Friendly staff however they have long wait times even with an appointment. If you have an appointment later on in the day, good luck since they don't follow times. I didn't even see the dentist on my last check up - her assistants just cleaned my teeth. I don't even think they did a good job. I also specifically went in for a deep clean and for a filling, but since I did not get to see the dentist, I had to skip the filling. The cherry on top was they no longer validate parking anymore. So after it felt like a waste of time not seeing the doctor, I also had to pay for parking. read more

Good morning, I'm a first time patient and the experience I've had was amazing. Alex was the best assistant and she was really detailed on every step of the process. Ramina explained the pros and cons of my temporary tooth and was very detailed on the procedure that was going to happen. I experienced excruciating tooth pain at the worst possible time: Friday evening at 7 pm! In desperation, my husband scoured Yelp for a nearby dentist who might be able to see me. Dr. Sarmicanic was the only one who answered the phone! Rather than saying "sorry, we're closing," she immediately found a solution by prescribing antibiotics and painkillers to get me through the night and squeezed me in first thing in the morning. Dr Ramina is FABULOUS! (and I'm not related to her... not a friend... I am a first time visitor to her dental office writing this to you... And a big SHOUT OUT to 'Alex' who scheduled the appointment and explained the costs to me after the appointment.) Let me explain my complicated dental situation ... I've put off doing a lot of dental work. First... covid had us all in lockdowns. Next, because of covid -- my sales job 'disappeared' because I was doing presentations in front of large audiences. Then, I broke a front tooth (composite bonding) by biting into a hidden chicken bone ... YIKES! Well... all of my upper teeth have composite bondings ... and since the front tooth bonding broke, I decided it was time to do a "smile makeover." If you live in the greater Los Angeles area then you know there are NINE MILLION dentists to choose from! And I think I have interviewed about half of them (LOL) by the time I met with Dr Ramina for her generous, free consultation. And I was glad that she was in Culver City which is less than 30 minutes from me. (Knowing what I know now after my appointment ... I'd drive TWO hours, each way, to see her!) Hands down... my consultation with Dr. Ramina was the BEST over any other dentist. How about starting with the 'length' of the consult? ONE HOUR! Amazing. Most other dentists I visited (and my dental work is upwards of $15,000!) - gave me maybe 15 or 20 minutes. Dr. Ramina treated me as if I were 'family.' She was thorough and meticulous in her examination. She took photos of the problems areas of my teeth (soooo many! boo hoo ...) And explained everything to me in plain English. But of course, I knew in advance that I had mouthful of problems and that I'd need to get '9' new crowns or veneers. She gave me her very honest and sincere opinion (backed up by photos I could see with my own eyes) ... and various treatment options. She never rushed. No hurry. No pressure to 'buy now.' And I asked a TON of questions and she very patiently answered each one. Prior to my appointment I checked out her YELP reviews and every single one was '5 stars'! You can't beat 100% HAPPINESS from other patients, right? So then I visited her website... Yeah yeah yeah. I know what you're thinking ... So what? All dentists have websites .... Well let me tell ya that of the two dozen or so dentists who are certified in "cosmetic surgery" that I checked out ... I visited their websites and most did not have a "SMILE GALLERY." HUH? How can a dentist promote himself/herself as a "cosmetic dental specialist" without showing successful 'BEFORE/AFTER' photos??? I even stepped into her office. So as I mentioned, I broke a front tooth (composite bonding) by biting into a hidden chicken bone ... YIKES! Previously I had re-bonded that broken tooth (with another dentist) -- 3 times. And 3 times that bonding did not last. Dr. Ramina showed me with the photos she took that any attempt by her to re-bond the tooth would also end in failure because of my "bite." And I agreed with her and I wondered why (to myself) the last dentist didn't educate me that a bonding was not going to work for this particular tooth (maybe he just saw me as "cha-ching $$$ cash register"?). Any-hoo ... back to my office visit. Did I mention that out of the many, many dental offices that I have checked out that Dr. Ramina's office has the nicest decor? ... The most modern equipment? ... and ... Looking out the window from the 2nd floor you see the most amazing view of Los Angeles ... Not bad, huh? The location is very nice, all the equipment is from the 21st century, Dr Ramina and her staff are very friendly, the numbing process has always been very difficult for me when visiting the dentist, that wasn't the case with her, she's excellent at it.
