Super cute hotel. I am an IHG member so this was right up my alley to be in a hotel that I can navigate pretty well. I arrived at noon, but could not check in until 4 PM, so I went and did taste of Seattle, which I recommend. I then Checked into my room and found everything as it should be with the exception of the TV. It was nice and clean, pictures will be uploaded. I love that there's a personal gym in my room so I don't necessarily have to go anywhere. The TV after about 20 minutes of trying to get the TV to connect I realized that the TV could be moved from the wall since it's mounted on the wall and that's where I located the HDMI cord had been Unplugged. I plugged in the HDMI cord in the TV works fine. I received a text message that welcome me to IHG hotel, I should've clicked on the link, which would have let me know where to go for ice. I ended up going down to the bottom floor after not finding ice on the third floor. Just a heads up there's no ice machine on the third floor, the ice machines are on even numbered floors and it is hard to access a floor if your key card is not programmed for that floor. So something I don't think was well thought out, I was able to gain access to the fourth floor, where I was able to locate the ice machine. This was a 4 star until the next paragraph. I have nothing but good things to say about the shower and the water pressure and having enough hot water. I like the small ice that comes out of the ice machine, with the ice machine at least on the fourth floor you can get just ice or ice and water or water. On night, two of my trip at 9:40 PM PST I received a call from the desk where the lady apologized about not having my card don't fall for incidentals. The previous evening when I checked in, I offered the card. The lady went and got my bag that she was holding for me since I arrived before check-in and I continue to stand there. She said I was good to go and I reminded her she did not take my card for incidentals. She looked at the computer to confirm everything look good and said no you're fine. So imagine my surprise or annoyance when I receive a call at 9:40 PM About putting a card on file for incidentals. The next morning when I got up is when I took them my card for incidentals. I came back to my hotel and noticed my temperature had turned up to 72 degrees, but nothing in my room was touched. I still had towels to use, so it wasn't a big deal. There's plenty of seating downstairs if you're having breakfast, you can order breakfast and charge it to the room. They have a menu that has something for everyone, you can even ask for your breakfast to be prepared to go. On Wednesday and Thursday nights, music is played Downstairs. I enjoyed breakfast four days in a row. I ordered the same meal each day. I ordered a Belgian waffle, one scrambled egg and an Apple or orange juice. The Belgian waffle came with strawberries and blueberries and mandarin oranges. There was an orange syrup on the side and a dollop of yogurt on the waffle. Each day the amount of syrup differed. One day I had enough, another too much and the last day not enough. My room wasn't cleaned one time I was there. I thought it was odd for a four night trip but maybe hospitality has changed. If work puts me here again I'll know what to expect. It was not the best stay I've ever had.

Check-In: June 22, 2025 Check-out: June 23, 2025 Room: 520 (2 queen beds) ## The Good **Early Check-In Success:** Was able to check in at 12:30 PM without issues, which was appreciated for an early arrival. **Unique Room Amenities:** As my first stay at an Even Hotel, I was impressed by the in-room exercise equipment - apparently this is standard across all Even Hotel properties. This is a fantastic differentiator for health-conscious travelers. **Room Quality:** Room 520 was well-appointed with two queen beds and a clean, modern design. The bathroom featured a stand-up shower (no bathtub), which worked fine for our needs though families with young children might prefer a tub option. **Helpful Front Desk (Day 1):** The front desk employee on check-in day was extremely helpful, waiving the $45/day parking fee since we were returning our rental car the same evening. This kind of flexibility and customer service was much appreciated. ## The Not-So-Good **Shuttle Service Disappointment:** We signed up for the cruise port shuttle service ($12/person to the ports), but the execution was poor. On June 23, we waited in the Staybridge Suites lobby (the attached sister property) with no clear direction or communication about the shuttle. After waiting with no shuttle in sight, we had to take a Lyft to Pier 91 to avoid being late for our cruise check-in. **Inconsistent Staff Knowledge:** The front desk employee on June 23 seemed overwhelmed and lacked knowledge about hotel services. The property appeared understaffed, which affected service quality. **Confusing Layout:** The connection to Staybridge Suites created some confusion, especially regarding where to wait for the shuttle service. ## Overall Thoughts The Even Hotel brand has great potential with its fitness-focused amenities and modern rooms. The early check-in and parking fee waiver showed good customer service flexibility. However, the shuttle service failure and staffing issues on departure day were significant disappointments, especially for travelers with time-sensitive connections like cruise departures. **Would I stay again?** Possibly, but I'd verify shuttle services in advance and have backup transportation plans. **Best for:** Business travelers and fitness enthusiasts who appreciate in-room workout equipment and don't rely heavily on hotel shuttle services.

Great Hotel, Excellent ambiance, near to all the restaurants, cafe's (even Starbucks Reserve) and many other entertaining areas. Is the location, for tourist or alike, this is excellent place to stay which is near to many of the Seattle attractions. For fitness enthusiasts, this place even have a morning stretching needs in the room such as Yoga Mat, Block, Exercise Ball, Etc. The only downside is the high rate of parking lot. But, I can't ask for everything. Definitely is a place that I will comeback and stay again.

Overall decent, basic and clean hotel. Location near Lake Union, Google and 1m from MoPop/Space Needle and park. I like that there was a yoga mat and area in the room. Breakfast was tasty.

I'm Torn. I stayed here for 1 week from 10/04-10/11 (I am actively writing the review from my hotel room). Honestly I found it very hard to review this hotel because there were many things I really liked, but at the same time many things that annoyed me. I must be fair so I will list the bad first because there were more of those. THE BAD: Ok first let me begin by stating it is important to know that Even Hotel shares a building with Staybridge Inn & Suites, as they are both owned by IHG. That being said, they have independent lobbies, staff, and amenities. Now because of COVID the management have made the decision to close all amenities for Even Hotels (including the lobby) and reroute all traffic through the Staybridge Lobby. This ISN'T mentioned on their website AT ALL and the prices are still the same. To me this feels unfair. As a consumer it feels that they are taking advantage of the pandemic in order to decrease their own costs of upkeep. The rooms are cramped, the coffee is the room is not refilled, and there isn't even an in-room microwave. Worst of All parking is EXPENSIVE ($35/NIGHT) As of 10/11/20 ALL of the following are closed at Even Hotel 1. NO Lobby 2. NO Restaurant 3. NO Bar 4. NO Room Service 5. NO Gym 6. NO Housekeeping* (they clean the rooms only once a week, and garbage in the halls is picked up once a day) 7. NO Breakfast Bar ( They give you complimentary frozen food to cook yourself) 8. NO Outdoor Patio The rooms are cramped, the coffee is the room is not refilled, and there isn't even a microwave. Worst of All parking is EXPENSIVE ($35/NIGHT) Now don't get me wrong, I understand changes must be made in order to accommodate the pandemic and the city mandate. However, at this point in time in Seattle restaurants are allowed to be open, and outdoor patios are allowed to be open. Other hotels in the area have re-opened these amenities so I am unsure why Even has not followed suit. And even if you MUST close these things, you should at least report this online when making a booking, and the cost should reflect such closures. I expressed my concern to the staff here and was quickly dismissed. =( The GOOD 1. Wifi is Free 2. Pets are Free 3. The rooms and the hotel are incredibly clean 4. The underground parking garage is secure (Though very expensive) 5. The location is very convenient. 6. They offer in room yoga/fitness supplies 7. Cable TV in room is very nice. 8. Laundry Room for guests is free and very efficient 9. MOST Staff were friendly. (it's not their fault the property is being managed so poorly.) Overall the stay wasn't bad. However I do feel cheated because of the false advertising shown on their booking website. Definitely won't be returning.

EVEN Hotel is located in South Lake Union right off from highway I-5. It was a first time for me staying at EVEN Hotel, so I thought it is a privately-owned hotel as I've never heard of it but it is a part of an IHG Hotel group. The location is very good in the heart of Seattle SLU surrounded by major tech companies like Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc. EVEN is the only hotel located in the area, fairly new (less than 5-year old I think), and well-maintained. Neha who works at front desk is very professional, polite, and very customer-service oriented. She greeted me with smile and tried hard to accommodate me as much as possible to provide the excellent services. I was able to tell that she definitely enjoys her job with the great passion. She upgraded my reservation to a suite room but the room has a bit of street noise as it faced busy streets - Mercer St & Fairview Ave. I had to change my room to other type in a higher floor facing terrace. It was much better away from the noise although the room was definitely smaller than the suite. I took photos of both rooms to share with my followers. The hotel also provided a reusable water bottle with a belief that it would be healthier not only for the guests but also for the environment. Each room has small work-out equipment to help guests keep their well-being. The only cons I found during my stay - 1. Parking lot is limited and expensive, 2. No designated drop-off zone in front of hotel, 3. No complimentary breakfast, and 4. No swimming pool.

The Even Hotel is about a 30min walk from the Space Needle center or the Pike Place Market. This hotel is fitness friendly, including a yoga mat, yoga block, and foam roller in your room. When my friend booked the room she booked one with a Peloton but it didn't come in the room and when she called down, they said they were all taken. The room itself is clean, modern looking, simple. The shower pressure is good, big walk in shower. They don't clean your room everyday unless you ask them to specifically. If you need refills for toilet paper or towels you call down to the front to request them. The only challenging thing to note is sometimes it is hard to get the Lyft/Uber drivers to pick you up exactly at the hotel. So just be aware of this, sometimes they want you to walk down the street a little because this hotel is located at a big intersection and there's no real place to stop unless the driver pulls into the driveway where they'd have to go straight underground to exit. I think the hotel itself is fine, I just feel due to the challenge with ride share apps and the proximity to the tourist-y things to do I would book something closer to the pike place market and it would probably save you Lyft/Uber costs and you can put that toward a higher cost hotel.

We booked a stay at Even in Lake Union and stayed in July of 2021. While we've been with several other IHG brands, we hadn't yet stayed in an Even hotel and were intrigued by their health-conscious amenities. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and had very good customer service. We had combined 3 different reservations to use various rewards nights and they were helpful in combining these so we had one seamless stay. They offer several alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the front desk, even when the bar is closed. I saw images of water available in the lobby, including infused water, but this was not available throughout the duration of our stay. There is also a small shop in the corner with items available for purchase. Off of the lobby, there is a courtyard (it bends around the corner, so you can't see all of it from where you're checking in.) They have a turf area with outdoor games like jenga and cornhole. Towards the back, they have tables available. Around the corner, there are a few areas with outdoor chairs and a small "tabletop" firepit. When we were there, there were no cushions available for the chairs, so it wasn't the most comfortable. We were also disappointed that during one afternoon of our stay, this area was rented out for a private event, so we weren't able to use it. Once we were checked in, we made our way up to our room and were pleased at how clean and spacious it was. The room included a small area with a full length mirror, yoga mat and yoga block that you could use for exercise. The tv was equipped with exercise videos you can do in-room, but most included bands, which we did not have in our room. The room also included inspirational wellness-focused messages on the walls encouraging you to relax, rest, and get a good night's sleep. The bathroom included a rain shower and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in communal pumps. After we got settled, we received a text from Tracy at the front desk to welcome us and see if there was anything else we needed. We received similar texts two other times throughout our stay-- which was a nice touch we haven't received elsewhere. This hotel is somewhat strange in that it is combined with a Staybridge hotel. On the level below the Even lobby, there is a lobby for Staybridge. On each floor, half of the rooms are for Staybridge and half are for Even. On the Staybridge level, they offered a free to-go breakfast each morning (at least when we went-- during Covid.) I was assuming this would mean a grab and go bag with a granola bar and banana, but they actually had a menu available where you could choose from fruits, pastries, juices, and even frozen breakfast sandwiches. It was actually pretty good and substantial. The other kind of strange thing (not the hotel's fault of course) was that you're located on Amazon's campus. In order to book an Uber, we had to choose from a designated pickup spot in front of Amazon Amelia (a short walk-- a block over) instead of being picked up in front of our hotel. Not a big deal, but FYI. It's hard to say what our stay may have looked like in "normal times," as several amenities and services weren't offered, including housekeeping, etc. However, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot to spend the night before leaving on our cruise. Room use spotless, had list of amenities, and the hotel was extremely clean. Walking distance to waterfront and a couple of restaurants. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would stay again.

When we arrived, our room was not ready. They had problems with the cleaning crew. We were finally able to get in by the afternoon. Catherine, at the welcome desk was very helpful. No one else but 1 staff person spoke English so we had to use our phones to communicate. But in those situations, they were extremely friendly and willing to help as much as they could. Food was extremely expensive. What you expected for staying at a hotel was not accommodating. Although they had work out equipment in the room and everything was eco friendly and expensive.

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. If we find ourselves back in Seattle, this is where I will want to stay.

If…read moreyou want to be literally in the heart of the City, this location may not be for you, as its about a 1/2 hour walk to Pike Place or to the Space Needle, or a 15 minute drive. But considering how expensive Seattle is to park (as much as $40 a day), you can walk or take the bus ($2.25) or a taxi ($7) to get to the touristy spots like Pike Place or the Space Needle. We stayed on the third floor in the Garnet Room, which I highly recommend unless you can't walk a lot of stairs. The room has a lot of natural sunlight, plenty of storage area for our belongings, and plenty of room to spread out. The plus is there's no one above us, so it was definitely quiet! My only minus is the tv in the room is tiny (my computer monitor at home is bigger) and its antenna tv, not cable, so its hit or miss if the station comes in. The Inn does have DVD's in the library, but I had no idea where to get the DVD player. The Inn provided a portable air conditioning unit and fans in the Garnet room, but quite honestly, it never got hot enough to use. The room did get a little stuffy but we opened the sky light panels, and the crack of air plus the fan gave the room ample circulation. The Garnet room had a nice deep, whirlbath (jacuzzi style) tub which was wonderful to soak after a long day of being a tourist. There's very little street traffic at night, and even with the windows opened, it was quiet. Every morning, breakfast was served between 7:30-9:30. Even though the table was set for 10 people, we never seemed to have any problem sharing breakfast with the entire house. The breakfasts weren't extremly "gourmet" compared to many B+B's I've stayed at, but the food was hearty, and sufficient to get us through the day, such as french toast, huevos ranchero (with scramble egg instead of fried), blueberry pancakes with sausage, and a herb scramble with rosemary toast. Plenty of coffee or tea, and a side board with yogurt and granola toppings. Other perks included free use of the computer and printer, plenty of little snacks throughout the house, like nuts, candies, biscottis, and a fridge to store food or drinks, if needed. There was coffee and tea available all day, and fresh fruit. Again, nothing really extravagant, but sufficient to make our stay pleasant. There's parking in the back for 4 or 5 cars, and an overflow next door in the green house lot, plus street parking if needed. If I had to give it a negative feedback, it may be the lack of interaction the staff has with the guests. But, some people tend to like not having to see the staff, but they did provide a number for us to call if we needed anything, anytime. The staff also accommodated our early flight, and had breakfast for us at 7:30 prompt, so we could be out the door at 7:45. For the price we paid ($159/ night) and a quiet location, its a very good deal and I'd gladly recommend this place.

Ever since staying at a B&B in Napa, I ended searching for one in Seattle and stumbled upon Greenlake Guest House. I checked availability, what they offer and so forth and grew too love it and wanted to book our stay with them! Julie our host was so amazing! She was kind and attentive! When we arrived she gave us a tour of the house and showed us to our room! There is a community fridge with water and sodas as well as a Keurig for coffee or tea. There was a welcome basket and bottle of wine that was provided with our stay. Julie told us that we can use their contactless app to put in our breakfast order or utilize the sheet that was provided. She told us that we can pick as little or as much as we wanted. I read great reviews on her homemade granola and definitely had to try it! After breakfast they would give you the sheet to choose breakfast for the next day. Everyday there's something different and everything that we had tried has been delicious! They bake fresh cookies everyday and you have the option to request for them on the menu and if you need your room cleaned. Julie and her staff were all so amazing to us during our stay! We really enjoyed our time here and appreciate their hospitality! Will definitely stay again whenever we visit again!

Upon arrival, we head into our taxi into the lovely area of Seattle that is Capitol Hill. Lynda, the owner of this beautiful B&B, greets us warmly at this beautiful old Victorian-style home that's been in her family for decades upon decades. The hubby and I particularly like staying at B&Bs because they tend to be cleaner (after all, what person would let their OWN house go into a state of disrepair), and we actually like talking to the friendly owners and other guests. Admittedly, this place has furnishings that aren't exactly hip & modern. It lends itself to a bit more 'old-woman' chic. However, the furnishings are all old antique furniture that has been in her family for ages. Beautiful quality furniture that kind of takes you back in time. But what REALLY sets this place apart is Lynda herself. Lynda is a lovely woman...feels like your friendly aunt who wants nothing more than to chit chat at her dining table with you. Sure, she can be a bit overly-chatty, but like we said, we love a friendly B&B host. Lynda really made our stay lovely - even sent up a bottle of wine for us on our anniversary with a cute little note. Got to talk to Lynda about all kinds of wonderful and fascinating stuff (she lived in Mexico for 20 or so years when she went off to college, met a guy down there and married him!)...conversations were lovely and really made our trip all the more 'cozier'. Side note: Lynda has a large dog, Madeline, and a cat, Agnes (I believe). Agnes is apparently the meanest little cat...but she ignores you so just ignore her. Madeline is absolutely a doll...a big lovebug. But obviously...if you don't like pets and you don't like a chatty host, then this place may not be your place. But otherwise, head on over to this lovely B&B and let Lynda take care of you!
