This place is a primarily mandarin and Cantonese speaking business but i think most of the people here speaking English as well, and most days I went it was pretty Lively with what we're clearly repeat and regular customers coming in, some of them even knowing the other stylist well enough that they were socializing and asking about personal lives, but I also had my nice chill haircuts with Thomas so you can get probably any kind of haircut experience that you want here. I will say that I didn't see any women here so I'm not sure if they actually do women's haircuts but I'm pretty sure based on their website and their clientele they only do men's haircuts. This is in a very Chinese area of LA County so that's to be expected though.

My first barber is like a brother to me, and I couldn't imagine anyone else cutting my hair. When I moved to California, finding that same level of detail and care was almost impossible for the longest, until I discovered Ali at MJ's Barbershop in Alhambra. I walked in, and she was the only one there cutting a client. Hesitant, I waited, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made all year. Ali is exceptional. With over 15 years of experience, she has a vision for detail like no other. It's more than a haircut; it's an experience. From the precision in my beard grooming, the sharpness in the line up, to the relaxing temple massages, every detail is perfect and necessary every time once you've had it.
