and unprofessional. Thankfully, I trusted my instincts and took my car to Busy Brakes for a second opinion. They replaced my brake pads and, without me saying anything about the previous place, told me my rotors were in great shape and didn't need to be replaced. That confirmed everything I suspected -- Eurozone was trying to scam me into unnecessary repairs. I can't recommend Eurozone Motors based on my experience. Be cautious -- especially if you're not familiar with car repairs. They'll try to upsell you things you don't need. read more

To start off. I have been in the automotive industry for 17 years. I also own my own automotive company and work with some of the top technicians in the industry. My wife Taisia and I have take our BMW to Eurozone a few times in the past due to the decent reviews and the convenience of living local. That was all about to change. Taisia owns this BMW and I chip in at times to help with cost since we both drive it. We both have individual invoices from the past working with this company. So there is that. The car broke and was towed to Eurozone to have a new fuel pump installed. We picked the car up the after two days and drove home which is a few miles away. Taisia drove the car the next morning to a gas station not even 1 mile away to fill the tank with gas. The gasoline was flowing out of the gas tank and was spewing everywhere and even on herself. We have pictures. Now we have to bring the car back to Eurozone and have them look at it, again. This wasn't fixed right or installed correctly it seemed since the car never did that until we got it back from Eurozone. I had talked to Eurozone and told them they need to fix this and resolve this issue since this is on them. I'm a bit stern and straight to the point, they told me I need to shift my attitude. I just told them to get it done and business is business but then realized the type of people I am dealing with. After diagnosing the problem on why it did that, they stated that the fuel pump gasket seal was faulty and needed to be replaced. That's a bit suspicious to me. Any mechanic would know to replace that while installing a new fuel pump. My wife had contacted them separately and was very upset and concerned because it was a huge safety hazard with all of that gas spilling, as anyone should be. That is your customer and that also owns the BMW that was worked on by Eurozone. She left a review on how she felt about the situation. Taisia made a few calls to monica the owner, who had a nasty attitude on dealing with this situation threatening her to not give her an update it the review wasn't removed asap... and snapped a few times at Taisia while at it. Turns out she likes to argue back at customers with that toxic attitude. We have a recording of the whole conversation. After an entire day sitting at the shop we finally get an update and turns out they are trying to work out more issues with the car. Okay. They said the car was having a hard time starting now and the batter was low. It's a brand new battery less than a year old. They then kept the car over night and held it there for a complete day saying they want to make sure it's running right. At the end of the day they contacted us and said the car needs to be looked at more concerning the fuel pump issue still. I was just getting a run around on what the deal is. We wanted the car out of their hands since they are clearly toxic to work with and unprofessional. In the mean time I talked to three of my work colleagues who are top Porsche and BMW techs and instantly picked out the issue with the car without even seeing it. Three professional opinions by three techs. They all said the same thing, get that car out of that shop asap before they do something worse this time. We scanned the BMW for a second opinion and the Evaporation error code came right up. So now we have to pay someone else to fix this issue they clearly couldn't. We finally picked the car up that night and they said car is parked on the street and to get the keys from one of the technicians in the back. We didn't find anyone and had to come inside to get my wife's BMW key fob. The owner Ronaldo came out giving us the nastiest stare down as we grabbed the key and was glaring at my wife. Who does that? Just take a loss and accept the fact that you could not fix the most basic issue and were upset over the fact that you guys got a bad review in the process. You should have earned that review to be removed instead of making it worse. We are now going to do some paper work on our end and see you soon. I strongly believe some of the 5 star reviews are fake. This is not the best option for European cars what so ever. Maybe Honda's and lower end vehicles is what they specialize in, but not Euros. read more

Not only this place is extremely overpriced, their service is horrible. I've taken my car here a few times because it's local and I trusted the fake reviews. They supposedly repaired my car but after driving it got barely 10 miles , it's now in worse condition. They supposedly replaced the fuel pump but now gas is leaking all over the place which is extremely dangerous. Instead of fixing their mistake and caring about their customers, they were trying to make me pay again saying the car was fine and it's supposedly a new issue. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I'll be getting legal help and shutting their operation down because now only they're incompetent with their repairs, they're also putting their customers in danger . Update: They eventually figured out that fuel leak is actually connected to the fuel pump replacement repair and is actually covered by their warranty ( who would've thought?! :D) Apparently, the mechanic was not aware that replacing a fuel pump in a BMW also requires the replacement of a gasket. However, instead of admitting a mistake/misdiagnosis/incompetence on their end that resulted in a serious damage to my car and created a potential life threatening conditions ( extreme fire hazard), the woman who claimed to be the owner started verbally assaulting me and threatening me. She refused to provide any updates on the car if I do not remove this review. She was attacking me personally, not letting me say a word, interrupting me, going off on a rant how my review can harm her business. I have told her multiple times that I would much rather just get a refund and go elsewhere but my car was held hostage. I am amazed and shocked that this place is not out of business. I am going to take my car to get it tested because I am sincerely afraid that they have done some more damage just to retaliate. My car got damaged by their incompetence and I have to pay another shop to fix the issues that were caused by Eurozone team. Hopefully, my honest review will save future possible clients from going through hell I was put through. As a European myself, I am personally offended that this place claims to be "Eurozone", it is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever had a "pleasure" to deal with. Save your money and nerve cells and go somewhere else because neither your car nor you will be ok after dealing with them. I went for their $29.95 special to completely diagnose the issues with my 17 year old European car. I'd be the first to admit they did a very good job which went way beyond the $29.95 I paid, complete with photos and videos of things like the injector valves that I didn't understand. The upshot was that would cost around $7,000.00 to completely fix the problems, and they didn't disagree that the car was only worth $2,000.00. After carefully considering this option and talking it over with mechanically inclined friends and family members, I politely said I really appreciated what they did but my wife and I decided not put any more money into the car. I also said I worked during the week about a 40 minute drive from their shop and I'd appreciate it if I could pick the car up over the weekend, just put the remote key in the back of the station wagon (where there were any number of tote bags, etc where I assumed they would put the key). Fine, they said, and when I picked the car up using my cheapie valet key, guess what, there was no $350 remote key to be found anywhere! For reasons I'll never understand, they pitched the key into a rear compartment loaded with electronic gizmos (see picture below) which it evidently fell behind. They they REFUSED to take the electronics out to find the key. When I asked why, the gist of it was that I owed them anyway for leaving the car there so long (which they never complained about the whole time they had it) and because I asked to pick it up on a weekend (which they also never complained about). Now I either have to shell out $350 for a new key or go to another shop to do what they refuse to do. I agree that I have no reason to know exactly why they put the key in an inaccessable spot. However, their response when I (at first) politely asked them to fix the problem that they caused (and waited for what seemed like close to an hour to learn that evidently all they did was shine a flashlight into the area pictured below) leads me to believe they may have been upset over my decision not to go through with the repairs that they recommended after all the work they did. Perhaps it would behoove them to charge more for the diagnostic work (which exceeded my expectations as i stated above) so as not to create a "you owe me" expectation once this work is done. Yes, I did tell them I would give them a bad Yelp review, not as a negotiating tactic (since they flat out refused to help me no matter what I said) but in hopes that no one else will be subjected to the treatment I received, which left me upset for the entire rest of the day (OK, I guess that was my existential choice, but still . . . ,) I even offered a compromises of splitting the cost of a new key 50/50, but this was rejected. After I first posted this review, I was told, among other things, that the review was "bogus." So I went in and toned down some of the language but having looked at this review again, I'd really like to know what's "bogus" or inaccurate about it. They did me a "solid" with the diagnostics but that doesn't entitle them to shabby treatment of their customers for the rest of the transaction. There sure isn't anything bogus about the fact that I'm out a $350 key because of where THEY left it which they could have found for me if they'd tried a little harder to meet the customer half way. read more

Eurozone Motors - They threw my key back here, then refused to pull all this hardware apart so I could get my key back! - Auto Repair Near Me - Burbank, California

I tell them to fix the bolt issue with the axle and reconnect my e-brake so I can pick up my car. They call me 3 days later to tell me they took the axle out WITHOUT my consent and they tried to press it out of the wheel hub to rethread it, when you literally didn't need to remove it from the hub to rethread it. I'll attach pictures. Monica then says to me you need to replace the wheel hub, knuckle and axle. I say who's going to cover that since you guys wrecked the bolt, she started claiming there was corrosion on the bolt which is why they couldn't screw the nut back on. There is no corrosion on the bolt, which you will see in the picture, the knuckle has rust but not the axle bolt. So the warranty company doesn't cover corrosion since Monica claimed it to be corroded. I call her back she says she never claimed the bolt to be corroded, but where it gets funny when I ask them to fix what they have broke she claims again that the bolt was corroded, so Monica, the second owner and Ronaldo's wife says all of a sudden you don't want to do the job because warranty doesn't want to pay lol. No Monica I don't want to do the job with you or pay for it because you guys not only stripped my axle bolt but you broke it trying to press it out. So finally I tell them that I will take my car to my mechanic because they have been dishonest and have only shown how bad their customer service is. I end up calling triple a to tow it to my mechanic. I get a call from my mechanic today and he asks me, why did they change the seal? I don't see any leaks? I told him that's what they're claiming. They showed me pictures but those pictures could've been from any car. What I'm trying to say is Ronaldo and Monica are scamming innocent people out of their money and making stuff up. I trust my mechanic, I wish the warranty company worked with his shop. Regardless I hope they lose their licensing as I am almost two weeks out of a car. I will be reporting them to the BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) and I will be seeing them in small claims if they don't pay my current bill with my mechanic. I'm expecting a smart response from either Ronaldo or Monica, but you know what they say there's no reason to get defensive if you're not lying. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! read more

EXTREMELY satisfied with my first visit to Eurozone Motors- I'm pretty anal (can I say that?!) with our European cars, and the purpose of my visit to Ronaldo and his team was to have them give me an honest assessment of an Audi Q7 we were looking at purchasing. I was very impressed with their knowledge of the vehicle, as well as his articulating potential issues we might encounter down the road (Audi has 111k miles on odometer). The Q7 had an issue with the A/C, they addressed and Ronaldo gave me a detailed take as to where he thought the problem(s) likely had occurred. Having an honest, reliable/qualified, independent mechanic for your European car is beyond critical. The cars are enjoyable to drive, but can get expensive to maintain- especially if you're going to the dealer for service. I would not hesitate to recommend the Eurozone Motors team. Warning... Eurozone does not stand behind their work. Water pump / thermostat/ hoses repaired 6/2018. Parts failed coolant leak less than 2 years later and less than 10k miles later. Ronaldo H. says they will NOT honor warranty despite the car only has 8 thousand miles since complete overhaul. Renaldo was extremely rude. I absolutely would not recommend Eurozone. Ronaldo... The website states 2 year 24 thousand mile nationwide warranty. If the work was solid done 6-2018 (less than 2 years) and the car only has a few thousand miles since the service then the work was poorly done. When I inquired about the work.. Ronaldo said I won't argue with you and asked me to leave. They did not try and work with me at all. As rude as can be. In addition I took my car to a far more reputable mechanic that showed me an aftermarket low quality part Erozone used on my r32. The cheap part is the reason for the damage to my car. Once again.. stay far away from Eurozone. They do NOT protect you from their low quality work. A few hours later getting word from my new reputable mechanic that all the hoses need to be replaced and that I see in Eurozone receipts were replaced in 2018. New mechanics states they only used low end replacement no where near factory parts on my car. Thermostat issues as well. Appears all this was serviced at Eurozone 8k miles ago. I'm an engineer, I do most of my own maintenance, but for the heavy lifting / drivetrain I always go to a shop cause I'm not about to buy an engine lift and I'd rather spend that time on netflix anyway. I've been using Eurozone for several years now. When I initially moved to LA, I shopped around for several months and spent time at a lot of mechanics. Most euro-specialized shops are pretty good at what they do, but none are really what I'd call "great"... that is, until I came to Eurozone. Ronaldo is a very technical and honest dude. To be frank, I'm not sure if he's a formally trained engineer, but he could definitely pass as one... but unlike many engineers, he's actually a good communicator. Call ahead or email - these guys are busy because they're in high demand. For good reason. A couple personal anecdotes: 1: I originally took my A4 to Eurozone at 90,000mi to replace my valve cover gaskets, timing belt, and upper/lower control arms. These are standard repairs at this mileage, but they're pricey. Ronaldo did me a solid by bundling it all since he already had the car open (less labor required) and gave it to me for muuuch more reasonable price. How was his work? Excellent. No loose bolts or lugs, clean components properly greased. 2: I've since sold my A4 and come back to the shop to get a Q5 inspected. The price of the inspection was $100 and these dudes looked at everything - they even opened up the turbocharger to check for oil residue inside the housing (a sign the turbo might be on its way out) - this is extremely thorough. They identified a few issues - some critical, some not - which I will be taking back to the dealer to discuss. Point is, Ronaldo and his team are the real deal. If things go right on the dealer side of the Q5, Eurozone will be my go-to for heavy duty maintenance from now on. Anyway. You don't know me, this is just a review online... but I never write reviews on yelp and I just spent 30 minutes writing this thing cause I really like this shop. Everyone knows finding a trustworthy mechanic/auto shop is like finding a unicorn. I found a unicorn. Almost 2 years ago now, I drove my Honda Fit from NYC to LA. Only to realize that driving those tiny things in LA's freeways is like a death wish. So I went to a Carmax and traded my Fit for a Jetta. I figured the car looked pretty decent, not too flashy, not too ugly. Sold! If it isn't obvious, I know next to nothing about cars. So there I was, I just bought a Jetta without realizing that it only came with 1 remote key (really shady) and that smell I keep referring to as a grandpa's musky perfume-- probably mold. BUT-- I did buy into the Maxcare insurance! Fast forward a year and change, car starts acting wonky. So wonky, that I could no longer ignore the fact that there was something wrong. I then looked into using my Maxcare warranty/insurance. First, I called Carmax but they wanted me to wait 2 weeks before I could bring my car in so I passed. Then I called the first shop on my list of Maxcare recommended shops in my area- Eurozone. Monica and Ronaldo are amazing! Monica was so patient and walked me through the entire process. She also arranged for me to get a rental car. Ronaldo assured me that he'll check the car for the symptoms I described and will check for anything else. And that he did. There were multiple issues with my Jetta. The total bill was $2,300+. Luckily my out of pocket is only $450 minus an extra $50 because I brought a toy for their toy drive. Eurozone is so amazing, I'm even considering trading the Jetta for an Audi or BMW at Carmax with Maxcare. Eurozone will make it 100% worth it. And oh, you know the feeling when you overpay for a haircut and the hairdresser tells you they gave you a complimentary shampoo just because they felt like it? Drove out days later with a $2000 bill, engine covers loose, steering wheel crooked, engine mounts replaced(discussed and agreed), and the brakes STILL soft and spongy. Communication was non-existent or inaccurate. Several other major issues but don't want to write a novel. Never using these guys again, ever! read more
