I have Jessica as my hair stylist and she is absolutely the best. She is honest when I ask "Will this look good?" And points me in right directions while still giving me similar to what I had in mind but in a way that suits me best. Jessica is also just the best vibe reader. If you want to gossip and talk? She will gossip and talk. If you want it to be quiet and just read or scroll, she will be mindful to only speak when it's important information and walking through steps of what she is doing for you to be informed. She fluctuates so well and is just a super kind and gentle person. In addition the head massages she gives are amazing. I am autistic and I have sensory issues up the wazoo that I can't have people touch me for long periods of time or even (3 seconds sometimes) like a massage, especially my scalp and you can imagine how tense I am if I never get the kinks and tension massaged out. For some reason, Jessica just does it right. I melt into her hands and she gives perfect pressure, she gets all the good spots, and keeps the water warm (if you like it warm). I also love the eucalyptus or water hot towel that's done at the end, so refreshing. I literally walk out the salon confident, sexy, and in a haze because I'm massage drunk and relaxed. I had a mixed experience here. Booking was super easy and I appreciated all the reminders--it made the process really smooth. The salon itself is beautiful and welcoming. My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. Needed a haircut before my trip and left a message on Yelp on EVOQ's page to "get pricing and availability" late on Labor Day, hoping to get an appointment the following day. Got a text and an email from them around 10am in the morning and I had two choices to choose from. I picked 12 noon with Kristie. The salon is spacious, modern, bright, chic, and clean, with high ceilings. Kristie was great, she listened to my needs and gave me what I wanted efficiently. Before getting my hair cut, my hair was washed and then conditioned with somewhat of a hair mask. Wow! I did not realize this salon was so close to my house. I've been in Vegas 30 years, had a great stylist who moved, and have been driving all across town to find the perfect one. Had my second curly cut with Allison Boyce today and I'm so beyond happy with my hair!! First, I'll start off by saying that as a licensed hairdresser myself, I am VERY picky about my haircuts. I've only been able to find 4 people (including Allison!) in the last 25 years that can cut my hair exactly the way I'd cut it if I were able to have an out of body experience. lol Additionally, as someone that has major trust issues from past haircut traumas, I tend to have a lot of anxiety about getting my haircut. Love is in the hair with Evōq salon! Yesterday was my first visit at Evōq and I came in for a root touch up and hair cut. I had my visit with Olivia who was assisted by Jessica, both ladies were very sweet and had a gentle touch while handling my mane, I have A LOT of hair. When it came to rinsing out the color, Jessica washed my hair. She gave me a scalp massage and topped it all off with a hot towel that smelled like eucalyptus and lavender! What I thought was going to be a relaxing and thoughtful gift for my mom this Christmas was nothing but an uncomfortable and painful appointment. I scheduled an appointment for her at 2:00 pm with Allison Boyce for a "signature cut"which included a haircut as well as a nourishing scalp "massage". It is extremely ironic how this hairstylist has many videos on her page regarding how special it is to wash someone's hair, that it is more than just washing it, she says it is " a moment for the client to breathe to melt into the chair, and to just be". This is the feeling that I wanted my mom to experience. She started off by brushing her dry **curly**hair aggressively and yanking on it without asking if she was tugging too hard. At this point my mom noticed she was losing a lot of hair. When she got moved to the wash bowl the hairstylist was scrubbing her head extremely rough and pulling at her hair. She never asked if the water temperature was ok for her and again if she was being too rough which is a question every hairstylist asks. My mother says this was the most painful part of her experience. Hours later her scalp is still very sore. When it came time to style her hair she was not flexible with styling her with how my mom asked for it. She had originally wanted her part to be on the side but then asked if she could see what it would look like down the middle Allison insisted that it was fine on the side. As well as when it came to the shape my mom wanted a "U" shape and again she said since it had already dried she was going to leave it as a straight line. Throughout the service there was no communication about the products that were being used either. The videos of her preforming this service on others on instagram was false advertisement. We are kind and considerate people we arrived early to her appointment, tipped over 40 percent beforehand and it enrages me that all things considered she still had the audacity to treat my mom like this. My mother could not help but feel like she was discriminated against. I'd really hope you look into this. read more

Alexis has stripped me of my confidence but what's worse is management not offering an apology. It's only gotten worse and I wasn't offered a partial refund, a redo, an apology! NOTHING!!! I'm chemically burned and scarred! I will always suffer with PTSD from this... Update: I don't care how you respond I refuse to read it! Cannot be happier to have found a luxury salon near my neighborhood and leave with a beautiful hair cut! I desperately needed a "self care/me" day and knew I needed a trim badly. I was able to get a same day appointment on a Saturday, with Sarah (so happy I met her). My hair was so dry, straight, and boring. Told her I'm looking for movement, body, life back in lol. She was so nice, knowledgeable, and explained all the products being used on me. She's a specialist in cutting which is great so at least she knew all the hair style trends for us ladies watching HairTok. She recommended a deep conditioning treatment with Keratase products and then trimmed a little on my length, added fame frame layers and curtain bangs. The whole experience from wash, deep conditioning- lasts for 6 hair washes btw ($45 extra), hair cut, blow dry and style (starting $65) was amazing! Wasn't able to get a before photo on my phone but let's just say my hair is feeling brand new, bouncy, shiny, and healthy. I just love it! I'm itching to add hair color soon. When I mentioned that Sarah, another stylist at the same salon, had cut my hair perfectly before, the stylist got visibly frustrated and said, 'Wowww,' then told her colleague, 'We did whatever we can.' When Sarah did my hair, I not only had no complaints about the cut itself, she was also very nice and had excellent customer service. I left unhappy and will need to wait for it to grow out before I can get it corrected elsewhere. Update: I added 2 stars because of Emilie, the business owner. She contacted me over the phone. She was nice and understanding of my situation. I sent her the reference picture I came with and the haircut I've got, she apologized on a behalf of her employees and offered a full refund, including tips.
