My family got 2 pizzas last night for dinner! I will give it an4 because my family loves it but I'm not a huge fan. I only like going because it's close to our house. It is unfortunate luck that we just can't have a good experience here. I don't recall if we've ever had an order completely correct. The pizza is fine but there is always something missing such as the cheese sauce that your order with the bread sticks. Tonight, we were told 45 minutes for a delivery. An hour later we called to get an update and were told the driver would leave in another 10 or so. For us, this was the last time. The pizza is good but the service, or lack of it, is what kills it. I've ordered from here several times now and ate dine-in once. The food is great, however, the customer service could be better. On several occasions I was unable to contact the business. It's possible they need a multiple phoneline phone. The time I dined in the service wasn't that great. They place wasn't busy and our waitress only checked on us once through the meal. At one point, we went to get our own refills. No big deal, but not definitely not normal table service. Also, I was told by an employee that they only deliver after 4 pm within a 5 mile radius. If you order delivery, just know it will probably take an hour to receive your pizza. Still worth they wait on nights I have a craving for una pizza. read more

For a small place in what seems like the middle of nowhere the food was great. I had the Stromboli, added mushrooms and banana peppers. It was cooked to perfection, good sauce and toppings. A great strom all around. Also had the breadsticks and cheese. I love dipping cheese and am always looking for the best. I'd say it was a 7.5 out of 10 (that's a good score from me for cheese sauce), good flavor and consistency with a small spice. It was cold which I didn't mind but it may have been a little better if was warmed up slightly. The breadsticks themselves were good too. I just wanted to like this place so much. It is very close to my house, I pass it on my way home. and it serves pizza. However, after multiple times of eating here the food leaves me wanting more. The strom is bland in flavor and the times I got it, it was lacking in meat. The pizza was nothing impressive. I do not like the sauce, but they like to pour it on. The pizza could use more toppings and more cheese. If they just added some spices to the sauce it would make a world of difference. On a good note, the service has always been good. I dont give bad reviews unless deserved and I have given this place plenty of chances. I just wish I had better experiences here. read more

Pricey! Worst pizza I ever had. I ordered the vegetarian with extra mushroom. The mushrooms were chewy they were real small pieces. The Pizza was loaded with green AND black olives you couldn't take one bite without it being loaded with olives. So you couldn't even taste the mushrooms. Scratch this one off my list read more

Our family absolutely loves the Twisted Tomato whether we are dining in or taking Pizza home. The food is amazing. They have excellent sandwiches and several great speciality pizzas like the taco pizza. The owners are very friendly. They have a nice salad bar. The overall atmosphere and decorations are warm and inviting. We take most of our out of town company there and they always ask to go back. I have mixed feelings after my first order from Twisted Tomato. The breadsticks and cheese were phenomenal. Probably the best in the city that I have had so far. The pizza however was mediocre. I had the house speciality pizza. The crust and sauce were good. the toppings were not. Mushrooms from a can, sausage was bland. The pizza overall was bland. Not what I was expecting for the price. I will definitely get breadsticks again and maybe try something else with it. Hope to update this review with a better score in the future. I will give it another try. read more

Good and fast. Ordered take-out and it was ready a few minutes early. The wicked Stromboli really is spicy, but it's also delicious. I like the pizza, husband says it's too hard to bite through but I thought it had the right amount of crispiness. Sauce is a tiny bit sweet for me, but that was my only complaint. We found this place after a long day of travel softball on some fields nearby. My daughter wanted something tasting and filling and so did I. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and my daughter got the chicken bacon melt. We both also visited the salad bar. We were very pleased with our meal and the staff was very friendly and attentive. A few friends and myself ate here. The service was good, but the food was mediocre at best. Was really disappointed in the taste and quality of the food so were my friends. There wasn't one parmesan cheese dispenser anywhere in sight in a pizza place mind you. Then when we managed to find one, a few tables over the cheese was molded.
