Got my tires at Costco a few years ago and had slow leak recently. Made and appointment and runs out it had bad valve stem that they replaced it no charge. Was thrilled initially. But then I get back in my car to find the napkins from my glove box thrown all over my passenger seat and floor. Then noticed the $20 cash missing from the compartment under my radio... Also a mostly used bottle of hand sanitizer missing as well?? Can't prove the cash was in there, so nothing to be done. But feeling pretty icky about it the whole experience there now... read more

I would give 10 stars if I could. My boyfriend and I were very stressed with our tire conditions and other tire centers not fixing the issue at hand. We came to the Costco Tire Center at Issaquah and met Armando. Armando kindly walked us through our options and fixed all our problems on the car. If the person who is supposed to open dates cannot sleep on the job and open everyday at the same time it would be helpful for people checking to make an appointment not waste their time. I will not recommend Costco Tires for a new tire installation. While on paper they offer great warranty, but its totally useless. I bought new tires for my car this month. A week later, I had a flat tire. I called them and was told that the first appointment they can give me is a month out, and as a result I had to take the car to another tire shop and replace the flat tire. Costco warranty for road hazard is useless as they are almost always super busy and will not be able to get you in to repair/replace damaged tire. My second car needs new tires and I will mostly go with Discount Tires or a local tire shop. read more

First a disclaimer, I really like Costco a lot. I shop there all the time. I've even been a Costco stock holder for thirty years or so. I bought some good Michelin tires for a fair price at Costco and had them installed at the Costco Tire Center, Issaquah, WA. A couple days ago the low tire pressure indicator came on so I checked the air pressure, pumped up the low tire and headed off to Costco. The tires are a month old now with about 1000 miles on them They said they were busy but would work me into the schedule. Four hours later they asked what the problem was as they could see nothing obvious. Well the tire was leaking about 1 lb. per hour said I. After about a half hour the tech came back to say that the tire was leaking at the bead. He put some sealant on it but it was still leaking a bit. He said my rim was corroded and I should visit my car dealer. I asked why they would put the tire on a corroded rim and he said "they couldn't see down in there" when they installed them. After waiting four hours I was too tired to tell himthat was total BS. The rims are undamaged aluminum and clearly would not be corroded. Made an appointment with Les Schwab. The tech found a bead tag, a small bit of plastic attached to the tire bead that is to be removed when installing them. The tag hadn't been removed, he removed it and the sealant the Costco tech had smeared about. Tire is now holding air just fine. Pure incompetence. Be sure that I'll never, ever buy tires from Costco again. read more

Do not purchase tires on Costco.com! Purchased a set of tires two weeks before my installation appointment. Tires did not arrive in time for installation though I kept getting appt reminders. No apologies from Costco Tire Center, they blamed Costco.com. Almost didn't get a refund since they didn't have the tires - though they had my money for two weeks. Never again! read more

Well, Costco tire center is super busy or pretend to be busy. They give you appointment 1 month or 2 month far out. Doesn't matter the sense of urgency like flat tire, but they are understaffed and super busy. It would be rather better go to the discount tires or some other company who have specific business around tires only. read more

I purchase tires from Costco a few years ago, recently I took my car in with an issue. Unfortunately it could not be repaired and I purchase new tires. They walked me through options, shared recommendations, and discounted the new tires given I was a repeat and they were under warranty (even though the tires weren't at fault). I then had issues with one tire and each time they've expedited inspecting the car and troubleshooting the issue. And went above and beyond by replacing it completely. Got my tires here. Easy enough. But then had one of the tires with a slow leak and had to keep adding air. So next appointment online to get it fixed was 3 weeks out! So I walked in to get it fixed and they couldn't tell me how long I'd have to wait, so I sat there... and sat there. Finally after 3 hours they fixed it with a note to come back after 25 Mike's for a "torque verification check, no appointment needed". No thanks. If you value time and schedule accordingly; this is not the place. I've been going here to exchange my tires out for years now. Yesterday was the worst. My APPOINTMENT was 6:30pm. They tell me it's going to take 2hrs. 2hrs? For tires exchange. I did my shopping and I come out to check at 8 pm to see where my car is. I see the car in the stall and thinking it's almost done. NOPE, they just took down a tire. So why schedule me a 6:30pm appointment if you're not going to work on it for 1 1/2 hour later. Kicker- they were done at 8:35pm. I don't think I will be scheduling an appointment back as it's a waste of my time. They likely took walk-in jobs before my scheduled appointment. read more

I recently got a whole new set of tires from this Costco Tire Center. I walked into the tire center not having a good amount of knowledge about the model of my car's tires, but the staff was very patient and helpful in asking the right questions to get the necessary information. The research and purchasing process with the employee that helped me was seamless and reassuring, which I really appreciated. I don't know that much about cars, so it was nice to be helped by someone who truly is an expert. When one thinks of car maintenance, they often conjure up memories of long lines, like the DMV. This was not the case. The staff here worked in such an efficient manner that the entire purchasing process took less than 20 minutes. When I brought my car in to be worked on, they were very clear in communicating how long the service would take and were very accurate in their estimations. I am grateful for the employees of the Costco Tire Center. They did a great job, and were a pleasure to work with. For anyone who has a Costco membership and lives on the Eastside, Costco Tire Center's quality of service far exceeds the cost. read more

I want to extend a huge thanks to the tire techs at the Costco Tire Center in Issaquah, especially Moises, for helping us out this evening. Our tire had a screw in it and we were unable to inflate it using the compressor at the inflation station because the pressure was too low so we asked the techs for help. Although the Tire Center was about to close, Moises was kind enough to inflate our tire so we could get home safely where we were able to change our tire in our garage instead of in the rain. Wow, just wow. Worst customer service EVER! We literally just walked out and left because the Costco tire technician was SO rude. I have been a long time customer of Les Schwab and Costco tire center just made me a Les Schwab customer for life. We recently moved and needed to get our snow tires on. We thought we'd try Costco because there isn't a Les Schwab near us and we do pay for Costco memberships so we thought what the heck let's try going there. Big mistake. First of all they tell you in the email to get there 15 minutes early and we were there on the dot at 9:45 for our 10:00am appt. But not a single tire center person in sight. Then we finally get inside and are checking in for the appointment that I made online and the guy proceeds to be rude and bothered that we are bringing our tires to get switched over because we didn't buy them there.... okay?! Then it should say that on your website. Then proceeds to say he'll take our car even though it's against policy and is huffing and puffing about it the whole time. Then he continues to patronize me asking if I have been taking care of my tires like as a woman, I wouldn't know how to do that sort of thing. That was enough for me to walk out and never come back. Save yourself some time and do yourself a favor and just go to Les Schwab instead. I have only ever had good experiences with Les Schwab and they are always kind and helpful unlike my experience just now. read more

If I could give them 10 stars I would. I recently busted one of my tires due to slipping into some construction work, and because my tires were purchased at Costco I went back there to see if they would be able to help me. I cannot express the amount of professionalism when it comes to efficiency and customer service. Every single person there is dedicated to their job, which shows through their service. The lady at the front who helped me at the time (I believe her name started with a T) was very quick to see if she could find someone who would be able to take care of me. Then, Chris (with glasses) took the time to look at my loose wheel and find the problematic areas, which he then also took the time to try and fix even though he and the whole shop was busy due to the holiday times. Unfortunately, the whole wheel had to get replaced but with the help of Armando who fixed my wheel and put the whole thing together in less than 10 minutes, I was able to get up and out of there in no time. These guys really care; again, it shows through their work and how they interact with members. They take the time to help you out and make sure you are taken care of. I will always be back for any of my tire needs or concerns. Special shoutout to Chris (with glasses and the one with dark hair), Armando, the nice lady, John (former military guy, I think that is his name), and just about everyone else in that shop. Last night I had the unfortune to get a flat on my way home and my tires needed replacing so I stopped in at Costco for some new ones. This is the second set I've purchased from the same location and this time the crew really made my day. Given how swamped they were in the morning, my expectations were pretty low. I purchased a set of tires and setup an appointment for NEXT WEEK to have them installed (by the way NEXT week was actually "lucky" because someone had canceled an appointment while the clerk was looking for a time). I left my car to see if the tire could be patched enough to limp by for the week. I then walked home and crossed my fingers. I show up to pick the car up after they called to tell me it was ready... Ready is an UNDERSTATEMENT. My car was sporting 4 NEW tires and ready to rock and roll! AT BEST all I expected was a patched old tire, but 4 brand spanking new tires was AWESOME. I know it is hard for companies to shine ALL THE TIME, but when they do it makes all the difference. The tire center doesn't "do much" but my experiences (I've replaced batteries with them too) will keep ME coming back. read more

I'm usually satisfied with my shopping experience, but my experience with the Costco Tire Center has been hit and miss, with a bad experience getting the winter tires put on. There was a long wait, even with an appointment. I put my car in, then went into the warehouse for some shopping. After over an hour I checked my car's parking spot. It hadn't been moved. I went back in for more shopping. I remembered that I left something in my car, had extra keys and went to the parking spot and it was moved, this was at about the 1hr 15 minute mark. So I went back into the warehouse to shop. I finally got my car back after two and a half hours. read more

(ZERO STAR IF I COULD) I went in to get 4 brand new Michelin tires for my car. When I got my car back they curb 2 of my rims, acting like it wasn't there fault! I put a claim in but they still haven't resolve the problem, keep on telling me there system is down. What does that have to do with my claim or damage wheels that they caused? Customer service was terrible! If you care about your car then this isn't the tire center for you. UPDATE: They say it's not there fault. Won't cover any damage cost or anything! Bought some Michelin tires here about 10 months ago for a little all wheel drive car. As the car had a very particular wheel size the tires were pretty pricey. In the time I had them they managed to find every screw nail or sharp bolt on the road. Costco was prompt in repairing the tires. Generally I was disappointed with the tires performance rather than Costco. When one of the tires developed a large bubble on the side 10,000 miles before it's warranty mileage I took the car in and was told I could get a warranty replacement but that due to fact the car is AWD and the tires were fairly worn I should replace the other 3. By now I was ready to switch to a different tire all together and and was generally not impressed with Michelin, which again was not Costco's fault. When I talked with the tire center manager and AGM at the store they initially indicated they would look into helping me out the best they could, even if it meant I got tires elsewhere. Considering the age of the tires when one nearly catastrophically failed and their generally poor performance I hoped that at the very least, Costco would just return the one failed tire and then do a mileage reimbursement for the ones, that while still riddled with patches had not failed yet. Instead, after nearly two weeks of talking with the store, and in one instance needlessly coming to the warehouse I was told that Costco and Michelin were going to do a tread life mileage reimbursement on all the tires and seemingly ignored the fact that one had been ready to blow out all together. In total the reimbursement amount ended being about the cost of one tire. I understand that the tires were worn, and I chose the car with weird wheels but it really felt like Costco missed an opportunity to make the situation right with one of their suppliers, who I believe sold me a defective product. read more
