Great hotel! Great location! This is a place I've stayed at numerous times over the last 10 years, and recently found myself back for a local staycation. Close to downtown, very clean and always a wonderful and helpful staff. The gym is amazing and has just about any equipment you'll need for a solid workout. Above average breakfast items offered (I recommend the French toast and strawberries) Ample parking across the street and general good vibes at this hidden oasis.

I am specifically reviewing The Bistro at this Courtyard Lake Union hotel. I will say, I am a Marriott associate from east coast and usually don't opt for hotel meals. BUT, I'm glad we decided to have both a light dinner and breakfast here. It was DELICIOUS! Ambiance is very nice, especially at dinner time. Service was fantastic and everyone we met on staff were kind, attentive and with great personalities. For dinner we ordered flatbreads which were VERY filling and we could have split them, but didn't expect such a good and well portioned serving. Breakfast we had eggs our way and my picky self with eggs got exactly how I ordered. Chef knows how to prepare eggs. Everything was delicious. Yes, pricey, but at a hotel you expect that, but I feel it was worth the price and no effort looking or walking anywhere else in a strange town.

If you're visiting Seattle and struggling to figure out what neighborhood to stay in, look no further. This Courtyard is in an amazing location with an underground self parking garage. Easy access to all things you'd want to see and do in Seattle. Great Lake view also. Room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

Ready nice hotel in downtown. Feels like a safe area. E walked to the space needle, Chihuly Garden and the museum of pop. It has a really nice restaurant in it called the bistro that's open for breakfast and dinner. A workout room, a little place where you can buy snacks and things you forgot to bring, a pool and so much more. The rooms are very comfortable. Our room was just a king so it wasn't huge but plenty big enough for us with a pullout sofa a large TV and a large king size bed. The bathroom is very nice. Split into two rooms With a real nice spacious shower room. The people behind the front counter were nice each time we spoke with him and gave us suggestions for where to go and a couple maps to get around. It's not too far from the ports and the sound as well. Very fresh looking not sure how old it is, but the rooms are nice and clean recently repainted and walls redone, our shower look to be almost new if not new. Highly recommend.

Parking option does not have how much it cost

I'm just now getting on the hotel review train. Overall, I would not stay here again . The room size is pretty small, but it's definitely doable. The check-in and parking is what frustrates me . I travel with Marriott a lot . Whenever you book a hotel if you go under amenities it has parking and it usually list how much parking is for and if it is on site, indoor garage, etc.. ---- I checked in and no one told me that it was extra for parking . They just asked if I was parking a vehicle with them and what type of vehicle. -- When you park your car and you take the ticket , it does not say anything about it being paid. It just says take your ticket by the front desk for it to. " validated". And then, as you're walking back from your car, you have a sign on the door that says overnight parking is $40. -- Personally, I think that it is a form of manipulation to hide the parking cost . For me the room tonight was. $160. As you can tell by my review so far... I am thorough about details. The guy who checked me in was nice, but he didn't mention anything about the parking like I said earlier . Hotel does not have a pool so that is a turn off in rooms are kind of small but other than that it is a pretty decent stay. The hotel does have a restaurant, but the menu is very limited . Drinks are somewhat spendy but who cares. I will dispute the parking charge at a later date, but beware. $160 stay to a $200 stay. Only benefit is not Marriott points.

    Gym was great!

We stayed here for a night while visiting the city and found it to be a reasonably nice Marriot close to lots of Seattle attractions. We were in town to attend a show and didn't want to drive home after. Our king room had clean linens, a nice bathroom, and was quiet. A better view of the water could be gotten on the other side of the hotel, but ours was facing a parking lot with some long-term homeless housing units. Our room had everything we needed, though pillows were pretty uncomfortable, and coffee/tea selection was a bit sad. The toiletries smelled great, though, and check-in and check out were easy. Parking garage is pretty small, but apparently, there is a lower level, too, so if you have trouble finding parking, be sure and ask. It's walking distance to the water, lots of shops and restaurants; however, the city can be unsafe at times recently and there are lots of ubers for hire. Restaurant and bar in the hotel looked nice, and the gym was beautiful and luxurious. Overall, it's a pretty decent Courtyard Marriot.

As I make reservations for this year's NYE trip to see those Space Needle Fireworks!! I realized I never left a review. this was an absolutely amazing hotel combo. That was the fact that there's a giant parking spot right across the street to avoid expensive shallow parking double bonus. Did you have a nice gym and a beautiful atmosphere and walking score and leave keep in mind there is no pool or hot tub... stay at Marriotts when possible and I will say this did not disappoint, and they always do a lot being very accommodating and their app is top-notch. Rings are clean and staff is friendly no complaints. We're back on round 2

There's only a small area for parking in front of the hotel and it's also the spot for Valet. You'll likely have to post up in the travel lane to check in or drop off your car. The hotel has some unique amenities but I wasn't able to use them for such a short stay. The King corner room far exceeded my expectations. It's spacious and felt pretty luxurious. The star of the room is the soaking tub. It's deep and the water is hot. I especially liked that there's a separate shower. The workspace is nice and there are plenty of plugs for everything. The Nespresso comes stocked and is free to use. The mini bar, not so much, and it's pretty pricy. The bed. THE BED! If I could have brought it home with me I would have. It's lush and it smelled good. Like fresh dryer sheets good. I don't think I've ever said that about a hotel bed before. If you need a firm bed you won't like this one. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but when I did it was pleasant. I am definitely staying here again.

One stand out is the gentleman at Rosebay craft cocktails serving wine at the 3 o'clock hour. He was exceptional.

I had a great stay at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown and would definitely consider staying here…read moreagain. I booked it partly because it's part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, so I could earn and redeem Hilton Honors points. That was a huge plus since I was visiting during the World Cup and hotel prices were absolutely wild: close to $800 a night if I had paid out of pocket! The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. There was a bellman opening the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, and it was always easy to grab an Uber right outside the hotel. One feature I really liked was the little pantry in the lobby. It's basically a self-service convenience store stocked with local candy, snacks, wine, beer, and other treats. You scan everything yourself and can charge it directly to your room, which was super convenient. We used our HHonors stay credit to buy a small bottle of Washington State wine and some local chocolates. The hotel has a really fun music theme throughout, and the design is modern with a Scandinavian-inspired feel. As a Gen Xer, I thought the vibe was just plain cool without trying too hard. Our standard King room had huge windows, a spacious sitting area, and clean, minimalist European-style décor that felt fresh and comfortable. The hotel itself was also surprisingly quiet despite being located in an urban area, so we slept really well. The only disappointment was our view. It wasn't much to look at. I was secretly hoping for an upgrade, but no luck. Not a deal breaker, just a minor letdown considering one side of the hotel affords perfect views of the Space Needle. The location is excellent for sightseeing on foot. We walked to Pike Place Market in about 10 minutes, and the Space Needle was also around a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction. Just be prepared for Seattle's hills! They're no joke, and you'll be going up and down some very, very steep streets to get to the waterfront. There are also plenty of great restaurants, bars, shops, and coffee shops within easy walking distance. One thing I'd mention is that while we felt comfortable during the day, after dinner around 10:45 p.m. we decided to take an Uber back from the Pike Place Market area instead of walking back to the hotel because parts of the area felt a little sketchy at night. Seattle has a very serious problem with drug users and unhoused folks, and they can get a little scary. I feel so badly for them, but I also felt a lot safer in an Uber than trying to walk back in the downtown area that late at night. The Sound is a stylish, comfortable hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a fun personality. If you're a Hilton Honors member, it's an especially solid choice when Seattle hotel prices are high.

The front desk had a room available for me a little earlier than normal check-in and had wonderful suggestions for a little snack around the hotel. The room is much more spacious than pictures can show. I really enjoyed the two separate seating areas. The window area settee was the perfect place for a snack and using my laptop to prepare for the next day. The closet has more than just two hangers, which I appreciated being able to hang the clothes that needed to be hung and steamed later. The bed was soft, but not overly so and the charging options on the nightstand helped me keep some of my electronics packed and neat. Being in Downtown Seattle, I really didn't feel like I needed a car. The Sound is situated in a great place to just walk where I needed to go. Less than five minutes away from Westlake where I could catch either the monorail or Link, was very convenient for me. I enjoy walking around to get familiar with the area I'm in and there was so much to see!!! I will be back to The Sound for my next Seattle adventure!

Our last two nights of our journey were spent in Seattle at the Shafer Baillie mansion. I would highly recommend staying here. The location was great for getting to downtown and all around. It is close to the Cap Hill neighborhood with shops and restaurants. There is plenty of street parking in the vicinity. The mansion itself is part of what was known as Millionaire's Row. It was built in 1914 and has been well cared for over the years. When we came back from one evening out, we all gathered in the Library and set up some charcuterie and wine to share from our travels. It was so cozy sitting all together and chatting about our adventures. The rooms are historic with modern conveniences. Our room was the Queen Ann Hill. We slept soundly in our comfortable 4 poster bed. There was a helpful step stool for me to climb up as I am vertically challenged. It has original pushbotton light switches. It had a beautiful full length mirror. There was a flatscreen TV, but we had so many wonderful activities we did not use it. The bathroom was updated but still fit with the historic look. There were two showerheads in the tiled shower. Breakfast was lovely. I, personally, have a great deal of food allergies. There was ample selection that I was able to enjoy just as much as anyone else. There were breads and pastries, jams and spreads, yogurt and fresh berries, and a hot breakfast dish. Hard boiled eggs were available as well as cheeses and meats. There was a coffee bar that was available all day that also had tea and cocoa. We sat at the long dining table enjoying each others company and conversation. We got to meet some of the other guests which added to the experience. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch. In general, every staff member I encountered was pleasant, eager to help, and always smiled and made eye contact when speaking with me. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and have no complaints. This property is one of the top 2-3 Four Seasons hotels I have stayed at over the past several years.
