We booked this hotel prior to going on a cruise to Alaska because we saw they had a shuttle to cruise port on embarkation morning. They also had an airport shuttle so we booked that via email a few days before our flight. They needed the flight number and est arrival time so that the driver could monitor our flight for any delays. Shuttle pick up from airport smooth, driver Ashu from car service kept in touch even with a flight delay, 30 min drive from airport. He picked up other passengers for another hotel and dropped them off first then dropped us off at the front door of Mediterranean. Armani was at check in desk at the hotel, super helpful and informative Room clean upon arrival, no view from the room but rooftop garden area open to all guests with terrific views of the city and space needle. Even tho it's on a busy street, it was very quiet in and around the inn at night. Bathroom looks recently renovated and is gorgeous. Water pressure in the shower isn't the strongest but it's also not weak either. Adjusting shower head for height and spray is nice to have available. We stayed two nights and room was cleaned while we were out and about during the day which was nice to come back to. Safe didn't lock so it was pretty useless. Check out was easy, could be done remotely online or at the front desk upon exit. We got two key cards, one of which didn't work which was fine cuz we went everywhere together and only needed one, but we did over hear other guests complaining about the same thing. Starbucks right next door was our go to since they didn't offer a breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants, sights and even a grocery store within walking distance of this hotel, very convenient! Cruise port shuttle, signed up for a departure time at check in. Shuttle leaves every half hour starting at 9. 10 min ride. Pay driver, cash or card. Easy drop off right in front of baggage check in and entrance into port security. Highly recommend this hotel to other cruise goers, and already have since we've been back!

I was a little nervous booking this hotel without knowing the location but as it turns out, it's a really great place to stay. I loved the service I received, the cleanliness, the surrounding safety, and the room. Very, very happy! I will definitely book this hotel the next time I'm in Seattle. Everything is walking distance. No need for a car to go to downtown, Pioneer Square, Pike Market, Space Needle, Olympic Sculpture Park, and many great restaurants. We are on our way to an Alaskan cruise and it's just a 10 minute drive. By the way, this hotel has car service to and from the airport and to the cruise ships ports. Enjoy!

Very convenient option for the one night prior to cruising. My wife couldn't get past those dingy white? hallways though so she said I couldn't give the hotel five stars. Other than that the hotel was very decent as the room was clean & just enough for a one stay. We rarely rode the elevator; it was too slow! I kept getting coffee in the lobby. We checked into our hotel a little early like 1230 which was prior to check in time although we got there at 1130 & stored our luggage there no extra charge. The hotel was reachable via the light rail & monorail & walked from there. Thank goodness it was gorgeous weather. We had convenient & nice foodie restaurant options nearby too! We even walked to a nearby Safeway but just be aware of the rift raft around there. The next day we walked to Space Needle & Chihuly art museum! Also don't forget to walk up to the rooftop! There's nice seating up there for the lovely scenic views! Woohoo! Great place for a drink up there in the afternoon & evening or coffee in the morning! If you need to go to the Smith Cove Pier 91 for cruising they do have shuttles but you should reserve the day before. We did that upon checking into the hotel to play it safe. Plus you must make payment DIRECTLY to the driver. The hotel doesn't receive that charge. We learned that the hard way!!! LOL The hotel was only 20 minutes away from the pier. My silly wife wanted to walk from our hotel to there but I said NO!

Nice!

4.5/5 This is a great option if you are looking for a hotel near the Seattle Center attractions. Everyone working here was very friendly and helpful. If you come here before check in and there aren't any rooms available they can hold your luggage for you while you explore the surrounding area. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance, as well as a CVS and Safeway near by. When we first walked into our room it smelled freshly cleaned, and I was impressed in particular with the spotless bathroom. The housekeeping staff clearly work hard to create a great environment for guests to stay in. I loved the little touches such as the flower shaped tissue arrangement in the Kleenex box. Next to the elevators they have a table set up with complimentary infused water and coffee, a cool little perk for staying here. Check out the rooftop terrace while you are here too. The views are quite nice. The only negative I can think of is that the elevators are super slow. We ended up taking the stairs a lot of the time even though we were on one of the higher floors. Details: - Shuttle available to the cruise ship piers - Fitness center on site - Garage parking available - Loaner bikes available - Starbucks attached to the hotel - Free wi-fi - Gilchrist and Soames bath and body products

If you're looking at this hotel, just do it. Service was friendly, the entire hotel is very clean, beds were comfy and they have a really cool rooftop area where you can bring drinks up to and relax. They even have heaters up there that you can turn on. They have secured parking that is completely gated and my oversized truck fit down there (7 foot clearance). This is now my "Go-To" hotel if staying in downtown Seattle. It's within walking distance to the Space Needle and the Climate Pledge arena. Plenty of food options by the hotel that are within walking distance.

I chose Mediterranean Inn as the hotel is close to the piers where we planned to take a cruise. Getting dropped off at the hotel, I immediately liked the looks of the Mediterranean Inn. The neighborhood is, well, urban grit..but that's ok..after all, this is Seattle not Beverly Hills! The agent at the front desk, Armani, was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We went to our room which was absolutely immaculate! My # 1 criteria for a hotel room is it must be clean & ours certainly was!! The next morning we enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the lobby, plus there's a water beverage kiosk also. The lobby is homey & comfortable. There's a great computer room to use, as well as a computer in the lobby. Don't miss the rooftop..go up & enjoy the views! We checked out at noon but as our flight was much later that night we wanted to explore Pikes Market. Kay, the lovely receptionist at the front desk, stored our luggage. Kay was so helpful in getting us a car service to Seattle Tacoma Airport also. I highly recommend Mediterranean Inn..the positive vibes of the hotel shows in that owner/ company " cares " ! I felt this hotel is like a family & welcomes it's visitors with open arms! Thank you ! Maryjane Scheibal. PS- The Mediterranean has a guest laundry too!

The view from our room - and the windows opened, which was a lovely touch.

Having lived in Seattle for years, I will always have a soft spot for Lower Queen Anne, so this seemed like the logical conclusion for a girls long weekend trip back to Seattle. I was not wrong either - the location was spot on perfect. It is easy to get around the city either by bus or Uber or just on foot. It is a 10-minute walk to the Space Needle and less than 10 minutes to some of my favorite bars in the city. We were treated so well by the staff. From the moment we walked in, they treated us right, and we never had less than a good experience with anyone. We were even given an upgrade for booking directly with the hotel, so we were given a view of the Sound from the top floor. It was glorious, and I felt so spoiled. My friend, who had only been to Seattle once or twice, was even more in heaven. Even better, the windows opened wide to let fresh air in, but there was also an air conditioner/heater, if needed. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was sparkling clean. We had two double beds, and both were comfortable, and we got great sleep. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The hotel had nice little amenities like a coffee bar in the lobby (as well as a Starbucks attached to the lobby) and a small gym. They also cheerfully held our luggage after we checked out. And that rooftop can't be not mentioned. They had a lovely rooftop terrace with some seating and heaters to look at the stunning view. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, especially if I could get an awesome view like we had this time!

What is the perfect season and month to visit Seattle to have a pretty view like some of these photos here? 🤩

Mid July to Mid August generally brings the clearest skies

Are their ashtrays on the rooftop?

Yes there are ashtrays. They are not located by the seating areas but by the walkway.

How is their room service food?

Room service was limited. The beverages (cucumber water, assorted teas, coffee bar) was on point in the lobby. I was able to find lovely delivery options even at 3 am so getting delicious food delivered was not an issue!

What's the parking situation like? How much is parking at the hotel and can you go in and out?

Parking is under the building, key card access with in/out privileges.

Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. While we had access to early check in with our credit card, our room type (suite) was not ready yet and actually ended up not being ready until around 4:00 P.M. (regular check in time) so we did have to drop off our luggage and decided to walk around. When we came back and our room was ready, my husband did call down and mentioned it was our anniversary since they had confirmed in previously but we didn't see anything in the room, and they were very kind to bring up a little treat for us including some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. The room itself was spacious and clean with a great view of the city (we had a corner view). The bath tub had a fun feature (water to fill the tub came from a ceiling faucet rather than attached to the tub. The towels were large and fluffy and overall ambience was relaxing with a couch in the room. Check out was smooth and they had our bill ready and everything was easy/correct so we did not have to worry. We also did have late check out, which was pleasant as we could have a leisurely morning. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The main issues I had were as follows: - A lot of the "extra perks" disappeared. When I checked in last time, I was greeted warmly and gifted a glass of champagne. I don't expect that exact thing every time, but when staying at a premium hotel like this, little things really make the experience a lot more enjoyable. It felt starkly different this time in terms of the service and generosity -- much more generic. - My room was far noisier than my previous visit. I'm not sure what changed, but I could hear noises from other units and from the street much more loudly this time. - On noise, the AC unit in my room this time was much noisier as well. Generally speaking, I still think this is a great hotel, but I had a disappointing experience this time vs my prior stay. I will give it another shot next time, but with caution.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. We always got stocked with dark roast coffee pods, which is my preference, whoo. Also an empty mini fridge which we were able to use for beverages and leftovers. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. You might want to check Spot Hero or similar to see if you can get a better deal on parking nearby. All told I was impressed by this hotel and I think we will stay here next time we return to Seattle.

The greeters always opened the door for me, the check-in desk staff were courteous and always had a smile, and the checkout process was also quick and ended with an invitation to return to the property the next time I'm in Seattle. As soon as I stepped out of my Uber upon initial arrival, a staff member walked up to open my door and asked if I needed help with my bags. My room was comfortable in every aspect. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years. Location, location, location! The hotel is literally a block away from the entrance to Pike Place Market where you can spend days shopping, snacking, and enjoying the views of the water. The views from the hotel room are breathtaking as the Great Wheel (Ferris wheel) and Aquarium are just a few minutes away by foot. From the Four Seasons, we were able to walk to Chinatown in under 30 min (you can also take the train just 2 stops down) and Seattle Center where the Space Needle is located is also walkable and also accessible via monorail. The staff greets you at the door every time you enter and exit, and the lobby is full of surprises like premium coffee and tea in the mornings and a candy bar in the afternoon. Every time our room was serviced, it was done to perfection and then some. The chat function on the app was amazing as I was able to make requests and ask questions with ease. Responses were close to immediate. At the front desk and concierge, staff are also very friendly and treated us with respect and honor. They also provided great advice for food and sightseeing options close by. They never tried to sell me stuff where they would make money off of it. I could go on and on, but I have to say that my family's experience was extremely memorable, and if I could give this place 6 stars, I would. If you're looking for the optimal location for breathtaking views, seconds away from Pike Place Market, and still walkable to the Space Needle, Chinatown, the Convention Center, etc., this is it, y'all!
