    Gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce

Have been here four times now. Food is always delicious. The scallops, shrimp over homemade pappardelle pasta in a lobster cream sauce is AMAZING!!!!!!! Very good service. Haven't seen a bad choice by anyone I dined with during those visits.

Delicious food and great service. Homemade pasta was wonderful! We will definitely be back soon.

We had an amazing dinner tonight! Our service was excellent. Great ambiance. The chicken parm and meatballs were delicious. The pasta was made to perfection. The entrees came with bread and a fantastic garden salad with homemade dressing. To end the night we got homemade tiramisu which was hard to choose with all the amazing dessert options. Highly recommend and will be back! Tyler was our server and he was excellent!

After reading the one and five star reviews I wasn't sure how my meal would turn out here. Thankfully better than expected. There is a lovely outside patio but we're inside people. The dining room was comfortable but a bit dated. White tablecloths! So old fashioned. The ultimate sign of hospitality and sophistication. It's a sign of caring that so many have forgotten or cost cut. Service was good in a no nonsense diner style where regulars are family. Water and bread were delivered with butter. Olive oil cruet is on the table. I started with the arugala salad. The greens were fresh and crisp with fresh mozzarella, cherry tomato halves (love that detail) balsamic vinaigrette. Partner had pasta fagiola and loved it. For dinner I had an app shrimp and mushrooms. It was more than enough and very good. I even took half of it home. Partner opted for tortellini. Loved it. Said pasta was perfect. We were so contented we didn't even listen to the dessert list. Next time...

My boyfriend and I wanted a date night locally, and thanks to previous Yelp reviews, this place seemed like a winner so we gave it a try. We made reservations at 5PM, when it opened, for a 7:30pm dinner, no problem. When we arrived, the hostess stand was in the dining room, and we were awkwardly waiting in the door entrance by the restrooms. I did see signs for construction and I'm hoping that was just a temporary set up, because it was awkward lingering there. We were seated right at 7:30 when our reservation began. We were brought bread and butter. We placed our order... and didn't receive it for another hour. There was a large party seated next to us, which may have been the issue, but it was a lot longer than I would typically like to wait for a meal. Regardless of the wait time, the food was PHENOMENAL. I had the Pollo Verde which consisted of chicken topped with prosciutto, melted fontina cheese and spinach, with a side of fettuccine. Truly a delectable, memorable meal. My boyfriend had the veal saltimbocca and was equally as impressed with his meal. This is a great setting for a cute date night at an authentic Italian restaurant, romantically lit with candlelight.

We were there on a Saturday early afternoon and it was crowded which I expected. We walked into the bakery end which has some tables and chairs and tons of baked goods to enjoy there or to go. There is a dining room in the middle of the bakery and pizzeria. After walking through that room we were where we wanted to be. There were some tables and chairs in the pizzeria which was good and we grabbed the last available table. You order at the counter. We knew we wanted to cheesesteak Detroit style pizza. Tons of seating in the back, prompt service from what seems like high schoolers and college students on their break. The walls are absolutely maxed out with photos of various news, sports, and other cultural icons. We had one of the Detroit-style pizzas and a salad. Pizza was solid-- don't think I'd have this every day for fear of a severe downturn in my health, but when it comes to game days or just a dinner with the guys, I'd totally make my way over here if I could (I can't but I wish I could). Ordering happens from the counter. Food comes out pretty promptly. Staff are friendly, even letting us stay a bit longer past the closure of the main dining area so we could finish up. Overall-- stop by for a unique experience here in PA.

We've been coming to this location for thirty years with a couple of different restaurants. Sometimes good, others disappointing. Tonight was a home run. LOVED the Dulce zucchini salad. The homemade panko coated ribbons of fresh zucchini were hot crisp and well seasoned as were the 5 large grilled shrimp. The pears were cut carefully into crescents and grilled. Not canned. No sitting in the fridge. FRESH! All this on a bed of fresh arugula. A little too heavy on the dressing for me, but is generosity a sin? A scattering of caramelized onions and shaved Parmesan and there is my new favorite salad. EXCEPT there are a few more to try, like tonight's specials one with peach and burrata and another with blueberries. BTW I like bread with my salad and lately that's been hard to come by. Here they offer garlic bread to accompany your salad for $1.50. SOLD. Partner had the chicken Alfredo. That's his jawn. Tasted good to me cause it had enough garlic . Service was good. Bill was $60 and we took a cheesesteak pizza home .
