About five months later, while driving on the freeway in the Texas heat with my toddler in the car, my check engine light came on. I immediately pulled over somewhere safe and had my car towed to a Honda dealership. Honda determined that my oil drain plug had fallen out, causing the engine to become starved of oil and resulting in engine damage. They immediately advised me to contact the facility that had performed my last oil change as this error is predominantly an installation error. I contacted Jiffy Lube, but after conducting their own investigation, they determined they were not responsible and instead pointed fingers at the Honda dealership for not catching the issue when I brought my car there in June for an A/C repair. That visit had absolutely nothing to do with an oil change or my oil drain plug, and I had no reason to have any concerns about my oil at that time. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I trusted Jiffy Lube to properly service my vehicle, and now it's not longer drivable. Rather than taking accountability or seriously addressing the possibility that the plug was not properly installed or secured, the responsibility was shifted to another business for an unrelated service. I have to pay over 10k in repairs for a 2018 car that's I've had for only 2 years that I drive minimally. This was not only an expensive situation, but a disheartening one. I expected better quality and accountability from Jiffy Lube, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

He would not take charges off and said I would have to bring it back for the service. So he basically charged my company for services not rendered. Then today a dispute over me retrieving my insurance card out of my vehicle. In the end he said, "Go F*** yourself!" He did this in front of Aaron, another employee. I take three to four vehicles a month to this location, and have been for several years. I will not utilize JIFFY LUBE again until he is gone. And I need a refund to my company for work he charged me for and did not complete.

I am describing what happened to me and what was physically found on my car. I absolutely do not recommend Alta Mere Auto Care based on my experience with my 2017 Ford Fusion Sport. I originally brought the car in for catalytic converter replacement. After the replacement, it developed new check-engine codes that were not present before. I returned more than six times trying to get the issue corrected. During those visits, multiple damaged or disconnected components were found. I was then told that replacing a $475 turbo diverter valve would fix the problem. I authorized it, but the same engine codes remained. After taking the car to another mechanic, we documented additional issues: broken hoses and clamps, an unplugged turbo-intake connection, pinched wiring near the vacuum-control system, and a molded plastic intake connection that had been broken and JB welded back together instead of properly replaced. That 'repair' has now completely failed. I was never told that component had been broken or repaired this way. I am including photos. Separately, I was charged approximately $1,800 for an RDU/rear differential part even though I went to the shop in person and cancelled the repair before installation. I was then going to be charged a restocking fee, so I ended up purchasing the part from them. My current mechanic and I later went to the shop in person to show the owner what had been found. When asked about fixing the parts that had been broken, we were told: "Oh, it'll be on us, of course." After my mechanic posted a review detailing the damaged and disconnected components he personally found on my car, along with how Bradley handled being confronted about those findings, Bradley Osborne called me and banned me from the shop. During that call, he began saying he would've fixed my RDU for free and even replaced the turbo if it turned out to be bad. None of that was offered when I was standing there in person asking them to make things right. Bringing up everything he "would've" done only while banning me came across as backpedaling, not a genuine attempt to resolve the situation. Being banned after being told the damaged parts would be "on us" felt to me like a way to avoid dealing with the problems rather than resolving them. From one serviceman to another, I am disappointed in the lack of integrity and accountability I experienced from Bradley Osborne and this shop. My issue is not simply one incorrect diagnosis. It is months of return visits, money spent on repairs that did not solve the problem, damaged and disconnected components discovered afterward, and the way the situation was handled once another mechanic documented the condition of the vehicle. I cannot recommend this shop. The attached photos show only some of what was found, and at this point I have no way of knowing whether there are additional problems that have not yet been discovered.

Let's just say there were some things that happened to my car that were not happening before I pulled into the car lot. They obviously did something to cause something wrong but immediately when I told the guy it wasn't doing that before I got here.. he said OK will look at it and will fix the problem. He said if we did something they would get fixed. Everything worked out so I am a happy customer. I did have to come back a couple days later to actually get my inspection done on my car. I had two tires put on that I brought to them and air pressure was wrong so again I had to come back for that as well... But for some reason I will still say I like this place they may need to get some guys with a little more experience in the shop but they are quick to fix a mistake and very kind about it. Not to mention the guy in the front (I should have gotten his name) was very nice and friendly and had all the laughs. I will go back to this place to have my other tire put on as well... Maybe even the inspection.

When I got the car back and started to drive off I noticed the mats had not been washed-which I paid extra for, there was debris under them, there were drips all down the rear window, the inside was haphazardly wiped down, and the back had not been vacuumed, which I also paid extra for. I should have gone back and complained but I was short on time. The cost: $38.99. I will be looking for another place.
