I don't recommend this company at all. USAA has them as a preferred provider I would leave zero stars if possible! Spoke with Emily, who just apologized for the lack of communication. This company has not showed up, or maintained communication with us. in fact they have done nothing but cause us embarrassment. They are creating inconvenience for our tenants, and embarrassment for us. I have reported them to USAA - this is not the quality of what we have been promised or expect from USAA. If it were up to me I would not put them on any preferable list. Very disappointed with this company! Why hasn't this company had anything but one star reviews in the last 5 years. It's been 5 years since they had a good review, what does that tell you???? It speaks volumes to me. I mentioned this to Matt at USAA our adjustor and asked him WHY USAA would do business with a company like this. He said, USAA sends out surveys to see how their customers like the job of Evergreen. no one here has given them anything other that a 1 star review in 5 years. They don't deserve a single star. Poor communication and disorganized. They have been working on a repair of a very small area of my house for over five months. The workers are unreliable, poor quality of work, and the manager- Tim Kiourkas stopped responding to my messages after I communicated another mess up. If I could leave a zero star I would we had a pipe leak under the house and it was the worst experience working with this company my family and I even got exposed to asbestos for months due to their negligence!!!! They never constantly work on our house there was long periods of time when they never showed up to work. They started the demo and dry out in Jan but didn't finish till October. No on ever knew what was happening the lady in the office would say that someone would be out to do one part of the project like demo and pack out then when the worker showed they thought they needed to just pack and that the demo was done. The demo was not done in fact I had been asking for to come out and do the final dry part of the demo for months. read more

Poor attention to detail and poor communication with this company. I used them to repair water/mold damage in a rental house, because they were on an approved list from my insurance company. (You can bet I have told the insurer I will not use them again.) The lead time was weeks out, which meant loss of two months' rent. Okay, I get it, they're busy. Once they started, they used subcontractors to do a lot of the work, and would not be accountable for the subs' work. Some of the work was barely acceptable (poor drywall seams, ran the furnace control wire on a ridiculous route and said they'd fix it but didn't). The last contractor left screws and plumbing debris (cut-off pipe ends) lying on the garage floor. Someone broke the water tank thermostat dial, and they took over 2 weeks to fix it, then didn't bother to tell me when it was fixed, costing me another month's rent. Their response? "Well, isn't he insurance company paying you for lost rent?" No, not after the completion date Evergreen estimated and didn't live up to. That cost me $1100. Then, they overcharged me. The bid included replacing carpet in the closet; but I had just replaced all the carpets in the house and had a piece cut out for the closet. Did they take that off the bill? No. The bid included final clean-up, which wasn't done but which they were paid for by the insurance company. I requested a refund of the charge plus tax. Their response? They readily refunded the final cleaning line item; but "No tax refund. Evergreen has already paid tax on your claim. Thank you." What? They paid the tax on work they didn't do but were paid for, but they won't refund it? For $13 they could have had a more satisfied customer. Instead, they got a customer that recommends that nobody use them. If even one person uses someone else, they've lost a lot more than $13. And I hope a LOT of people read this and choose someone else who will do the job right and on time. I gave them two stars because the actual work done was mostly well-done. I don't think they are actively dishonest, but they don't run the business as if they care a whit about the customer. I guess if you have enough business, you don't have to care about your reputation or repeat business from satisfied customers. read more

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy! Very unprofessional. I waited 2 months for them to start the repairs on my home but they kept pushing the date out, making excuses. Don't waste your time! There are plenty of other contractors out there who are more honest and reliable! I also found this company to be highly unethical. I had water damage in several downstairs rooms from a leak that started in an upstairs bathroom. I called Evergreen and they came to look at the damage in a timely manner. Evergreen's adjuster, Andy, arrived on time and took pictures of the damage and wrote an appraisal which was then approved by my insurance company. Everything was taken care of in a seamless fashion and with as little disruption to me as possible. During the repairs, Julio from Evergreen, protected my furniture and personal property with plastic before he started working. He completed the repairs with great care and they were done expertly. Evergreen's employees were very professional and the level of service was outstanding. I am very pleased with the outcome and they made an awful situation easy for me. Thank you Evergreen. I've had two floodings in my house this year. Both times, they were repaired by Evergreen Restoration. The first time was beautiful, splendid work I could not have complained. I was always in the loop and notified of any changes and the scheduling! The second time I could have gone through another repairing company, but chose to go through Evergreen Restoration again and my flooring is back together, the carpet is beautiful and my counter tops. Andy, Jimmy, and Don always kept me notified. They were a pleasure to work with! read more

We used Evergreen to restore our basement bathroom and utility closet after a leak involving the main floor bathtub rained water down from above--eeeek! They were professional, helpful and efficient throughout the whole process. They even came back to re-do the paint when we realized it wasn't exactly right. This place of business is a joke, I will not recommend this company, they have a bad and worst customer service from the start to finish. My insurance sent them a check of hefty 14k, and I sent my deductible of 1k, and all has been settle and ready and decided not to do the job, left us hanging. I would highly advise not going with this company they quoted things way too high and are very unreasonable working with insurance even though they claim to be a restoration company that works with insurance. They are terrible with communication as well I struggle to get in touch with my estimator and even the management. My mother-in-law and the family that lives with her has been without a kitchen now for almost two months. Literally no sink, oven ,cabinets ,or washer and dryer. All they've managed to get done in this time is some paint and flooring. I'm in the remodel business and I can tell you this was a two to three-week job Max. This will be the first Thanksgiving we haven't had at her house in 10 years. Very disappointed. I'll be sure to leave a review on the quality of their work when it's done but who knows when that will be. read more

Our six week project took eight months. They hired subcontractors who didn't know what they were doing, and our first project manager was condescending and difficult. Our second project manager at least tried but our wood floors were refinished improperly (plus the refinisher disposed of refinishing solution of some sort down our kitchen sink, which ruined the sink and probably didn't do much for our plumbing) so they had to be refinished a second time (and out sink replaced). Evergreen has refused to reimburse us for expenses we incurred because of their shoddy work, expenses they committed in writing to pay, so we are having to sue them in small claims court. Run away to any other contractor. read more

Liars. These people missed every deadline they gave me. I had a leak in August 2017; they said it was a 2-4 week job. They finished in January 2018. We came home one day to find them playing on our antique pinball machine. They said they were "testing" it - Lies. They told me that my husband approved something, NOPE - lies. They blamed the flooring contractor for one of the delays, NOPE - lies. The information they have on file with the state is wrong, so don't try to file a claim if something goes wrong with your job - lies. The owner was involved when they started missing deadlines - assured us they would "get their best crew" on it - lies. Never had more than one-two people on the job at any one time. One day there were two guys on the job all day and they installed a closet shelf and a light fixture. What a disaster. One of the worst experiences of my life. read more

The entire staff from this company has been wonderful!!! The people in the office (Tom, Dan and Walter) have been great but I have been especially impressed with the in home workers, Chuck and Luis!! These two gentleman came in to my home and were friendly, respectful to my Husband and I and our home and very highly skilled at their job! I hope and pray I never have to deal with a restoration project again but if by chance I do, I will without a second thought call Evergreen Restoration to the rescue!!! read more

After finding out that I had a water leak in my rental property I hired Evergreen Restoration after the mold remediation. The earliest that they could get to my job was 6-8 weeks. I paid them in full at the time that I contracted to have the job done. Their estimator informed me that they would restore my kitchen to its original state. After the carpenter was unable to restore the cabinet under the sink to my satisfaction, I opted to replace my cabinets. The carpenter Ted, said that he knew a cabinet guy that could get me replacement cabinets and that he would be willing to do the work on the weekend on his own time as a side job. He assured me that he notified his company and that they were ok with it. After the cabinets were installed, I asked Ted when he was going to install the plumbing, Instant Hot and dishwasher and he said that he was doing the cabinets only. I told him that I paid Evergreen in advance for the plumbing, Instant installation and dishwasher installation. He told me that that was between me and Evergreen. After calling Evergreen they refused to do the work, even though I told the accountant that I have an itemized statement that included all of said work. She told me that they underbid the job and that they were unwilling to do the work or give me a refund and that they made a mistake and underbid the job and that they would not be working for free. I told the accountant that all he did was partially rebuild one cabinet. She said that he charged for 40 hrs of labor and he must have been doing other jobs for me as well. I reiterated that he only partially rebuilt 1 cabinet and that I cannot do the accounting for his hours. He was paid separately to the amount of $1700 for the installation of my new cabinets. I was told that they would get back to me, but I have been waiting now for 2 weeks. Apparently they decided that they could take my full payment, and then decide not to do the work. I must add that I was billed for painting, baseboards, and haul away fees, none of which were done. read more
