This place is so great, I literally never have to worry about who I'm going to get. -pedicures: a lot of different service options! I like the milk and honey the best. And if you upgrade you're guaranteed extra massage which is the #2 reason I'm here. Ask for Cindy! She's the best! They do use the traditional massaging chairs, but a plastic liner is always used so ‍ -manicures: I've always gotten a gel manicure. I get exactly what I ask for. Short squarish nails. NEVER any problems with wavy gel or peeling or flaking, they would probably last 4+ weeks if I had the patience. Bonus: free drink with any service. Don't deny it. Get a mimosa! Or a soda! It is UNFORTUNATE that it comes to this point where we are receiving text messages as far as "Beware of scam" and "WE HAVE NOT CHANGED OUR NAME". My experience at Eva nails has changed and it's professional setting has unfortunately downgraded to the extent where customers have made an appointment, but have to wait for 10 minutes. However, Peter has been nothing but amazing to his clients and has shown professionalism. Other than that, the rest.... No comment. Came here bc we forgot to make an appointment at our usual spot. My mom called to ask how much fills were & we were told $28. Came there & Sandy started on my nails. She then said it'd be $35. I did have one broken nail, but here's how the conversation went: Sandy: It'll be $35 for your nails. Me: We called ahead & were quoted $28? Sandy: Yeah, but you have broken nail. Me: Okay, so it's $7 to fix it? Sandy: It's $5. Me: So, wouldn't it be $33? Sandy: Your nails are long, so you pay more for long nail. Me: Okay.. *looking at my mom for confirmation. Sandy: It'd be $7 more anywhere you go. Me: No it's not. Mom: We're already here, so it's ok. You don't pay more for choosing more than one color? (aka glitter nail[s]) Sandy: No. It's not extra, we'll do for you $30 today, but so next time you know. Maybe 20 minutes later-- Me: I'm going to use this color & this color, but on these nails. Sandy: You see? You want everything but you don't want to pay extra. I'm going to remember you & charge you next time. She said it as a joke, but I already wasn't enjoying my stay there nor her attitude. My nails were cute, the color options were great, atmosphere was good, parking was fine & my nails were done fast.. but if I wanted to hit the person doing my nails the whole time, it's not worth it. Really pleased with my experience at Eva Nails. This was my first visit as I've recently moved to the area. The place is very clean and service was attentive and kind. It wasn't too busy when I came in on Valentine's Day, but that was due to it pouring rain outside. Personally I don't mind the rain so I felt it was a good time to go. I got a gel manicure, black oval natural nails, as well as a specialty pedicure. The one I chose was the Rose one (can't remember full name sorry! But it's the only rose one I believe) and it made my feet and legs very soft. The massage that comes with it was relaxing as well, although they could have applied more pressure - I should have asked. There is a .50 cent charge for using card, and you can't apply tip without letting them know ahead of time. Cash is always better, they do have an ATM as well. This is also posted at the front desk when you enter. Will recommend, and will be a return customer. :) read more

Disappointed. I've gone here for years but the past few times have been not worth the money at all. I went just four days ago and got an acrylic pedicure, already one big toenail has broken off. I went to get it fixed and now it is much shorter than my other big toe. The design was done poorly, and they did not offer to refund me or redo my whole pedicure, which is what they should have done, considering I paid $50 and had to come back in less than a week. Two months ago I got acrylics on my fingers and within a week, two had broken, within two weeks they all broke off. Let me preface this review, I have gone to Eva Nails a handful of times and only once was I completely satisfied with the service I received; but after my last visit I will never step foot into this salon again. I went on Saturday morning for a pedi and fill with gel; the pedi was fine, no issues there. The lady who did my fill should be fired; I told her that the length of my nails were perfect (I needed to fix a chip) and I wanted a color change; not only did she make my nails stubs, she ran the drill so hot over my nails it burned me and she ripped my cuticle on my thumb so badly that I began to bleed, I jumped from the pain, she apologized but she continued to paint my nail mixing my BLOOD INTO THE POLISH POT!!!! I had previously been going to Fashion Nails in Rancho but, due to the RUDE service they provide, I began going to Eva Nails and have never been back. I got my nails done as a full set manicure and they charged me $55 (plus tips). After 3 days, 4 nails broke and when I went back to fix them, their service with me was terrible and their communication was not appropriate for the situation. I've been taking my 103 year old mother to Eva Nails since she moved to San Diego 8 months ago. They do a French manicure for her and she is delighted!!! We are always walk-ins and yesterday we got her manicure immediately. It is such a fun outing for us and the employees are great! I brought my little sister in for a fill. Nothing was wrong with her nails at all. She was forced by the lady she was sitting with to take off her acrylics and get a whole new set. Mind you nothing was wrong with them they had been on for barley 3 weeks. I recently got my nails done here and they were horrible. To start off I made an appointment, as I was getting my nails done, I overheard another employee offer a customer soda,water, or wine to the customer. I wasn't offered anything. I asked for a french tip and the guy doing my nails was so sloppy, he used white nail polish and all of my nails were painted uneven. When I was getting my pedicure I asked if someone could fix my nails and the manager went over and said the same guy would fix my nails. After my pedicure the guy "fixed" my nails and I was still unhappy. The manager didn't make sure I was happy before leaving so I will NOT be back. 1. They're very pricey 2. If paying with debit they have you pull cash out from their ATM, (they payed for the ATM fee) the first time I went I didn't have to do this. 3. They all speak Vietnamese amongst each other and it's obviously they're talking about you. Laughing, staring at you and anything little thing you or any other customer says they come running to see what you're talking about. It's very uncomfortable. 4. The owner said they do chrome nails and it's obvious they're not experienced doing it, see picture. It's no wonder why a third of their staff left recently. I'm not going back. I'll be looking for the new place Lynn opened up and taking this "chrome" color off. :( ***not even 24 hours later and the "chrome" aka glitter is peeling!! GRRRR TWO days later and my nails look horrible!! I'm actually pretty upset! This was a total ripoff!! Wow. Where do I even begin?! First off, the technician (a larger woman, don't get her whatever you do) who was behind my lady, was blatantly picking her nose and tossing her boogers on the ground next to her. If I wasn't halfway started on my nails, I would have walked out from pure disgust. Ok next, I got a gel fill (acrylic powder as the base then gel polish on top). The shape was wonderful, color was ok (wish there had been more to choose from). Donna who was my technician was very nice though. Ok, so I had also paid for two 3D nail art bows to be put on my nails after. The bows fell off one and two days later due to the fact they were put on with nail glue NOT with clear GEL! $6 down the drain. SO the final straw was today June 2, 2014 (3 days shy of a month that I was there) my right hand thumb nail popped off. HALF of my nail, to my surprise, is covered in a disgusting shade of yellow/green. I immediately get a hold of a friend who does nails in Big Bear to ask her what is wrong. I send her pictures, and in her 5 year PROFESSIONAL opinion as a certified nail technician and salon owner, she tells me I now have WATER MOLD under my nail. I soak all of my nails in acetone and discover that FOUR MORE of my nails are the same! From what I understand, this was caused by a break of some kind in my nails and water seeped in under the acrylic and festered there. I now need to do a hydrogen peroxide soak every day until it goes away, PLUS a fungal treatment TWICE a day. NEVER in the 8+ years that I have gotten my nails done, has this happened. I am appalled that this is on my fingers, and livid the nail techs don't know what the F they are doing. read more
