I am blown away. I've never hired a cleaning service and had let all of my bathrooms go way too long without care because I was dealing with a family emergency. I called for service expecting to only use them one time and they sent two lovely ladies the same day. They got there 30 mins early and got straight to work. The level of detail was incredible. Was recommened to Everclean for a deep cleaning service by a friend in the real estate business. Set up an appointment to meet with a supervisor at my home. Left my office early to meet the supervisor and she failed to show. After a half-hour of waiting, I called the office and a different representative said they had no record of the appointment nor any notes regarding the appointment. We booked this service online because our neighbor recommended them and we have guests coming for the weekend. We received a confirmation that our booking was accepted. The times stated seemed egregious, anytime between 8am-5pm, but since we had flexible schedules we went with it. It's now noon and no one has arrived so we called the company. They said they don't clean in DC on Fridays and they didn't have record of our reservation. "I don't know why the system let you book it." I also don't know why the system let us book it, ma'am. And the audacity to say "your neighbor should have told you." My neighbor doesn't work for Everclean. They didn't offer any solutions. Didn't offer a discount for future appointments. We are left in a lurch with company here in a few hours and house work we didn't prepare for. It's unprofessional and we won't be rebooking with this company. I don't leave negative reviews but the lack of concern and accountability when we called was beyond the pale. read more

Mediocre job at best. Cleaners did not follow the instructions I left. Overcharged for cleaning a 1 bedroom apt when they didn't even have to clean the bedroom which is a good 1/3 of my apartment. I certainly got no follow up the next day and the invoice arrived almost 2 months later. When I called to ask about the bill the woman I spoke to acted like because I got the advertised first-time buyer discount that I had no right to question the service. I'll just keep trying out new services through Groupon and the like because I have yet to find a cleaning service in this area that I'd go back to. Definitely won't be this place. read more

I typically clean my own apartment, but my husband and I were extremely busy and we had guests visiting that I figured it was time to get my house cleaned professionally and not stress about finding time to clean it myself. It was last-minute and I was gratefully squeezed in for an afternoon appointment. I was expecting to be out of the house, so I left my keys with the concierge downstairs. I was instructed to put everything away (clothes, shoes etc) that I didn't want to be moved and close any doors for closets or rooms that didn't need to be cleaned. I also left some clean sheets on the bed to be remade. My apartment is never a huge mess to be honest, but the girls came in and I told them I'd be out of the apartment soon, they got to working right away. My only instruction was to not use any chemicals (like pledge) on the furniture- and they were really good about that. And lastly that they could leave the key in the apartment when they were done. Considering that I left the house and came back much later in the evening, I honestly don't know how long they took, but the first thing that hit me when I opened my door was the SMELL!!! I have never smelled my apartment smell so clean and fresh and amazing!! I don't know what these girls are using but daaaaaamn!!! I looked over everything and was just amazed at the work they did. They did the few dishes left in the sink (which it honestly never occurred to me that they would). They vacuumed my couch :)))))) They didn't leave a thing uncleaned! I literally sat (on the floor) waiting for my husband to come home so he could experience what I experienced when I walked in through the door. I initially made the appointment a week in advance, then had to postpone another week. The person who made my appointment was nice and told me I did not have to provide my Angiel's List coupon during the service as they had it available. My appointment was at 8am. However, I received a call around 830am telling me the women were lost. Apparently, during the initial appointment-making, the person wrote down my address wrong and failed to confirm, so the housekeepers arrived approimately 45 minutes late. The overall work completed was excellent and very thorough. However, only one out of the three spoke English and that was very limited and broken. At one point during the cleaning, the English-speaking woman came down and told me she was having issues with my brand new Kirby vacuum (I've owned this vacuum for about 2 months). She had taken the rolling brush out of it and replaced it wrong. After I fixed it, she came and got me again and told me when she vacuumed there was a burning smell. I don't know what she did to my brand new vacuum, but now it smells like something is catching on fire when it is running. I hope for their sake my Kirby sales rep can fix this. The women completed the rest of the work quickly. When they were getting ready to leave, the English-speaking woman was on the phone with the main office. She turned to me and told me that I owed an additional $120 because the three women went over the Angie's List coupon time. I spoke with the main office and told them I would not pay the additional amount because that was not what we had negotiated in the beginning. I called for and requested 4-hours worth of maid services (a total of 1 hour, 20 minutes with 3 people) and nothing more. I also told her that it should have been clear to both me AND the housekeepers that 1 hour and 20 minutes was the max time available for them to clean. It is absolutely unacceptable for the company to expect me to pay additional when that was not the initial agreement nor was that stated in advance. Furthermore, the English-speaking housekeeper was unaware of her time limitations because the main office did not tell her. Overall, the communication was very poor, but the work was excellent. The woman I spoke to from the main office was brash and rude and I will never use or recommend this company. Save your time and money and find a better place. There are plenty out there. If you don't want to deal with rude and non-English-Speaking people, I would recommend finding another company. These people are pretty awful. read more

I have been a client of Everclean for just short of 20 years, Over this long an association there have been outstanding times and some mediocre times, but, on the whole, I could not recommend a nicer company to do business with. Yes, language is an issue. I do not speak Spanish and sometimes I wonder if the cleaning team is understanding what I want; but I need honesty and trustworthiness as much as cleaning skill and Everclean has never let me down. I always leave as soon as the team arrives and nothing of value including small stashes of cash has ever been touched in my home. I have spoken at length with some of the Everclean staff and each person is a hard working family woman trying to make a new life and working extra hard to advance themselves and their families. Each team member is legally documented and Everclean treats its staff in a fair equitable manner with benefits and vacation. Yes, I could clean my own home, but I just don't want to do it. Everclean Maid Service has relieved me from being a tired, nagging mother. I have time for my family and friends and do not have a kaniption if something spills or the bathroom is messy. Cleaning is not cheap factory work. It requires human beings committing human actions to accomplish and such services are not given away...even by foreigners. I find the cost of this cleaning service to be a bargain as related to my family function. It sure is less expensive than a family therapist and Everclean Maid Service is responsible for my husband being married for almost 30 years. read more

I was very impressed with Everclean! We ordered an Amazon Local deal to give them a try and were very pleasantly surprised. They came early and worked very efficiently. They were done on time and our house looks beautiful. The women were very nice, gave us time to look over their work before they left and really paid attention to detail. We had our home cleaned yesterday by Everclean and we were very impressed! We've had a different biweekly maid service for years so we are familiar with the usual quality level. Everclean honestly went above and beyond what we've had before. The crew consisted of 3 women and they spent more than 2 hours at our home without charging an extra fee for the first cleaning like most services do. I keep finding things that they've cleaned, like the toaster inside and out, the finger marks on the kitchen cabinets and this morning I realized they vacuumed the carpet inside the master bedroom closet and put the things away that were on the floor. All the floors and counters were shiny and cleaner than ever before. I'm assuming the level of quality will continue as we are going to schedule them biweekly in the future. I definitely recommend giving Everclean a try if you need cleaning services. read more

I understand that circumstances may arise, but now I have no time to find an alternate before my event. They want a 24 cancellation policy from customers, then they should use the same policy the other way around. read more

Really good experience! I bought a groupon or living social to clean my place before my family came to visit and was a little skeptical if it would work out. I was able to schedule a "before work time" less than a week after calling and the three maids came to my door on the dot of the scheduled time. So impressed. They estimated it would take an hour to all clean my one bedroom apartment. I left the apt to make room for them to do their work and when I returned 90 minutes later came home to a really clean apartment--with a sparkling bathroom (the main reason I called!). It wasn't a perfect job--there were a couple things I wish they spent more time on--but overall it looked great, and saved me a lot of time prepping for my visitors during a busy week at work. I'd definitely use them again. I'm not sure I could afford them every week but definitely for the periodic special occasion. Use them! read more

When I called to schedule they were very friendly, understood I needed an afternoon appointment, and scheduled my cleaning at a perfect time for me. The day before they called and asked if they could come at 12:30 instead of 2, which I said was fine and rescheduled some meetings so I'd be free at 12:30. They showed up at 11:15 though and were rude about having been outside for 10 minutes when I could get off my conference call and answer the door. They never asked about specific things I needed done; they immediately went upstairs and started cleaning. I had just changed the sheets in one of the bedrooms and had stripped the sheets in the 2nd bedroom but since they came so early I hadn't gotten them washed yet. I asked them to wash them and remake the bed and they looked like I'd asked them to dig through my trash or something. When I got home the bed was made but they had put the dirty sheets back on!!! The washer had not been used at all. They also didn't dust shelves thoroughly or wipe down anything in the kitchen except the counters (not the fronts of the appliances, etc). The dish towels were very wet and wadded up on the counter, and things all over the house had been moved and not put back where they were. We were so disappointed in their service :( read more
