I visited here for a dental cleaning. Dr. Eda is very professional and friendly. The front desk Gaby is so helpful and Dr. Eda's assistant Yolanda is also very professional. Dr.Eda and Yolanda are very careful with their work. I was so relaxed during the procedure which is so unusual. I hate going to the dentist but not here. I have known Gabi for years. She is always helpful. I used my insurance for this cleaning. Without an insurance, the teeth cleaning is $95. It took about an hour. It worth to visit them even without an insurance. So I was very thrilled when I learned she opened her own practice and immediately switched my dentist office. I love this dental office and Dr. Reder! Before Dr. Reder I had not been to the dentist in about 8 years. I'm completely terrified of the dentist. I suffer from great anxiety. The type of anxiety that makes you sweat and feet start to shake. Well, I was highly referred to Dr. Reder from a friend who works in the dental field. I could not be more grateful with the recommendation. Dr. Reder is very attentive, patient, compassionate, and extremely professional. I explained to her my anxiety issues and she listened to me with great detail. I can definitely advise that sitting at her office chair feels like being in bed. Lol. I never feel any pain and every time she is doing something she lets me know what's going on. She has great communication skills. I love her and this office! I don't see myself going anywhere else. I'm sticking to this office until she decides to retire. I chose Dr Reder last year as my first dentist in my adult life. Long story short I have bad teeth due to poor parenting, low income, and genetics, but I'm finally at a financial place to take care of them myself. Yay me! I chose Dr Reder off recommendation from my healthcare provider and yelp reviews. I did my x-rays with her nurses who were very nice, then met her. She was pissed. She was huffing and puffing and rubbing her forehead. I thought maybe she was mad at the nurses but when she started talking I think she was PO at me*. She was speaking to me very low and slow, which was just flat out condescending. She kept insisting that I drank a lot of soda, but I don't. I'm vegan. I must have told her my life story 3 times but she would not believe me and kept trying to convince me that I drink a lot of soda. Eventually I just said OK because she made me feel small and I just wanted to get out of there. She told me the work I needed in that low disappointing voice then she literally stepped out to get a grip. Never said goodbye. This is when I felt terrible for making her so upset. IMO the work I needed was not that bad. Certainly not Kentuckian Mountain Dew bad. How even dare she! I understand this woman is passionate about dental hygiene but my god, no need to make others feel like crap about it. This experience was my worst possible nightmare. I was already sooo nervous going in and when I left I cried in my car. *note: based on another reviewer, she could have been pissed at the nurses for some x-ray issues. but definitely took it out on me. read more

So after calling a bunch of dentists that I had found on yelp with good and lots of reviews trying to get an appointment for later on that day and none being available I called Dr. Reder and got an appointment for later on that same day. The office is located on inglewood and braddock where the Subway is. So I show up bout 20 minutes early for my 4 pm appointment and I fill out the usual new patient paperwork. I thought I was just here for a cleaning but the receptionist tells me I need xrays because they need to know if I have cavities. I went ahead with the xrays although I didn't really want to. X-rays went smoothly and I was then put in another room (see picture) to wait. When Dr. Reder arrives (pretty lady) she looks at the x rays and tells me everything looks good she sees one tiny cavity but nothing needs to be done to it. Who would've guessed my fucked up teeth and I who never visit the dentist were in good shape. I also thought crap I just spent unnecessary money on xrays LOL oh well. Next up was the cleaning, I don't know how long these things are supposed to last but I felt it was rather quick. I felt no discomfort or anything during the cleaning so it all went pretty good imo. I would definitely come here again. The cleaning was 85 bux plus 45 for the xrays. read more

My dentist I've used for 20 years is now far away making a 1/2 day trip required for a simple cleaning. So I decided to visit Dr. Reder because of the strong family referral and my close proximity of her office. The office is cool, clean and comfortable. They seem to have the newest technology, allowing you to watch on large monitors anything you want to see about your teeth. Dr. Reder took time to answer all my questions and was not only attentive to me, but showed an unusual (and refreshing) concern about my comfort. My visit was to replace a mercury filling-replacement had had caused hyper-sensitivity to cold. Dr. Reder apologized the moment she had to administer the anesthesia (which didn't hurt at all) and, although I was prepared for her to start shortly after the numbness set in, she insisted on waiting a bit longer to make sure that my experience was comfortable and that I would feel nothing. I hope to visit Dr. Reder as infrequently as possible, but when I do need to visit her, I know the experience will be comfortable. Go see if I'm right. You're welcome. read more

Hidden gem in Culver City! I'm very picky about who works on my teeth & my family is very fortunate to find Dr. Reder's office. Had a crown worked on recently.... she felt confortable that we could avoid a root canal......& she was right!!! Been going there for a couple years now. Don't be mistaken by the outside. Conveniently located in shopping center (Inglewood / Braddock) ..... you'll be surprised when you walk in. The office is very nice & appears to have all the latest dental devices. The office manager here (Vicky) is wonderful. Billing is always correct & they treat me like a valued customer. My last dentist (Culver Del Rey) , the front office girls were brutal. This is a great family Dental office. My friend recommended Dr. Teresa's dental practice about 6 yrs ago and my whole family has been going to her(even my extended family). This is a very welcoming office; everyone is very nice and friendly. The office was remodeled about a year ago and it is very modern and updated. Dr. Teresa is very knowledgeable in her field, patient and is very gentile (which is perfect for my 10 year old). My daughter used to be terrified of dentists but Dr Teresa was very comforting and had a warm motherly thing about her that my daughter allowed her to treat her without putting up a fight. My daughter always looks forward to her twice a year cleanings now because Dr. Teresa always has a reward for her at the end of the session. While I have taken my son to Dr. Gonzalez-Reder for about 2 years, I only recently went as a patient myself. I hadn't been to the dentist in some time and was expecting the worst. Well, I did have several issues, but the staff was not pushy and gave me a full list of what needed to be done along with prices. (Since I don't have dental insurance, this was very helpful.) I got about half the work done on the same day and was not pushed to do anymore than I wanted. The doctor was very gentle and did not have a conversation with her assistant as she worked on me. (I have had dentists do that and it is really an annoyance to me!) She asked her office person to turn up the music, went to work and told me if I wanted her to stop at anytime to raise my left hand. (No dentist has ever been so considerate when do work before!) She still checked in on me as I the procedures took about 1.5 hrs. to ask if I needed a break and check on my comfort. Additionally, she's having her office remodeled! It looks great! I've recommended her to a few friends already! read more

I'll be the first to admit I'm a giant wuss when it comes to dealing with dental pain. And so while the pain was to be expected, I know a "pain considerate" dentist when I get one. Unfortunately, Dr. Reder is not that dentist. After my body convulsed in pain from her flossing the teeth in between my permanent top retainer (first dentist to do this, others usually use tools) she simply told me I needed to floss more. I was about to punch her in the ovaries. Fortunately, I did not and simply told myself I'm not letting this lady work on my cavities. I don't need warm hugs under a rainbow and and a lollipop when I'm getting my teeth cleaned, but a little bit of actual care is expected. read more

Dr Reder is the best! I had a lifelong family dentis. She suddenly died of cancer. I was very scared of the thought that I had to find a new dentist. I was told about Teresa through friends of mine at my work. Well I couldn't be any more happy then I am! In fact I even bring my kids to her and they love her and her office staff! My whole family got their semi-annual teeth cleaning done here recently. The staff was very professional and thorough. My 2 kids didn't complain at all during the teeth cleaning which is quite unusual for them when we went to other dentists. I also wanted to note that my previous dentist had recommended about $2000 worth of dental work on my teeth based on digital x-rays. That was very strange given that 6 months before that at my cleaning I had been told I had very good teeth. I was very surprised when Dr. Reder told me that the recommended treatments by the previous dentist were a little "aggressive" and not necessary.
