One star for the sales person (Nolan) and one star for the price of the vehicle we purchased (Lucid). Although, minus 3 stars for the finance department (Van) and management's handling of our discrepancy from the financing department. We repeatedly said we didn't want GAP coverage. Van still tried to slip a paper in the documents for us to sign accepting GAP coverage. We didn't sign and asked him why that paper was included when we repeatedly said no. He said it was a mistake and he discarded the paperwork. We then asked him if the amount financed needed to be adjusted, which he told us no and that everything was still good. That was a lie, as when we reviewed the paperwork after the fact, there was a $1,000 GAP coverage charge since he did not correct the paperwork. He said he would cut a check to the lienholder for that amount and that he would send email proof on March 2nd. We did not get an email and have not been able to get a hold of him. On March 13th, after repeated unanswered phone calls, I was able to use the text feature on the Evergreen Chevrolet website and discuss with a representative. They let me know that this was concerning and assured me that they would bring this up to management and that someone would contact me. It is now March 18th and still nothing. I do not appreciate the dishonest tactics and rarely write reviews, but I felt this was worth a mention. Please triple check your finance paperwork if you said no to GAP coverage and make sure you didn't get charged. read more

I'll start off by saying that I rarely leave reviews for anything, so the fact that I am doing so should indicate some pretty terrible service. Here's the details: my mom's 1996 Camaro's fuel pump failed, and she had it towed to Evergreen for replacement. The service department returned it to her with a non-working fuel gauge, and she immediately turned around and returned upon noticing, and was advised that it was safe to drive and once she had time for it to be fixed, Evergreen would repair it at cost. It was her only vehicle, so she couldn't be without it any longer. She then passed away a few of weeks later from a stroke; upon returning the car to the dealer immediately after her death, I was advised by Joe that the dealership would cover the cost of the part but not the labor. Figuring that this was perhaps just a service department issue, I escalated the issue to Evergreen's General Manager, Brian, who then informed me that "After discussions with my Fixed Ops manager and Shop foreman, we must convey that we will not be covering the repair expenses. Without evidence that we caused any damage during our initial service, we cannot assist financially." The fuel level sender and pump are removed as a unit from the tank; you literally cannot remove the pump without handling the sender. According to my mother prior to her passing, the gauge worked fine when it was towed, and Evergreen provided NO evidence whatsoever that it was inoperable when they received it. They literally paid their tech to remove the rear axle, drop the fuel tank, diagnose the issue, and reassemble, but NOT replace a $150 part that failed while the vehicle was being worked on. So, now, in the middle of dealing with the grief of the wholly unexpected death of my mother, now I get to spend hours of my time that I already didn't have to do the work that they refused to do. Evergreen management's decision, in my opinion, is beyond petty and childish. Avoid this service department at all costs, ESPECIALLY if you have an older vehicle. read more

I've bought two Corvettes from Evergreen and have serviced them there since 2007. In my experience this is one of the most professional places I've had the pleasure to work with. Tony and his staff have always been friendly, greet me by name whenever I visit and generally provide a welcoming and professional experience. I often wait while my car is serviced just to visit with the staff and try to offset my modest service costs by drinking as much of their free coffee as I can. Evergreen, IMO feels like "Family" It's not fun to buy a car these days, sometimes owing to inexperienced sales people and crude techniques often applied the some other dealers. That's what I call the, "If I could, Would ya" experience" Just wish Chevrolet would build other vehicles I like, but for now, I love my Corvette and appreciate the professional atmosphere...which makes my overall enjoyment with my Corvettes all the better. read more

I had a most wonderful experience at evergreen Chevrolet this past weekend. I was in urgent need of a vehicle in my price range as my old vehicle was no longer operational. Seila, the wonderful sales person who took care of me, really listened to my statements about what I was looking for as well as my budgetary constraints. I was made to feel comfortable and well attended to. After viewing several vehicles, she understood which direction we needed to go. She then introduced me to a vehicle that was the perfect fit for me and within my budget. Close to a stress free transaction (this for someone who had not made a purchase in 20 years!) Kevin, the Finance Manager took it from there. He took the time to go over my best payment options (including the lowest interest rates and extended warranty) and together we came up with the best package. Again, I felt very well taken care of. The dealership staff is ill-equipped to handle online sales. The sales individual I worked with was utterly incompetent who not only didn't know anything about cars but also doesn't know how to drive a manual transmission car or simply note down the right address from the driver's license to the sales contract. They also do not treat remote customers with the necessary respect even after establishing credibility and identity verification. I could not get anyone to call me back to verify that the entire purchase amount has been wired to their account. It took me 24 hours after repeatedly calling them to verify that they indeed had received the money wired. If the car wasn't the only one in the country that I wanted to buy I wouldn't have dealt with this dealership. Move on to the next dealership. read more

I think Jay in service knows it when I call in because I have been getting my car serviced here through 4 names changes and/or management changes of this place!! Michelle who is the service manager now was my service advisor when I first came to service my car! Wow! Imagine, getting my car serviced from the same place since we bought the car at a special event in Bellevue! Holly molly!! Ok, down to the nitty gritty! Not all places are perfect or have the customer service you expect but Michelle gave me up front honest car care service when I came in!! In the middle of all the changes the customer service dropped and I felt "just another customer! It was get 'em out and be fine kind of attitude!" However, when Jay A. became my service advisor, the working relationship has been AWESOME! Of course every once in awhile it gets busy in the service area that things don't always get done right or I have to get rescheduled later in the week, even though I made a reservation to get my car serviced! Didn't tell me they'll have a guy drive me over to a rental car place and drop me off. Nope goodbye. Maybe tell customers what to expect about a rental arrangement and then be prepared knowing they need a car. Oh and their sales will text and ask if there's anything they can help with. I just leased a Bolt here and it was a great experience. I'm a pretty obsessive shopper when it comes to cars so I've seen the good and bad at a lot of dealerships. First off Kyle was fantastic, knowledgeable about the car but not one of those guys wasting your time explaining every little feature and spec. And genuinely just a nice guy, seriously the guy was coloring with my toddler while I reviewed paperwork. When it came time to review numbers there were no games - the numbers were all there and clear. No four square, no bringing in another guy to negotiate, etc. We quickly came to an agreeable price and I drove home with a sweet new ride. read more

Thanks for selling me a used car that has a headlight housing secured with fiberglass tape. Now I get to spend 700 dollars to have it fixed. What else am I going to find wrong with this car? Also had to have the AC compressor replaced within a couple of months. Will never buy anything from you again and will tell everybody I know that you sell un- safe used vehicles I noticed that Evergreen would like me to call them about this situation so I have called 3 times now and have left messages without ever being called back. Ralph took a personal phone call on our test drive, used profanity multiple times while interacting with us, talked over my husband and I while we were discussing the vehicle. After sitting down to the table, the sales manager starts by low-balling our trade-in, $3,000 lower than KBB. I point this out and they say that they'll only go higher on it if they take away the rebates... [insert eye roll] After we were very upfront with our credit situation, providing them with our exact FICO Auto 8 score, negative equity amount, down payment information, and desired monthly payment, we were assured that they had lenders that would make that work before we authorized running our credit. 1 hour later, they come back with an offer that looks nothing like what we've talked about. More negotiation and we get to terms we can all agree to... but then they tell us that they need to run it through the bank for approval. They'll start on it first thing in the morning and we'll hear back from them by noon the next day. At 1pm the next day we haven't heard from anyone, so I reach back out to Ralph who says he's still working on it and he'll let us know early next week. I remind him that the incentives and tax credits expire today and we can't wait until early next week. He tells me he'll call me back in 10 minutes. 2 hours later he calls back and says that they can only make it work if we double our down payment and take a monthly payment $250 / month more than we all agreed to. We walked away from the deal. Now we have 5 new hard inquires on our credit for a waste of time. Would have preferred the dealership just be honest in the first place instead of dinging my credit pointlessly and wasting my time. We won't be back. read more

I didn't buy my two Chevrolets at this dealer. But when I moved to the Issaquah area I had to get my service done there. I was very pleased with the service and the staff. The sales manager even inquired for me on a recall issue that the dealer I bought the car from did not. The parts department helped me with a tire issue and saved me from spending hundreds of dollars that a tire store nearby told me I needed. And they took their time explaining everything. I will buy my next car here and happy to share the review because car dealers can really suck if you get with the wrong people. read more

I had a bad experience combined with a complete write off of me as a customer by the GM (Tony) before he even heard my full question. I would avoid this dealership. I arrived to order a new vehicle and have my trade in evaluated today. NO service lights were on upon my arrival. The GM and others borrowed my key and checked out my vehicle (while I was left inside the showroom). After their look, they proceeded to tell me the "Service Engine Soon" light was on and implied this would take $2500 off the value of my car. It didn't matter much in the moment, as they proceeded to tell me that they could not order a new vehicle for me until 2023 (even though that's why I was there in the first place - a deception in itself vs. just telling me that on the phone when I asked before I came in). Upon starting my car and departing the dealership, there was indeed now a "Service Engine Soon" indicator lit up on my dash. I couldn't figure out why the light was not on when I arrived but it was after they looked at the car. I called the GM (Tony) to ask what, if anything, may have been done that could trigger an indicator to come on (i.e. run diagnostic, plug in computer, start with gas cap open, etc.) to see if this could be explained. Tony became immediately defensive, would not let me finish explaining the situation or my question...he simply said "take your business elsewhere." So I did. The experience itself was curious, but the GM's response has made me absolutely distrust this dealership and how they handle a potential customer. There are much better dealers elsewhere. P.S. I happened to have a picture of my dashboard prior to the visit and emailed it to the sales rep to show my mileage (no service now indicator light) and an after picture (which now showed indicator light on). The GM's response was don't care, don't bother. If this is the way the GM handles a potential customer, I cannot imagine how poorly his team may treat them after a sale. Bad culture. Refused to honor their price posted in a Seattle Craigslist ad on Oct. 18th, 2018 for a 2016 GMC Sierra. I traveled 42 miles to find this out at my appt. Very frustrating, very disappointing. I provided my salesman a copy of the Craigslist ad and I made sure the Sales Manager (WB) was aware of the issue but neither helped. The ad is still posted as of Oct. 23rd, five days after my visit. This ad was allegedly a mistake but, if it was a mistake, why would the ad still be up? It only takes a few seconds to remove a Craigslist ad. Not immediately removing the ad increases the risk of more customers coming to Evergreen Chevrolet under false pretenses. I would have given zero stars but my salesman, Forrest, was very good. I do not fault him for this issue. If the owner or management leaves a comment asking me to contact them...please be very specific as to whom you want me to call. **On Oct. 23rd (5 days after my visit) the ad was updated to reflect that the vehicle is still available as of Oct. 23rd. Price did not change. Why would you continue to advertise an ad (and even update it) of a falsely priced vehicle? If the price was really a mistake, why not change the price when you edited the ad to reflect it still being available as of Oct. 23rd? read more

I've bought three trucks from them over the last 6 years - all brand new - and my last experience was/has stopped me from returning. Over $200k spent and they can't fix a problem that came on the last BRAND NEW TRUCK we bought. Truck was damaged during transport (paint), and we've been chasing them down since October 2019 to fix it. It's shocking that they are so brazen, especially with someone who has spent so much with them over the years. Word of advice - don't deal with Tony, Jay, or anyone for that matter at Evergreen. I recently purchased a used SUV at Evergreen Chevrolet. I had my concerns about the tires when I test drove it(mixed brands). But my concerns became reality when I left the dealership with my handsome new to me SUV. I immediately heard what sounded like the tires rubbing or what studded tires sound/feel like. I took it to a dealership closer to my home. It was confirmed that the back set of tires were either out of round and/or certainly defective. I contacted Evergreen Chevrolet, including the owner, and I was thoughtfully contacted by both Andy and Michelle(separate calls). They both demonstrated concern for this issue and worked to negotiate a win-win situation for us both. I was very impressed with Andy's willingness to meet me half-way on finding a satisfactory solution. Even though the SUV was sold "as is" and the dealership did not have to address my concern, they did so-with professionalism and care. Evergreen Chevrolet backs their reputation with their words and actions. Thank you to Andy, Michelle and Daniel R.(owner) for satisfying this customers concerns. Buyers: my take away and lesson learned-make sure the tread on all four tires are congruent. A tire that is nearly on the end of its life may have problems that have to be addressed sooner rather than later. IMHO its not the best of signs if you are considering a vehicle that has mixed brands of tires...yellow flag. read more

This is the worst car dealership experience I've ever had. Went to buy a used 2020 Camaro ZL1 and the salesman who sold us the car had been using it has his personal vehicle for hundreds of miles. Had his phone connected to the car and everything. Put a dent in the wheelwell, didn't disclose the dent, showed us the car while it was being washed in a dark area. We took pictures before we left. They refused to honor that they did the damage to the vehicle even though we had pictures of the damage (good thing we took pics) before we took posession. I had to escalate it to GM Corporate. THEN I got the VIN inspection done, and sent it to the salesman. He never turned it in, so they canceled the registration of my car. Never called. Never emailed. No communication. Called them at month 6 of not having plates and they never called back. Finally emailed and they said they never got them and so I would have to register the vehicle on my own. DO NOT DO BUSINESS THERE. They are shady, they don't tell the truth, and they make it as hard as possible on out of state buyers. read more

I would give a great review except for the fact that I'm an Oregon buyer and a full 9 weeks after paying cash for a vehicle, including title and registration, the DMV has received nothing from the dealer in order to issue title, registration, and plates. The second trip permit runs out tomorrow at which time I'll be driving illegally since they can't issue a third. My only remedy is to pay the registration and title fee of $290 a second time for a three month permit and hope that Evergreen reimburses me and actually gets around to sending the paperwork in. I don't feel like holding my breath since they seem unable to cross their t's and dot their i's. read more

So very upset with the dishonest service I was provided. I dropped off my Chevy suburban at 10:00, on a Thursday, for them to check my hatch that was not working properly, and a recall for brakes. When I arrived I also asked if they could check my window that was not closing properly, Brad said "not problem, that won't take long, it probably just needs to be reprogrammed." I left with my children in tow on a rainy day to walk around Issaquah- no rental car. I received a call from Brad at 10:45 saying i "should go to lunch, it's going to be a bit longer." I replied "oh, how do you know, what is the issue?" He stated "he did not know yet", then he implied that he was not even sure if they had a chance to diagnose it yet. I said "alright, I'll go to lunch but please keep me posted." The next call I received was at 11:45 from Brad stating "window has been reprogrammed and we will need to order a strut and actuator for the hatch, costing $500, and a day and a half to order parts. The car is ready for you to pick it up now." "Ok, I'll talk to my husband and get back to you about the parts, but I'm on my way to get the car. Thank you. " I said. When I returned to the Evergreen office at 12:00, Brad proceeded to give me my bill, for two hours of labor $340 +/- tax ($170 per labor hour). I questioned this because I spoke with him an hour earlier and he has implied that my car was not even looked at yet. I stated ' I do not mind paying for labor, but I believe that this is not an honest bill because I spoke with you earlier, and you said the car was not looked at." He replied with "I'm honest, I did not know how far your vehicle was in the process, but here is what I will do... I'll give you $20 per labor hour off, and 10% off of total." I said "it should only be an hour of work at most." He knew he was caught in a lie, that is why he gave me the discount. This still left me feeling like I had gotten screwed. I was inthralled. (I'm writing this review I have no other recourse.) I paid $300 for what I believe was an hour of work, not to mention I know they will charge Chevy for the recall on the brakes, and labor - which was not even an issue, just a red-Flag that popped up when they entered my vehicle into the computer system. I'm very unsatisfied. I feel I was bamboozled with very dishonest service. I did try to reach out while I was there. Brad thought the way he handled the situation was proper. read more

Went in here to view and test drive two cars. Started the process and told my sales guy that I didn't want to run my credit yet. I asked if it was a hard or soft check. He didn't know. So, I told him not to. Whilst being a little pushy over buying the car, I turned down the offers for a loaner car and went about my way. I planned to return if other test drives didn't work out. I got home that evening to a credit alert in my email; they did in fact check my credit!! Business lost! I bought my new car elsewhere, however with rates higher than I would have liked, because their check on my credit reduced my score by 23 points!! I also received a phone call at 930 the next morning to ask what I was doing! Very presumptive and pushy! Will never go here again, nor recommend them! read more

"I'm emailing you to complain about one of your sales managers that was giving a speech in the sales lobby this morning while I was dropping off a car for service. Personal views should NEVER make it into a work place meeting/speech/conversation especially when it comes to current politics. Hearing Trevor Fawcett, one of the sales managers from Ford, talk about why trump wants to build a wall in a positive light was disgusting to hear, especially said so out in the open in a meeting ON THE FLOOR. If he wants to have those views that's entirely his right, but it needs to be left out of meetings, or at the very least not said where customers can hear. I'm very disappointed and disturbed by his speech and do not feel comfortable giving my business, or my workplaces business, to a company that allows this to happen.
