I used to like going here with my family but I don't know if they changed the prices or something because we ended up paying a little over $50 for 2 people when we went. For that price I would have gone to a steakhouse. It is also getting so humid and warm in there these days. The worst restaurant I've ever been to 0/10, NEVER AGAIN! We stopped at this Asian buffet on our way to Vegas, and the food was absolutely disgusting. Nothing was edible. Everything tasted off, old, and poorly prepared. Even the white rice was a pot of mush. I am posting to warn anyone who is looking for food to avoid this place. Please save your money and simply go any where but here. This was one of the worst restaurants we have ever been to. One it's terribly hot inside and the feeling of the place is not clean. The food looks off but we gave it a shot and tried it..... don't! It was not good. The food has sour hints of food that isn't good to consume. The soups taste like dish water, the "chicken items" taste ranted or off. The shell/seafood had sand in them so every other bite was an off putting. Lastly the expenses are not posted and adults are 12 and up they said. We were four kids two adults and paid $120... we would have been better off eating Taco Bell or Wendy's and we don't eat fast food. read more

There may be use of MSG (sometimes too much) as you can taste the saltiness/sweetness in many dishes including the sweet and sour soup and many of the chicken dishes Good: steamed clams (especially if you enjoy fermented black beans), mussels on ice, fried shrimp (does have shell), sweet and sour soup (does have mushroom), steamed fish, broccoli chicken, brownie :D Avoid: sushi isn't really sushi, potsticker (large one or fried bun), pork hock is very salty, the two dishes with imitation crabs with one overwhelmingly salty and the other very queasy, donut was bready, dishes that look like they've been sitting out for a while since it could be quite dry Ambience: 3/5 - nice decorations but it's a bit older as things are worn/faded and you can see long term stains in some areas Service: 5/5 - one dude did everything front of the house from seating us, getting drinks, cleaning tables, closing checks, vacuuming the floor, etc! The service is slow and we accumulated some plates before they collect them. The food quality is poor i'm surprise that they are still attracting customers to come back. Every entrée was cold and the place is seriously in need of an upgrade. They had towels on the wall underneath the windows to absorb water and condensation. We read a lot of the reviews that came before ours, and they made us skeptical of whether or not we would enjoy having dinner here. First off, the staff are GREAT and they really are so friendly and nice. I've never seen more humble people willing to serve you. The food may not be the best of the best of American Chinese cuisine, but everything we tried was delicious and absolutely worth going back for: sas Chicken, Teriyaki chicken, fried rice, sas Pork, potstickers, spring rolls, and much more. Came here for lunch with our tour group of about 50 people. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of selection that the buffet ordered. My favorites were the schezwan chicken, fried red bean sesame balls, and also the fried dumplings. The fried dumplings appeared homemade which was a nice touch. Took my wife & daughter to dinner tonight. For the 2nd time in a row we left after dropping $52.44 for 3 "meals " unsatisfied, still hungry and upset at being ripped off. Hope this place enjoys the $104.88 from our last two visits because they will NEVER get another penny from us. We arrived well before closing and found half of the buffet empty or with old, hard food in the trays. Most decent buffet places replenish their food trays regularly with fresh food. NOT this place. We had to supplement the garbage they served with food we had at home. And they still expected a tip. What a joke! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. It was good in the past, not any more. Honestly, if this is how they conduct their restaurant business then we need to spend our hard earned money elsewhere. Let close down. I like the food taste and selection of food. I attended this buffet last night on Friday December 11, 2020 at around 4:30 p.m. It was the beginning of their dinner service and all the food appeared to be fresh and hot. I waited about three minutes to be seated by a kind man who was polite and made sure we had our drinks served immediately. I particularly enjoyed the deep fried shrimp, they were butterflied, battered in bread crumbs and fried to perfection. I also enjoyed the cream cheese won-tons, they were fried perfectly. I dipped both of these items in their red sauce, but found it to be a little bland and more liquid than usual. In other words it didn't seem to stick to the food as well as I would have liked; although, it wasn't on par with the typical sweet and sour sauce I have had there, it was still flavorful. In my mind, their signature dish is honey chicken. This is a tasty battered and fried chicken dish with a honey sauce, which I would imagine is made with honey and mayonnaise as the two main ingredients. It was crispy on the outside and tender in the middle and as to be expected the sauce was on point. Even though, it was good, it was not my favorite dish. They served two kinds of teriyaki chicken, which I am a fan of and could have just eaten teriyaki chicken and rice and been completely satisfied. The first tery chicken is marinated and served in a sauce, which is a bit oily and runny, but leaves the chicken extremely tender and full of flavor. I love it when you could virtually cut the chicken with a blunt instrument and it comes apart indicating just how juicy and tender it really was. The other chicken is served like a street food on a stick. Normally, I don't like this style as much, because it tends to dry out quickly under the lamps, but this time it was on point. Although, the chicken tery was good, it still was not my favorite item. Sadly, I didn't get the name of the item I enjoyed the mos, but it was somewhere in between a broccoli beef without the broccoli and a general's chicken but made with beef. The beef strips were cooked perfectly and the sauce was peppery with a little tang. If I were at a Thai restaurant, I would have given this spice level about a 2. Either way, this dish was divine and if I hadn't already loaded up on the wonderful shrimp and chicken teriyaki, I could have seen myself eating only this dish over steamed rice. Perhaps if I come back for a takeout plate this is what I will order. Nevertheless, there were many dishes I tried but sadly, could not get to all of them. Honorable mentions on the food line were the small egg rolls, the egg drop soup, the spicy mushroom soup and the chow mein. The small egg rolls were fresh and the ingredients popped as I bit into them. I really like this little fellas and I could go for some of them right now for breakfast as I write this review. The chow mein is made with the lo mein noodles; I really love the flavor of this dish, but am careful to not indulge too much as it can take up a lot of space. The soups simply put are "traditional" and completely on point. The egg drop with the won ton chips and a touch of soy could be a daily lunch for me in and of itself as it is perfect every time. Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to try everything they offer, as it is a buffet with about 40 plus food choices when you include the two cold lines, the Mongolian barbecue line and the sushi choices. Visually pleasing items, but did not have room included: raw shrimp medium in size, small crab legs, mussels, sushi selections, general Tsoa's chicken, stuffed clams (could have been mussels), beef stuffed dumplings, fried rice and a wide assortment of jellos and salads. Also, there is an ice cream and limited desert selection one can choose, but in my case I loaded up on the shrimp and other dishes mentioned above. Is it worthy of four stars. Some might say that after a review like this, it might be more deserving of five stars, while others would be prone to think no buffet deserves more than a 3. While the food was not earth shattering, it's taste fit the bill for what I would consider Chinese food to be. There were many selections and the food was served hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive as well as made sure our drinks were filled and our plates cleared. The ambiance was adequate. It is a Chinese buffet and the surroundings met the criteria of what one would expect. I used the bathroom and it was clean and didn't have any weird smells. The cost for two dinners (unlimited) and one soda was twenty-nine dollars and change. If you are looking for a typical Chinese buffet with a wide array of choices and some dishes that are above average, I would highly recommend this establishment. If you are a bit haughty-taughty and are expecting PF Chang's, then this is not the place for you. I like the food and the people who work there, but you should go and try for yourself, you might just be pleasantly surprised. read more

I was looking for a specific dish for my dad who was in the hospital. He was craving cooked shrimp in butter and lemon. No salt (dietary restrictions). They didn't have it, but the wonderful people there went to the kitchen cooked up about 6 pieces of shrimp to see if that is the what I was looking for. I was thrilled, it was. They then cooked up a full meal with some vegetable for my dad. It was such a wonderful relief to have someone do some thing so nice for my dad and I. Probably the worst chinese place I've ever been to. For starters, the fountain drinks were watered down and the water tasted like pool water. Every bit of food was bland and took too long to replace, because they had such a small area of food. It wasn't the cleanest place, but it wasn't dirty. They were quick to clear empty tables and wipe them down. The seat though just felt kind of gross to me.
