BEWARE! If you use this establishment for any type of service, DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE IN YOUR CAR! My daughter went with a friend to get her oil changed on June 5th. Right before going there they stopped for lunch and paid for lunch with cash. She had more cash than she would normally carry because she was going on a trip with a ministry she is involved with. She knew exactly how much was in her wallet. Her wallet apparently came out of her purse and was in the passenger floorboard and she didn't realize it until she got to the next stop after Kwik Kar. She retrieved it from the floorboard and headed in the store where she went to pay for something and nearly $300 was missing. The only time the wallet was unaccounted for was at Kwik Kar. She immediately went up there to ask if they "found" the money and was met by the manager Andrew who said he would go ask. She peered around the corner to see what was happening and he was laughing with the workers he was supposed to be checking with. I feel certain they saw two 20 year old girls and thought they could get away with it. I went up the next morning and was assured the owner would be in contact with me and would get video to me but was out of town. I called to follow up several times, but was told again the owner was out of town. The owner still has not reached out to make this right nearly a month later. The video was finally sent by Andrew but you can't see what goes on in the car, but an employee was in the passenger seat for a few minutes. This establishment is shady and they are thieves or they employ thieves. Either way I was heartbroken for my college age daughter who had been saving for this trip. read more

Went in for an oil change, They didn't replace the plug correctly, oil leaked out, my engine stopped the next day. I called and they had my car towed into their shop. The towing company they hired dragged my front bumper causing substantial damage. The owner Matt Slaughter refuses to pay for any repairs to my car and has accused me of trying to pull a scam. My wife brought her car here for an oil change. They got grease and oil stains on the passenger seat and glove box while trying to get the in cabin air filter out. I brought the car back and they said they would make it right, they got the stain out in 5 minutes but using carburetor cleaner as now it smells like carburetor cleaner inside the car. So not only will they look around at all your stuff when you just ask for an oil change, but they'll also lie to you and try and up-charge you as well. Absolutely terrible service. Someone came up, no MASK! I rolled my window down less than half an inch and asked if they had a mask. They said no. I then called the store, and asked to speak with the manager who then informed me the employees could chose to wear a mask or not if they wanted to. Was exceedingly rude. Needless to say I did not roll down my window more or have my car taken care of here. City mandates for masks in our city have been extended through March. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I strongly recommend you stay away from this shop! I have been loyal to this location for 20 years and was happen to see it open back up. I took my car with 48,000 miles for an oil change in February and was told I needed a power steering flush, as well as a brake flush and full brake replacement. They insisted that these things were supposed to be done every 10,000 miles and warned me that I was severely overdue and I would be paying much more for repairs if I didn't have these things done immediately. I refused the service knowing something was questionable about their recommendation. My air filter was crumbling but they never asked about replacing it so I did it later myself. After I paid $75 for a full synthetic oil change, they told me I could have paid $50 had I checked groupon first. It felt like a slap in the face to tell me they would have cut a third off the price had I only shopped around first. Why not give a fair price to begin with? I went checked my owner's manual and had the family mechanic take a look at my car. The manufacturer recommends the services at 90,000 miles, not every 10,000 and the mechanic said there was no outstanding issue with my vehicle. I contacted Kwik Kar Corporate and received a call from the District Manager the next day who was very understanding and apologetic. He told me he would put a gift certificate in the cash register for a free oil change and stressed how much he wanted to keep my business, especially after learning that I need an oil change every other month due to my lengthy commute. I did not return to this location until June 22 but when I inquired about my gift certificate was told that the district manager was no longer there and they refused to honor the arrangement. When I said I would never come back I was told "That's fine, just go somewhere else" in a tone that sounded like I was cheating them in some way. It's fine, I will go somewhere else and will do my best to make sure everyone else knows this place is full of scammers and thieves. Stay away! I will change my oil myself in my driveway before I ever spend another dollar at this location. read more

Took my truck here for a state inspection. The guy told me that my front brakes only had 10% left and my rear brakes only 15%. Really? The only way you can check the brake wear is to put it on a lift and/or pull the wheel off. He did neither of these. I have my truck serviced at the dealership and they check the brakes. And last oil change they told me they were fine. He also said my wiper blades needed replacing. Really? I just replaced them a month ago. I asked him to demonstrate that they were bad. When he sprayed the windshield with water it took the wipers one pass to clean it. I would avoid this place since this particular person was trying to do additional maintenance work on my truck that didn't need doing! read more

BEWARE.....They get 1 star ONLY because you have to check at least 1 star to leave a review, my daughter took my Jeep in to have the A/C checked blowing hot air, the "manager" checked it and said it needed a new A/C compressor, and it would cost $600, and he could fix it then within 2 hours, she said she would have to talk to me first so he said to bring it back the next day and he would fix it for her.... I usually have to add a can of freon every summer because I have a small leak, so I told her to get a second opinion the other place took 5 minutes to look at it and said the compressor was fine, I went and paid $25 for a can of freon put it in myself and my Jeep is blowing cold air...beware I could have paid $600 for a can of freon at that place because that was all my Jeep needed to fix it, always go get a second opinion, if your not sure you are getting treated honestly, they see women pull up and think we are stupid, it's a shame we can't trust people anymore, I didn't have $600 to give away!!! read more

This has recently reopened. They have several levels of cleaning so I opted for the Super Wash for $39.99. It took them a while to get the car finished but I am very pleased with the quality of cleaning. The reason it took longer than other car washes is that they are being very attentive to the details. Brought my car for an oil change and tire rotation and they recommended I do a brake flush and get new brake pads, front and back. Paid over $500 when it was all said and done. Within a day I was hearing squealing and grinding. They put the rear driver side pad on backwards!!! I took it to my regular mechanic and they also revealed that the brake flush had never been performed!! The exact same "floating" stuff Kwik Kar showed me to convince to get a brake flush can still be seen when looking at the fluid! Customer service seemed nice enough and I was looking forward to having a new, cheaper place to have my oil changed. Nope. Never returning to this horrible car service. Anywhere, ever. read more
